the sims team is making us sophies choice 2 of 4 kits that actually look good meanwhile they shat out stuff like Basement Kit

CONCEPTUALLY.#ik theres a lot of players that like to rp Olden Times which is funny bc its like#the only sims game that FORCES you to be modern#the future kit also LOOKS cool but it dampens my hopes for an into the future esque pack :(#thats one of my fave ts3 packs </3 and ik obviously its a different game#but man. was hoping for a spiritual successor !#anyway. i think im voting for goth and medieval#which sounds so unlike me but. we do have a lot of colourful stuff in the game already!#and yeah a lot of clothes have black swatches but not a lot of goth or ANY alt influences#even the werewolf pack (lol) geared mostly towards the cottagecore side!#most of the gothic (using it SUPER lightly) stuff came with magic and vampires and. as fairly early game packs:#a lot of the cas stuff was NOT cute!#(i was also hoping for some goth stuff in paranormal but its themed more around like. tourist traps and the people whod run them#if that makes sense)#and as for the build pack. im voting medieval bc i like to have my sims live off the grid w the simple lifestyle#and theres this fun mod that adds a bunch of cooking stuff mostly inspired by medieval life#so i only get to use like half of it#but i might actually rp a medieval sim. give it a shot!#anyway. this has been a long ramble just bc i enjoy saying words
