A/N: Enemies to lovers af
The roar of the crowd was a physical force, pressing against Y/N as she adjusted her helmet. Her heart hammered against her ribs, a familiar pre-race rhythm. She glanced across the grid. Charles Leclerc, in his Ferrari red, was a few spots over, his focus seemingly fixed on his steering wheel. Even from this distance, she could feel the tension radiating off him, a mirror of her own. Their rivalry, a carefully constructed performance for the cameras and the fans, was a constant hum beneath the surface.
Flashback – Karting Track, Monaco, Age 10
"You cheated!" Y/N shrieked, pointing a finger at Charles, who shrugged, a smug grin plastered on his face. He’d just bumped her kart off the track in the final turn, snatching victory by a hair's breadth.
"All's fair in love and karting," he retorted, his French accent thick even at that young age. Y/N gritted her teeth. This wasn't the first time he'd pulled a stunt like this, and it certainly wouldn't be the last. Their rivalry had started the moment they’d met at this very track, two precocious kids with a burning passion for speed.
End Flashback
Y/N scoffed internally. Some things never changed. He was still pulling stunts, albeit on a much grander scale now. The stakes were higher, the consequences more severe, but the underlying dynamic remained the same. They were locked in a perpetual battle, two sides of the same coin, driven by an ambition that bordered on obsession.
Flashback – Formula 3 Press Conference, Age 18
"Leclerc," a journalist drawled, "rumors say you deliberately blocked Y/N during qualifying. Care to comment?"
Charles’s expression was carefully neutral. “Just racing,” he said smoothly. “Y/N knows the game. If she can't handle the pressure, maybe she should find another career.”
Y/N, sitting a few seats down, bristled. “Oh, I can handle the pressure,” she snapped, her voice laced with ice. “Unlike some people, I prefer to win with skill, not dirty tricks.”
The tension in the room crackled. Their rivalry, carefully manufactured for the media, was starting to feel very real.
End Flashback
The lights on the starting gantry began to blink out one by one. Five… four… three… Y/N took a deep breath, centering herself. She could feel Charles’s gaze on her, a silent challenge. Two… one…
The lights went out. The engines roared, and the race began.
The cars surged forward, a blur of vibrant colors against the grey asphalt. Y/N’s reflexes were lightning fast. She slotted her Red Bull between a McLaren and an Aston Martin, gaining a position before the first turn. The track twisted and turned, a high-speed dance of precision and nerve. Charles, starting a few places ahead, was aggressive, pushing his Ferrari to its limits. He and Y/N traded places several times in the opening laps, a constant push and pull, each driver refusing to yield an inch. The tension was palpable, not just between them, but throughout the entire grid.
Lap after lap, they danced on the edge of control. Then, on lap fifteen, disaster struck. Coming out of a tight hairpin, Charles’s rear tires lost grip. His car fishtailed violently, spinning him across the track. There was a sickening crunch of metal as he collided with the barrier. The air filled with smoke and debris. Y/N, just inches behind, narrowly avoided the wreckage. Her heart pounded in her chest. For a split second, she was concerned, but then the competitive fire reignited. This was her chance.
With Charles out of the race, the path to victory was clear. Y/N seized the opportunity, pushing her car to the absolute limit. She overtook the remaining contenders one by one, her focus laser-sharp. The roar of the crowd faded into the background. All that mattered was the checkered flag.
As she crossed the finish line, a wave of exhilaration washed over her. She had won! Not only that, but with Charles’s unexpected exit, she had likely taken the championship lead. The team radio crackled with congratulations. Y/N grinned, the adrenaline still coursing through her veins.
The post-race interviews were a whirlwind. Y/N, beaming, answered questions about her victory and the championship implications. “It’s an incredible feeling,” she said, her voice filled with excitement. “The team did a fantastic job, and the car was perfect. Of course, it’s unfortunate what happened to Charles, but this is racing. Anything can happen.”
Meanwhile, in the Ferrari garage, the atmosphere was somber. Charles, his face grim, faced the cameras. He was furious, and he didn't try to hide it. “I don’t know what happened,” he said, his voice tight with anger. “One minute I was in the lead, the next I was in the wall. It’s… frustrating.” He paused, then added, his eyes flashing, “And I’m sure some people were very happy about it.” The implication was clear. He believed Y/N had somehow been involved in his crash.
Later, in the paddock, Y/N was celebrating with her team when she saw Charles. He was walking towards her, his expression dark. She braced herself.
“Congratulations,” he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “I’m so glad my misfortune brought you such joy.”
Y/N’s smile faltered. “Charles, I…”
He cut her off. “Don’t even,” he spat. “You know what you did.”
“I didn’t do anything!” Y/N protested, her voice rising. “It was an accident.”
“An accident that conveniently took me out of the race and handed you the win?” He scoffed. “Don’t play dumb. You’ve been trying to sabotage me since we were kids.”
Y/N’s eyes started to sting. “That’s not true,” she whispered.
“Oh, please,” Charles sneered. “You’re just as bad as everyone else in this paddock. A fake, just like the rest.”
His words hit her hard. Y/N’s throat tightened, and she blinked back tears. She couldn't believe he was saying these things. She turned away, unable to face him any longer.
Charles watched her go, his anger slowly giving way to a gnawing guilt. He knew he had been harsh, but the frustration of the race and the suspicion that she was involved clouded his judgment. Seeing her almost cry made him feel terrible. He had gone too far.
He watched her walk away, his heart heavy. He knew he needed to apologize, but the words seemed to catch in his throat. The rivalry, the pressure, the constant need to win – it had all boiled over. He had let his anger get the better of him, and he had hurt her. He knew he had to make things right, but he didn’t know how.
The days following the race were a blur of media scrutiny and strained interactions. Y/N, despite her victory, couldn't shake off Charles's harsh words. She avoided him at all costs, dodging interviews where they might be paired together, and slipping away from events early to avoid any chance encounters. The media, ever eager for a rivalry narrative, continued to pit them against each other, twisting their every word and action into fuel for the fire.
Charles, meanwhile, was consumed by guilt. He knew he had messed up, and he desperately wanted to apologize. But Y/N was making herself scarce. He tried texting, calling, even leaving messages with her team, but she remained elusive. The more she avoided him, the worse he felt. The rivalry that had once seemed so exhilarating now felt like a heavy weight, dragging him down.
One evening, seeking solace and advice, Charles found himself at his mother’s apartment in Monaco. Over a plate of her famous pasta al pesto, he confessed his troubles. He recounted the events of the race, the crash, the post-race confrontation, and his failed attempts to apologize.
Pascale Leclerc listened patiently, her expression a mixture of concern and disapproval. “Charles,” she said gently, “I never liked this rivalry between you and Y/N.”
Charles frowned. “What do you mean?”
“It’s always seemed so… forced,” she explained. “You two are so alike, so passionate about racing. I always thought you could be friends.”
Charles scoffed. “Friends? With Y/N? That’s impossible.”
Pascale smiled. “You might be surprised. You know, her mother and I have been friends since we were young, back when you and Y/N were just starting out in karts.”
Charles’s eyebrows shot up. “Really? I had no idea.”
“Yes,” Pascale continued. “And Y/N always spoke very highly of you. She admired your talent, your drive. She always looked forward to racing against you.”
Flashback – Y/N’s Childhood Home, Age 8
A young Y/N burst through the door, her face flushed with excitement. “Mama!” she exclaimed, “I raced against Charles Leclerc today!”
Her mother, smiling, knelt down to her level. “Oh, really? And how did it go?”
“He’s so fast!” Y/N gushed. “He almost beat me, but I managed to win! He’s the only one who can really challenge me. It’s so much fun racing against him!”
Her mother chuckled. “Well, that’s wonderful, sweetheart. It sounds like you’ve found a worthy rival.”
Y/N nodded enthusiastically. “He’s the best! I can’t wait to race him again!”
End Flashback
Charles sat stunned. He had always assumed Y/N hated him, just as he had pretended to hate her. The idea that she had admired him, looked up to him, was a revelation. It made the guilt he was feeling even more acute.
“Charles,” his mother said softly, “you need to apologize to Y/N. Properly this time. And maybe… maybe you could even try being friends.”
Charles looked at his mother, his heart filled with a strange mix of hope and trepidation. Could he really be friends with Y/N? After all these years of rivalry and animosity, was it even possible? He didn't know the answer, but he knew one thing for sure: he had to try.
The paddock at the next race weekend was a hive of activity, but Charles wasn't focused on the usual pre-race buzz. He was searching for Y/N. Armed with his mother's words and a newfound determination, he was on a mission to apologize. He scanned the crowds, checked the usual haunts, even peeked into the Red Bull hospitality area, but she was nowhere to be found.
Finally, after a frustrating hour of searching, he spotted her. She was tucked away behind a storage building, her shoulders shaking with silent sobs. Charles's heart clenched. He approached cautiously, his own emotions a confusing mix of guilt, concern, and a strange tenderness he couldn't quite explain.
He slid down the wall beside her, the silence stretching between them. "I know I'm the last person you want to see," he began, his voice barely a whisper.
Y/N sniffled, wiping her eyes with the back of her hand. She looked up at him, her expression a mixture of surprise and resentment. "What do you want, Charles?"
"I… I wanted to apologize," he said, his voice earnest. "For what I said after the last race. I was angry, frustrated… I didn't mean any of it."
Y/N remained silent, her gaze fixed on the ground.
"I was a jerk," Charles continued, "and I'm truly sorry. It's just… this rivalry, the pressure… it gets to me sometimes."
He hesitated, then added, "My mom told me about your mom, about how you used to admire me when we were younger. It made me realize how stupid this whole feud has been."
Y/N finally looked up at him, her eyes red-rimmed but curious. "You… you knew about that?"
Charles nodded. "It made me feel even worse about how I acted. I never realized… I always thought you hated me."
"I didn't hate you," Y/N said softly. "I… I admired you. But then, as we got older, the teams, the media… they made it seem like we had to be enemies. And I started to believe it."
She took a deep breath, then confessed, "It's hard, you know? Being the only girl on the grid. The pressure to prove myself, to represent women… it's a lot sometimes."
Charles listened intently, his heart aching for her. He had never considered the unique challenges she faced. He had been so caught up in his own world, his own ambitions, that he had failed to see hers.
"I get it," he said, his voice gentle. "It's tough. But you're doing amazing. You're talented, you're strong… you deserve to be here."
Y/N smiled weakly. "Thanks, Charles."
They sat in silence for a moment, the weight of their years-long rivalry slowly lifting. They had both been so caught up in the game, in the pressure to win, that they had lost sight of the person on the other side.
"You know," Charles said, a small smile playing on his lips, "we were pretty ridiculous as kids."
Y/N laughed, a genuine laugh that made Charles's heart soar. "We really were."
Flashback – Karting Track, Monaco, Age 9
A young Charles found Y/N sitting behind a stack of tires, tears streaming down her face. She had spun out of the lead on the last lap, handing the win to another driver.
Charles, despite their rivalry, felt a pang of sympathy. He sat down beside her, awkwardly patting her shoulder. "Hey, it's okay," he mumbled. "It happens to everyone."
Y/N sniffled, looking up at him with tear-filled eyes. "But I was so close," she whispered.
"You'll get them next time," Charles assured her. He felt his cheeks flush, suddenly aware of how close they were.
Y/N nodded, wiping her eyes. "Yeah, you're right." She looked at him, a shy smile forming on her lips. "Thanks, Charles."
"No problem," he mumbled, his own cheeks burning.
They sat in silence for a moment, the awkwardness hanging heavy in the air. Finally, Y/N spoke. "Let's… let's never talk about this again."
Charles nodded eagerly. "Deal."
They both knew this shared moment of vulnerability was something to be kept secret, hidden away from the prying eyes of their competitive world. And beneath the embarrassment, a tiny seed of something else was planted, a secret crush that neither of them dared to acknowledge.
End Flashback
As the memory faded, Charles and Y/N looked at each other, a shared smile passing between them. The years melted away, and for the first time, they saw each other not as rivals, but as something more.
The atmosphere between Charles and Y/N had undergone a palpable shift. The animosity that had defined their interactions for so long was gradually replaced by a tentative warmth. They started acknowledging each other in the paddock, exchanging brief smiles and nods. The tension was still there, a lingering echo of their past rivalry, but now it was laced with something new, something that felt… exciting.
The media, ever eager for a story, noticed the change. Speculation ran rampant. Were they friends now? Was there something more? The questions were relentless, but Charles and Y/N remained tight-lipped, their newfound connection something they wanted to protect from the prying eyes of the world.
After a particularly thrilling race in Monza, where they both landed on the podium – Charles in second, Y/N in third – he finally decided to take a chance. As they were walking back to their respective motorhomes, he caught up to her.
"Hey," he said, a nervous flutter in his stomach.
Y/N turned, her eyebrows raised in surprise. "Charles? What's up?"
"I was wondering… maybe we could… exchange numbers?" he blurted out, mentally cringing at his own awkwardness.
