My main groups

Oh boy. Thanks for the ask, I’ll try to go as in-depth as possible. Get ready for me to just fucking gush.

So I have two main groups: VIXX and BTS.

Please read below the break because this is long as hell. This is also a repost as Tumblr is a dumb dumb.

VIXX:

Voice, Visuals, Values in Excelsis (I know doesn’t make sense but that’s what the boys names themselves). They are the Concept Kings for a reason: Space Vampires, Voodoo Dolls, Cyborgs/Androids, Time, the Greek God trilogy, Perfumes, Duality (Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde) and so many others.

I consider myself to be a STARLIGHT in terms of kpop first before anything else other than just enjoying all of it. VIXX will always be my number one group because they helped me out of a really dark place in my life and because of that, I can’t really replace them with anyone else. With that being said, I look at them as if they are my older brothers, which makes looking at them in a sexual way almost impossible for me (despite one of the fancams later, I just think that fancam is so interesting). So I am very, very soft towards them. I almost cried at a concert for Ravi because I was so moved at being able to meet someone I very much look up to.

So even though I was technically introduced to kpop via either BigBang (with Fantastic Baby) or BTS (with DNA), it wasn’t until VIXX that I really got into them.

My first song with VIXX was Error. I had never seen anything like Error before and it fascinated me, I was really hooked by that video. My sister and I watched that video about… 20 times in a row. And I never looked back.

My bias is Ravi. For those who don’t: he is the Rapper of the group as well as one of the main dancers. He has a deep ass voice, he looks rather scary, but he is probably one of the purest human beings on the planet. He’s a workaholic, he’s the best dog dad, he’s a shy, sweet mess (he’s best friends with Jimin of BTS and Kai of EXO, if that don’t explain much, nothing will). I saw him in concert this past May and it was just… I was in awe. He’s very down to earth and tall as fuuuuuuuuck (all of them are, the shortest is 5′11). He recently left Jellyfish Entertainment (Jelpi) to start his own production agency, GROOVL1N. The most fascinating thing about this for me is that he left on good terms with Jelpi and is still part of VIXX. No entertainment company is perfect, but I think is pretty damn close. They give their artists artistic freedom, they protect their privacy fiercely (STARLIGHTS not particularly invasive, but no one really knows anything about their private lives), and they don’t force their artists to do things that would be bad for them (I can’t find the footage, but there have been instances where instead of telling Leo not to eat, they try to make him eat, I’ll talk about that more later). What Jelpi lacks is promoting and caring about international fans. I’m pretty sure that’s why Ravi left because even though they are on good terms, that is what Jelpi lacks and Ravi really makes the international STARLIGHTS (I mean they all do, but Ravi especially) feel like they are loved.

Favorite song is kinda hard. For Title Tracks, G.R.8.U., On and On, and Fantasy are definitely tied for first place. For non-title tracks, Trigger and Light Me Up (little bit of a cheat, this is one of my favorite performances and this the Rock version) fuck me up and get me hyped. My favorite Japanese Track is Depend on Me which is basically the exact opposite of Chained Up. Because they love their STARLIGHTS so much, they have a song dedicated to us on each album, so my favorite STARLIGHT song is Milky Way.

My bias wrecker (lord help me) is Hyuk. Hyuk is the maknae of the group. He started out of the pipsqueak of the group and now dominates his hyung. He clocks in at about 6′4 and is a fucking wall. He looks like a Samoyed. He’s got a lovely voice. He sounds like Onew of SHINee. He’s incredibly manly and is weird AF. He recently made his solo debut this last winter with the ballad, Boy with a Star.

So my favorite Era was… the Conception Era. This is sort of a cheat as it encompasses a concept trilogy. It’s based on three greek gods of masculine traits which tell a love story conceptually: Zelos (god of rivalry, zeal, and jealousy) with Dynamite, Hades (god of wealth, the afterlife, and desire) Fantasy, which I think is a retelling of the Orpheus myth, and finally Kratos (god of strength and rule) with the Closer. It’s just a beautiful interconnected era.

Little tidbits otherwise, I’ll never get to BTS:

Hongbin is my icon. He’s the visual of the group, the sub rapper, he’s a gamer (has his own twitch, don’t know how to get to it since I don’t have twitch), and he’s probably the most under appreciated. Enjoy his Cool Love collab with Hyungwon of Monsta X.

N, Mr. Cha Hakyeon, is the leader of the group and he’s your favorite whether or not you believe it to be. He is currently doing his military service. We all though we would not see or hear from while he’s doing his service… I see his face everyday on my dash and I love his egg head. He was in the Children of Nobody and he’s an amazing dancer.

Ken is the would be maknae of the group and I would say that’s he’s got not only the best voice in the group, but also the best eyebrows. He’s all about acting cutesy. He is a stage actor and is absolutely amazing. I want to see one of his plays one of these days.

Now, before you come for me with your pitchforks, I love all of them, just some of them piss me off more than others, but I wouldn’t get this mad if I didn’t care. Leo pisses me the hell off. He needs someone to take care of him because he’s sacrificing his mental and physical health to satisfy people who don’t actually care about him. At roughly 6 feet tall, he weighs between 130 to 145 pounds. He’s talked about some behavior that is incredibly unhealthy and it breaks my heart (he talked about how he once binge ate then worked out until he practically passed out). He’s talked about how he’s absolutely drained after a practice for his solo and… his choreography is incredibly simple. I hate that he feels like he has to be impossibly skinny for people to love him.

Moving on from the angry stuff, VIXX is one of the nation’s prides. The president of Korea is a known fan of VIXX and the last time I checked, N is STILL one of the promotional images on the president’s website.

BTS:

I’m going to be a little more brief with BTS, since the majority of people know them.

So as mentioned before my first song with BTS is DNA. It didn’t leave a big impression on me. It was simply something I’d play in the background while I was finishing up work for the evening at my old job. Dope is the song that really pulled me in. I don’t know what it is about it, but it just really pulled me in.

