I think you're missing the main point alkyrion
People would be way healthier if we had more ways to exercise that are fun by themselves. The discouragement of play post a certain age has a negative impact on not only psychological but also physical health.
Your second response hints imo toward an alienation from the idea that "I shouldn't need outside factors(in this case music) to enjoy physical exercise, maybe we should make more ways to exercise that are actually fun, so more people exercise and become/stay healthy in a time where more people than ever don't get enough exercise"
Exercise should double as enrichment but all of that has been stripped away to streamline the exercise process.
