All that glitters

He's sure it looks very pretty. Gentle waves ruffling the surface of the bay. Each strand of grass on the dunes lined in rainbowed drops of dew. Dawn sun painting the sky pink. And there's the problem: dawn. It’s far too early to have to deal with all these stray rays of light stabbing through his eyes.

But.

Sunbeams flash off gleaming metal as Bucky turns to face him. Shade and golden light paint bold patterns across his features. His eyes are bright. Smile, soft and peaceful. The sight is blinding.

Perhaps he could learn to like mornings after all.