I am *sigh* double biased, something that @ropeseok​ has made me come to terms with. My ideal is Namjoon. I really like his voice, I think he’s adorable with his hard exterior and ooeygooey center. It also helps that he’s, well, kinda like me in that he’s a brain. My other bias is Taehyung. He is probably the more realistic type of person to me. I like the idea of Namjoon. But Tae… Tae is more of the person that I need. He’s very touchy, he’s emotional, he’s true, he’s sweet, a bit child like, he’s very intelligent, but keeps it on the down low. If that makes sense.

My favorite title track is Boy in Luv. I can listen to it forever. For non-title tracks it would be First Love, Magic Shop, and Persona. My favorite Japanese Track is Crystal Snow.

Since Tae had been my bias wrecker for a while, I don’t really think I have one BUT because of someone’s influence… probably Jin. Fine, I’ll admit it, I’m a Kim line heaux.

My favorite era…. it really depends on each boy. Like for Namjoon, I love the Danger and Not Today eras. For Jin, it would have to be, ironically enough, anytime of the early eras cuz he looks lovely as hell with eyeliner and I just think he’s got this hidden bad boy energy that was able to come out during this time. For Yoongi is would be MIC DROP. He was in his fucking element. Plain and simple. For Hoseok, it was Blood, Sweat, and Tears, BST was probably one of their best eras overall, but Hoseok just fucking made it his bitch. For Jimin it was BST as well but also any of the early eras. Like Jin, he’s got this hidden ferocity that I feel like is being kept hidden behind a closely guarded wall. I also just like his hair black and when he wasn’t necessarily starving himself. For Tae… Fake Love. I think he really found his element with the ballads like Singularity and darker themes, especially now that he’s all grown up and doesn’t look like a child. For Jungkook… Dope. There was something about the uniform and the energy that really just fit him.

I’m not going to do favorite famcams as the moment I start collecting videos, I’m going to be overwhelmed with different versions and this is already ridiculously long.

Tidbits:

I really like their darker works. I really wish they’d go back to those.

I don’t want anymore collaborations with Western artists. I think it would be really cool if they collabed with another Korean group or artist. I would like to see Jimin and Ravi work together. I think their different voices would work amazingly together.

I am probably the most similar to Jimin. Everyone’s who’s ever known me and knows Kpop often compares me to Jimin.

Yeontan, along with Ravi’s dog, Butt, are my fashion icons.

Once again, I love them all, but if I had to name my least favorites, it would have to be Jimin and Jungkook. Jimin because, he’s incredibly hard for me to write. I get extremely frustrated writing about him. I work best when there’s a certain amount of emotional/psychological distance between me and the person I’m writing about because then I can comfortably extrapolate. He and I are way too close, which makes it hard for me to really describe him as someone else if that makes sense. As for Jungkook, I have a very hard time understanding him. I know that a lot of people love mysterious people, but I find them to be incredibly frustrating. I think he’s incredibly talented and nice, but I’m frustrated by the fact that’s impossible for me to get an idea of what he’s like beyond that surface layer.

Note: You all are probably tired of me saying this, but I am going to say it again ^^ Everything is written by memory, so everything is probably not exact and accurate. And I am so inconsistent with Junhong’s name, so forgive me if I keep saying Junhong then switching back to Zelo.

THE WAIT AND C H A O S

@b90xng15​ and I came to venue at 9:30ish, and there was already a line around the corner. One by one, the line started moving, and most of us at the back had no clue what was going on. Eventually, we were out from the street and lined up inside the barricade in front of the Novo. We had to take out our tickets and show it to the supervisor while he was walking by, so it will be “easier” for him to separate us. P1 ticket holders were on one side, and the P2 ticket holders were in the last line of the barricade. I thought it was organized at first, but it later became chaotic, especially later when it got closer to doors opening, because A.) there were a lot of people who had will-call tickets and B.) there were more P1 ticket holders waiting in line on the streets.

The Novo staffs didn’t even come back to inform further instructions for will-call ticket holders. For those who had will-call tickets (for both P1 and P2), when the line started moving, they had to go to the will-call booth (while the line was moving inside the venue) to get their tickets and go back at the end of the P1 line. The staff also had to go to get more P1 ticket holders from the line on the street first before proceeding to P2 ticket holders. It was so ridiculous. I just thought this was poorly handled. Not just that, they were strict, so it was hard for BABYz and fansites to pass out any signs and banner for us. Which I am like ?? Seriously?

My situation: When tickets went on sale, I couldn’t get any P1 tickets, so I just bought two P2 tickets. Then, I later bought two P1 from this girl online with a straight down payment.

It was around 6pm was when I started losing it. I was so nervous because the girl I bought the ticket from hasn’t showed up yet. I felt bad because I kept on texting her what the progress was and where she was at. I was just out of it. Because my plan was, if she comes in time to give me the P1 tickets, I can give my P2 tickets for the two BABYz in line who had will-call tickets for P2. But it didn’t work out. When they got all of the P1 people inside the venue, our line started moving, and we were one of the first P2 ticket holders in line.  When we got inside, we were so lucky to have the railings. At 7:35pm, she called me and informed me that I have to come back downstairs to come and get my P1 tickets and my wristbands. Luckily, the BABYz who were standing behind told me that they will save my spot, so that @b90xng15 and I can go back downstairs to go get our tickets.

We left as fast as we could but were stopped when one of the employees told us that we cannot re-enter after go out the door because the sign said, “No Re-entering.” I was too mad to even read signs at the time. The staff lost it, and he was raising his voice. I lost my cool as well, but I calmly explained to him of my situation. We then went downstairs, with the staff’s consent, found the girl’s friend, and voilà! Our tickets! 

One of the BABYz waiting with us said that we should file a complaint or sue The Novo for Emotional Distraught. YES! I was really feeling that. LOL.

SONGLIST:

Opening with DJ BShoo

The whole auditorium was dark with dark blue lights (just like how it did last year in LOE but there was nothing on the screen). It was 5 minutes before the show, and the lights dimmed down. On the screen, there it says “B.A.P PARTY BABY” and shows us a photo of DJ BShoo. He came on stage shortly and did his magic. I am not a party/club person at all, and I hate raves, but DJ BShoo was so awesome! Lights were changing to red and beaming! He kept the crowd jumping till the end. Lots of BABYz behind we singing along. I actually enjoyed this opening!

