I’m loving reading the left hand of darkness so much. it’s such a cool look at what a world where gender simply is not a factor could look like, which arguably in the 2020s we still can’t fully imagine — and yet simultaneously it’s a 1960s vision of what such a world could look like, with corresponding attitudes as to how the impact of gender has impacted the world in those very specific ways
