This photo was for an article that would later launch my career in the Australian fashion industry, one month later. Taken in August 2012 for The Age, it was for my first ever article about my debut fashion show; and the teenage fashion designer who will soon be showcasing at Melbourne Spring Fashion Week at the tender age of 15. Three years on and the #AndyTruong label has gone from strength to strength with seasonal shows at @_msfw_ & @vamff, gaining three store locations - including one international, and a loyal following of #andytruonggirls. Working non stop since the first collection, I've made a personal decision to take a small temporary break from the business to focus on my studies and life as an 18 year old. My final collection, Tran-seasonal 2015, will have its final season drop by September for the spring racing season at my Australian stockists, @lamaison_et_la_femme & @swoonlifestyle. But don't worry, I will also continue to take custom made orders for the die hard fanatics out there!! With this Instagram I will still be posting, but just designs I do for uni!
