These two are the cutest couple I have ever seen and they're both amazing artists!

One of them is a videographer and the other one is a photographer and they have the cutest cat!

They're also incredible singers and writers!

These were taken last may, while I was going through a somewhat complicated time, involving my relationship with work and with the people around me, with how I did it and how it made me feel. I wasn’t feeling much like myself, so I went to that place that always centers me: self-portraiture. These were taken a few minutes after I took the ‘grateful’ picture for the project, and I felt renewed and awake, for the first time in a while. I remember calling M out to the balcony and asking her to take our 13763th family portrait with the cat, who is so unbelievably pissed at us for making her pose. We try, but cats. 😂 I sort of forgot I took these until last week, and because I’ve been in a similarly crappy mood all week, I thought I’d share them as a self reminder. Diana and Pedro's wedding was gorgeous, was elegant, was romantic, was everything a videographer could wish for, but above all, it was happy. ☄ Genuinely, enthusiastically happy. Full of freeing laughter, and big smiles, and (finally!) tight hugs, and that sparkle in everyone's eyes that only true happiness can bring. And I am so grateful that I was allowed to capture it!
