Tbh I'm worried about not being a good disciplinarian... bc of how I grew up I'm kind of opposed to fear/anger as a disciplinary tool but I don't have good skills to use instead. I also often don't know how I feel about things so I can be talked out of rules/expectations easily. I need to work on myself so I can be a more effective parent by the time he's, like, school-aged

#especially since i'm raising a son like i don't want him to develop a perception that it's ok to manipulate people particularly women #and we aren't having more kids so we'll also have to discourage 'only child' behavior somehow. or so i've heard #u know like supposedly only children can tend to have difficulties with sharing and stuff... idk how true that is but i'm trying to be aware
