Also, I just wanna go ahead and say that for this, y/n IS a proxy of slenderman.

(ps, this doesn't really apply to my main hcs for Jeff, I just wanted to write some cute lil headcanons yk)

Physical touch

He's not a big fan of it, but he doesn't deny you if you tried to kiss him/ hold his hand or hug him.

Although he doesn't like much psychical touch, he doesn't really mind kisses on the cheek, hands, lips, etc

He prefers you do all the kissing though.

He especially likes when you kiss his scars, and compliment him.

But overall, he likes to be alone with you, you and him, both in your own personal space, but together.

Anything other than that has to grow on him.

You can't just walk up and kiss him on the lips, you have to take baby steps.

He also doesn't want to seem like one of those "cringey couples" that make out in front people.

(BEN may have made fun of you two when he saw you kissing, and it's kinda stayed with jeff ever since)

If you tried to cuddle him, he'd kinda freeze up.

But eventually he'd melt into it, especially if he was the big spoon.

He likes when you do his hair.

He'd let you do anything to his hair, dye it, cut it, braid it, whatever you want.

He loves listening to you laugh as you give him some silly hairstyle.

It soothes him.

If he's had a really hard day, he'll just kinda flop onto you, and stay there for the rest of the day.

Comfort

He's horrible at comforting people

I headcanon that he spent a lot of years away from people in the woods, before moving back into the manor, and the only contact he had with people was with his victims.

So after a while, he sorta forgot how to act around relatively normal people.

He's not the type to ignore you if you're literally broke down crying, but he definitely has that "tough love" mentality.

From his point of view, the world has never been kind to him, so why should he be kind to it?

Someone is rude to you? Kick their ass

Something didn't go your way? Fuck it, it doesn't matter anyway.

Someone hurt you? Be worse to them.

Etc etc

When he's intoxicated, he's 10x worse.

"what are you crying for?"

"don't be a pussy y/n, go blow their fucking brains out."

His reaction honestly depends on what your personality is like.

If you're more "sensitive", I feel like he'd be more gentle with you.

But if you're not, he has absolutely no filter with you.

Protectiveness

He's not very protective, unless he's mad.

Any other day he doesn't really care.

Like if someone flirts with you, he gets annoyed, but he knows he has you practically wrapped around his finger, so he's not really worried about you leaving him.

It's not like he'd let you anyway.

But every now and then, just when he's bored, he likes to cause a scene.

Outings

Unlike EJ, or Jane the killer, he actually likes going out in public with you.

He believes he's beautiful, he doesn't regret what he did to himself at all.

He's proud to show you, and himself off.

He's broke most of the time (he spends his money on his knife collection)

But he loves spoiling you when he can.

If he's flat broke, he doesn't mind robbing a store just to get you something.

Cute things he does

Sometimes he'll just stare at you, not in a creepy way.

But in an admiring way.

He'll never say it out loud, but he genuinely admires you.

You're strong, you're talented, you're caring, and somehow you love someone like him.

He doesn't get why, or how you love him, but you do.

Other times he'll grab you by your waist, and pull you closer to him if you walk past anyone in the manor.

He feels he has to protect you, even though he knows you can handle yourself, he still feels like he has to.

He knows that practically no one there is trustworthy, especially hoodie (he's the king of blackmail).

So he keeps a close eye on you.

The relationship overall

All in all, I'd say Jeff would be an 'okay' boyfriend.

He deals with a lot of stuff mentally, I hc that he deals derealization, so sometimes it can seem like hes "detached"

He often has breakdowns where he just "shuts down" for a few days, he doesn't come out of his room, he doesn't have the energy to do certain things that are an "easy task" for most people.

but if you can support, and love him through that period, or even just be there for him, he'll cherish you forever.

Read.

this one feels obvious but the more you read the better you'll write. reading will expand your vocabulary and the way you choose to word stuff. you'll replace old phrases with ones that are better composed. for instance, i know that a lot of my writing quirks can be directly traced back to john flanagan bc he was such an influential author in my life!