B.A.P (Intro)

After the intro, on the screen, it says “Sound System Check” and there was a timer (for 90 seconds if I remember correctly) in the center, counting down. At this moment, BABYz were anxious. We began counting down when it hit 9 seconds. After the countdown, it shows us “behind the stage” (probably a pre-recording). B.A.P was singing and rapping to the B.A.P (Intro) as they walked out to the stage. When the song ended, there they were again! B E A U T I F U L

It is so sad that I cannot remember anything for these two performances. I am so disappointed at myself. I just remembered enjoying the remixes of these songs, but nothing’s coming up for a mental picture.

Before Bang said “Are you ready?,” there was a long moment of silence, and BABYz just shouted their way through. Love the energy!

I think this is where the confetti started and also when Himchan started water-gunning the pit? Confirmed this please ^^ PS. The ground was literally shaking. BABYz were partying so hard haha.

Do What I Feel

During the part when they sang “Fly~,” Youngjae was seriously so gorgeous at this part. He had his arms spread out like a bird and just feeling the song. I wish I could’ve captured this in photo to show this to you all haha. Towards the end, Bang and Jongup did the same thing but with their arms opened and reaching to the ceiling. Dancing in the Rain

Same thing like last year. All of our arms up and clapping with the lights shining in the entire auditorium.

Himchan, a man of nostalgia <3, started off by saying that how they last came to LA a year ago, and how much they missed us. Then, introductions began.

BABY LONGUE – Bang’s Pick

I think it was Daehyun who said that they wanted to react more with BABYz, which is the reason why they decided to choose BABYz to come on stage. When B.A.P were walking to sit down with the table that had drinks on it, Daehyun said, we called this, “The BABY Longue.” *flying hearts* This day was for Bang to choose: Street Style. He then got up with his hands tapping against his mouth and just observed at BABYz. It really took Bang a while to choose. ^^ When she came on stage, BABYz cheered her on. I totally love the positivity. (PS. I knew her because she had Japanese class with me a few years back). She couldn’t stop smiling and couldn’t even said her name. Just look at the fancam (especially 7:10 seconds), then you’ll get what I mean. haha.

Try My Luck (Jongup’s Solo)

During The BABY Longue, I didn’t see Uppie, which was probably why I knew his solo was coming up. JONGUP! Not gonna lie. Jongup was so graceful on stage! I died! Even though I saw Uppie singing, dancing, and rapping “지금” last year, this blew me even harder. Jongup always find his way to blow BABYz’ minds away. He’s so talented! SOLO ALBUM PLEASE!

Shine (Zelo’s Solo)

There was a stand on the stage. I honestly thought it was Youngjae’s solo, and I cheered for him. *embarrassed* Until I saw Junhong peeking out from stage left, and I was, “damn. Wrong.” LMAO. (Don’t be too quick minded like me, BABYz.) Before Junhong started, he told us that he wrote a song for us, and he hope that we all love it. Zelo stans were more dead than alive at this point. Junhong wasn’t rapping, but his singing was incredible! So proud of him!

Fermata

I didn’t like this song when it came out, but to hear it LIVE was a different story. DaeJaeUp was on stage. Daehyun was in the middle. Jongup was on Dae’s right, and Youngjae was on his left.

I Guess I Need You

I was expecting to see stands for this song, but they were dancing instead. I don’t remember this performance at all. Boo.

Body&Soul

Overhearing BABYz in line, many of them weren’t ready for this song at all. I guessed all of them were cringing at the fact that they might witness the hip-thrust but didn’t happen. Still got lots of scream when B.A.P twist their hips with perfection. And Himchan, of course, never disappoint me when he comes for his part <3 Bottom line: I was so happy to hear this song live. I’ve been waiting for three years to hear this.

Lie (Youngjae’s Solo)

Youngjae was dancing by himself on stage! *dies* I am so proud of him. He sang and danced.

Shadow (Daehyun’s Solo ft Zelo)

I love you, Dae, but memory’s not serving. Only when Junhong came out, BABYz were screaming. I didn’t expect to see Junhong, which was why I screamed too.

SKYDIVE

Before the song started, there was a nice tune playing but very intense. On the screen, it showed us Earth from outer space. We can see the clouds. Then, there were missiles, and I swear I saw a bomb? At the end of the clip, we see a person flying in the sky (or jumping off). To see ot6 performing this song (which we didn’t see during the promotions), it was a blessing. 

Young, Wild & Free

Behind B.A.P, from the bottom to the top, the screen slowly transition into red. I remembered after Zelo’s rap, Jongup came to the center and the two slapped each other’s hands before departing for Daehyun to pitch (Irrelevant example: you know like how Kai and Lay slapped hands during “Monster”—yeah, same thing but LIVE ^o^). It was so cool!

MENT

Wake Me Up

I still haven’t listened to this song enough to sing along (shame on me for being a sh*tty BABY), but all I remember was B.A.P gathering together at the end with the light beaming behind them, leaving us only their dark shadows. This image was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever saw <3

ENCORE

Check On

At first, it was just instrumental. In the screen, we see a silhouette of a person facing us, dancing along with B.A.P and the music. At first, we didn’t even know what was going on, but B.A.P wanted us to dance along with us. They taught us how to dance to it, which starts from head, shoulder, waist, clap (repeat twice) then brush your shoulders. Within a minute, BABYz got it, and they were dancing with the song ^^

SPY

Junhong and Jongup continued where they left off last year: the dance battle. Himchan went on chanting, “Moon Jongup! Moon Jongup!” and BABYz joined. After Jongup finished, he came to Himchan and the two slapped their hands. So cute~ Himchan was like a proud mom. I’ll just shut up before I start repeating myself of amazing our Jongup is haha.

