Mods look!
I had NO IDEA you could get SSR perfumes in the Sam Lotto!!!
Maybe everyone else knew, but I didn't and fully flipped
;__; everything really is In Stock
Yo,
Congratulations! There's an extremely rare chance, but you can get SSR Perfumes. They're actually the rarest item you can get there, with just a 0.05% drop rate. You can check out the screen below for the rates, which can be accessed from in-game too, of course.

I apologize if this has been asked before but does Rollo also have a special guest room gift?
Yo,
Rollo has no special gift items for the guest rooms, like the protein bar for Jack or the apple juice for Epel. This also applies for other special characters like Crowley and Crewel, at the time of writing. You're going to load up on stickers if you want to raise his friendship level.
You could also invite him, but since there is no way to have dorm points for special characters too, you could at best have an excellent room for his themes but get a "Good" if the 50/50 of the invite picks dorm points. He's not very friendly, is he? Then again, we don't really have many friendly students in Night Raven too...

I keep seeing people (who otherwise know what they're talking about re: gameplay) say that cosmic attacks do 1.1x damage. Nothing in the game or the official site mentions this afaict, and your blog says there's no benefit to using cosmic against cosmic. Is that information out of date, or are these people mistaken?
Yo,
It's true that in-game or in official sources there's no mention of cosmic magic dealing higher damage. However, recent damage calculations seem to prove that it's true, there is a very slight damage increase in comparison to other elements. This would be a factor probably just in cosmic basic or attack tests, where you wouldn't have the advantage anyways. Note how the very high scoring cosmic basic overkillers have cosmic DUOs as well (namely, Boa Epel and Playful Kalim).

What are the chances of dodging with evasion buffs? How do they stack? Was thinking of getting sebeks birthday card for spell 3 so he has 2 evade buffs and was wondering how reliable it would be to use both at the same time
Yo,
the chance of dodging with evasion buffs depend on the modifier of the spell. For instance, Birthday Lilia's M1 has a Small/Minor evasion, which is 15% chance of dodging (refer to this post for more details).
If we assume the same modifiers as, say, ATK/Pow buffs are in play, then a Medium/Modest evasion would result in a 35% chance of evasion, and a Large/Major evasion would be 50%.
Of course, you can stack the buffs together just like you could stack other buffs, and they will be additive. One of the reasons Broom Sebek is a very strong card is because you can stack his evasion buffs on M1 and M3, making him have 15%+35%=50% chance of avoiding attacks! He's a nimble one alright.

Hi, I’m playing the EN version of twst and noticed none of my liongarb characters have the option to put their outer robe on in the home screen (that is, there’s no Swap Looks option for any of them). I have Kalim, Lilia, and Vil, and the last two have been groovified. Is this normal? Do they have the option to swap looks in JP?
Yo,
this behavior is normal, the only liongarb card with the swap looks option is the SSR, Leona. The other three characters only have one outfit, similarly to how it works in the White Rabbit event with Deuce and Apple Boa with Epel.

since there will be masquerade event, which SR card do you think is worth leveling up?
Yo,
If you're talking about the Masq SR cards, all of them can be of some use depending on what you need:
- Epel has a minor atk boost for allies, so he would be good for enhancing the DUO magic of someone he duos with, like Dorm Rook. Note that Club Epel also has that effect, so if you were planning on pulling for him it wouldn't be of much use. Also, in basic exams he would automatically be one less DUO since he's an SR, and it would affect your scoring;
- Jamil is a defense card with double elements and damage cut, so he could be very useful in water defense. He's also hp buddy with Ortho, who has lots of good cards for defense exams;
- Sebek has a major curse in his M1, which could come in use in attack or defense exams if you don't want the enemy to heal and prevent you from killing in time. His Malleus HP buddy also means he would combo well with Masq Malleus for defense exams;
- Deuce is probably the least useful of the bunch. He has a modest fire boost for allies, but at the time of writing the only card with a Deuce fire DUO is Bday Leona, a pretty niche card himself.
All in all, like with most of the SRs, they may be useful for you depending on what's your roster. For example I raised only Masq Jamil because he's the only one who would most likely fit in my roster.
Of course, if you're farming for materials in the crafting gauntlet you'll have a better time if you raise the cards you're bringing for bonus drops!

Do you need level 10 spells to clear everything in the game or can I just leave them at 5? I’m not trying to get top scores; I just want to get through events, the main story, etc. without struggling.
Yo,
level 10 spells do help, as well as maxed card levels and buddies, but they are not strictly necessary. You can get by in main story with lower spell levels if you have a good enough team and element synergy. There are some high difficulty events, however, that will require a highly raised roster, like Magical Assault Practice for instance.
When you start having trouble, it's better to stop and try raising your cards. Alchemy lessons will be your everyday training routine.

I seem to have trouble gaining 'dorm points" in the guest room. I have been stuck on 98 for about five months now but no amount of crafting and placing of new Heartslabyul (a dorm whose furniture I have the most of) furniture or decorations does anything. Am I missing something?
Yo,
that looks strange. To gain more dorm points, you should just be able to place multiple furniture of that dorm. For instance, you could just craft ten Heartslabyul Rugs and place all of them at the same time. Each should increase your Heartslabyul dorm points by 7, so that's 70 dorm points just with that.
Make sure that the furniture you're crafting has the Heartslabyul logo on it. You can get a good chunk of points by finishing the interior series (floor, wall, foregrounds).

