trying to remember when i first started to actually care about recovering is hard, because i think i spent a long time hiding it from myself.

consciously, i dont think i started caring until that night at the bar when husk directly asked if i wanted to fuck up all my progress. which made me realize that no, no i didnt.

subconsciously, i think it was when pentious moved in and i saw how excited everyone was over the progress he was making. and i wished that people could do that for me, too.

i was so stuck in the cycle id found my only comfort and safety in, with the drugs and alcohol and the sex life, trying to actually "be better" sounded so dumb to me. why would i ever want to give up all of that?

but then i actually SAW what "being better" would give me, and the answer was a family.

eh thats enough of my pathetic ramblings for now. charlie, i have no idea why you ever let someone like me into your hotel, but. im glad that you did. because you changed my life both back then and now.

The hellaverse haters are so funny. I mean, I am critical of my own sources, so I understand why they are pissed at inconsistent writing and some of the inexcusable actions portrayed in the shows. Believe me, I get it. I am pissed too. The thing is, they hate us because they didn’t expect us to be flawed... well, let me tell you something, everyone in Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel (except very few characters such as Fat Nuggets) has done questionable shit. Don’t tell me you have never done questionable things yourself. Not to mention, a whole lot of us don’t like nor support Vivziepop. Plus, we are not our source material, you know, even if our memories are close to canon (or if we were worse—), we are different now, and we are our own people. I am certain the kin gods gave some of us got another chance at life for a reason. I don’t need to see comments of random people saying that me pushing boundaries was not okay because I am the first person to say that it was messed up (mind you, it doesn’t mean I deserved what happened to me just like other people didn’t deserve that). I may not be fond of some characters from my source, but I am in no position to judge anybody from the hellaverse. Anyway, just let us learn from our past to become better people in the future, dang it.

As a trans man, I used to hate how otherkin used the word 'dysphoria' to describe their discomfort with their current bodies, but now I totally get it! Now all I want is my multiple arms and chest fluff back.

I don't really see many people talking about fictionkin dysphoria and there isn't a whole lot I can do about mine without cosplay. Maybe one day.

I kin Angel Dust from Hazbin Hotel and it's so strange that in this life, our partner is a system who has a Valentino fictive, and I'm falling for him. It's like I'm making the same mistakes no matter the life, but now, in this one, this mistake doesn't have consequences. This Val is nothing like canon, he's sweet, kind, and caring, and he's so cute! He squeaks! I know for sure that he would never hurt me, he cares about me. He makes me feel safe and loved, and I feel so stupid for it. I feel like I should be avoiding any Valentino at all costs, I mean, if I found the Val from my canon, I would avoid him like the plague, but.. I don't know where I'm going with this. I just feel so weird for falling for him.
