This is going to be really dumb and embarrassing but I really really love Nix of Nothing (I bought books 1-3 🩷🫶🏳️‍⚧️) and I've been studying how you draw expressions and body language and I just have to ask, if you don't mind 👉👈

How do you usually go about drawing bodies🥺? I thought the bean method perhaps but your art is very angular, very sharp, very nice.

I don't mean to bother you with something dumb but I just really love ur art and I NEEEED to be able to draw Kay just right(she's literally me)

I draw in a simplified style, but my studies and reference are towards real bodies. I do figure drawing, have a bunch of anatomy books. I honestly practically collect anatomy books, I like seeing how different people tackle the body.

My aim is often toward drawing more like a fighting game than drawing like a cartoon.

As for angualr-ness, I just like straight lines a lot. One of my big, more "classical" inspirations is J.C. Leyendecker, who despite being a realistic painter, made very angular choices as well.

I’m building website for a friend. Its going a bit slower than I would like but I'm always shite at time estimates. Its really good fun though as I’m developing a back-end support server as well as building the functional front end too. I’m learning a bunch of cool stuff about JWT and Express JS as well as plugging away at Angualr JS.

One thing I am discovering though is that my project organisation is all over the place. I set out with a Trello board and the GitHub issue tracker with two projects (one for server, one for website). I had a plugin for Trello to connect to Github but its not really that great and a bit confusing. I also seem to be spreading issue/ticket details between Github issues and Trello cards randomly. And forgetting to reference issues in commit messages. It would be good to find something that links feature branches with issues directly, like Atlassian, but free.

I guess the thing I need to revise the most though is One Man Scrum. I need to find a development methodology that works for my situation.
