Everyone was annoying me bc I was annoying them by making them do things for my patient but it’s okay bc the orientee I was filling in as preceptor for said I’m kind of a badass

#lab was snippy micu was super snippy #cards was too but she got over it #like sorry I know it’s not the sickest patient on the unit but he has downgrade orders and multiple issues #and if the floor received him with a Bp of 73/50s poor urine output declining mental status cold and drenched in sweat #and with an untreated pericardial effusion. they’d call a rapid then mismanage for a while until finally calling micu #my patient’s breathing got way better after a few hours of bipap even though micu was mad about it….#left him on low dose pressors and awaiting Ct surgical consult. improving mentation and urine output. sorry I didn’t let him crash first
