I just realized that the AJ trilogy letting you play the cases in any order (and jumping to whatever chapter you want) means I can
FINALLY
play through Turnabout Countdown and the Cosmic Turnabout in the proper order
#dd spoilers#aa5 spoilers#aj trilogy#dual destinies#uh oh rant incoming in the tags#I will never not be mad that they made a midquel case the freaking tutorial#it just ruins the entire pacing of the finale#it worked so do an out-of-order case for Trials and Tribulations bc thematically we are staring at Phoenix’s beginning#instead we get an awkward ‘how did it get like this’ cliffhanger that is completely unrelated to the next two cases (three counting Orca)#begging newbies to just start with that Yokai case instead it’s a better tutorial considering it properly introduces you to Athena#and transitions better with Trucy and Apollo being your POV characters fresh off AA4 and Phoenix doesn’t have his badge yet#save yourself the whiplash