Y/N's lips curved into a playful smile. "Took you long enough," she teased, pulling out her phone.
Charles grinned, relief washing over him. He quickly typed in his number and sent her a message. "There. Now we can officially trash-talk each other without the media eavesdropping."
Y/N laughed. "Oh, I'm sure you'll find plenty of creative ways to annoy me, even in private."
And so began a new chapter in their relationship. At first, their texts were mostly about racing – analyzing strategies, debating tire choices, sharing the occasional frustrated rant about their respective teams. But gradually, Charles started venturing into more personal territory.
Charles: How was your day? Aside from the usual media circus, of course.
Y/N: Surprisingly productive. Managed to squeeze in a sim session AND a pilates class. Feeling very virtuous. How about you? Ferrari not driving you crazy yet?
Charles: Ha, you know they are. Vasseur keeps trying to make me eat quinoa. I tell him I need carbs for fuel, but he doesn't listen. Send help.
Y/N: Maybe you should try hiding the pasta under the quinoa. Stealth carbs.
Charles: Genius! You're a lifesaver. Speaking of saving… any chance you're free for dinner sometime? Strictly professional, of course. We could discuss… tire degradation. Yeah, tire degradation.
Y/N: Hmm, tire degradation, you say? Sounds riveting. But I might be persuaded. How about Friday night? I know this amazing little trattoria that makes killer carbonara.
Charles: It's a date… I mean, a meeting. About tires. Definitely about tires.
Y/N chuckled as she read his message. He was so bad at this, and yet, so endearing. She couldn't wait for Friday night. This new, unexpected chapter in their story was proving to be far more interesting than the old rivalry ever was.
The paddock was abuzz with its usual pre-race frenzy, but this time, there was an extra layer of anticipation in the air. All eyes were on Charles and Y/N as they approached each other near the Ferrari garage. The tension was palpable, not the hostile kind that had characterized their past interactions, but a different sort, charged with an unspoken energy.
Charles, his heart pounding in his chest, reached out and pulled Y/N into a hug. It was a spontaneous gesture, fueled by a mix of nerves and a growing affection he could no longer deny. Y/N, surprised at first, relaxed into his embrace, the warmth of his body a comforting presence amidst the chaos of the race weekend.
The hug lasted only a few seconds, but it felt like an eternity. When they finally pulled away, the paddock had fallen silent. Every driver, mechanic, and journalist within sight had witnessed the unexpected display of affection. Cameras flashed, capturing the moment for posterity. The whispers started immediately, spreading like wildfire through the tight-knit community.
After the race, where Charles finished a respectable fourth and Y/N a close fifth, he was bombarded with questions. His fellow drivers, a mix of curious and amused, couldn't resist poking fun at the situation.
"So, Leclerc," Pierre Gasly grinned, nudging him with his elbow, "are you and Y/N still rivals, or are we witnessing the beginning of a beautiful romance?"
Charles, his cheeks flushed, remained tight-lipped. He wasn't ready to share his feelings with the world, not yet. But the sparkle in his eyes and the slight curve of his lips betrayed his happiness.
That evening, Charles prepared for his date with Y/N with a mix of excitement and trepidation. He chose his outfit carefully, opting for a stylish yet casual ensemble that he hoped would impress her. He picked her up in his sleek Ferrari, the purr of the engine a symphony to his ears.
As Y/N emerged from her apartment building, Charles's breath caught in his throat. She was breathtaking. A simple black dress hugged her curves, her hair cascaded down her shoulders in soft waves, and her eyes sparkled with a mischievous glint. He couldn't believe he was lucky enough to be going on a date with this incredible woman.
He drove them to a renowned restaurant nestled in the heart of Monaco, a place known for its exquisite cuisine and intimate atmosphere. He had reserved a private room, wanting to ensure their conversation remained undisturbed.
As they settled into their seats, the initial awkwardness was undeniable. They started with safe topics, discussing the intricacies of tire compounds and the challenges of the upcoming race in Singapore. But as the wine flowed and the delicious food arrived, their conversation took a lighter turn.
"You know," Y/N chuckled, "the whole paddock thinks we're dating now."
Charles grinned. "Well, they're not entirely wrong, are they?"
Y/N raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk on her lips. "Oh? And what exactly are we then, Mr. Leclerc?"
Charles leaned forward, his eyes sparkling. "I don't know yet, Miss Y/L/N. But I'm certainly enjoying finding out."
He paused, then added, "And for the record, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if they were right."
Y/N's heart skipped a beat. She met his gaze, a warmth spreading through her chest. "No," she agreed softly, "it wouldn't be the worst thing at all."
A comfortable silence settled between them, filled with unspoken possibilities. They continued to chat, sharing stories about their childhoods, their families, their dreams for the future. The conversation flowed effortlessly, punctuated by laughter and genuine connection.
As the evening drew to a close, Charles walked Y/N back to her apartment. They stood on the doorstep, the city lights twinkling around them. The air was thick with unspoken emotions.
"I had a wonderful time tonight, Charles," Y/N said, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Me too, Y/N," he replied, his gaze locked with hers. He wanted to kiss her, but the fear of ruining the moment held him back.
Instead, he reached out and gently tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "Can I see you again?" he asked, his voice filled with hope.
Y/N smiled, a radiant smile that lit up her face. "I'd like that very much."
he rain hammered against Y/N's windows, a relentless drumming that mirrored the panic rising in her chest. A pipe had burst in the apartment above hers, and water was cascading down into her living room, soaking everything in its path. Furniture was ruined, her belongings were drenched, and the floor was quickly becoming a small, indoor lake. She frantically called her landlord, but they were unreachable. She was alone, stranded in her flooded apartment with no idea what to do.
Her mind raced, searching for a solution. Then, a name popped into her head: Charles. He was the closest person she knew in Monaco, and despite their still-relatively-new connection, she trusted him. Hesitantly, she pulled out her phone and typed a message:
Y/N: SOS! My apartment is flooding. Pipes burst upstairs, and it’s a disaster. Any chance I could crash at your place for a few days until I can sort things out?
She hit send, her heart pounding with a mix of hope and anxiety. Within minutes, Charles replied:
Charles: Absolutely! Of course, you can stay here. Don’t worry about a thing.
Relief washed over Y/N. She quickly gathered a few essentials, stuffing them into a duffel bag.
Meanwhile, at Charles's apartment, a flurry of activity was underway. He had received Y/N's message while he was relaxing after a long day at the simulator, and he immediately sprang into action. He cleaned every inch of his apartment, scrubbing, dusting, and rearranging furniture to make it as welcoming as possible. He wanted everything to be perfect for his unexpected guest.
Just as he was finishing up, his mother, Pascale, arrived, carrying a basket of freshly baked madeleines. "Charles, darling, I just wanted to drop these off," she said, beaming. She noticed the immaculate state of his apartment and raised an eyebrow. "My, my, you've been busy. Expecting company?"
Charles blushed slightly. "Yes, Mom. A friend is going to be staying with me for a few days."
Before Pascale could ask any further questions, the doorbell rang. Charles opened the door to find Y/N standing there, her duffel bag slung over her shoulder. Pascale's eyes widened in surprise and then lit up with excitement.
"Y/N! What a lovely surprise!" she exclaimed, embracing her warmly. "Charles has told me so much about you."
Y/N smiled, feeling a bit overwhelmed by Pascale's enthusiasm. "It's nice to finally meet you properly, Mrs. Leclerc," she said.
Pascale chatted with Y/N for a few minutes, making her feel comfortable and welcome. She then glanced at Charles, a knowing smile on her face. "Well, you two have fun," she said, winking. "I should get going. Charles, darling, don't forget to offer Y/N some of my madeleines!"
As Pascale left, Charles and Y/N stood in the hallway, a comfortable silence settling between them. "Make yourself at home," Charles said, gesturing towards the living room. "The guest room is just down the hall."
"Thank you, Charles," Y/N said, her voice filled with gratitude. "I really appreciate you doing this for me."
"Don't mention it," Charles replied, his eyes sparkling. "I'm happy to help."
Later that evening, after Y/N had settled in, they decided to cook dinner together. Charles, despite his earlier claims about needing carbs for fuel, turned out to be a surprisingly good cook. They prepared a simple but delicious pasta dish, laughing and chatting as they worked side-by-side in the kitchen.
They ate their dinner on the couch, watching a movie that neither of them was really paying attention to. Y/N, feeling relaxed and comfortable in Charles's presence, gently stretched her legs out, placing them on top of his. Charles didn't flinch. Instead, he got up and grabbed a soft blanket, carefully draping it over his lap and Y/N's legs.
They sat in comfortable silence, the warmth of the blanket and the closeness of their bodies creating a cozy atmosphere. Y/N's eyelids started to feel heavy, and she moved her body closer to Charles and leaned her head against Charles's shoulder. He gently placed an arm around her, pulling her closer.
Soon, Y/N had fallen asleep, her breathing soft and even. Charles watched her, his heart filled with a tenderness he had never experienced before. He carefully scooped her up in his arms, surprised at how light she felt. He carried her gently to the guest room, tucking her into bed and turning off the lights.
He lingered for a moment, watching her sleep peacefully. He couldn't help but smile. This unexpected turn of events had brought them closer than he ever imagined possible. He knew that this was the beginning of something special, something that went beyond their shared passion for racing. He quietly closed the door, his heart filled with a quiet joy.
A week had flown by in a blur of shared meals, late-night conversations, and stolen glances. Y/N's apartment remained uninhabitable, but she found herself strangely reluctant to leave the comfort of Charles's home. The easy banter and undeniable chemistry between them had blossomed into something deeper. Behind closed doors, they were openly flirting, their touches lingering a little longer, their laughter echoing through the apartment.
The Monaco Grand Prix arrived, casting a long shadow over their newfound intimacy. The pressure was immense, especially for Charles, racing on his home turf. As they arrived at the circuit together, the media frenzy was unavoidable. Cameras flashed, microphones were shoved in their faces, and the questions were relentless.
"Y/N, are you and Charles more than just friends?"
"Charles, is Y/N the reason behind your recent improved performance?"
"Are you two living together now?"
Y/N, ever the composed professional, handled the barrage with grace. "My apartment flooded," she explained with a slight smile, "and Charles was kind enough to offer me a place to stay. He lives closest to the track, so it's been convenient for both of us."
Charles, standing beside her, simply nodded in agreement, his eyes conveying a silent message of support. The speculation continued, but they weathered the storm, their bond seemingly strengthened by the shared scrutiny.
The race itself was a tense affair. Charles, starting from pole position, was determined to win in front of his home crowd. Y/N, starting a few rows back, was equally focused, eager to prove her skills on the challenging street circuit.
The roar of the engines filled the air as the lights went out. Charles took the lead, but Y/N was hot on his heels, her Red Bull car weaving through the narrow streets with precision. The tension was palpable, the drivers pushing their cars to the absolute limit.
Then, disaster struck. Y/N, pushing too hard to close the gap on Charles, misjudged a corner. Her car slammed into the barrier, the impact echoing through the grandstands. The crowd gasped, a collective intake of breath followed by a stunned silence. Charles, witnessing the crash in his rearview mirror, felt his blood run cold.
Ignoring the instructions from his team, he slammed on the brakes, his Ferrari screeching to a halt. He jumped out of the car, his heart pounding in his chest, and sprinted towards the scene of the accident. He reached Y/N's mangled car before the medics, his mind filled with a terrifying sense of dread.
He yelled for help, his voice hoarse with panic. Charles reached in, his hands trembling, and gently removed Y/N's helmet. Her eyes were closed, her face pale. Charles's breath hitched in his throat. "Y/N? Y/N, can you hear me?"
He gently shook her shoulder, his voice filled with desperation. There was no response. Fear gripped him, a cold, suffocating feeling. He felt tears prick his eyes, his vision blurring.
Suddenly, Y/N's eyelids fluttered open. She looked at Charles, a weak smile forming on her lips. "Hey there, Leclerc," she rasped, her voice hoarse. "Fancy seeing you here."
Charles's relief was so overwhelming that he almost sagged against the car. "Y/N! Thank God you're okay!"
"Well," she winced, "relatively speaking. I think I might have bent a few things."
Despite the pain evident in her voice, she managed to crack a joke. "At least I provided some excitement for the home crowd, right?"
Charles chuckled, his fear giving way to a surge of affection. "You always know how to make an entrance, Y/L/N."
The medics arrived, carefully extracting Y/N from the wreckage. Charles watched as they loaded her into the ambulance, his heart heavy with worry. He knew he had been disqualified from the race for leaving his car, but he didn't care. All that mattered was Y/N's safety.
He followed the ambulance to the hospital, his mind racing with a mix of emotions. He couldn't lose her, not now, not after they had finally found each other. He paced the waiting room, his anxiety growing with every passing minute. He needed to know she was going to be alright.
