did anybody else interpret the marlas mom chapter as tyler actually butchering her or something and not just...... stealing her fat . the way its worded is so vague

#i thought for the longest time he killed her and it was So out of character i couldnt believe it and then i read a summary of it like a year #later and Oh . Damn i completely misinterpreted this my bad #marla screamign at the narrator did not help what i initially though #tekstic #and tyler being all like “well we couldve done soemthing worse” also made me think it was something severe #not fraud....
