Props to Poetry Foundation for selecting the entirety of Howl as today’s poem of the day, that would have made my teenage self so happy.
#& now Denver is lonesome for her heroes#I used to have a good chunk of howl including the entirety of part III memorized#and yes that is why my poetry tag is 'with you in rockland'#going back to a piece of art that meant a lot to you at a different time in your life is such strange nostalgia#and always makes me wonder what works of art that I love now will fade into the background and which will be eternal