The fluorescent lights of the hospital waiting room seemed to hum in Charles's ears, amplifying the frantic beat of his heart. He was still clad in his racing suit, his adrenaline-fueled energy slowly giving way to exhaustion and worry. Hours had crawled by since Y/N had been wheeled into surgery, and every tick of the clock felt like an eternity. He couldn't shake the image of her crumpled car, her pale face, the fear that had gripped him when he thought he might lose her.
He closed his eyes, and a memory surfaced, unbidden.
Flashback – Karting Track, Italy, Age 11
Young Charles lay sprawled on the track, his kart flipped on its side. Pain shot through his ankle, and tears welled up in his eyes. The other karts whizzed by, their drivers oblivious to his plight. Except for one.
Y/N, despite being in the lead, slammed on the brakes, her kart skidding to a halt. She rushed over to Charles, her face etched with concern. "Charles! Are you okay?"
He shook his head, tears streaming down his face. "My ankle… I think it's broken."
Y/N didn't hesitate. She helped him limp to the side of the track, then flagged down a medic. She stayed with him until the ambulance arrived, offering words of comfort and reassurance.
"It's going to be alright, Charles," she said, her voice surprisingly gentle for their usually competitive dynamic. "You'll be back on the track in no time."
He looked at her, his heart filled with gratitude. In that moment, their rivalry seemed to fade away, replaced by a shared vulnerability and a surprising sense of connection.
End Flashback
Charles opened his eyes, the memory bringing a bittersweet smile to his lips. Even back then, Y/N had shown him kindness when he least expected it. He realized that their relationship had always been more complex than the simple "enemies" label they had worn for so long.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the surgeon emerged from the operating room. Charles jumped to his feet, his voice catching in his throat. "How is she? Is she going to be okay?"
The surgeon smiled reassuringly. "The surgery was successful. She has a few fractures, but nothing life-threatening. She'll need some time to recover, but she'll be back on her feet soon."
Relief washed over Charles in a tidal wave. He thanked the surgeon profusely, then rushed towards Y/N's room, his heart pounding with a mix of relief and a newfound urgency.
He burst through the door, his eyes scanning the room until they landed on Y/N, propped up in bed, looking pale but awake. He rushed to her side, his emotions overflowing.
"Y/N!" he exclaimed, taking her hand in his. "Be my girlfriend!"
Y/N, still groggy from the anesthesia, blinked at him in confusion. "What was that?" she asked, a hint of amusement in her voice.
Charles blushed, realizing how abrupt he had been. He took a deep breath, trying to compose himself. "I'm sorry," he said, his voice softer now. "I just… when I saw your car crash, I was terrified. I realized how much you mean to me, and I can't imagine my life without you."
He looked into her eyes, his own filled with sincerity. "Y/N, will you be my girlfriend?"
Y/N's heart melted at his words. She had never seen him so vulnerable, so open with his emotions. She squeezed his hand, a smile spreading across her face.
"Yes, Charles," she said, her voice filled with warmth. "I'd love to be your girlfriend."
Charles beamed, leaning down to kiss her gently. The kiss was soft, tentative, filled with a tenderness that had been simmering beneath the surface for years.
And so, in the aftermath of a terrifying crash and a heartfelt confession, their relationship took a definitive turn. The rivals, the enemies, the competitors… they were all gone, replaced by two people who had finally found love in the most unexpected of circumstances. The paddock would buzz with the news, the media would have a field day, but for Charles and Y/N, none of that mattered. They had each other, and that was all that counted.
A month had passed since the dramatic Monaco Grand Prix, a month filled with hospital visits, physiotherapy sessions, and a blossoming romance. Y/N had recovered remarkably well, her determination to get back on the track fueling her recovery. Charles had been a constant presence by her side, his support unwavering. Their relationship, forged in the crucible of adversity, had deepened, the layers of rivalry and pretense stripped away to reveal a genuine connection.
The Canadian Grand Prix marked Y/N's return to racing. As they walked hand-in-hand into the paddock, a wave of murmurs and whispers followed them. The media, alerted to their relationship, were in a frenzy. Charles and Y/N, however, seemed unfazed by the attention. They had faced scrutiny before, but this time, it felt different. There was a newfound confidence in their stride, a sense of unity that radiated from them.
The race itself was a testament to their resilience. Y/N, despite the lingering aches and pains, drove with a fierce determination, her eyes fixed on the podium. Charles, inspired by her courage, pushed his Ferrari to its limits. They battled wheel-to-wheel with their rivals, their shared passion for racing reignited.
As they crossed the finish line, Charles in second place, Y/N a close third, the crowd erupted in cheers. The post-race interviews were a whirlwind of questions about their relationship, their recovery, and their performance on the track.
"Charles, how does it feel to be racing alongside your girlfriend?"
"Y/N, has your relationship with Charles affected your rivalry on the track?"
Charles, with a grin, responded, "It's definitely a new experience, but I'm enjoying it. Y/N is an incredible driver, and I'm proud to be racing alongside her, both on and off the track."
Y/N, her eyes sparkling, added, "We're still competitive, of course, but there's a different dynamic now. We support each other, push each other to be better. And it's definitely more fun this way."
Their confirmation of their relationship sent shockwaves through the Formula One world. Fans rejoiced, the media went into overdrive, and their fellow drivers offered their congratulations. But for Charles and Y/N, the most important thing was the quiet understanding they shared, the unspoken bond that had grown stronger with every passing day.
As they left the circuit that evening, Charles at the wheel of his Ferrari, Y/N turned to him with a thoughtful expression. "Charles," she began, "I was thinking… maybe it's time we took the next step."
Charles glanced at her, a curious look on his face. "What do you mean?"
"I mean," she continued, "maybe we should move in together."
Charles was taken aback. "Move in together? Already? We haven't been dating that long…"
Y/N smiled, reaching out to take his hand. "I know it might seem soon, but it just feels right. We spend almost all our time together anyway. And besides," she added with a playful wink, "I've had a crush on you since I was eight, so I think I've waited long enough."
Charles's eyes widened in surprise. "You have? Seriously?"
Y/N laughed. "Yes, seriously. You were the annoyingly talented kid who always beat me on the track. How could I not fall for you?"
Charles grinned, his heart swelling with affection. "Well, in that case," he said, "I have a confession to make too. I've had a crush on you since we were kids as well. You were the only one who could ever keep up with me, the only one who truly challenged me."
He squeezed her hand, his voice filled with sincerity. "So, yes, Y/N. I'd love to move in with you."
And so, with a shared laugh and a promise of a future together, they embarked on a new chapter in their love story. The apartment hunt began, filled with playful disagreements about décor and compromises about closet space. But through it all, their love for each other shone brightly, a beacon of hope and happiness in the high-pressure world of Formula One. They had found their home, not just in each other's arms, but in a shared life, a shared dream, a shared love for the sport that had brought them together.

"Yes, it was very much an ad hoc sort of thing; nevermind governing ourselves, most of us barely wanted to work together. And well, we certainly resisted it for a time. Of course, this changed after the second world war... and that fact is part of the story, I'm afraid."
"As for Jupiter, I was exploring what the Asgardians were doing, and trying to help set up a university on one of it's moons. Not all of the places the Sons of Ether study are on Earth, after all."
"In any case, you have to understand the general mood of most of us after the wars. The first one was bad, but we only had one incident of someone trying to impose their will on reality by flying blimps over major cities. The second one was worse, because of how many people fell to what we call infernalism."
"I'm sure Gina has spoken a bit about needing to destroy such things when you find it, but infernalism doesn't just refer to demon worship. It would be rather strange for scientists to suddenly begin doing magic, after all. No, infernalism in our tradition, such as it is, means working against the universe itself; rather than trying to uplift humanity, actively trying to destroy it."
"The world wars were a time of widespread horror for us all, but the second had greater effects. Yes, we left the Technocratic Conventions over the first war, but understand that we weren't really enemies in the same way that we are now. Furthermore, we've always been a worldwide sort of group; we explored the world, and as a group we never particularly cared where you were from. But nationalism caused some ruptures. The first war was bad, yes, as we split apart in some places, but we mostly held together."
"The second war changed things. Many Sons of Ether felt that they needed to support their home countries, whether that was Italy, or Germany, or Russia, or wherever. This wasn't about winning, mind you. It was a belief that if they didn't join, that the Technocratic Conventions would be unopposed in steering technological and social development."
"The miscalculation was how insane things would become. Many people want to claim that the man leading Germany was a mage, or a demon, or whatever else, but the truth is that he was a man, and unawakened at that. But the Sons of Ether who worked under him, much like their technocratic counterparts, fell to infernalism, and it is perhaps the only time in history that magic and technology opposed a single nation."
"Suffice it to say, by the end of the war, it was clear that we needed something to deal with things like this before they got out of hand. Every Son of Ether known to have participated was hunted down and dealt with, their names erased and their work destroyed. Rules were established, doctrines created, punishments levied."
"And the result was that the Sons of Ether of the 1950s, when Gina came into the picture, was not an organization entirely dedicated to free thinking as it had once been. Traumatized by war and horror, we became more conservative in our ambitions. Men like me ventured to the stars, away from people, not wanting to live in the world that had come to be. People like Gina..."
"Well, she was exactly the sort they didn't want to exist. Someone who was angry and hostile and filled with a sense that everything that was good about the world had been stolen away. She wasn't even enlightened yet, and already members were aware of her. After all, she sought them out to reveal them as frauds and worse, hypocrites."
Tumblr media
"R-Right, I remember learning something about the group being a little more wishy-washy back then in terms of structure." It felt like groups were always bieng rather loose in things like that: forming, splintering, gaining, losing..
"that certainly..sounds frustrating." She would probably bang her head against the wall too. "without deep space probes..or brain mapping projects, or genetic mapping projects, or work on subatomic physics...it does sound like you would run out of places to go.
...Wait, what were you doing around jupiter?"
"...Something to be decided? That does not sound very healthy - is science not meant to be grasping a better understading about how the owrld works? Although I suppose with this talk of paradigms, that makes things harder-"
"..So what happened with her? What did she do?"

Your alarm goes off - 8:30am. You groan. Your head is pounding and the sun shining into your room is just way too bright. Your stomach turns and you close your eyes to escape the wave of nausea. You slowly sit up and search for your phone on the nightstand. It feels like your head is going to explode. You reach out and unlock the screen, turning your alarm off.
It's way too early. And you drunk way too much last night. It was a chaotic but nice yesterday, a night full of laughter, way too much alcohol and karaoke. Your best friend celebrated her birthday and you promised to go to your favorite bar with her. You have to smile when you think back to the night and start checking your messages. You see that she already texted you this morning to find out how you are doing.
How are you?
I have the worst headache after last night
It was fun though, wanna go again tonight?
Just kidding, I feel like I need a week to recover from this
You can’t help but laugh and answer her quickly. You are about to put your phone away to finally get ready when a new chat catches your eye. You freeze in shock. It’s your Professors name. The one you’ve been crushing on since you saw him for the very first time.
Back when you found out that you were getting a new professor, you didn't expect much, a lecture like any other with someone who was only concerned with reciting his material. But then he entered. He came through the door and for a moment it seemed as if time stood still. The room, which had just been immersed in the murmur of conversation, suddenly became silent.
He was tall - taller than you expected and his presence filled the room in a way that you couldn't put into words. He wore a simple but elegant suit that somehow effortlessly fit him perfectly. His hair was a little longer, curly and fell slightly over his forehead. And then he looked up. His big, brown eyes met yours and in a split second everything became clear to you. You immediately knew you wanted, needed, this man.
Now you stare at the chat in complete horror. He recently gave you his number for a project. That's how this whole texting thing could even happen. Your heart is pounding in your chest. Obviously you can't remember texting him. You were so drunk yesterday that you can't even remember how you got home.
You open the chat - and your heart stops for a moment. It wasn't just a message that you sent him. It was a photo. Of you, in lingerie. It’s one of your favorite sets, you got it a couple of weeks ago. "I wore this for you today, Professor. Do you like it?” You wrote in addition to the photo.
Oh God. Oh God. Oh God. You just stare at the screen, the picture of you that you should never, ever, ever have sent. And the worst part: He read it. But didn't reply. Confusion and panic spreads through you. You jump out of bed, your feet barely finding purchase on the floor, and your heart keeps racing. You try to think clearly, but your thoughts are a complete mess.
You reach for your phone again and frantically tap on the chat with your best friend, but you pause and call her instead. "Hello?" Her voice still sounds sleepy and hungover. “Oh my God, I need your help!" you gasp and immediately start telling her everything.
The line is silent, then you hear a short laugh. "Wait a minute... what? You did that?" You close your eyes and search for the right words. But before you can say anything, it hits you like a blow. You also have a lecture with him today.
"I’m not coming today," you tell her. “You can't just cancel!" she says immediately, and you hear her getting herself settled in her bed. Her voice sounds determined, but also worried. "You know how it is, our seminar today. We can't miss it. We said that celebrating wouldn't stop us," she says. "Celebrating isn't what would stop me either. Seeing him definitely is," you say and lean back with a groan.