Write.

Every author's advice is to just write all the time, and they aren't wrong. I have been writing fanfiction since I was about twelve years old. i was known in middle school and high school for always carrying a notebook with me, and at just about any downtime, i'd pull it out and jot down a good page of whatever i'm working on (which later became my laptop in college). seriously--writing is just the same as any other art. you have to keep trying.

Read pt 2, Electric Boogaloo

Read out loud. read anything out loud. teachers will recommend this to you to make sure that you don't have typos in your essay, but it's good advice for literally anything. it can be just that--"i don't like how this paragraph works so i'm going to read it aloud to see if there's a more natural way to put it". if you have someone to read to, that's even better--i read the entire lotr trilogy out loud last year to my sister. the most effective way to remember something is to teach it to someone else, which is essentially what you're doing when you read out loud--you're committing those writing quirks/styles that you like to memory.

Try Things

Be experimental! not everything is going to be your style, and that's okay! try writing a genre you're not used to, go for a poem, write the most purple-prose love letter you can and then write an equally dramatic rejection letter! it's okay to have fun while experimenting and looking for what sticks in your style.

Outlines

I will be the first to say that I don't care about outlines whatsoever. literally get out of my face with that. but they can be really helpful and legitimately give you a lot less work to do! for example, i was stuck for actual weeks on the upcoming chapter of the superpowers au. so one day i sat down with a notebook and made a list of everything i wanted to happen before the end of the fic, then split that into chapters--"I want the gang to come up with an infiltration plan. okay, who would come up with it? what would be everyone's roles? I don't want these characters there, what can I do to get rid of them? i want to show more of this, what sort of situation can i come up with that will get my point across as to how bad things really are for him? non-negotiable they have to meet at this place. definitely negotiable this person being there. why wouldn't this person be there?" and so on and so forth. it really helped, which sucked bc i didn't want it to help >:(

Go For Walks

I get most of my planning done away from my bed/desk. it has a legitimate scientific reason for this but idk what it is. something about how moving your body kicks your brain into gear or something. so i'll go on a walk/get in the shower/get up and go do something else and inspiration will hit hard enough that i'll be doing something else entirely while planning out a very specific paragraph in my head down to the word. and then i have to write to get to that paragraph and it always turns out so much better than anything i force while hanging out in my room. last night in the shower the part i was planning was soap opera dramatic like you don't understand and now i actually have the motivation to keep writing so that i get to that part

Rapid Fire Advice

Write silly notes in your margins. don't know how it helps but it does.

Get someone to beta read it who is very excited about what you're writing. they'll usually leave comments about how much they like certain parts intermingled with critique, that way it isn't just criticism.

Be proud of yourself!! you're doing great <3

If you've got writer's block but you're itching with the energy to create, do something about it. i usually put on some music and start cleaning. that gets the movement trigger to get my brain to start working on ideas and bonus! i don't feel unproductive!

Screw MLA or APA or whatever. write how you want to. start sentences with 'and'. refuse to indent that first paragraph. murder

It's a first draft for a reason my dude don't overthink stuff

She was kinda shocked on how welcoming your family was, your mom and dad hugged her out of nowhere and she just let out a squeak.

Your little sister forced her to go to SM mall with her omg- She literally came home with bags of candy.

Yes, Annie has a soft spot for your family, she probably almost spent all her money on them.

Buchi rivals her love for donuts. She looked like she discovered a new universe after eating one of them thangs.

God, help her when she’s watching filipino movies, your family encouraged her to watch movies with them, and by the end of it she was a mess, pretty sure she cried into your shoulder after watching Seven Sundays.

BUT LIKE SHE ENDS UP BEING ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR PARENTS.

You see, Annie is a really fast learner, she was bound to learn to be able to speak some point in her stay.

You were shocked when she spoke back to you in tagalog, like ‘dropped my stuff out of shock’ kinda way. 

