Your muse is 94 when he becomes zombified. Being a Jotun is difficult. Becoming a zombie at the age of 94 doesn’t help things. Phil spends the regular time in quarantine as other zombified citizens, then an extra two years under medical observation (although he’s allowed to come and go as he pleases) because nobody’s sure how he’s going to be affected. As it turns out, he’s okay– at least physically.

He watches more than a hundred years roll by, long enough for solar power to become the default energy provider for most of Earth. He’s proud to say that, in his little corner of the world, he was able to help with that– behind the scenes, of course, quietly and without fanfare, as is his nature. But those who truly know him, have a very special nickname for him. It translates roughly to “Winter Who Brings Summer”.

When deadpool showed up in an anime called DISK Wars, the first time was all the fourth wall jokes, the chimichangas, etc. Everyone was really confused and it just wasn't funny. The second time he went a lot more subtle and serious, and it played SO MUCH BETTER. It's Episode 30 for the second time and he has this big speech about how he'd rather die free, he tried to kill Hawkeye to save the world (makes sense in context) and the only 4th wall was saying the producers don't like it too serious

There was a time he had believed that Laufey was noble, was wise, was all-knowing. Laufey had adopted Phillip, taken Phillip into his home, loved him as his own blood and bone, taught him with blade and book.

So it was that those who loved Laufey best, took up arms against him, and had started a war of their own. Phillip glanced to his right, where Loki stood, eyes cast down, prepared for this final battle, the battle that would decide the war.

“Come, brother,” Loki said at last, “let us put an end to this. May we all know peace at last.”

And they led the final charge….

My main thing with Harley is, she's lacking the Red & Black diamond/checkerboard pattern she usually wears. It feels weird to have a more pastel or blue emphasis. That being said, I'd be absolutely fine if that pattern was limited to her jacket. (And yes to longer shorts) And I do hope she's treated respectfully too. She's smart, clever, has friends outside of Joker... she just picked the wrong person to love.

It’s not the first time she’s been without the diamond pattern, or the first time she’s worn red and blue instead of red and black. And even if it were, I wouldn’t mind, because obviously these characters’ looks do change, especially when being translated to live action.

Harley is a really interesting character, and my concern about the shorts aside, so far I think what they’re doing with her looks pretty good. We’ll have to wait and see, of course. 

ETA: I can’t believe it took me this long to notice but she does actually have the diamond pattern: the tattoos on her legs.