You close your eyes and sink even deeper into the pillows. Your stomach clenches when you think about it. She’s right, You really have to go today. But the text, the picture that you sent him - what if he wants to talk to you about it? Or worse, he reports the whole thing?
"I can't just sit in front of him today and pretend that everything is normal. I sent him a picture of me in lingerie... I can't face him. It's just... it's just too much!" There is silence on the other end of the line for a moment. She still hasn't said anything, and you know she's thinking. Then you hear her take a deep breath.
“Okay, the thing with the picture, that's really... a little crazy. But hey, you can skip the lecture. Just disappear after the seminar and then hide in your apartment. Or you can go and hope that when you run into him, he'll do completely different things after you seeing this photo. I bet you looked hot, was it the new set you recently bought?” she asks and you can hear her grin even though you're on the phone.
Obviously she knows about your crush on your professor. You couldn’t stop talking about him after your first lecture and she took every opportunity to tease you about it. You look at your phone as if it were the only thing that could help you think clearly. Of course she's right. You have to go to your seminar. And you can really skip his lecture. Still, the idea that he might be thinking about it makes your heart beat faster and not just in excitement.
“You're right, I... okay, I'll come," You say after a short pause, but the thought of maybe running into him still makes you nervous. “You'll see, it won't be as bad as you think. You'll get through the seminar, it's only an hour. And then we'll be out and we can take our time for everything else. And you'll just avoid your favorite professor today," she continues to teases.
“Today? More like forever," you mutter and finally get up, even though the thought of getting out of bed still paralyzes you. “See you soon then. I'll shower and get dressed now, then I'll come. Let’s meet outside the building, okay?" you ask. "Sure!" she calls out happily. "See you soon and don’t forget to wear another fancy set for your professor today. Just in case you run into him,” she jokes.
After you hang up you put the phone on the pillow and stand there for a moment, your legs heavy, your head still about to explode. But then you take a deep breath. It'll be fine, you just have get through the seminar. With a sigh, you go into the bathroom and take painkillers first. Then you start getting ready.
You turn on the water and let it run hot. A short time later, you go into the shower. The hot steam envelops you and slowly your body feels a little alive again. The nausea subsides and the hangover becomes more bearable. After the shower, you get dressed in peace - black skirt, a comfy sweater and your favorite sneakers. You quickly walk through the apartment again to make sure you packed everything and when you leave the house, you somehow feel less like a wreck.
-
The smell of freshly served pasta is still in your nose as you say goodbye. You got lunch together after your seminar and it was nice to get a little break and talk about everything that happened. Now you are ready to leave but you still have to go to the library to get a book that you need for your upcoming assignment first.
“I still have to go to the library," you tell her, pulling your bag over your shoulder. “Are you coming with me?” you ask her. “I’m sorry, I have to pick up my sister now. But be careful, you don’t want to run into your favorite professor, or do you?” she teases again. “I’m not going to run into him. I’ll hurry up and leave immediately. I’ll call you later. See you tomorrow," you say and give her a quick wave before you set off.
-
The campus is full of students rushing through the halls, carrying their books around or sitting in groups and discussing. You slip into the library and head straight to the section where the book you need is. Unfortunately it’s at the top of the shelf and you realize that you probably won't be able to reach it. You jump up a few times, but the distance between you and the book just seems too big. You sigh. If only you were a little taller.
As you attempt the jump for the third time, you suddenly feel a presence building behind you. One that seems familiar. Your heart beats faster and a nervous tremor takes hold of you. You turn around and stare straight into Professor Reid's eyes. He is standing just inches away from you and you can hear the soft sound of his breathing.
The look he gives you is almost piercing - warm, but somehow also searching. He leans forward slightly without saying a word and effortlessly grabs the book with one hand. You avoid his gaze as he hands it to you. “Thank you," you murmur, trying to hide the slight nervous tremor in your voice. He nods and stands still for a moment.
"You weren't at my lecture today." You stare at the book in your hands and feel your stomach clench. This is not good. “I..." you take a deep breath. "I haven't been feeling so good. My head..." He waits, his eyes still fixed on you, and you get the feeling that he wants to hear more. You feel his gaze on you and when you finally raise your eyes to look into his eyes, there is a silent understanding, and for a moment you wonder if there’s more. “Sick, or...?" he asks calmly. You hesitate and bite your lip.
"I went out partying with my best friend yesterday, it was her birthday… we drank a little bit too much and... well, I'm not feeling so good today. That’s why I skipped." His expression remains neutral, but something in his gaze changes. You can hardly believe it, but it's almost as if he's interested. He frowns slightly. "I understand," he then says. "But it's not ideal to miss class, especially when important topics are involved."
You nod. “I know, Professor. I won’t happen again.” You just want to get out of this situation, and as you try to take a step back he stops you. "No, wait. I need to talk to you." You pause and turn back to him. "About what? I don’t really have the time -" you begin, pretending you don't have any idea what he wants to talk about, when he cuts you off.
"Doesn’t matter, it’s important. We'll sort it out in my office." His gaze is intense as he steps towards you. The thought of him asking you to come to his office makes your heart beat faster. The idea of being alone in a room with him is tempting. "Okay," you say quietly, unable to prevent a nervous tingling from spreading in your chest. You follow him, even though your legs feel like they're made of jelly.
He leads the way, his steps calm and determined, and you can barely keep your eyes from lingering on his back. As soon as you reach the door to his office, he opens it and lets you enter first. You step in, your heart now beating loudly in your ears. The moment he closes the door behind you, you realize that it is more than just a conversation about the seminar.
The look he is giving you now is not the look of a professor. It is the look of a man who wants more than just academic discussions at this moment. And the thought that you’re alone with him in this room inevitably leaves you nervous and intrigued at the same time.
As the door closes behind you, you’re left breathless for a moment. His office is quiet, almost too quiet, compared to the crowded hallways outside. The room is sparsely decorated, except for the desk covered with stacks of paper and a few personal items. He is still standing at the table, his arms loosely folded in front of his chest and looks at you.
"Sit down," he says calmly, pointing to the chair on the opposite of the desk. You hesitate, then finally sit down, your heart pounding in your chest. The nervous energy inside you grows as you try to organize your thoughts. Before he can say anything else, you can’t hold it back any longer. The words come out of you hastily, almost in a rush, and you feel your body tense.
"The picture, it was a mistake! I didn't mean to... It wasn't meant for you. I was drunk, and it was stupid of me, really. I'm sorry." You look at the table, avoiding his gaze. But as you say the last words, you immediately notice how the atmosphere in the room changes. He remains silent for a moment, but then his body language shifts slightly - his gaze becomes more intense, the tension between you almost tangible.
"Hmm," he says after a pause, his voice deep and calm, "so the picture wasn't meant for me?" You flinch when you hear his question. What exactly does he want to hear? What does he want to know from you? You try to stay calm and answer hesitantly.
"It... it's none of your business." His expression hardens instantly. "It is," he says, and his voice sounds sharper, more determined now. "Because you sent it to me." Your heart beats faster as he continues. "I don't think it was an accident, even if you were drunk. You wanted to send it to me. And you did."
A cold shiver runs down your spine. You open your mouth, trying to say something, but you can't find a way to defend yourself. Instead, you just stay still, looking at your hands, which are resting nervously on your lap.
He laughs quietly, a mocking, almost challenging laugh. "So you're really sure it was an accident, huh?" He slowly leans forward, rests his hands on the table and looks straight into your eyes. The look in his eyes has changed, and something in his expression shows you that he is the one in control.
"Do you really think I haven't noticed how you look at me in class? How you keep watching my hands? How you press your thighs together when I approach you?" His words hit you and you freeze for a moment. Your cheeks burn hot, you feel your heart pounding uncontrollably, but you keep quiet. Everything inside you screams to defend yourself, but you stay silent because you know he’s right.
"I noticed from the beginning, angel," he continues, and a shiver runs down your spine. You can’t believe he just called you that. It turns you on immensely. "I know you didn't just do it because of the party and the alcohol. You also sent it to me because you wanted to." He leans further forward, his presence overwhelming, and you can't help but feel small even as you try to assert yourself.
You open your mouth to say something, but the words stick in your throat. What could you say? That he's wrong? That would be a lie. “You sent it to me," he repeats, his voice now almost like a command. "Because you wanted to show me. And I don't think it was an accident. You were drunk, yes, but you wanted me to see you like this."
Your body is paralyzed. It feels like the room has suddenly become smaller. You can hardly breathe. His words and his look have completely captured you in that moment. “I... uh," you begin, but the thought that he is in control, that he sees you like this at this moment, leaves you speechless and you’re unable form a proper sentence.
He remains silent, only his eyes continue to focus on you. "You have to understand that you can't just play with me like that." His gaze becomes more intense, and for a moment it seems as if he wants to say more but then he slowly stands up, walks around the table and stops right in front of you.
"I'll show you something," he says in a calm but unmistakable voice. "And you will understand why it wasn't just an accident." Your heart beats faster. His hand reaches for your chin, lifting it up and tracing his thumb over your bottom lip. Your breath hitches and you lean closer, craving his touch. “Get up and lock the door for me,” he says and pulls his hand away slowly.
You do as your told immediately and when you turn around, he is sitting on his chair with his legs spread. He looks so hot and you desperately clench your thighs together to relief the pressure between your legs. “Good girl. Come here,” he says and pats his thigh. You shiver in excitement and when he notices a grin spreads across his face.
You go over to him and when you stand in front of him, he pulls you down into his lap. He leans forward to whisper into your ear “That’s what you wanted, right? To be my good girl. That’s why you send me that picture. You wanted to end up here,” he says and places his hands on your hips. You press yourself closer against him and inhale his scent, he smells like cinnamon, peppermint and aftershave, it’s addictive.
However, you get interrupt by his hand reaching into your hair to pull your head back. You gasp in surprise and he leans closer to you, looking deep into your eyes again. “I asked you a question. I expect an answer,” he says and you can feel yourself getting even wetter. “Yes, that’s true. I - I always wanted that,” you manage to say and he releases your hair, satisfied with your response.
Then he leans forward and you finally feel his lips against yours. It’s even better than you always imagined and you start to grind against his leg, desperate to release the friction between your legs. But Spencer quickly stops you. “Did I allow you to move?” he asks and you shake your head.
He sighs in disappointment but before he can say anything you quickly answer him. “No, you didn’t,” you say and his grip on your hips looses a little. “That’s right. I didn’t. And you’re not allowed to move until I tell you to. You’re going to listen to me and do exactly what your told, do you understand?” he asks. “I understand.”
“See, it’s not that hard. You listen to me, you behave and you’ll get your reward. Now, do you want to ride my thigh?” he asks, his hand slowly sliding behind your back to your ass, squeezing it. “Yes, please. Can I?” you ask and he leans forward to kiss you again, his tongue exploring your mouth. When he pulls back you can see his eyes sparkling with lust. “So polite, I like that. Yes, you can,” he says and you finally go back to moving against his thigh.
It feels good, so good and when Spencer starts to slide one hand under your shirt to grab your breasts you press closer against him. You can feel that you soaked your underwear trough and wearing only a skirt, you can already see a small wet stain on his pants. His gaze follows yours and he chuckles. “Someone’s needy,” he says and you nod, leaning against his chest, grinding down more against him.
“Spen - Spencer, I’m going to come,” you whimper but he pulls you back by your hair again. “It’s Sir for you, angel,” he says and you correct yourself immediately. “Please Sir, can I come on your thigh now?” you breath out and he grabs your hips again, stopping you.
“No, not yet,” he simply says and you whine when he stands up and you lose contact. “But I thought - “ you start but he doesn’t let you finish. He turns you around and pushes you down onto his desk. “Doesn’t matter what you thought. I decided I’m not letting you come yet,” he says and flips over your skirt to expose your underwear to him.
“I see, another pair then the ones you wore yesterday. I’ve got to admit, I prefer the other ones, but you look pretty anyway, angel,” he says, sliding his hands over your thighs and your ass. “Last night when you send me that picture, I couldn’t stop thinking about you,” he admits and you can feel your whole body reacting to his words.
A wave of confidence flashes through you. “Did I keep you up last night, Sir? Did you have to stroke your cock while you looked at my picture? Thinking about all the ways you want to fuck me?” you ask him and turn your head slightly back to look at him with a smirk on your face. His eyes darken and he tightens his grip.
“Oh you have no idea, angel. I’m going to show you exactly what I was thinking about last night,” And suddenly you feel a harsh smack on your ass. He just spanked you. And you liked it. Your breath hitches and you bit down on your lip to keep quiet. You don’t want anyone to find out what’s going on in here.
His hand strokes the spot he just hit before going further down to pull at your panties. He takes them off and stuffs them into his pocket. You are convinced you’re not going to get them back. Then you feel his long, slender fingers sliding between your legs before he presses onto your clit. You gasp in surprise and try to press against him but his grip on your hips is firm, holding you still.
Then he pushes two fingers inside you. “So fucking wet.” His eyes wander over your body down to your legs hungrily, appreciating every curve and every spot. “I’ve never seen such a pretty pussy. And it’s all mine now. You’re all mine now,” he says. The way his fingers move and the way he stares at you intensely feels just way too good.