IT WAS A PAIN GETTING HER INTO A BARO’T SAYA. But bribing her with Buchis got her to keep it on for like 2 hours so like..good enough.

Reiner Braun

This man was so awkward. He went on a trip with Bertholdt to the Philippines, and met you.

He didn’t think you would understand him, so he just stared at you while you talked with your friends, until you were creeped out enough and asked him if he had a problem.

When you and him started dating, you convinced him to travel all around the country. 

Firstly, you guys visited your family, your dad absolutely loved him, your mom was a little bit hesitant in letting him in the family, he was blonde, big and buff. Filipinos are bound to worry. Until Reiner cooked with her, then she started to warm up to him.

Okay but why did your family’s chickens like him so much??

He likes the feeling of being around your family, him not having a dad left an impact on him and he felt complete being with you and your family, he swore to himself that he’d marry you.

He almost fainted when he found you battling with one of the kids with your pet spider, mf was deathly afraid of your spider, it was like the size of your hand pls-

I think he’d be fairly good at speaking tagalog, he’s got an accent but people can understand him. 

He eats like a tito omg- You lost him at a party once and when you found him, he’s already eaten half of the barbecue. 

Everyone thought he was really old, because of his beard so everyone called him tito Reiner. 

He’s somewhat good with the village kids, you could see Reiner playing soccer with the kids or goofing off.

He says he doesn’t like watching Manny Pacquiao but it’s his guilty pressure.

He doesn’t really listen or watch anything filipino, but he will listen to old filipino bands if you play them in his car.

Bertholdt Hoover

HAHA PLs- you got mad at him for eating your cake and started cursing in filipino. He was confused because he thought you were just blurting out nonsense.

One second you’re explaining what you were saying and the next second y’all are on the way to the Philippines.

He sweats like a waterfall, LITERALLY. Everyone would like move away because he sweated that much.

You had a private island..because y’all were RICH rich. he was kinda awestruck, you literally just said out of nowhere.

He ended up learning guitar while he’s in the Philippines, the country’s filled with people who can sing amazingly, he’s bound to learn guitar.

His favourite filipino song to play is Tadhana, it’s also the only song that he knows to sing to, like he absolutely butchers pronunciation for words but this man covers it up with this song.

Zeke Jaeger

He bumped into you and you cursed at him in tagalog, he basically just fell for you at that point.

I just know your family secretly hates this man, he slapped your ass once around your mom and your dad, it’s always tense when he’s around now.

You don’t have the heart to tell him your parents saw because one afternoon, he was gushing and praising your family, you didn’t want to ruin his happiness, his dad’s barely around and his mom passed away. he’d obviously be attached.

Yes you had to talk to your parents about it, a lot of filipinos are very kinds and forgiving, so your parents were very understanding, and made sure he felt loved around the family.

He actually almost cried when your dad told him to marry you already.

He calls your parents nanay and tatay.

You got him to buy a pet spider please- You would catch him fighting a kid’s spider to the death in a match, he’d feel bad though so he buys them new ones after.

Hey this man looks so hot in a Barong, please. You guys had to book a hotel for a night for some alone time yk.

Lord help this man, he tried to do the tinikling dance and he tripped, in front of everyone.

Every night, he comes to bed all shirtless, you could just hear the air conditioner buzzing as he tells you how fun it was playing with the village kids, or talking about he and your titos had a drink while watching a boxing match.

He more so listens to various artists, he doesn’t have a favourite.

but he will replay Joseph Vincent’s filipino covers.

Pieck Finger

She was on a business trip in the Philippines, and you were coincidentally at the same bar they were celebrating at. You were by the karaoke section and she kinda just, fell in love with you. right there and then.

Honestly some people thought you guys were siblings, Pieck can be mistaken as a filipino easily so, you guys expect it from time to time.

She likes to ask from time to time to teach her guitar, your mom probably has a lot of pictures of you and Pieck.

