2 days to go until The FOSE Kitoko Fashion Show! On Sunday, September 24th, from 5PM - 8PM, at Houston Rental Studio, African Fashion Week Houston 2017 will present an exclusive selection of designers showcasing high fashion collections. Before the show, from 2PM - 5PM, visit The Market Place to shop a selection of fashion, beauty and lifestyle vendors. Our host for the evening will be celebrity MC, stand up comedian and actor, MC PC @mcpccomedian, and presenting their collections on the runway will be - Adeàrà (Adeola Mosanya) @adearaco, House of Takura (Annette Njau) @houseoftakura, Kachi Designs (Chigozie Anaele) @kachidesigns, Nma Couture (Julie Ihe) @nmacouture, PR Customs (Marlor Mitchell) @prcustoms, and Rocky Boston (Rocky Boston) @rocky.boston. Also taking to the runway will be selected student designers from Project AI 2017 from @artinstitutehou, who will be presenting their creations made in collaboration with AFWH. AFWH is excited to introduce AskDetola @house_of_detola as one the labels showing at AFWH 2017, at the Ankara 4 Seasons Fashion Show on Friday, September 22nd, 2017! Born in Providence, Rhode Island, designer Adetola Adeoso was taken back home to Nigeria at the tender age of 2 where she developed a unique style inspired by her culture, her environment, and most importantly her parents. She loves dressing fabulously and adds that element into her custom designs and creations. “I love fashionable outfits, I love interior decor, which now has me addicted to colors, fabrics, and artistic decorations”. Adetola’s colorful and exciting journey began two years ago in her now place of residence, Houston, Texas. During that time she has dedicated her time to her craft full time, saying of the expereince, “I love what I do!