When his thumb goes back to your clit, rubbing it in slow circles, you can feel how your orgasm builds up inside of you and you can no longer hold back your moans. “Spencer - Sir, feels so good. Please,… I need more,” You clench around his fingers and he quickly puts a hand over your mouth to keep you quiet. “Shh, be quiet, angel. As much as I would love to hear all these lovely sounds you make, I don’t want to get interrupted. Not now, when I finally have you, after all this time.”
His fingers curl inside you and keep hitting your g -spot. You clench around them, he notices and chuckles. “Can I - please,” you stutter. “Yes angel,” he says, already knowing what you’re asking for and you come around his fingers. You never had such an intense orgasm from foreplay before, but you don’t mind. It’s even better than you always imagined.
He wants to give you a moment to recover but you want more. You somehow manage to turn around, even though your legs feel like they are going to give in any second and push yourself up on his desk. He looks surprised and opens his mouth to say something but you interrupt him by pulling him closer by his tie.
You wrap your hands around his neck and rank your fingers through his soft, brown hair before kissing him. You moan into his mouth and he groans, sending a shiver down your spine. “Thank you, Sir. That was amazing,” you say with a smirk on your face when you pull back. “Now is the time to lose your pants and relax, I want to return the favor.”
“As much as I want to see you down on your knees with your pretty lips wrapped around my cock, we don’t have much time left. Office hour starts in less than 30 minutes. And I need to fuck you. So drop it and spread your legs for me. Now,” he demands and you obliged, sitting further back on his desk with your legs spread.
He takes a step back and starts to unzip his dress pants. When he takes out his cock your eyes widen. He is even bigger than you expected. “Are you on the pill?” he asks while he starts to pump his cock. “I am,” you say. “Good. I want to fuck your pussy and then, since you suggested sucking me off, come inside your mouth. I want you to taste me. You don’t swallow until I say so. Do you understand?” he asks, sliding his cock through your folds to tease you. “Yes Sir, I understand,” you whimper and he wastes no time and pushes inside you.
His first thrust already make your eyes roll back and you feel like you’re going to die from the intense pleasure. Your legs wrap around his waits and your hands are on his back, pressing him even more against your body. Everytime a whimper or a moan escapes your mouth his thrust become deeper, rougher and faster. You can feel him throb inside you and he keeps hitting your g- spot over and over again.
One of his hand is sneaking through your breast, squeezing it and toying with your nipple. You graze his back with your fingernails and make sure to leave marks on him. Your mind goes blank and you lose yourself in the pleasure completely. After a few more thrust you can feel the orgasm building up inside of you. “Close,” you breath out and he nods. “Me too. You can come on my cock now.”
You let go and your orgasm is even more intense than you expected. You moan his name so loud that he quickly covers your mouth with his hand again. He picks up his speed and a few thrusts later he pulls out of you to shove his cock into your mouth. You can feel his cum inside your mouth and taste him, just like he told you to. He watches you closely the whole time while he recovers from his own orgasm.
“Now swallow,” he says and you do. Then he pulls you forward with both of his hands to kiss you. The kiss is different this time, more gentle and caring, not just full of lust. When he pulls back you both smile. “I guess sending you this picture was not bad at all. And I was so worried.” He laughs. “I’m glad you send it, angel. Now I finally have you all to myself. It's a shame I couldn't take more time for you right now. There's a lot more I'd like to do with you,” he says with a mischievous smile on his face. “Why don’t you show me after your office hours, Sir?” you say with a smirk on your face. “Make sure to be here on time, angel.”

~•♡•~ I Like It Long
➳ Summary: While out on a run, you and Michonne start lightly teasing Daryl for having his hair grown out. But there's a hidden reason as to why he won't cut it. (Daryl x Fem!Reader)
➳ Setting: Alexandria, post Savior war
➳ Word count: 1.4k
➳ C/W: Just smut n hair pulling
➳ A/N: This spawned from me writing the context plot of another fic and I was like… wait (And thank yall for the attention on that Mother's Day post??? Yall are so sweet 😭🫶)
My hair is really similar to Daryl's when it's partially or almost dry and it's actually my favorite thing about myself like xbsosjdjdneisnsiasjebeiisjabajissn
Tumblr media
You loudly banged your forearm against the glass door of a long abandoned drug store, not hearing any noise inside. Vines and weeds had grown through cracks in the concrete, winding up the sides of the building.
“Sounds pretty clear,” You shrugged, holstering your bow and opting for hand-held blades as Michonne pulled open the handle. You, her, and Daryl were clearing through a nearby town while out on a supply run, opting to make quick work of the task in favor of getting home.
You three entered the building, keeping your guard up in case of any straggling walkers that weren't roused by the initial attempts to lure them towards you. The interior wasn't large, so you could comfortably split off from each other and still be close.
“Seems mostly ransacked. Not much left,” Michonne commented, katana lowered but out in front of her. This had begun to grow repetitive and boring, energy matching the grayness of the lighting.
She took a pair of hair cutting shears off the shelf in front of her, holding them up to your gaze a few isles over. “Think he could use these?” She asked as a smile played the edges of her mouth, nodding back towards Daryl, looking for mischief. His hair had grown quite long over the course of the last two years, the tawny blond darkening into a rich brown, accompanied by a shaggy cut.
“Oh definitely. Jus’ gotta determine which onna us can hold him down long enough to cut it,” You replied with a chuckle, eyes following hers to where the archer stood at the endcap of another lane.
“Shuddup, will ya?” Daryl scoffed, shaking his head with grunt. His gaze didn't break from the advertisement in front of him, trying to ignore your antics. “Ts'fine.”
“Gotta make use of whatever supplies we find, no?” You continued your teasing, trying to hide the grin on your face at his reaction. “You were sweatin’ like a pig all summer, hair tangled all over yer face ‘n what not. When was the last time you cut it?”
“Don’ kno’, don’ care,” He grumbled, and you eyed Michonne again. It's definitely been since the prison, at least. He moved on from the stand. “Plus, winter up ‘ere's gon be colder. Will keep me warm.”
“Daryl, you're ‘bout the only one who didn't freshen up since we got to Alexandria. Don't you at least want a trim?” Michonne pestered, raising her eyebrows at him and shifting her weight to one leg. “You remember Rick's whole hobo-beard.”
“Ain't got no ‘hobo-beard’.”
“But you do look like the only ‘scissors’ you know is the recently searched on your go to porn site,” Michonne chaffed, barely able to contain herself.
Daryl froze for just a second, face flushing as his head whipped to stare back at her. And you two burst out laughing, to which his expression soured.
“Give it up, alrigh’?! Ain't nothin’ wrong with mah hair!” He snapped, accent thick with embarrassment, bowing his head slightly in an effort to obscure it. He readjusted his hold on his crossbow. “Gon shoot tha botha ya.”
“Ay, ay! Jus’ sayin’. Rick scrapped the beard and… maybe you'll finally get some play too,” She winked, followed by a lighthearted snicker.
Daryl groaned again and rolled his eyes, beginning to walk off, but caught your gaze for just a second.
It's not that he didn't want to cut his hair - he didn't care about it – but he wasn't really allowed to either way. There was one major, sexy, moaning reason he didn't cut his hair.
❥-》》—————➣
“Oh, god, Daryl! Fuck! Don't stop… god don't stop,” You cried out, hands clutching his shoulders as your nails began to dig into his flesh. His grip on your hips was bruising, keeping you steady as he pounded up into you at a relentless pace. That grip was the sole thing grounding you in the reality of the present moment.
“Ain't gon stop,” He affirmed, voice gravelly. You moaned wildly, head weakly falling to his chest with exacerbated breaths, his own heaving against your temple. He leaned closer when he could, harshly sucking at your clavicle and boobs, leaving behind a litter of hickeys and little bites that colored you in reds and purples.
The springs of the bed beneath you sounded like they were gonna fold in on themselves, headboard sporadically banging against the wall as Daryl shifted down a little to hit into you at an angle, your clit brushing against him with each thrust. Your back arched overtop of him, shoving his dick into your belly.
“Baby, please… fhuuuckkkk.” You couldn't even think, every thought consumed by the feeling of him. The way he just destroyed you like it's an art he'd mastered, tip brushing against every sweet and sensitive spot inside you, walls desperately trying to cling on, balls hitting up against you, clit grinding on him, slickness coating his pelvis and your inner thighs, his clutch on you just so fucking strong.
You pulled yourself together, lifting your head to see him. His long hair was dark and dampened with sweat, matting up as it stuck to his forehead, obscuring part of his vision. But he was too focused on using you to fix it, didn't dare to remove his hands unless God willed him to.
You moved up, swiping it away, and his blue eyes instantly connected with yours, pupils blown with lust. He (somehow) sped up, starting to slam your hips up and down to meet him instead of just keeping them stationary, now just beating your cunt.
“Tha's it girl. Jus’ keep takin’ me good like tha’.”
His words made you shiver, and you partially fell forward again, nestling your face beside his and snaking an arm behind his head. Your fingers weaved through his messy hair, tangling at the scalp, then tugging harshly as another wave of pleasure ripped through you.
And he whined. There it is. His breathy gasps and grunts mingled with strained whines, and whimpers, as you pulled tighter and tighter at the roots of his locks. His face contorted, eyes nearly squeezing shut, that one vein bulging from his neck, directly on the verge of so much.
“Daryl… inside.., Dar-” You panted, cut off as everything went white and you hit your peak. Your whole body felt electrified, tensing, twitching, walls spasming, toes curling and claws clinging to his frame.
Daryl tipped over the edge almost immediately after, having just been waiting for you to cum first. He desperately pumped into you a few more times, before curving up once more and simultaneously ramming you down as he came deep in you, the warmth of his release spreading through your core, and he threw his head back with ragged breaths.
You were both left a sweaty mess, gasping for oxygen, feeling full and satisfied. Your muscles couldn't keep you up, and you collapsed onto him, loosening your hold at his scalp, his hold on your hips doing the same.
He recovered a bit quicker than you, bringing a hand up and brushing your own messy hair away the second he had the energy to do so.
“Ya alrigh’, sunshine?” He asked between hitches, hoping he hadn't been too rough. He soothingly rubbed his palm over the curve of your body where bruises were sure to form.
You nodded faintly, moving your head so you could breathe better, and you could feel him relax beneath you from the reassurance. He held you tenderly for a while, giving you time to regain your composure. Your eyes were closed in bliss. Few things beat the feeling of Daryl under you, rising and falling with his torso, hearing his low humming as he steadied himself – his softening cock still buried deep inside you, cum ever so surely beginning to dribble down.
You lazily remained in his arms, not wanting to deal with getting up, or the shower you two definitely needed. You took a strand of his hair, affectionately curling it around your finger like a tendril, then letting it go and repeating.
“Ya actually want me tah cut ma hair?” He eventually asked, thinking back to your light mocking from earlier, how you'd laughed as Michonne layered it on. It didn't matter much to him, he'd do whatever pleased you.
“Fuck no. Was just messin’ with you, Dixon,” You replied, kissing the skin of his collarbone right below you, and moving up to find his lips. “You know I like it long.”
The long hair suited him, he looked good with it. You loved to wash and play with it, brush and braid it while he laid in your lap. But mainly, it was easy to grab at, pull on – and close to nothing in existence sounded better than those whines and whimpers every time you did so.

SANTA'S CUMMING TO TOWN
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
—fushiguro toji x fem!reader
#TAPE NO 1 OF 'Tis the Season to be Naughty
—cw: breeding, santa kink (idk bruh i am all high and horny), mention on pregnancy, prone bone, raw sex, spanking, dirty talking, nick names. (art creds: yy6241 on ig)
—a/n: 1.2k words of everything that is wrong with me
Tumblr media
Christmas wasn't particularly the most awaited time of the year for Toji. You on the other hand? You made sure that your place looked like the Christmas Spirit threw up garlands, trees and cute lights all over.
"Can you pass me those lights?" you ask Toji who was hanging the pinecones on the tree.
"Tell me why we're doin' this again?"
"Because it's Christmas. It's the season of joy. Oh, by the way," you gently step down from the table that helped you a gain a foot to put on the decorations, "gumi's friends are coming tomorrow so make sure to dress up as a santa."
"What?" He is stunned. It's not that he doesn't like kids but to have all their excited eyes on him would give him quite the stage fright.
"Please Please Toji. I know you don't like this kinda stuff but gumi was so excited the other day to see santa."
"What's in it for me?"
"You want a bribe for dressing up to make your son happy?" Your arms fold against your chest and you look at him with a poker face.
"Of course. That little brat gets spoiled way too much by you. When's my turn?"
"Toji. It's either the santa costume or the shark costume and dancing on baby shark for an hour"
*GASP*
"Hope ya know Santa doesn't like you, sweetheart." He walks away after giving you a nasty look. You know he doesn't mean it. He is cute when he is all pouty.
