I'm sort of eh on movie/TV show adaptations a lot of the time bc they rarely live up to my standards, but I do think that the Great Cities duology could be extremely fucking cool to watch if adapted with whatever mindset Sense8 was created with.

#the on location filming of gorgeous cityscapes #the incorporation of well known music/collective singing at crucial moments of conflict and emotion #the detail put into the characters and the love that spills out of all their relationships #the care put into the depiction of and prioritization of queer characters/characters of color #the way this show LOVES CITIES/COUNTRIES like its about the people but also at the crux of it is like #these people are informed by their family and upbringing and who they choose to make important in their life and also WHERE THEYRE FROM #and we will display the importance of this by incorporating SWEEPING GORGEOUS CITYSCAPES AT EVERY POSSIBLE OPPORTUNITY #idk i just feel like theres a resonance at the heart of these two series #and i also think it would be extremely fucking cool to see new york from all these different specific perspectives #and then have cameos of the other cities etcetc #it would be cheaper travel wise bc u would mostly just have to film in ny #but then. u do have to account for alien tentacle monster special effects #so theres that.
