We all go through the heart ache of not thinking we are enough. Someone I once loved told me that I wasn't perfect enough- 'normal' and that my beauty would only last a couple of years. At the time, I was shocked and hurt that someone I loved would say such hurtful things--and even though I was strong, confident and didn't want to believe that nonsense because I knew the core of who I am and everyone's, IS the truest form of beauty. BUT- it wasn't until later I realized those words DID hurt. They DID affect me. So through my search of beauty self esteem, And developing and embracing my self worth and being unapologetic of my perfect imperfections-- that is when I realized my beauty is as I had thought it to be before--and I also realized that that wasn't true love. A person should not love you only for your looks--nor should they put you down, and call you not 'normal' if you don't look a certain way, if they truly love you. But the true essence of beauty, is not about them-- it is about how you feel about yourself. People are going to say things--hurtful things--and having that constant, never ending improvement of beauty self esteem is so vitality important. But it starts with a belief. A belief is just a thought we keep thinking. Believe you are beautiful. Believe you are enough. It's not about anyone. It's only about you. So, beauties, embrace the beautiful perfect imperfections you have. And know the true essence of your beauty is from within.