The party felt like forever. You send Megumi off to Shiu's place with his son and his mom. They were gonna have a sleepover. Megumi was a raging introvert just like his father so him having a best friend was a big deal for you.
"So the dishes are done. The extra party hats are in the cupboard, the floor is clean and y—" You stop your moving feet and look at the view in front of you. "And Santa hasn't left yet."
"Well...I still have one bad girl on my list. Thought I'd take care of that." He steps closer. The heat emitting from his body already reaching to hug your skin.
"But I've been your good girl, haven't I?" your doe eyes flutter at him, your fingers curling his white faux beard.
"Nah sweetheart. You've been so bad. You've barely paid any attention to me all month. Don'tcha think ya should get punished for that?" His grainy voice grazes against your neck. You try so hard to come up with a quick witty answer to turn this into a wholesome conversation but that was down the drain the moment he put that thing on. You were never into the whole santa thing until now. All blame goes to the man underneath the costume.
"P-punished?" You clear you throat. "Like?" You wait for an answer but you don't get one. Well, at least not in words.
Toji picks you up bridal style and walks to the cozy mattress next to the christmas tree and the gifts.
"Gonna give you a full experience, doll."
Everytime you fuck, Toji's always the one to get undressed first. He is too impatient to feel you against him. But tonight, you're the only one getting undressed. Your dress pools on your stomach as calloused hands hike it up.
"Toj—"
"tsk tsk. address me properly, naughty girl."
"Santa! Need you inside me.
"Heh. Not so soon, darling. Gotta punish you first." In a split second, you're turned on your belly, face pushed against the pillow. Toji inhales a sharp breath watching your exposed ass. A quick spank is landed on your them, making your husband hard as your plump skin bounces.
"Look at'cha. Such a slut. getting all wet with just a spank? what you gon' do when santa fills up your hole, doll?"
*spank*
"Ah! Fuck. I am so sorry, Santa. I promise I'll be a good girl f'you" you mewl.
"Promise? ight. Let's test that." You hear him shuffle. His fingers unbuckle the comically large belt and tugging down the pants just enough to expose his throbbing cock. He pumps it a few times before slapping the precum covered tip on your butt cheeks, the slight wet feeling on your skin turning you on even more. Toji grabs a cushion and settles it between the floor and your stomach so your pussy is easily visible. It's shameful. You know you're so wet that it's traveling down your thigh and drenching the cushion.
You feel his cockhead rub against your slick, opening the folds.
"Shit. She's dripping, sweetheart. Don't even need to stretch ya tonight. You ready for Santa's cock?"
He doesn't even give you a chance to answer before he is slowly forcing it in your pussy. Emerald eyes not even blinking for a second out of fear of missing even a single frame of the way you swallow him.
"Fuuuuuck!" you cry out at the stretch.
"Attagirl. Took it all in once. Keep it up and I might take you off my bad list, baby."
He starts off a few gentle strokes to get you used to it all before he puts his arms on your back, pushing you further against the mattress as he starts pounding into you like an animal.
"Fuckfuckfuck fucking god! I love your pussy. You feel so fucking good. Ughhh"
"Ah! Ah! Ah! Santa, pl—please. You're so big."
"I know, baby. But—ugh—you're takin' me sooo well. Fuck! Yeah, baby c'mon. Grind that ass on my cock. Yeaaaah just like that fuck!"
"G-gunna cum, anh anh ffu—ngh," you cry and your tears are soaked by the pillows. In another second, you're coming undone on his cock, screaming his name.
"Good girl. Good. Fucking. Girl." Each word enunciated with a deep plunge in your shivering pussy.
"You've been such a good girl. Santa's gonna give you a gift." Toji picks up his pace again, rolling his hips faster, the faux beard chafing your shoulders as he is putting all his weight on you, all his instincts telling him to breed you.
"Gunna give my sweet doll the greatest gift. You better take it all. 'm gonna make sure your pussy does. goddaaaamn nghh—" A few more deep thrusts and soon he is losing his composure, cumming and painting your insides with his thick leak.
"You better return the gift in nine months doll." You're too fucked in your brain to even register what he said.
The next morning you're not even making eye contact with Toji, too embarrassed to accept you were turned on by something so innocent. Good thing Megumi comes by the door running, helping you avoid the situation for a little longer.
"Aww come here, my boy. Did you have fun at Uncle Shiu's?" He nods. His little arms coming to hug you.
"So what gift ya got brat?" Toji asks the little sea urchin.
"I got a pink tiger with a red color bow. He is the best. I named him Yuuji." You chuckle, wiping the drool from corner of his lips. "And we ate fortune cookies."
"ohh! what did your cookie say?"
"It said Santa will bring a little sister next year." Blood rushes to your cheeks, your face heating up at the little boy's innocent comment, sounding completely sinful after scenes from last night play in your head. You bite the insides of your cheek.
"Mhm. Hope he does, babe." He kisses the top of the boy's head and then your temple. Yeah he is not the Christmas kinda guy. But this might be his new favorite holiday now.

people will say "oh well it doesn't make sense with what's happened in angel season 4" and my friends i am sorry to say i simply do not give a shit. i finished season 4 and immediately forcibly removed all memory of it from my brain and overwrote it with the season 4 rewrite that only exists in my mind. if btvs wants to pretend that ats season 4 never happened then i am right there with it cheers i'll drink to that one bro
while I'm blabbering on about chosen I'm coming out as a chosen angel cameo apologist actually. firstly and most obviously it leads to the cookie dough speech which is like a brother to me it fought at my side in the war and i jumped on a grenade to save its life <3 but more specifically I think if you're gonna have one of the big emotional beats be buffy letting go of the failures of her past relationships and giving herself absolution for that and accepting that she has time to figure out who she is and what she wants... it makes sense for her to have that moment with the guy who's where that cycle started. thinking about "when I look into the future all I see is you" vs "I'm not thinking that far ahead. that's kind of the point" AUGH THE CATHARSIS OF IT IS QUITE GOOD ACTUALLY

No Germs Found
Spencer Reid x Female BAU Reader WORD COUNT: 1000+
Summary: You and the team are back in Arizona on another case, and when an amazing unfortunate mishap takes place at the front desk, everyone is forced to share rooms with each other.
Content Warning: non-sexual nudity, strong language in reference to the temperature, blushy Spence, mentions of heat stroke, pain from the heat, mentions of murder, slightly NSFW at the end, Spencer likes boobs- I MEAN WHO SAID THAT?
A/N This is kind of a continuation of another one of my works called Germs, but they don't necessarily need to be read side by side. There's only one mention of something that happened in the first part, and it's not really that important to the story, so...
────── ꒰ঌ·✦·໒꒱ ──────
None of you really anticipated being on another case so soon, at least not in the same place you'd just gotten home from a few days before, and the place you all seemed to... strongly dislike.
Maybe 'dislike' isn't the right word, but one thing is for sure — the moment you step foot off the jet, you feel like you're covered from head to toe in sweat, and your throat dried up like a fish in a desert.
Not to mention how you' were all stuck in a stuffy room all day, with crappy air conditioning that did absolutely nothing for anyone. So far you had practically nothing on the unsub, they were slippery as soap, and that stress — the stress of not knowing who they are, who they are going to kill next — has you in a very grumpy mood.
And despite the inconveniences, the day still somehow finds a way to get worse.
That much is clear as Hotch strolls up to our group of people with an annoyed look on his face — granted he almost always looks like that when we're having a hard time finding anything on the unsub.
"There was a malfunction in their system, and they overbooked their rooms," he says simply, only earning a choir of groans from us, "so we're going to have to double up tonight."
You throw your head back, a heavy sigh escaping your mouth. It's been a long day, and all you want is to lay around without your clothes on and go to sleep — but you can't exactly do that with someone else in there with you.
"You're free to pick your roommate yourself, but please, for the love of God, keep it professional," he finishes as he drops a small pile of numbered keys onto the little table in the reception.
Everyone immediately splits off into pairs, while you make no move to do anything, laying back on the armchair with your neck bent over the top, eyes closed against the white fluorescent lights.
"You know, frequent hyperextension of the neck can have negative effects on its structure and function," a familiar voice says from above you. "Around fifteen to twenty-five percent of North Americans experience lasting effects, such as chronic pain and nerve issues."
You peel your eyes open to find none other than the brilliant Spencer Reid standing over your head, dangling a key over your face, and just like that, all your apprehension melts away.
"Stop flirting with me, Spencer, it's incredibly unprofessional," you joke lightheartedly, a vibrant smile overtaking your face as you pluck the key from his fingers.
He doesn't seem to realize you're joking, though, because he immediately goes to defend himself, stuttering adorably and blushing firetruck red. "No, um, I wasn't — I would never flirt with you!" he tries to defend himself, only realizing a second later how it might've come off. "I-I mean I would, but that's not what I was trying to do."
You shake your head and laugh, standing from the armchair and threading your arm through his so you can lead him down the hallway towards the room you both would be staying in.
The room that was, technically, booked for only one person.
The room that only has one bed.
It's not like you don't want to share a bed with him, you're more worried that he might not want it, with his whole 'germ' thing. Not that he really seemed to care about that the other day, when he drank straight from your water bottle without a care in the world, then proceeded to ask you out on a date.
"I can sleep on the floor, if you'd like," he offers quietly as he shuts the door behind him.
You immediately dismiss that idea, shaking your head before the words are even fully out of his mouth. "You're not sleeping on the floor, Spencer, that's not fair," you say quickly, a sly smile tugging at the corner of your mouth. "That is, as long as you're alright with me sleeping in my underwear, because I will be doing that."
Of course you're half-joking — if there's any indication that he's uncomfortable with that idea you'll just sleep in a t-shirt and shorts, it's just that you'd much rather not in this heat.
"N-no, no," he says, his voice pitched just a little too high. He's blushing from head to toe, you know that without even looking at him. "You can s-sleep in whatever you want to, I don't mind."
It's entirely unprofessional, you know that, but you really can't help it as you instantly begin tearing your sweat-drenched clothes from your body, tossing them around haphazardly until you're left in only your bra and underwear. You don't waste another second, flopping onto the bed, briefly stretching your limbs out, then rolling to one side.
It's a relief to be out of those clothes...
Only now do you realize that Spencer has not moved an inch from were he was standing when you initially asked the question, face bright red, breathing uneven as he tries desperately to keep his eyes from dipping from your face.
"Come on, I don't bite," you say quietly, patting the empty space on the other side of the bed, meanly deciding it would be funny to tease him, "not unless you ask very nicely."
Nervously, he drops his stuff beside the door and makes his way towards the bed, siting on the edge of his side. You're sure you can see him sneaking glances down at your chest every now and then, when he thinks you're not paying attention.
Who is he kidding? You're always paying attention to him, clinging onto every word he says like you'll die if you forget a single one.
"Come on, Spencer," you urge, "you've literally shared spit with me, don't get all shy now."
You're phrasing it that way as a joke, and you're sure he knows that.
But the next words that come out of his mouth leave you stunned, mouth dropped open and butterflies stampeding through your stomach, heart beating a million miles an hour.
You're not expecting something like this to come out of his mouth, really, but after his strange confidence the other day in drinking all your water and asking you out, you're not sure what to expect now.
"Can you please bite me, then?"

Tumblr media
Winter had arrived with devastating speed and brutality in the North. The first heavy snowfall had destroyed the last remaining crops left out in the fields and the woodpiles stacked as high as two men and just as wide had looked like enough to see them through two winters but soon began to deplete at an alarming rate.
And when a great boar had been sighted at the edge of the Wolfswood, Lord Cregan Stark quickly called the men of his house to a hunt, knowing it was better to find the creature now and make use of it rather than let it be starved by the winter.
They had set out in the pre-dawn, 10 men of House Stark, wrapped in layers of leather, wool and fur, mounted on the most surefooted horses the Winterfell stables had to offer. Lord Stark rode at the front of the group, his steward and close friend Martyn Snow riding beside him, the two of them talking as they disappeared from sight.
Once in the Wolfswood Lord Stark had led the hunt, first on horseback as they tracked the creature deeper into the cover of the dense wood and then on foot, when the terrain had become too dangerous for the horses and the boar needed to be harried out of its hiding place.
Cregan had been moving slowly north, stepping over tangles of brambles and avoiding tree roots thicker than his thighs, the men of the group formed a large crescent shape as they moved slowly, hopefully driving the animal toward a clearing. One of the men at the end of the line gave a sharp whistle to indicate the group should stop, instinctively his head moved toward the sound and in that split second of distraction Cregan missed the rustling of dead leaves and the heavy breathing of an animal charging.
The great tusk of the boar gored his left thigh. Cutting deeply through the skin to the muscle beneath, bright red blood immediately falling to the leaves at his feet. The power of the blow from the animal knocked him off his feet and sent him slamming into the cold ground, the back of his head knocking hard against a tree root. The metallic stink of blood filled his nose as shouts went up from the men of the household, they abandoned the hunt and gathered around their injured lord.
