i just think. considering hannibal ran away to buenos aires. it goes like this.

hannibal and will survive the fall and move to bs as. and they're happy and try to keep a low profile but they end up killing some people here and there, which ends up involving the simus.

hannibal and santos have many encounters without knowing they're chasing each other, in a l and kira kind of way, and they end up being friends bc they're both old fancy pretentious middle aged men,,,