Hello! Yes I don’t have pulls saved atm so I’m crying. Sebek’s Armour is a card I desperately want but I only have 20 pulls so not risking it. (Sucker for collecting every Malleus’s card so saving up for his bday) I know in JP all the three limited cards - Ortho Cerberus, Lilia General and Sebek Armour had a rerun so I’m pulling for Sebek then. However for the three cards, did they have 3 separate rerun banners or combined one?
Yo,
luckily for you, the three cards are going to have each their own separate banner. They also do not share pity gauge. This means that you can pull for Sebek without the risk of accidentally getting Ortho or Lilia's story cards.
Good luck. Saving is hard!

EN Player! I want to ask that Playful Land’s gauge is shared. I wanted Ace but I don’t have enough pulls yet, I do have pity built on that gauge. I wanted to ask that in the last when all three cards will be showcased at the same time, will they have the same gauge shared? Like if I have 30 pity on Ace’s banner, when the three banners will be showcased together, will my gauge still read 30?
Yo,
The pity gauge will stay the same across all Playful cards banner durations, so you will keep the 30 pulls you spent.
This said, for next time I recommend to pull only if you have enough to guarantee the card you want (in this case, it's 200 pulls).
Good luck!

Hey! Is it worth leveling up M1/M2 past level 7/8 on a defensive card like Dorm Vil?
Yo,
Generally speaking, I always try to max level SSR M2s, as that will make the DUO magic deal strong hits. Even if they're defensive cards, you will need that firepower to kill in higher difficulties battles. Other spells may also be worth leveling depending on the effect. With Dorm Vil specifically, there is no effect change at level 10 of his M1, but there will be a bit of extra damage. Depending on your roster you may want to give that spell a lower priority.
There's also cards with effects like heals, like Dorm Trey M1, that should be maxed with higher priority since the level affects the healed amount.
You can check out other similar asks here and here.

hi! is there any way to predict what type of spell the opponent is gonna use in battles? like when it says “?” for their 1st/2nd spell, or is it just a guessing type of thing/use cosmic magic?
i wanna get a decent score on the current omni exam, but its kinda annoying when i choose the wrong spell and my attack just says “resist”
Yo,
sadly there is no way to surely predict what spell will get picked among the four you can see. You can bet on the most likely element to appear, so if there are three fire spells and one water spell, the most likely to appear is fire, but there's always that 25% chance to have water instead.
You can tap on the small arrow next to the enemy spells to see exactly who will be casting which spell. This does not help you in predicting elements, but it does help with statuses and secondary effects:
Here, we can see that among the possible spells there's also a heal (note the small heart icon next to Jade's spell in the middle). Also, if you know which character casts which effects, you can also know the chances for a status. For instance, in the current cosmic def exam, Jamil casts Freeze and Sebek casts Curse. If you see only Jamil spells on the enemy side, you may try with healing safely (watch out with the regens still, as Freeze could block them too).
Good luck with omni! It's a pain, it will always be regardless of your account's level, sadly. This of course applies to every battle with multiple elements, even future omni exams.

I just got Kalim Playful by soft pity from that free set key. Comparing Kalim Playful and Dorm Malleus Cosmic M2 which one is better? I didn't get a chance to pull Dorm Malleus bcuz I don't have enough gems or I have some other banner plan to pull...or I'm coping he'll jumpscare me soon in the middle of pulling limited banners lol
Yo,
Kalim's DUO magic can deal higher damage than Dorm Malleus because of the 3 turn Pow boost in his first magic. He's actually one of the strongest finishers for cosmic basic, though you will have to make a specific team around him.
Dorm Malleus has a good base Pow, and can potentially land criticals if he buffs himself, but that's not that reliable since it's down to randomness.

Can the tenfold keyset given to EN players be used on any of the Playful Land banners? Or just Cater and Ortho one?
Yo,
You can use the tenfold key in the other banners too, not just in the Ortho&Cater rate up. Remember that we're going to get a second duration of all three banners in late november, so you can choose to use the key in any of those.

I was going through the create shop in the guest room and saw that the halloween costume stands from 2020-2021 weren't there even though they were there last time I checked a few moths ago.. Did they remove them? That'd be sad since I have all the Rs and Srs and I was saving up materials to make all of them :,(((
Yo,
If you're asking about the seven dorm-based Halloween costumes from the Scary Monsters/A Twisted Halloween events, I'm afraid those were not craftable, but rather you could redeem them from the event shop in the rerun of the second event. You'll have to wait for another rerun to get more. For more details, here's our post on the event!
PS: newly hired anemone here! I won't have to wear a lab coat this time, hopefully...

Which dorm furniture gives the most dorm points?
Yo,
The highest dorm points a furniture can give so far is 12, and they are given by dorm-related walls and flooring, as well as statues and some other specific card-related SSR furniture (e.g. Club Jack and Club Deuce's). Walls/Flooring and statues, however, can't really be mass crafted if you need lots of dorm points.
Brooms, large tables, and most card-related SSR furniture (Clubs, Story SSRs, certain event SSRs like Silk Vil and Boa Jamil), give 10 dorm points, which is also a pretty good amount.