“Get the beast,” was all he managed to say before the wintery sunlight faded from his view and he wasn't aware of pain or cold anymore.
Lady Stark watched the hunting party return from the covered walkway between the Great Keep and the Armory. She expected to see Cregan leading the party, a triumphant smile on his cold reddened face with the great beast slung over the back of his stallion.
Instead it was Cregan's steward, Martyn, who galloped in at the front of the procession, his horse wet with sweat, its nostrils flaring as it snorted. The animals rider didn’t look much better, the steward’s face was fearful and the same colour as the bark of the weirwood tree, his pale brown leather jerkin was darkened with blood.
“My lady,” he called when he saw her watching, “Lord Stark’s been hur’, cut by the boar. Please send for the maester,”
His words caused a lump of ice to form in her stomach, chilling her from her heart outward. There was always a risk when the men went hunting, and more often than not her husband returned home with some small injury or another but this had to have been serious. As she dashed into the Great Keep she caught sight of a wagon being drawn by two great horses, on the bed of the wagon a tangle of fur and blood, she fought a wave of nausea at the sight and ducked inside the keep.
Her feet were light and silent as she reached the maester’s chambers, not bothering to knock on the old man’s door she threw it open with a crash.
The maester was startled by her sudden interruption, jumping up from his stool at the desk with surprising speed and agility for a man who was nearing 70. He opened his mouth, ready to scold whoever had so rudely burst into his rooms, but his words died on his lips.
“Lord Stark’s been injured in the hunt,” she said, praying her voice didn't waver and give away the fear that was gripping her throat like a claw.
“Injured how?” The maester replied, moving toward the large wooden sideboard that dominated the room. On the shelves were jars, bottles and boxes containing every substance needed by a maester, and probably a few they didn’t need as well.
“Gored, I don't know where, they've just arrived back, please come now,” she said firmly, not willing to keep Cregan waiting.
The maester nodded and gathered his heavy leather case from the side, the bag was filled with sharp tools and simple herbs and mixtures for most every day healing.  He followed behind Lady Stark as she led them to the undercroft of the Great Keep, where there was a great deal of noise and disruption.
The undercroft was a dark, cool, enclosed space usually used for storage, most days it would only see one or two visitors but now it was alive as men lit torches around the walls while others heaved Cregan’s limp form onto the huge oak table that sat in the centre of the space. They stripped him out of his blood soaked outer clothes and left him lying in his linen shirt and woollen trousers.
The left leg of his trousers was ripped open at the mid thigh, revealing a 5 inch gash, skin and muscle had been torn apart and glistened dark red. A tourniquet above the wound had stopped most of the bleeding but his face was ghostly pale and his lips an unhealthy shade of blue.
Lady Stark moved slowly toward the head of the table where Cregan’s closed eyes made him look almost peaceful, the maester went straight to the wound and began cutting away at his trousers.
“Has he been talking?” he asked as he began to inspect the wound more closely.
“A little, but he was unconscious for a minute or so after it happened,” the steward replied, standing by Cregran’s right hip, wringing his hands together.
“Hello my love,” Lady Stark said softly, brushing her hand over his forehead, willing herself not to fall to her knees and weep when she felt how cold his skin was.
His grey eyes fluttered open and blinked slowly, trying to bring his wife’s face into focus, the world around him seemed to shift violently, left and right, up and down but her warm hand on top of his head held him steady.
“Now, what have you been up to?” she asked softly, as if addressing one of their children.
Cregan’s whole left leg throbbed painfully and his stomach roiled with nausea, he swallowed once, finding his mouth and throat dry.
“It's barely a scratch,” he croaked. Lady Stark gave a small huff that might have been out of amusement and stroked her fingers over the crown of his head.
“‘Tis a dreadful looking scratch,” she replied, “still, the maester’s here now,”.
Cregan hissed with the pain as the maester applied a green tinged ointment to the wound. Sweat broke out all over his body and he felt his hands start to tremble.
“Did they get the beast?” Cregan asked, once the initial wave of pain had passed and faded back into a constant throb.
Lady Stark glanced at Martyn who gave a small nod of his head.
“Of course, and you shall have the beast's head for your chambers if you want”.
He gave what appeared to be a weak nod before closing his eyes again and taking a deep breath. Cregan had known pain before but dislocated shoulders, broken bones and the sharp bite of Valyrian steel were nothing compared to this.
At his thigh the maester had soaked a small piece of linen in a clear, strong smelling substance that he placed over the wound before tightly wrapping a clean bandage before removing the tourniquet tied high up his thigh. As the blood was allowed to flow back into the lower leg the colour returned to the skin but there were no signs of excessive bleeding at the wound. The maeester turned his attention to Lady Stark.
“It’s as clean a cut as we can expect from a tusk, most importantly there’s no sign of dirt within, I have great faith that it will heal well,” the maester explained, wiping his hands on a clean piece of linen that was tucked into the belt at his waist.
“I'll go to my rooms now and make a poultice to fight infection and in the meantime he can be moved to his rooms to ensure he's comfortable,” he added.
With a small nod from Lady Stark the men still standing around the room went into action, they brought a stretcher and carefully moved Cregan from the table to the stretcher. He was then carried slowly through the Keep and up to his rooms. The masters chambers were the largest but the least used within the Great Keep, Cregan and his wife favoured the smaller but warmer Lady’s chambers, especially as they were the closest rooms to the children’s rooms.
Once he was settled on the bed she sent for two bowls of water and a cloth before stripping him of the last remaining pieces of clothing. Unable to lift him from the bed to get his shirt over his head she cut the fabric straight up the middle with a small knife, pushing the two halves over his chest and cutting the sleeves apart to expose his arms. She also had to cut away what was left of his trousers, finding some of the material stuck to his skin with blood.
Once he was as bare as the day he’d been born she soaked the cloth in warm water and set about washing him. Somehow the blood had managed to get up to his neck and down to the bottom of his left foot. She started at his neck, watching as droplets of reddened water ran down onto his chest and collected in the dark mess of curls that started at his collar bone, completely covered his chest and then funnelled into a thick strip that ran all the way down his stomach to the apex of his thighs.
“I swear you're more beast than man sometimes,” she said softly as she dabbed at his chest, lifting the blood from his skin and hair.
“It's the wolf in me,” he replied softly.
Her head snapped towards his face, she’d had no idea he was awake and seeing his soft gaze on her face brought a wave of emotion flooding through her body. The usual surge of love she felt whenever she looked at him, intense relief at seeing his cheeks a healthy flushed colour after how deathly pale he’d looked before and bubbling anger brought on by the extreme fear that still sat in her stomach like a block of ice.
“The wolf couldn't smell the boar sneaking up on you?” She asked as she felt tears burn her eyes. Cregan offered her a small, reassuring smile.
“The wolf is more,” he paused a second while he thought, “passive...”.
Unable to resist him, Lady Stark felt herself smiling and the two of them shared a laugh before she continued to wash him, revealing the pale skin under the dark curls and dried blood.
“You're lucky it wasn’t more serious,” she said softly as she wrung the red water out of the cloth into a mostly empty bowl before dipping the cloth back into clean water, “if it’d caught on the inside of your leg you'd have been dead before they got you home,” she added, an icy edge to her voice as the fear that had gripped her throat now throbbed behind her eyes.
“But I wasn't,” he placated gently, reaching out and taking hold of her wrist as she dabbed at his stomach.
“I'm fine,” he added when he noticed the tears gathering in her eyes and the angry wobble of her bottom lip.
She snatched the hand from his, throwing the cloth into the bowl of clean water at her feet. The water splashed up, catching the skirt of her dress.
“And what if you weren't? What if you weren’t fine?  Your son is barely 9 months old Cregan, do you expect me to hold the entire North until he comes of age? Fighting off every grasping lord from The Wall to Dorne trying to get to him and steal his birthright?” An angry tear tracked down her cheek.
“I cannot be regent, Cregan, I cannot be here without you,”.
He reached out again and took hold of her balled first at the wrist, bringing her hand towards his face, pressing a soft kiss to her curled fingers.
“And nor will you be,” he said softly, his lips still touching her fingers, “you and I are going to grow very old together, so old they write songs about us when we're all but turned to dust,”.
She gave a small, watery laugh through her tears and pulled her hand out of his again.
“Now you're just placating me,” she said, reaching into the bowl for the cloth and ringing it out.
“Of course I am,” he replied with a smile, stretching his right arm up and settling it behind his head, the bend in his arm causing his muscle to flex and bulge under his skin. Were it not for the bandage around his leg he would have looked as if he was just relaxing for the evening.
“I understand well that my most important duty is keeping you happy,”.
Lady Stark scoffed at him and returned to the gentle washing of his stomach. A small smile tugging up the corners of his lips as he watched her tending to him so carefully. He'd been in a fair few scrapes before this one and was always happy to be tended to by his wife, the mixture of her gentle hand and sharp words always made him feel better.
“Am I permitted to say how I'm enjoying your undivided attention?” He asked.
“You may not say it” she replied, flicking her eyes to his face and catching him grinning at her.
“I shall just think it then,”.
They both fell into a tense silence as her cloth inched closer to the bandaged wound. The maester had said he would come by later that day to stitch the wound closed once it had time to dry and he could be certain there was no rot. Sweat broke out across his body as her gentle touch began to feel like needles piercing his skin, he kept his jaw firmly shut, unwilling to let a single sound of pain pass his lips.
“Would you take something for the pain?” She asked, not needing to hear him cry out to know he was in great discomfort, she wrang the cloth out again wetted it with clean water again.
“I would rather keep my wits,” he replied, his voice strained.
“Then perhaps a little when we’re finished and you can rest?” She pressed. She knew he disliked the effects of milk of the poppy but seeing him in such pain made her heart ache.
“Perhaps,” he nodded before pressing his lips tightly closed, redoubling his efforts to stay silent.
She finished his bed bath at his left foot, cleaning the dried blood from the bottom of his toes and the ball of his foot. And all the pain that had passed before paled in comparison to the agony he felt as her hands gently tended the most ticklish part of his body. He fought with every ounce of willpower to stay still and not curl his toes and kick his foot out of her hands.
Once finished she rung the cloth out one final time before standing and carrying the two bowls of water across the room and setting them aside to be cleared away later.
“Will you sleep for a while? She asked him, moving back toward him and running her hand over his forehead before drawing a soft woollen blanket over his nakedness.
Cregan nodded, suddenly feeling exhausted and wanting nothing more than to close his eyes and sleep until the dawn of the summer.
“Alright, will you take a little milk of the poppy?” she asked.
He nodded again, opening one of his eyes to peek at her face.
“And a kiss to sweeten it?” He asked, letting the corners of his lips quirk up just a touch.
She laughed softly, taking the small bottle of white milky liquid from the table beside their bed. She unstopped it and helped him lift his head off the pillow, she held the bottle to his lips while he took a small swallow before dropping his head back onto the pillow with his eyes closed.
“And to make it sweet,” she said, bending and pressing her lips to his.
As she stood he opened his eyes again although she could already see he was fighting the effects of the milk of the poppy.
“Kiss the babies for me as well?” he asked.
“Of course,” she replied, stroking his forehead again and watching his eyes close as he finally gave in and allowed himself to be dragged into a dreamless sleep.
She watched him for a few minutes, keeping an eye on the steady ride and fall of his broad chest. In sleep he always appeared to be younger, his features softened as sleep took away the worries and the duties he carried on his shoulders every day.
Once she was happy he would sleep for a while and there was nothing else she could do for him, Lady Stark went in search of Martyn the steward, she knew he would be worried and was waiting for news of his lord and friend.
She found him outside the stables, running a brush over Cregan’s stallion.
“Is he alright?” Martyn asked as she approached him. There was a panicked edge to his voice and his face betrayed his worries.
“He'll be fine,” she soothed with a nod, “he's made of strong stuff,” she added as she placed a comforting hand on his forearm.
“I'm sorry he was hurt, my lady,” he said, already looking lighter knowing Cregan was alright.
“You've nothing to be sorry for, he's a man grown and it's his own fault if he doesn't hear a boar sneaking up on him,” she said, making her voice playful and teasing.
“I'll pray for him,” the steward said, returning to brushing the huge grey horse that stood patiently in front of him.
“Thank you, I know he'll appreciate that,”.
She stayed talking to the steward a little longer, the two of them discussing how to make the best of the creature that’d been killed that morning. The sky was quickly darkening and the air turning colder by the minute, although no new snow had fallen that day there was a crisp smell of it on the air and dark, heavy clouds covered the sky, threatening a heavy snowfall that night.
She left Martyn to his final tasks for the day and returned to The Great Keep, she went first to the nursery to look in on their children. The eldest, Aly, was playing on the floor with her nurse, the two of them racing carved wooden animals across the floor. She paid no attention to her mother when she entered the room, too caught up in her game, while their son slept in his cradle.
She lifted the boy from his crib and carried him to a chair beside the fire where she sat, focusing on nothing other than the small sound of his breathing and the tiny movements as his chest expanded and contracted with every breath.