She loves eating the food in the Philippines, she thinks the adobo is great and if you lose her in public she’s probably by a street vendor eating food.

You guys dance to old filipino songs, a replaying song for you guys is Mabagal by Daniel Padillia and Moira Dela Torre.

She learnt Moira’s Part while you had Daniel’s part. 

GUys she looks so beautiful in a Baro’t Saya. And she knows it, she flaunts it so well.

UGh honestly he’s a little cringey when it comes to the culture, for some reason I can see him accidentally disrespecting it somehow, I can’t help it.

Your family owned a sari-sari store, and he could not help for the love of him, he ended up being the one stocking it up while you chatted with the customers. 

Like Pieck, he and you dance when you’re alone, he probably learnt from Pieck too.

Hello, tumblr.

So we meet again...

I believe this is my seventh tumblr account, most of which were created before the age of 16. Not this one. This is my brand new account with my fairly brand new email.

I've been wanting a way to document my life for myself that's not just me journaling on my google docs. I guess I'm more likely to turn to an app to rant than to pull out my laptop and open my journal google doc.

So yes, I am here for me, but I am hoping that maybe I can make some friends along the way. I had started a tumblr attached to the same email as some of my old ones, but it didn't feel right. Whenever I opened my dashboard, I was bombarded with things that represented my teenage self. I wasn't that person anymore. I am not that person anymore... and yet I am...

I am also hoping that this can be an outlet that I use to try and make sense of the world, spark conversation, or help someone else figure out their place or beliefs. I like to think I'm spiritual because I care about being a good person and I do it in a way that acknowledges that there is more to me than this physical body.

I want to use this as a reflection of myself. I want to look into her and see them stare back.

Although sitting here, I think about all the ways that that could end up not happening. I can see myself perhaps being in the wrong in a situation and not acknowledging it. I don't know for what, because normally when I'm in the wrong I don't realize it until days later and so I don't have many examples of times when I do know I'm in the wrong in the moment.

But if I lie in any blog post, anyone who stumbles across it would not know. This is one way I could hold myself accountable.

Having tangible evidence of my current self, which will later become cringey as all hell.

I don't think I am making any sense any more. I'm a little stoned- probably a lotta stoned- and letting myself just think theoretical thoughts. That can be fun, but if I am not writing out every single thought connection, then I will not be making sense.

I have been studying tarot on and off for two years now, although my primary use of it has been for self reflection and growth. Only recently have I started trying to read for friends.

In my free time, I like to walk for an hour at the gym. My favorite form of exercise is pole dancing.

I live with my legal guardian since I was 3, I am working towards government assistance to leave with a place to go.

My favorite game is minecraft. Second favorite is snake.

If it makes you feel better I have done lots of embarrassing stuff in my life. For example- I used to play cricket alone in my room with a plastic bat and the smiley ball. And I pretended that I scored a six on every ball. So yeah. That was loneliness.

In case you didn't know. The premise is - The Rose family is a filthy rich family. Their accountant screws them out of all their money. So they have to relocate to a suburban town which Johnny Rose(the father) had bought as a joke. You can buy towns in USA. That was my reaction. It starts off as fish out of water comedy but it is so much more. You'll love it.

Oh my god, Black Widow. I feel like I have said this a 100 times by now. They should have made her movie i. 2014-16 when her popularity was at the peak. Or even before Endgame, so that her death felt more meaningful. Or just not make the movie that they made. They could have made a movie about the explanation they gave for Budapest. The thing is, I don't expect Marvel to surprise me, like I don't expect their plots to be Inception level complicated (which I found out 2 months ago, completely ripped off a Japanese animated movie). But at least entertain to kar do. It felt like they didn't even try. Like when they try, they actually make good movies. Shang Chi is so good.

I don't particularly hate Lover. It has some songs that I love. Paper Rings, London Boy, Cruel Summer was great. But other than that. It felt a little a pale in comparison to Reputation. Given that she followed it with Folklore. That didn't help.
