Mocking people for having allergies is ridiculous to me because like…you know that if they’re severe enough they could die, right? Within seconds?
#I only really have skin allergies and they’re minor#but my mom was watching this video about how gen x is so tough and has had to face so much hardship#and was like ‘and of course gen z has suffered SOOO much too. after all there was the GREAT PEANUT ALLERGY EPIDEMIC’#(the video not my mom)#sweetie. people can die from allergies#first of all: not their fault they have allergies#it’s a glitch in the immune system#second of all: depending on the severity they could go into anaphylactic shock within seconds#they mock allergies as a ‘kids these days are so weak and fragile they can’t even have peanuts’#that’s???? not their fault????????#even funnier because my parents are one gen x and one boomer#and they have more allergies than I do#and they’re more severe#my dad’s been hospitalized twice due to stevens johnson syndrome#(a severe allergic reaction brought on my medication allergies)#both of my parents can’t have entire classes of drugs#and my mom has a cat allergy#her mom has a dog allergy#me: I have seasonal allergies and skin allergies that are just a minor annoyance#my brother has none!#like how much do you want to bet that if you turned it around on them it would just be another thing that makes them so tough#fighters all around! look what they’ve overcome!#generational wars are so stupid. y’all are whiny and dumb and you get mad at younger generations for being the same way#grow up I beg of you. act your age#probably delete later
