okay so i promise last chosen post until s5 comes out BUT season 5 character/interaction predictions:

veronica is going to get very close with the other women in jesus' group, particularly mary m because of their similar experiences

yussif will get even more screen time to lead up to the inevitable reveal that he's from arimathea, maybe his father mentioning that they're having a new family tomb made, something along those lines (bc it's obvious at this point. if it isn't him, i'll honestly be very disappointed)

nicodemus!!! my guy!!! we're going to see him again

zee and jesse bonding <3 give me the brothers back pls and ty

we'll get introduced to simon of cyrene, maybe not a whole bunch of scenes, but just enough that we connect with him when he helps carry the cross

ughhhhh shmuel came SO close in s4, but i think he's the one judas is going to go to as he starts getting closer to betraying jesus, which will work so well but be so so painful

okay so my theory for the guard who converts at the foot of the cross used to be gauis, but ofc that's not happening because he's already converted and had his big moment. i am now fully thinking it's going to be julius, the guard who was loyal to gaius and hesitated to arrest him when quintus told him to. we're going to start getting hints towards that for sure. i would say atticus, but i'm just still very suspicious of him.

more of johanna!! she's going to become part of the group as well, maybe she'll be the one who provides the anointing oils for jesus' burial.

i'm also thinking that we're going to get a few more flash-forward scenes, maybe of john in exile, or the apostles separating to go off and teach after jesus leaves them
