I'm Back

So I've been gone from Tumblr for a minute! Guess what? I'M BAAACKK. Did you miss me my #Luvlies? So, a lot has happened since I last posted. I have a new diagnosis of Lupus! Yea! I mean I know it's weird to be excited about a new diagnosis but it's confirmation I wasn't tripping. So I'm happy for that. Now I have to incorporate its needs into the other illnesses. Let me recap. I'm managing Type 1 Diabetes, Intermittent Gastroparesis, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), Ocular Migraines, Diabetic Neuropathy, Stage 3 Kidney Disease, Lupus ( SLE), History of Stroke (Basal Ganglia 2x), High Cholesterol, High Blood Pressure & Acid Reflux. These are the actual diagnosis but the way the side effects and symptoms affect your body is a whole different story. Totally different. You think it would be as simple as fixing the issue itself. Although that is the objective, the side effects of the meds and the medications interacting brings a whole other set of symptoms. So I'm left trying to manage everything on top of managing my life. Or better yet, trying to build a life in spite of all the behind the scenes juggling. All of these things cause physical and mental changes whether temporary or permanent, affecting my personality and mood. I'm really gonna make a chart or list of all the things I feel and have to manage related to each ailment. Just to give a visual insight into my life. Anyway I'm ranting. Just wanted to share there's a new crew member on board 🤣. Be well, be blessed and keep fighting my #Luvlies!

So, I've been in the ED once a week in the past three. I'm here again now. Oddly enough they never find a reason for my symptoms. I know this is just the enemy messing with me. However the victory is mine! I ask for prayers my #Luvlies. I also rebuke any negative energy from the enemy wishing me ill. God is my healer and protector. Satan can keep right on trying but you have no power here! Thanks my #Luvlies! 3 times in 3 weeks is better than 3x every week!! So hallelujah and to God be the glory! #DocDay3 at my mobile #MRI appt. This is kinda cool! I used to work for ARC so I know about mobile blood drives, and I've seen the Rex Mobile Mammogram Bus, but this is cool! Even has a lil lift elevator to get you up to the trailer thingy! lol ... I gotta say God is great, I literally could not hold my eyes open this morning, every muscle and bone in my body was aching beyond my threshold. All I could do was moan and rock. I managed to get in the shower, it helped a little. Plus, my key came right on out the ignition on the 1st try HALLELUJAH didn’t have to play with it for 30min. Lol Infact yesterday evening when I came back from grocery shopping, I could not get it out...a police truck stopped infront of my house and #MommaB asked for help. It was a male/female team. The guy got it out after 10min lol #MommaB and I hugged him. I think that's the 1st time I ever hugged a police officer 🤗 Well once done here headed to the other side of the hospital to turn in the heart monitor. Then home! I think Imma try to write/record today. I have much to say! #DocDay2 #UNCNuclearMedicine #GP #ChronicInvisibleIllness here for my Gastric Emptying Study. It can take up to 4hrs. I eat radioactive eggs and they take pictures every 15, 20, 30 minutes for the first 2 hours. Then once an hour after that. The purpose of this test is to reassess the severity of the Gastroparesis. To see how fast or slow I digest food, therefore giving a better idea to my Doctors on treatments and such. If I can take video of the screen I will! If not I'll try pictures!
