be safe be good is such an eddie song it makes me sick
#him doing everything right and still dying violently and unnecessarily#and yes one of the main points of rtc is that dying abruptly/at a young age doesn’t discredit what you did when you were alive#and while i agree with that there’s smth just so gut wrenching about eddie never having the self confidence or willpower to do anything#other than what he’s been told is the safe and good route for the vast majority of his life#and when he finally does reunite with the people who make him feel like he doesn’t need to take that route it gets violently ripped away#from him and he gets ripped away from the people that love him unconditionally#eddie kaspbrak#rtc#ride the cyclone
