Okay, I’ve been asked about these several times, so obviously that warrants a post about it, right?? After my first mission trip to Haiti in 2015, I was inspired to get my cross tattoo. Then @jerusharichardson and I decided to get soul sister cat tats from @sammiestattoostudio this past June. On that first trip to Haiti, we bonded first over our love of cats, second as she rubbed my back while I vomited on the plane. The "Love you always, me" tattoo is in Eddie's actual handwriting from a love letter he wrote me during our Weekend to Remember marriage conference. The letter was so sweet that I actually want to frame it. And lastly, the lightbulb is inspired by Matthew 5:14-16, but especially verse 16: "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." It is a reminder to myself to be a good person, and an icebreaker-ish way for me to talk more about Jesus to others.
