There is no cure for depression but the closest you’ll get is an André Rieu concert.
Crowley absolutely took his Angel here and danced the Blue Danube waltz and the Trisch Trasch Polka with him because he got just so excited.

Reasons to love Anthony Hopkins
For his “Composer” music album 🎶
▫️Did you know? 💭 In 2012, Anthony Hopkins released his first music album called “Composer”. This album has 9 tracks, including the most famous one “And the Waltz Goes On”, a waltz he heard for the first time thanks to his wife and André Rieu. “And the Waltz Goes On” was recently used in “Freud’s Last Session” (2023)🫶🏻

The classical infiltration of pop
This a trend that I've been noticing for a while now. One could probably go back to the 90's and early 00's with the huge mainstream success of Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelli (POPERA!) and Andre Rieu (modern Waltz), but has really picked up steam in the past 10 or 15 years, with groups like Il Volo and Il Divo bring opera together with boy band pop, 2cellos and Tina Guo and Apocalyptica doing cello renditions of rock and metal, Lindsey Stirling bringing violin into dubstep and EDM, Black Violin doing the same with hip-hop, and David Garrett mixing classical repetoir with violin rock and metal. And we can't forget the runaway success of the Piano Guys!

one of the most beautiful pieces of music that I have ever heard in my life is Voila by Andre Rieu and sung by Emma Kok. This piece of music is just breathtaking and my new favorite song. For me it sounds like the beauty of old imperial history and just sounds like beauty itself. Thank you for listening to my short speech.

Today at my local amphitheatre I got to see a live performance of Andre Rieu and his orchestra!
I heard Micaëla Oeste for the first time and she was a wonderful soprano!
The ending that she sung in this piece sounded a lot like Think of Me’s Ending and that’s when I realised that she reminded me of christine daae in Phantom, even in looks too 💙
