the scene where kevin finds out about the district change is endlessly fascinating to me
#my posts#my aftg posts#liveblogging aftg#aftg#it says so much that youre likely to gloss over bc of how early it happens#wymack and kevin's interaction in this situation has such an interesting flavour#and wymack seems to understand things some readers still don't despite kevin not talking about his time at evermore#like how even kevin wasn't seen as human to them#how his left hand wasn't the first time they hurt him#how he /wasn't raised/ to have anything but exy#of course kevin's dialogue also tells us a lot#then there's how it changes neil's perspective of kevin at least a little#and quite literally convinces him to stick around despite how dangerous it is#its just such a good scene that you probably won't appreciate until your fifth reread eh