I am not sure if it was either Carnival or Be Happy was when Himchan started fighting with the confetti. ^^ I remember there was a previous song (maybe in Feels so Good) was when a confetti was stuck on Himchan’s forehead, and then during one of these songs, the confetti was blowing so hard that it came to Himchan’s face. Poor Channie~

GOODBYE SPEECHES

Before their goodbye speeches, Daehyun asked us, “Which solo did you like best?” The voting was based on us cheering the loudest for the member we enjoyed most. I loved them all, but I cheered for Jongup and Youngjae. At the end, Junhong won with the most cheers. Himchan turned to Junhong and said, “Zelo wins!” Daehyun then asked us, “Who liked Himchan hyung?” My throat was so sore, but I screamed. After our cheers, Himchan said, “I win!” Haha <33 Himchan also apologized when he said that he and Bang couldn’t prepare a solo for us (Channie, you don’t need to say sorry). He said that he will plan something for us during the next tour.

Daehyun was trying to say his goodbye messages, but we kept on screaming. Daehyun continuously tried in telling us by saying, “calm down” and added, “Hey, this is my time.” But that didn’t stop BABYz. It was too the point where Daehyun was nearly begging when he said, “Pllleeaasssee~!” Ah, Daehyun’s too cute. Poor child. He was just trying to end the night haha.

I only remembered Youngjae and Jongup’s last words. Youngjae went on saying that he’s happy that every time B.A.P comes to LA, there is always a full house. He also said that he’s really comfortable with LA since there is a large Korean population. Youngjae ended with, “Please lots of Korean food.” ^.^

Jongup told us how he has families in LA and was talking about how his cousin (?) just gave birth (I couldn’t hear much with all of the cheers). I honestly can’t believe of how Jongup was able to trust us and inform us with such a deep story. Daehyun was like, “Jongup’s BABY” (he was referring to the newborn child) and pointed to us, “Our BABYz.” <33 Jongup ended by saying, “I love you, bro!” and made a heart! (I will talk about the “BRO” story later. It will make more sense, or if you saw GIFs of who started with the whole “Bro” thing, you know what I’m referring to.)

Oh, yes, I remembered before Bang was going to say his, everyone screamed. Bang was just standing on stage and smiling, listening to us cheering for Bang. I’d say that the cheers and screams for Bang went on for a good minute or so. Lots of love in room~

B.A.B.Y

When it comes to B.A.P, I love them so much, but I rarely cry about them, but at this moment of the concert, I got emotional. When this song came on, I was like “why does this sound so different from last year?” haha. On the screen, there was black and white videos of BABYz and B.A.P—from their first debut, throughout all of their tours, and just videos of smiling BABYz. I LOST IT!!! My eyes got watery and my heart was just trembling. LMAO. But my tears didn’t fall! I’ve talked to a few BABYz who told me they couldn’t afford to go to LOE last year right after B.A.P returned from hiatus, and this concert meant everything for them, and it was something very valuable (to be there that night and to hear how thankful B.A.P was for BABYz, wanting to dedicate this song for us). I think this song was the highlight for lots of BABYz and for B.A.P as well. <3

BANG x2

After B.A.B.Y ended, we found it odd of how the staff didn’t go on saying, “For those who have a checker wristband…blah blah blah….,” because this was what the staffs always say after the show. Until B.A.P came back unexpectedly with BANG x2, we were like OMFG. They totally caught us off guard! To enjoy one last moment with them was amazing! I think it was Youngjae who came out with a recorder attached to a selfie-stick. He began recording BABYz and the performance. Jongup then stole the stick and began taking the video. More confettis.

Bang took a poster a BABY made him, which I couldn’t see much from afar but it was a poster of AM 4:44 and the ribbon for mental health. Bang was so happy when he saw that and took it for his collection. Thank you for the BABY who made that poster. <3 

HIGHLIGHT

WE SANG HAPPY BIRTHDHAY TO HIMCHAN! AND I WAS THERE! FINALLY! In 2014, he was at Chicago, and I couldn’t go (and I wasn’t even a BABY just yet). Last year, I almost chased him to all the way to Vancouver to celebrate his birthday, but that is just insane, and I had classes. But this year! Oh, man! We took out the sign “내가수 김힘찬 태어나줘서 고마워” (Thank you Unlimited and Tivoli for getting this out to us despite Novo’s stupid rule of passing out banners!), and I held my sign (which Himchan couldn’t see from my distant >> see photo below). We sang his birthday twice for Channie, and I can see how touched he was. He was getting teary, but I could see how strong he held it in. Strong Chan never breaks (except for 2013 but that’s a different story). But he was so thankful. And this is how the “bro” thing came. Youngjae kept on saying, “Happy Birthday, Bro!” as he moves around Himchan and into different positions. Look at this wonderful GIF set, and you’ll see how hyper and adorable Youngjae was.

Daehyun asked us to say “Happy birthday, bro” after counting down to three. When we all said, “Happy birthday, bro,” B.A.P fell into laughter. These dorks~

Himchan also mentioned that it was their main stylists, Eji’s (이지), (or hairstylists—help me here BABYz if you remember) birthday (he also spelled out the characters for us ^^). Youngjae then turned to stage left towards the back stage and yelled, “Happy birthday, Eji Bro!” This kid. lol C(;

Thanks to my short legs, my sign was all I saw in this photo Himchan posted on his IG. LOL. The direct translation for my sign is “Step into the world with strength (or bodly),” which I meant to say “Himchan, walk strongly.“

HITOUCH

After the show, we lined up in the pit and waited for a good 10-15minutes. Danny, B.A.P’s translator, informed us the rules of using our phone: no taking photos and, especially, no videos, or they will delete everything we’ve taken on our phone (from the concert). Strict, but I can understand and respect that rule. Before the line started moving, I turned to the girls behind me and warned them that I might take my sweet time on Himchan. Haha. While approaching the hitouch, I saw Daehyun’s back and next to him was Channie. I was so “NO!” because I wanted Himchan to be last lol.

DAEHYUN: I was shocked to see Daehyun. All I did or say was “Oh, hey!” and slapped his hands. He was just smiling. I only remember his teeth and his cute cheeks. I cannot remember anything else.

