Pairing: Reader x Hwang Hyunjin

Warning: I kinda mention the rumour

A/N: Hiyaaa, I've been in the Stray Kids fandom since the beginning and this is my first time writing a scenario for them. Also THIS WAS REALLY LENGTHY for a first time. I hope you guys enjoy. I was also inspired by @changbeanie Also anyone wanna become friends. LOL

*Alarm beeps at 7:00*

"Ughh" you groaned as you rolled over your bed to shut off your phone. "Great another day in hell" you thought. As you got up you took a look at your appearance and realized that your eye bag game was strong. This was why you hated school, teachers either give out too much homework or a big ass project to complete and usually when you are put into a group project, you end up doing most of the work. Sighing, you changed into your school uniform and brushed out your bangs and hair. It was 7:40 when you grabbed your backpack and a cereal bar before leaving the house.

On your way to school,you were casually scrolling through some top quality meMES when y/f/n screamed out y/n. You looked up and by the time she caught up to you, you guys were in front of SK High School.

As you tried to keep your eyes open for the last 4 hours, the bell finally rang, signaling lunch time. As you made your way to the lunch room and sat down at the usual table with y/f/n, you felt someone's eyes piercing the back of your head. You turned around swiftly and Hwang Hyunjin was glaring at you. Annoyed you turned back around and chopped on your sandwich rather unpleasantly. Great, Hwang Hyunjin is glaring at me like I did something bad to him you thought to yourself. You've heard rumours about him being a hot, but cold hearted guy and since you didn't want to ruin your mood you turned back around. But little did you know, the minute you turned around, he asked his friends frantically if he was too obvious. Jisung laughed at him and said "Bro, you were glaring at her. If you like her, why dont you drop your reputation as the ice popular guy." Hyunjin was lost in thought as he thought about Jisung's words.

As the bell rang, you threw your lunch away, bid y/f/n goodbye, said to meet after school at the convenience store around the corner like usual, and dragged your feet to math class. Ughhh, you mentally groaned as you slumped into your seat. Math, the subject you were slightly below average at, it wasn't like you didn't understand it, you did, but it was just too much work to go from one formula to another. You also had the class with Hyunjin, making you groan even more. You had an okay grade in that class, but you could do much better if you weren't so lazy. As you looked up, Hyunjin smirked at you as he strolled past you with his group of fangirls walking behind him. In the process, he knocked over your notebook and didn't even pick it up. More annoyed, you shouted at him to pick it up and he just looked at you. Before you could say another word, one of his fangirls laughed at you and said how pathetic you were, talking to a guy that's way out of your league. You scoffed and rolled your eyes, trying not to create any drama, you picked up your notebook and sat back down in your seat, ignoring the attention you've swarmed.

As the last bell rang, you basically sprinted out of class before Hyunjin could stop you. Why did you rush out? Well, just to get away from school. As you were putting stuff away into your locker, you felt a presence beside it and assumed it was your friend. You said "Hey biotch, let's not go to the convenience store today, I'm a bit tired, so I'm just gonna go home." But as you closed your locker, Hyunjin was standing next to it and you saw your friend at the corner of your eye saying bye to you and that she was going to go home instead.

Looking back at Hyunjin, you asked him what he wanted and he said "you". You were mentally SHOOK at what he said because he looked so serious. You tried to think of other words that he could've said instead of "you" like "shoe" "boo" "moo?!" Okay, you were definitely losing your mind. And all that time, you were freaking out, Hyunjin was worrying because he didn't mean to say "you". So when you regained your composure, you asked him "what?" And he laughed thinking that you were cute while saying "I asked you for help with a math problem but you said "shoe, boo, moo." You didn't realize why you thought he said "you" but you noticed that when he laughed, he looked pure and soft, in contrast to his cold hearted image. Smacking yourself mentally, you yelled at yourself for thinking about Hyunjin. The guy that IS HEARTLESS.

Noticing that you were spacing out, Hyunjin cleared his throat and asked if you could help him and lucky for him, the material that he was "struggling" with was one of the things you knew very well in math. What a shocker.

Anyways you were skeptical of him asking you, but your thoughts were soon disrupted when he saw your hesitant face and said that he'll buy you a dessert and a drink at the coffee place across from the convenience store. AND BOY, did he reach out to your heart. Free food was always the best, so you agreed.

10 minutes later, you arrived to the coffee shop with Hyunjin and as you guys arrived to the counter, the barista was trying to fix herself up and gave Hyunjin the biggest eyes ever. You felt that Hyunjin was bothered by the attention, but your stomach was bothering you more, so you tried to get the girls attention, but she didn't even look at you. Hyunjin looked at you for help, but you weren't having it unless he bought you two desserts and he agreed. So you pulled out your "IMMA BEAT YO ASS IF YOU LOOK AT MY BOYFRIEND AGAIN" card. Just kidding, you pulled HYUNJIN closer to you making sure the barista saw and tugged him down, slightly pecking his cheek. He blushed at the encounter and widened his eyes as he saw the barista clearing her throat and asking what you guys wanted.

