The two sisters are the result of their mother and father, Gwyn and Kadel Ingeim, making a deal with the hag Lehaenn. Half an year after Tania's birth, she was replaced by a changeling for another six months. Then, the hag presented the young girl and the changeling for Gwyn to take one or the other. Gwyn chose to take both, thus raised both Tania and Taiya as her daughters.

Funnily enough, Lehaenn herself also became fond of the two little girls, and the hag maintained a good relationship with Gwyn and Kadel. Lehaenn became known as Tania and Taiya's grandmother. When the two girls grew older and sought out to explore the Material Plane and the Feywild, Lehaenn offered to be their patron. Taiya accepted completely, while Tania politely refused. She still accepted Lehaenn's gift of an Eldritch Invocation. Taiya's Pact Boon became the Pact of the Chain, where Lehaenn gifted her the service of a sprite named Volta.

Both girls became a part of the Emerald Enclave, though Taiya had spent most of her time exploring the Feywild.

I created and played Tania as a guest in a friend's campaign, but I've had the idea of her ever since I read about the Fey Wanderer Ranger archtype. I love these girls I think theyre really fun