HIMCHAN: When I turned and saw Himchan, who was sitting on the table and ready to give me a hi-five, I went OH-MY-FRONT-DOOR! I slapped his hands, and I quickly took out the gift I prepared (which I was hiding away from the securities). I caught Himchan off guard because he had already directed his attention to give @b90xng15 a hi-five. When he saw me still standing in front of him and handing him his birthday gift, I remembered Himchan withdrawing his hands and accepted it. From what @b90xng15 told me, she saw Himchan grabbing the gift and placed it on his laps when I left.  I didn’t even tell him what I wanted to say (I have confidently plotted out what to say), but I couldn’t even say one word to him, not even “I love you.” Darn. And he didn’t even make eye contact with me. I don’t even remembered if he touched my hands or not while grabbing my present. *sobs*

BANG: After Himchan, I wasn’t paying attention, and I saw Bang’s smiling face next. I honestly or accidentally said “Oh my, wow!” in front of Bang, which was probably why he was laughing the entire time when I hi-five him. LOL. So adorable. Bang’s right. He’s not even scary in person. So adorable and gummy <333

JONGUP: My moment with Uppie was so quick. I was so shocked because Jongup is tall. Haha. (Well, again, I am short so everyone’s tall). I remembered Jongup gave me his one-sided smile, which I think is the most adorable thing ever. I thank him and slapped his hands.

YOUNGJAE: Youngjae was the only one I actually stopped and took a brief second as we both made eye contact. I smiled, thanked him, and gave him a high-five. Youngjae (my bias wrecker) looked so handsome in person! So glad we took that quick second!

ZELO: When I came to Junhong, he had his right hand ready for me. As I came towards him with a hi-five, he quickly switched his hands and gave me left hands instead with a killer smile. I laughed and slapped his hands with both of my hands because he confused me. LOL. What a tease~ Junhong’s so cute and TALL.

Hitouch, overall, was so fast, which kinda upset me because B.A.P is my ultimate group (Of course, along my lovelies, B1A4). The staff was really pushing us to keep going, and I was so pressured. Luckily, I still have this small memories of how my boys look like even though it was literally a second each. I remembered getting out from the Novo upset and at the edge of wanting to cry. My lame ass was mourning over the fact I couldn’t say anything to Himchan (BABYz, don’t be a crybaby like me ^^) LOL.

I want to thanks all of the BABYz I met and who was able to keep me busy during the dreadful wait—@b90xng15 and @hiddenhina. @meaty-glory-himchans-thighs, thank you for the gift. I love it to death, and you are so beautiful! We need to meet up again! So happy for you and your opportunity to meet and give Channie your beautiful gift! I know he’s so happy! We are so gonna get Boba when I come to the bay area! @daehyuns-uneven-buttcheeks, you are so pretty omfg, and I want to borrow your legs! I know Dae was so dead when he encountered your beauty! LOL. Glad we were able to meet and talk! Girls, we need to take a photo next time! I had a great time with you all, and especially to those who were so kind to save our spots during the pre-show. I am so thankful that there are many honest BABYz out there. BABYz are so wonderful and amazing! I think one of the highlights of this experience was, of course, seeing B.A.P and meeting BABYz.

All of those hours of waiting and those crazy moments of getting those P1 tickets were worth it! This trip was extremely exhausting because we had to go straight home right after the concert (and LA was a six hour drive back but a 10 hour drive with bus), but PartyBABY was one of the greatest experiences in my life. Crazy but one the best!!! Next time, I will be there earlier than ever, hopefully. And I will make Himchan look at me LOL. B.A.P is the best thing that ever happened to my life! I am so glad that I was able to spend this beautiful Sunday evening with my fellow BABYz and my boys! Never felt more alive. Looking for those years to come with everyone and with B.A.P <333

All tea B.A.P in NYC

Hey I’m going to try to make this as short as possible and will omit real names for privacy purposes. Myself I will call Twix and my sister Skittles. Friday after work and school we decided to meet up to line up early for a spot for B.A.P since we had P 1 tickets. We were ready to go and packed a suitcase, snacks, and a tent while we headed to the venue Terminal 5. I had scouted a day before and knew we would be near the water so wanted to be prepared for the chilly winds. Most people on Facebook said they would start lining up around 12-1 in the morning so we took an Uber and got there around 11:20pm. We were so shocked when we saw that a line had already formed. Some people that were P 2 and P 3 had got there early Friday morning—talk about dedication. We were still in pretty good standing since there were about 14 people in line. We decided to set up shop and put up the tent, but the thing was we had never set up one before. Luckily there was a former Girl Scout in the group ahead of us that started to help. As we were clearly struggling trying to put up the tent, Almond Joy comes out of nowhere, and sets up the tent with us. Low key I just thought she wanted in on the tent because it was so cold; but, after we invited her in she politely declined and went back to laying under her blankets. There was an event going on at the venue and around midnight security comes out to tell us to disperse and we can’t stay there. They give us red tickets and tell us to come back in the morning. People converse for a little bit and post on the B.A.P NYC facebook for people not to line up until 9:30 am because of the special tickets.

After a few hours of sleep we decide to head back to terminal 5 dressed to the nines with our sleeping bags and blankets. Almond Joy arrives at the same time and we go find our spots next to the other red ticket holders. Everyone starts to make small talk about biases, dramas, and the big 3 while trying to keep warm but it’s so brick outside. My sister finds a kindred spirit in a baby we will call Jolly Ranchers and they are so cute with each other. Next to us is another duo with a crazy girl with a big personality named Sweet Tarts, and her bubbly bestie Twizzlers. Near the front of the line by the entrance this petite girl starts screaming “ Stop It Just Stop It”. It was loud and she starts spazzing out saying people are skipping the line. She argues that it’s not fair because she has been there all morning lined up since 3:00 am and how people have been freezing in the cold and it’s not fair about the red tickets. She is pissed and storms off to join the line with her banners. At about 9:30 am security comes out and moves the line closer to the venue and separates the red tickets holders from the regular ticket holders and directs us to the other side of Terminal 5 where we wait behind barriers. We take turns going to the bathroom and some people go to change or pick up some food---those chicken nuggets though delish! Another member of our crew Kit Kat bust out the card games which include the classic Uno and Cards against Humanity which is so hilarious. During this time the event staff were checking the lines and handing out wristbands for hi touch . We were later joined by my sisters friend named ChocoPie who actually came with plenty of snacks including Poki Sticks with ChocoPies and put the rest of our stuff in her car for storage.

