#a thinkpiece will start with ‘cancer has affected our family for generations’ and my first question is#have you ever considered to stop. ya know. the bloodline.#idk i just can’t imagine bringing a person into this world knowing they might struggle not just with the difficulties of being alive as is#but with heightened health concerns - physical and mental#and yes I did take that quote verbatim#really not my place to say anything I guess but I’m entering that age where people are asking about kids#and the silent judgement that goes with me saying no I don’t plan on it#because it’s seen as ‘selfish’#and yet people are out here knowingly passing on life threatening health issues