Victoriously, you ordered a cookies and cream cheesecake and a mint chocolate chip cookie with a caramel macchiato and Hyunjin ordered the house coffee. As you guys made your way to the table with the desserts and drinks, you layed out your materials and asked Hyunjin what he was struggling on and after saying "everything." You helped him for about 30 minutes making jokes in between to make sure your brains weren't fried and surprisingly he understood everything very quickly, so you guys finished very quickly and just started chatting about anything. The more you talked to Hyunjin, the more you realized he wasn't as bad as what you've heard about him. As it was getting pretty late, you told Hyunjin you had to go, but he stopped you, looking very red and nervous. You were concerned so you asked him what was wrong, and he was just a stuttering mess. A few minutes later, he regained his composure and said very quickly, "y/nIreallylikeyouandIhadforalongtimeandIwaswonderingifyouwanttobemygirlfriend" You laughed at him, telling him to slow down and he said once again, but slowly "y/n I really like you and I had for a long time and I was wondering if you want to be my girlfriend" Slowly processing his words, you were beyond SHOOK, but you couldn't give him an answer because you were confused with your own feelings. You liked hanging out with him, but he was always being chased by girls and so you didn't know what to tell him. So you told him that you'll give him an answer tomorrow. With that you were about to part home when he offered to walk you home. You tried to tell him it was okay, but he insisted and said that there is no way he was going to let a pretty girl like you walk home alone when it was already dark outside. Lucky for you, he couldn't see the blush forming on your face.

So as you guys made your way to your house, the atmosphere was comforting and not awkward despite Hyunjin's confession earlier. As you made your way to your house, you didn't want to bid Hyunjin goodbye, but suddenly, he took your hand traced his fingers around your palm, said that he'll be waiting for an answer tomorrow and left. Before you were beyond confused with your own feelings, but after this happened you were surely aware of your own feelings for him. As you opened you palm, you didn't realize the small crumpled paper in your hand, you opened it up and there was a note written on it saying

You entered your house and threw yourself onto bed and texted him to make sure he got home safely.

Surprisingly, he was very easy to talk to and you talked for hours with him until you got tired. Telling him goodnight, you turned off your phone and went to sleep.

You woke up and did your usual routine before heading off to school. On your way, you saw Hyunjin at the gate and he wanted to say hi, but you saw his fangirls and ignored him and knew that they were going to hunt you down if they saw the interaction between you and him.

As you made your way to first period, one of Hyunjin's fangirls came up to you and started telling you to back off of Hyunjin because she saw you acting all lovey dovey with Hyunjin at the coffee shop yesterday. You told her, "You dont have the right to claim somebody as yours without their consent" and she just started belittling you saying, "Hmmp, yea right, says the ugly duckling with cheap clothing, no wonder Hyunjin hung out with you, he was just pitying you." At that moment, you were hurt and wanted nothing more than to go home and cry, but you couldn't because school only started and you wanted to maintain good grades. So, for the rest of the day, you hid from Hyunjin and his fangirls

As you entered math class, you ignored Hyunjin trying to get your attention and as soon as the bell rang, signaling the end of the day, you rushed out of class like you did the day before, but for a completely different reason; to run away from Hyunjin

You hurriedly put your things in your locker and felt a presence beside you, you closed your locker and locked eyes with Hyunjin. You looked away and tried to leave, but Hyunjin grabbed your wrist and spun you around so that you would look at him and upon seeing your puffy, red-stained face, his face softened and he pulled you into a hug. You wanted to get away from him, but he wouldn't let you.

After calming down, he asked you what was wrong and you just say, "Maybe we shouldn't be friends at all" and Hyunjin was completely heartbroken hearing those words. He told you he couldn't be just friends because he wanted to be more than that, but you said that "I can't handle ruining your reputation or the rumours spreading about me " and Hyunjin slowly lifted your head that dropped down to look at your shoes and he looked at you straight in the eyes and said "y/n I'm willing to drop my reputation and everything else for you and don't listen to rumours because they will hurt you a lot. I've been through the same thing and so what, if they make rumours, allow them to because "its all good, we'll grow going through them, [so] don't cry." You smiled through your sniffs and told him, "That was very cringy, but heartwarming and I think I have an answer to your confession from yesterday" and Hyunjin was all happy and told you to tell him already and you only told him to lean down and as he leaned down you gave him a soft gentle kiss on the lips. You pulled apart first which made Hyunjin all pouty, but you said that he will have to buy you desserts if he wanted more and he said, "How about we go right now." So you guys walked hand in hand to the coffee shop, ignoring the rumors that were trying to interfere your happiness. ♡

A/N THIS WAS KINDA BAD AND I SHOULDVE BEEN DOING HW BUT WHATEVER. PROTECT THIS BBY AT ALL COSTS. IM SO SOFT FOR HYUNJIN NOW.