We go off to the nearest deli to charge up all our devices and come back just in time to get our photo op packages and wristbands. The packages are totally random and I ask people what they got and most got Daehyun. I look at mine and initially I thought I received a signed album from Jongup but the group ahead of us told me it was Yongguk. I didn’t even have a chance because Skittles pounced on me lol. I traded her signed album for Daehyun and my Zelo cards I traded with someone else. Closer to the time of the concert people started getting hyped up and there’s press going around asking questions about the group and the fandom. You have people dancing, rapping, and singing. Our group the Velvet Rope (inside joke) is doing the most---you have Sweet Tarts and Chocopie busting out lyrics for Wake Me Up, Jolly Ranchers on the side with Kit Kat cracking up, Twizzlers is freaking us out with her trivia skills like how do you know what stuff animals everybody sleeps with lol all and all the interview was funny af. There’s these cute korean girls in front of us that start talking to ChocoPie that just so happen to know the same people. One of the girls actually has the same name as Jolly Ranchers so we’ll call her Juicy Fruit. Fast forward to it’s time to go into the venue and there’s this commotion near the front of the line. Apparently a lot of people in the front did not have the red tickets because security told them otherwise. Also there were not P 1 but were P 2 and P 3 anyway the guy in charge came and sorted everything out and they were allowed to stay on the line. Sweet tarts crazy self makes a last minute dash to a bathroom nearby and comes back right on time before we start heading in.

We make a mad dash to inside after getting our bags checked but barricade is gone ~ le sigh, but we still get pretty close. Our group is on the right side of the stage. The korean girls with ChocoPie are on my left and on my right is Kit Kat with the rest of the group. Everybody started coming in at once filling all the space around us in no time. The concert didn’t even start yet and on my back I could feel this girl super close and was laughing with her friend. I know that in the pit it gets crazy and packed. In my head I’m thinking to myself does she not feel my butt on her or does she not even care. So I’m listening to them and there’s three of them. One on my left had bright fire engine red hair, the one on my butt kind of reminds of Hyme from Rania, and there was another shorter girl to my right but behind Kit Kat. She tells the one in the middle I’m not staying here. Music comes and they start playing some old school 80′s or 90′s songs, like songs you would hear in karaoke. Everybody start singing Sweet Dreams by the Eurythimics. All of a sudden the lights dim, the countdown starts, and the babyz start chanting B.A.P. the dj comes out and starts mixing.  As soon as they came out we started screaming and everybody went nuts! I have to say that our group well the whole section was lit! There was so much energy yo it was crazy and I really didn’t that would enjoy it like I did here! One thing was that the girls behind us kept pushing us non stop and I turned to see who it was and it was the girl from before that was spazzing out let’s call her blowpop because she was acting up lol. She pushed KitKat and elbowed me in the sides. Her friend pushed Juicy Fruit but she locked arms with me and told me not to let go of her hand it was real in the pit omg like so bad. After blowpop knew she couldn’t push past us she bumrushed Jolly Ranchers but it did not work. The whole concert blowpop was like a little angry dog with the pushing it was pretty brutal. After awhile eventually the red headed friend stopped but blowpop never did until the very end. I’m trying to upload videos to this but yeah it’s a no go I think my files are too big or something I don’t know. I can talk about the interactions that we had. I came for Daehyun he is my bias but the maknaes came for me at this concert. Jongup is so fine like I couldn’t stop looking at him like what where did you come from? When I tell you he’s a bias wrecker that’s an understatement. He was all over the place pop locking and grinding all in your face lmao and gets an automatic invite to the cookout. He was looking at Kit Kat and she has the receipts. Youngjae was caught staring at her too. Mmh okay. Jolly Ranchers told me that she was dancing and just happened to look up to see Jongup staring at her like what and talking to Yongguk about it O_O he was definitely feeling the black girls that night I’ll say that. Blowpop was such a hater. That girl is straight crazy. Jolly Ranchers was so surprised that he was looking at her because she was so quiet and Blow Pop was screaming her head off. She told me everytime he came over to our side she kept elbowing her and Blowpop would try to mess up her videos when Zelo was in front of her. Yo that is so not cool. Jolly Ranchers got so mad at her she knocked the phone out her hand.  Zelo was another dark horse that I was not expecting to go all out for the concert. If Jongup is invited to the cookout he sure is bringing Zelo with him because that boy was not playing. He has such great stage presence and was so cute the whole night and was interacting with us the whole night I see you over there Zelo <3 It was so cute hearing him sing for his solo and I love his little dance he did with this giraffe headband on his head again I would upload the video but yeah. He fell down and was like I’m so tired of his dancing he was so cute. Coming for me?

I’m starting to get sleepy so I’m going to try to wrap this up real quick. Dae dae killed me with his vocals I was like liquid. In general all the songs were good but the songs that I could listen to were Fermata, I need You, Body & Soul I was done. Not to say that I didn’t like the upbeat songs like That’s My Jam, Bang x2, Spy, etc it’s just I love how they arranged those all together. Feel so good was great too. Youngjae solo was good too and I was surprised that he danced in the very beginning. Gukkie was a shy little turtle on our side and reminded me of a painting artist, or recluse and he was so happy I was just like awww. Skittles was losing her mind over how good he looked especially with the white shirt. Jongup solo was so damn sexy. The end. Himchan was so cool and I love how he interacted with people. Lisa the girl he picked was so cute and shy. I think when they did the love shot she just about died. He also got a real kick out of the pink sign someone made for him. I was so mad at him with that damn watergun. He would low key try to squirt you if you had your phone out. Skittles ducked out of the water and he laughed. He caught me I was too thru and ChocoPie started screaming at him playfully informally lol. Near the end of the concert people thought it was over but they came back out and people lost their minds again bad thing nobody wanted to leave because they thought it still wasn’t over lol. Hi touch was right after and the line was ridiculously long but what I didn’t like was how they was rushing people and screaming hurry up. KitKat told me that her, Jolly Ranchers, Sweet Tarts and Twizzlers had a plan.They rolled up to the table saying “ Ayeeee” with Youngjae and Zelo was like “ Ayeeeee”. There were some technical difficulties at the the table lol I’m not obligated to say what exactly lol but it gave Kit Kat a chance to have a moment with Youngae. For my high touch I made a mistake but it kind of helped me out a little bit in the end. I had my phone out in my hand not even paying attention really and I’m on my way walking to the table when the security screamed go back no phones no phones you will not be able to take a picture so I had to double back and put my phone in my pocket in the mean time two girls went in front of me flying by me. I almost missed Youngjae because he was the first one so I did a quick tap and hi with him and Zelo, but I had to slow down for Daehyun and held his hand told him I loved him all the while the lady is screaming at me to hurry up like excuse me lol and Jongup is laughing because I’m holding up the line XD  no fucks were given I don’t remember Himchan too much after hi five because I was being rushed and Gukkie had the biggest smile on his face when I hi touched. I almost left by mistake because you had to make a left to go back into the main hall. They grouped you by 10 with me and Skittles being on the end. We got lucky because I was the only one that wanted to take a picture with Daehyun and Skittles wanted Yongguk. I didn’t go when I was suppose to because it was suppose to be 5 at a time and I was number 6 but I did the numbers in my head. I noticed that 5 would stand in front and the others would kneel. I didn’t want to be on my knees so I just kept walking and just in time because I guess the girls didn’t figure out what was happening. The other four weren’t walking up either. So I stood right in front of Daehyun turned around and he started smiling, I didn’t know what to do so I gave him another hi five and then I waved to Jongup and the rest. Then we took two quick pictures and I said bye to him my heart. I was so high after that. It was so good I didn’t even care about the picture honestly. truly. It was all about the interactions and talking to them. The night was filled with so much drama but would I do it again? Yes in a heartbeat.

“I’m gonna to be late!” You catch a glance of the clock out of the corner of your eye. The next bus comes at 6:15, and it’s already past the hour. The pile of clothes on your bed continues to grow as you sift through your closet, not satisfied with any of your options.

It’s been about three months since the lastest album was announced and the group had to jump back into getting ready for a tour around Korea and Japan. Because of their strict practice schedule, you and Zelo haven’t gotten to spend any time together apart from facetiming here and there. When tickets went on sale for the final concert of the tour, you made a spur of the moment decision to buy one and surprise him.

A few days before the concert, you had messaged Himchan and asked him with many cherries on top if he could set you up with a VIP backstage pass. After a handful of sassy texts, he complied and said he would see what he could do. The excitement hit the next day when your ticket and pass came in the mail with a note from Himchan, “Use this wisely”.

Something between a screech and whine escapes your lips as you trip over a shoe trying to pull on a somewhat clean pair of jeans. You run to the bathroom and slap on a messy layer of foundation and mascara and pull your hair into a ponytail, calling it good enough. Just before you grab your purse to head out the door, you realize you have two different shoes on.

“Shit! Mother of-” You curse, pulling them both off and reaching for the nearest matching pair.

Finally fully clothed and sort of matching, you grab a BAP snapback from the coat rack and all but bolt out the door to the bus stop.

You make it on the bus with only seconds to spare. If your apartment had been any farther away, you would have had to wave goodbye to your fantastic, sneaky plan. You snag a seat at the back of the bus, practically falling into it.

The ride is only 30 minutes, but it’s enough time to get you excited about seeing Zelo face to face again. You run through all the possible ways you could surprise him. Hide in the dressing room and jump out from behind the door? No, too generic. Pretend to be a saesang fan? No, too risky. Ask the driver to give you the van and drive the guys back to the company in disguise? No, too complicated.

Wait.

A thought crosses your mind. Yeah, that’ll be fun. You grin and giggle to yourself, the exhilaration of it all coursing through your body.

The bus drops you off a couple blocks from the venue, but even this far away you can see the insane lines to get into the concert hall. You head towards the masses, looking for any indication that there’s a separate line for those who already have tickets. As you get closer, you pick a girl with striking blue hair out from the crowd who looks fairly nice and ask her if such a thing exists.

“Oh yeah! Do you see the entrance with the blue lights? That’s where you need to go,” She even made a point to make sure you knew where she was pointing.

“Perfect, thank you so much!” You thank her and bow, very grateful for the help.

“No problem, enjoy the concert!” She waves, turning back to her friends as you snake through the crowd to get to the other side of the building.

You arrive at the second gate, and there are much fewer people here. The line also seems to be moving faster. You jump in and within the next 10 minutes, you are through security and in the arena ready to find your seat.

You really wanted to get a seat in the first 10 rows, but when you saw the pricetag, you decided that a nosebleed seat in the balcony wasn’t so bad. Finding your seat was pretty easy, all the upstairs sections were broken into smaller chunks that had different seat colors. You found your way to your seat with little issue and got settled in for the show.

The stage was set up with a large screen on each side that streamed the members closer up for those in the upper seats. For being nosebleed section, there really wasn’t a bad seat in the house considering the size of the venue.

It wasn’t long before every seat in the house was filled and the lights dimmed, signaling the start of the show. Your heart races in your chest, you can’t wait to see Zelo perform on stage. Even though you have been dating for two years, you never got the chance to see him perform live. Sure, you were in dance practices and he would give you your own private show, but actually seeing him and the rest of the members perform on stage in front of thousands of people? It was a whole new world. And a fan-fucking-tastic one at that.

The room is pitch black and the beginnings of “One Shot” fill the air, the fan screams piercing through the room not seconds later. Lights fade in on the stage and fog rolls in from nowhere. Six figures rise from the stage floor, clad in all white attire ready to conquer the world. Your eyes immediately go to Zelo, whose face is like stone, much different from his usual self. It sends chills down your spine, but in a good way. He looks stunning standing up on stage, like he belongs there. And he damn well does.

The concert flies by, every song better than the one before. As the last few notes of “With You” ring in the air, the crowd goes wild and the fan chants make a round for the last time of the evening. You feel tears well up and spill down your cheeks. All of BAP worked so hard for this concert and it certainly showed.

You make your way out of the arena and down to the first floor where the VIP check-in table is. There are about 20 other fans crowded around the table waiting to go in. You stand at the back, wanting to make sure you’re the last to enter.

Everyone is lined up and walked in by security to a room behind the stage where BAP is standing in front of a backdrop, ready to take pictures. You drop your head and pull your baseball cap down to cover your eyes, trying hard not to laugh. Everyone is pushed through the line quickly, each fan getting a quick hug and picture. When it nears your turn, you glance up and make eye contact with Youngguk. He looks confused for a moment, then smirks and starts to turn to Zelo to tell him that you’re here.

“No!” You whisper, waving your hands frantically at him.

“Wae?” He mouths back. Daehyun notices Youngguk not paying attention to the fans, so he turns to look back at you. It’s not long before Himchan and Youngjae also take notice. You give Himchan a desperate look, hoping he’ll magically understand what you’re planning on doing.

There’s only one girl left ahead of you. She gets her picture, bows and leaves the room. You fidget with your hat one last time, shifting your body to convey being nervous.

“Yah, what are-” Jongup starts, but Himchan cuts him off, taking the lead.

“Hello! Would you like to get a picture with us?” He steps forward, holding out his hand.

“Yes please,” You say, making your voice sound higher than normal. Taking his hand, Himchan pulls you in so that you’re standing between him and Zelo. Himchan and Zelo put their arms around you while the photographer gets into position to take the picture.

“Alright, three, two, o-”

Between the photographer saying one and the camera going off, you get up on your tiptoes and plant a huge kiss on Zelo’s cheek just in time for the shot.

Zelo turns to look at you, his face a mix of confusion and shock. “What are you-”

The other five members erupt into hysterical laughter. Daehyun is laughing so hard, he falls to the floor while tears stream down his cheeks.

“That look!” Youngjae points to Zelo’s face.

“She got you good,” Himchan chuckles, shaking his head.

The rest of the members to continue to laugh, but Zelo finally realizes it’s you standing in front of him. The world seems to fall away as he gazes longingly into your eyes. “_____-ah, what are you doing here?” He scoffs in complete disbelief.

“I wanted to surprise you, so I bought a ticket for the concert and asked Himchan to get me backstage. I thought of that little joke on the way here.”

“You definitely surprised me,” Zelo laughs and pulls you into a tight hug. “I’ve missed you so much, ______-ah.”

“I’ve missed you too, oppa.”

Zelo loosens his grip just enough to lean down and catch your lips with his. You feel your body relax against his, giving yourself over to him. The kiss is urgent and full of desperation, like he never wanted to let you go ever again.

“Damn, get a room!”

“Keep it in your pants, would you?”

You reluctantly break away from Zelo to look at the rest of the members. Daehyun composes himself enough to get up off the ground and stand with the rest of the group.

“Did you enjoy the concert _____-ah?” Youngjae asks.

“It was great, you all did a good job out there. I’d pay to watch that everyday.”

“If you would have told me you wanted to come, I could’ve gotten you in for free,” Zelo squeezes your shoulders.

“But then I couldn’t surprise you! I think this was more fun anyway,” You poke him in the cheek and he returns it by sticking out his tongue.

“We’re going to head back to the dressing room to get ready to leave. Zelo, can you go get my phone out of the green room?” Himchan asks.

“But hyung, I thought your phone was-” Daehyun starts, but Himchan interrupts him.

“Thanks, come on let’s go,” Himchan grabs Daehyun by his shirt and drags him out. Everyone else follows close behind, leaving you and Zelo alone for the first time that evening.  

“So, the green room, huh?” You smirk, shaking your head.

“If you don’t want to come with me, then I’ll just go by myself,” Zelo teases, starting for the door.

“Wait, no, I’m coming!” You run after him, jumping onto his back.

Zelo takes off running down the hall, zigzagging around the halls until you get to the green room. He drops you on one of the couches and goes to lock the door.

“Are we really going to do this here?” You motion to the room, which is a complete mess, and let’s not forget how many other people have probably sat on that couch.

Zelo sits down beside you and caresses your cheek. Gently, he pulls you close and locks lips with you. It’s a sweet, tender kiss, something that Zelo has never done with you before. You wrap your arms around his neck, savoring the taste of his soft lips and this new sensation that washes over you.

You’re the one who breaks the kiss first, taking a breath and looking up at him in amazement. “Now that is what I call a kiss. Where have you been keeping that hidden?”

“Oh, there’s much more where that came from,” He whispers deeply, pushing you down onto the couch.

This time Zelo crashes his lips to yours, laying on top of you with every inch of his body covering you. You run your hands through his hair, leaving one hand buried there while the other travels down to rest on his ass.

It’s not long before a familiar friend starts pushing against your stomach. You can’t help but giggle. Zelo ignores you and pushes his tongue into your mouth, making you gasp. That’s a new one. His hands slip under your shirt and very slowly move toward your bra.

A loud bang echoes through the room, scaring Zelo enough that he falls off the couch. “Yah, I know this is a bad time, but if you could hurry it up, that would be great. The van is leaving in 10 minutes, I hope to see you both dressed and deboned before we leave,” Himchan calls through the door, then leaves you be.

You both sit there for a moment, stunned. Zelo breaks the silence with a choked back laugh that then sets you off into a fit of giggles as well.

“That was…” You say, at a loss for words.

“Mean and just rude,” Zelo finishes for you, finally standing up off the ground. He holds out his hand to help you up.

“That was fun while it lasted,” You give Zelo a quick peck, then check to make sure you look somewhat presentable.

“If we go back to your place, I can show you what I actually had in mind,” He straightens his shirt, then casually reaches down and smacks your butt.

“Hey!”

“Come on, we better go before Himchan comes back to wreak more havoc on our lives.” Zelo opens the door and the two of you head out to meet the other members. You can’t wait to see what the rest of the night has in store.