After a few minutes Aly got up from her spot on the carpet, her wooden horse still clutched tightly in her small hand as she walked toward her mother.
“Where's papa?” She asked, coming to stand beside the chair, reaching out her own empty hand to take her mothers.
“Resting, the men went hunting this morning, do you remember?”.
“Will he put me to bed?” Aly asked, letting the toy horse drop from her hand with a small thud.
“Not tonight, I can do it tonight,” Lady Stark replied.
The girl sighed heavily, like she'd received some truly dreadful news, her small shoulders slumping.
“But Papa tells the best bedtime stories,”.
“I know he does, and I’m sure he’ll have a very special one for you tomorrow night,”.
After another heavy sigh Aly climbed up into the chair with her mother and younger brother, curling into Lady Starks chest and closing her eyes. The girl found a loose thread on the bodice of her mothers dress and begin to twist it around her finger, in a few minutes she too has slipped off to sleep.
The warm weight of her children soothed the Lady’s fractured nerves, this wasn't the first time her husband had returned home injured, his body was a tapestry of scars, each one she'd lovingly touched and kissed in turn, learning his scars as closely as a traveller learns a map.
When she heard the first spatterings of wet snow from the nursery window Lady Stark decided it was time for her to look in on her patient. Calling the nurse over and letting the young woman take the sleeping girl from her lap.
“Let her sleep a few more minutes, then wake her or she’ll never sleep tonight,” Lady Stark instructed as she stood and carried her small son back to his crib.
“And I'll be back to feed this one once I've looked in on Lord Stark,” she added, lowering him into the cradle and watching as he settled.
The nurse nodded and smiled softly as she lowered Aly onto her day bed, covering the girl with a soft embroidered blanket.
Cregan didn’t stir when the heavy oak doors of his chambers were opened and his lady wife stepped inside, she paused, watching him for a few moments to see that his condition was unchanged, the only difference was that he’d thrown the blanket off his body and was now lying naked, his whole body exposed to the cool air. Moving toward him she noticed his breathing was still easy and his cheeks were a healthy colour. She touched the back of her hand to his cheek and then his forehead.
At her touch his eyes flicked open and he blinked slowly as the world around him came into focus. He made a small sound of approval that rumbled up deep from his chest as his eyes focused on his wife.
“How are you feeling?” She asked softly.
“Better for seeing you,” he replied, his voice gravelly.
“You're a dreadful flirt Cregen,” she replied with a smile, knowing his ability to flirt was a far better indication he was on the mend than anything else would be.
“Come lie with me,” he said, choosing to ignore his wife's chastisement.
“Only for a few minutes,” she replied, moving to the other side of the bed and climbing on it, settling herself beside him and placing her head on his shoulder.
He wrapped one arm around her shoulders and encouraged her to roll onto her side, tightening her body to his in a familiar and comfortable way and she sighed contentedly. Her hand rested on his chest, her fingers pushing and playing with the dark curls of hair. Cregan turned his head and placed a soft kiss on her forehead, feeling the warmth of her body sink into his own flesh and bones.
“I should ban you from future hunts,” she said, her voice muffled by having her face squashed on his shoulder, “make you take an oath never to put yourself in such danger again,”
“Even for you, I could not swear such an oath,” he replied, kissing her forehead again and keeping his lips pressed to her skin, breathing in the familiar and comforting scent from her hair.
The two lay in silence for several minutes, Lady Stark listening to the steady and deep drum beat of his heart, the thumping sound reminding her that he was still alive, injured but alive and home with her and in their private moment it was easy for her to believe that was the only thing that mattered in all the known world.
“But I can swear, it will only be death that keeps me from you,”.

Toji and His Shy Girl
Tumblr media
"What are you doing down there?" Toji asks, finally giving in to the distraction of you sitting at his feet, rather than sitting next to him.
"I'm watching the movie," you respond, with an innocent amount of truthfulness. You don't turn around to look at him, so you're met with a poke to your shoulder. That instinctively makes you turn your head in the direction of the contact.
"The couch is too big. Even for me, doll. Come sit." He pats the spot next to him and shifts where he sits, as if making even more room for you.
Your eyes flit between him and the cushion for a couple seconds before you respond. "I'm okay staying here. I don't wanna make you uncomfortable." You smile, kindly, and turn back to face the screen again.
Toji's brows furrow in misunderstanding. He taps your shoulder again, receiving the same look when you turn, again. You tilt your head in question.
"You wouldn't be making me uncomfortable. Far from it, with the enormous gap of space that would be between us. What if I wanted you to sit between my legs, instead?" He catches the way your eyes widen for a split second, your inhibition cleared for the short span of time. "Come sit, baby," he repeats, this time patting the unoccupied space of the cushion he's sitting on.
You don't want to make him wait any longer. The movie is still playing, you'll both lose track of the plot if you take any longer. You stand from your place on the ground and move to sit next to him. As soon as you bend down to sit, his hands go to your hips and he pulls you so that you fall into the place he wanted you in.
"There you go. Now pay attention to the movie."
You try for him. You're trying so hard to ignore the pressure of his forearms around your waist, and the warmth of his wrists against the sliver of skin revealed by your slightly lifted shirt. You can occasionally hear him sigh through his nose, only further adding on to the tension you feel upon sitting between his legs. You don't even know how he's watching the movie. You feel like you're obstructing his vision.
The movie ends and you're left staring at the title screen.
"Okay, movie's over. You probably want me off-"
"No." His arms fasten even more around you. "I'm comfortable. Are you not?"
"N-No, I am. It's just... I wasn't sure if you wanted to keep me here for a whole other movie."
"I could keep you here longer than that, doll." He straightens his posture and readjusts your position, so that he's not slouching and you're not leaning back uncomfortably. He can feel the tension surface on your body as you go rigid in his hold. He can't help but let out a small laugh at how this detail never ceases with you. "Relax, baby. What's got you so nervous?" He rests his chin on your shoulder and turns to get a better look at your face. "Hm?" He plants a chaste kiss to your temple.
"Nothing, I guess. We're just watching movies," you say, more as a reminder for yourself.
"Mhm. Watching movies... on the verge of cuddling..." he mumbles, into your neck. "Nothing to be nervous about."
His hands splay over your lower abdomen and you think he might be caressing your skin so sensually to mess with you after having said all those things to comfort you, but he's not relenting on the joke. He's kissing your shoulder, aiming to relieve you of some of your anxiety so that your body can melt into comfort. It has some effect on you, your nerves being mixed with something hot, now.
"We can do more than cuddling, if you want," he hums, grinning at the way you shudder. "You know, i've been dying to hear that pretty voice of yours."
"What?" you say, laughing nervously, like you misheard him.
"You've got a really nice voice, baby. I swear, I could listen to you talk, endlessly. Wish you would use it when I take you to bed. You don't make a peep, doll."
You go silent. Not because you're upset with him, or because what he said isn't true, but because you can't think of how to respond to that. You didn't think he was monitoring the sounds you make. He never said anything about it before. You figured maybe he preferred the silence.
"It's embarrassing..." you finally mumble, quickly turning around to right what may have come out wrong. "F-For me! Just me. You're fine to make all the sound you want. It's... it's just me." You turn back around to hide the flush of embarrassment on your cheeks.
"Why is it embarrassing? Am I not making you feel good enough?"
You can't let him feel that way.
"No, Toji- That's not- No, no, no. That's not the case, at all." You unwind his arms from your torso and turn to face him. You fully sit on his lap, and though the eye contact that comes after you wrap your legs around him was like having three cups of coffee on an empty stomach for your heart, you summed up the courage because it's not fair to let him think that way when it's the exact opposite. "I just..." you let out a small sigh. "I don't wanna be loud. I don't want you to hear me. God... I can barely even look at you when we... you know." You look down at where your hands absentmindedly rested on his stomach. "Sorry."
He's just smiling at you because he finds your entire existence beside him to be endearing. His hands go to yours. "I get to stare at your pretty face the entire time." He grins, watching the way your cheeks burn and how you try to distract yourself from his gaze by fidgeting with his hands. "You always look so good, ma. Bet you sound just as pretty."
There was so much tension in the silence that followed. He started playing with your hands. He would interlock his fingers with yours before slowly detangling your hands and repeating the process, flipping your hands this time. He got to feel the smoothness of your unpainted nails on the pads of his fingers, and he traced the lines etched into your palms.
Things got out of hand. One minute you were holding hands and laughing to yourselves with thoughts of how silly yet necessary the moment was, the next you were both undressing, and kissing like you missed each other terribly. He has his hands on your hips, guiding you up and down his cock while you hide your face in the crook of his neck. He's groaning and panting at the feeling of your velvety walls hugging him so tightly, and you just release little breaths into his neck, occasionally gasping when he hits a sensitive spot, as per usual.
"Baby," he pants, "let me hear you. Give me those pretty sounds."
"G-Gonna cum," you whisper, your breath becoming heavier with every upwards thrust of his hips.
"Not if you don't let me hear you."
He can feel you clenching around him more frequently. It's a telltale sign of your orgasm rolling in, so he immediately stops. Both of you are unsatisfied, but Toji can handle it for as long as it takes you to make a sound that isn't just your breathing. He can tell you want to, too, with the occasional squeaks that leave you.
"I-I was gonna-"
"And I meant what I said." He's just as edged and frustrated as you are. Despite not getting the sounds he wants from you so easily, you're still make him feel really good. Your touch, the skin-to-skin of you clinging onto him—it's enough to bring him towards the edge as well, and it takes every ounce of restraint for him to stop. He squeezes your waist when he sees the look of helpless desperation on your face. "You know I have all the patience when it comes to you, doll. We can do this all night. I just wanna know—audibly—that I'm making you feel as good as you say I am. Alright?"
You sigh, but nod in understanding.
"Good. Let's try that again."
Despite your gesture of comprehension, you're doing the same thing all over again. You're feeling good, you're comfortable and Toji sounds immensely hot as he continues to drive you up and down his length. Your arms are wrapped around his neck, your face once again buried into the crook of it. All that can be heard from you is your breathing, the warm air fanning over his already heated skin.
"Doll," he calls, feeling the way you mouth at his shoulder and neck.
"Please, just a little longer. Please," you murmur, feeling that spike in pleasure return again.
"Doll, you're not..." he groans. He knows he has to stop or you'll get what you want, and what he wants will be pushed aside. "You're not letting me hear your pretty voice."
"Please, please, please, Toji. I-I'm right there..."
"Uh-uh." With heavy hands weighing down your hips like cinder blocks, you're once again denied of that weakening force of pleasure.
"T-Toji," you utter, weakly. You drag your face down to his chest, and allow all the heavy breaths of the forceful stop to come out. Your cunt is throbbing, viciously. You're aching for more of him.
The man who usually caved to your every want and put your needs before everything, was suddenly being incredibly selfish with your pleasure, stopping every time you say you're close. You think you can find a way around it by just not warning him, but he knows your body like the back of his hand. He knows every one of the signs that come with your orgasms, making it pointless for you to try to evade his torture. He's done it to the point where you feel like mush, sluggishly lying against him.
"Look at me, doll. Lift your head."
"Mm-mm." You shake your head against his shoulder.
"Be good." He chuckles at your stubbornness and allows a hand to rest on your lower back. "I'm trying to give you what you want, so would you just look at me."
You sigh, before you start peeling yourself, little by little, off of him.
He immediately notices the involuntary lift of your lips. "Ooh, look at that pout. Could've just told me you wanted a kiss, doll." He smirks, watching as you turn your head slightly to hide the scorch on your cheeks. It's not the main thing you wanted, but you weren't mad when he did pull you in for a kiss, because he started moving his hips again, the pace slow as your lips remained locked. That slow pace was how every one of these torturous cycles started out, but this time it was different. It was now harder to get what you wanted.
"Eyes on me, baby, or I stop."
"I can't- Please, Toji." You want to bury your face in the crook of his neck, again. You want to hide yourself from those eyes of his that never fail to make you feel vulnerable.
"Eyes on me... or I stop," he repeats, calmly, as if enduring all of these stops is such a simple task for both of you. You look at him, and immediately feel like you're being swallowed whole. You feel like he's eating you alive with just his gaze. The sweat beading on his forehead, the tint of color on his cheeks, the lust that simmers in his eyes… it's an insane visual. It's overwhelming.
He sees it, though. The way you try to still your bottom lip as it quivers, the way your chest spasms from holding it all in, your pleading eyes. It's all so... you. So fragile, so timid, so small. So beautiful.
"Good girl. Yeah... just look at me," he instructs, and you whimper. Your gaze falls to his chest as embarrassment floods you at light speed. Your hands reach out for him like they do when you're ready to wrap your arms around him again, but he intercepts them. The brief noise homed into Toji's ears, and rushed straight down to his dick. He can't afford to be deprived of your facial expressions when he now knows what your pretty voice sounds like when it's laced with need. "Fuck... again. Do it again, princess. I heard that loud and clear."
"P-Please. Please, let me go back." You test the strength of his grip, twisting your wrists in his hold. He responds by pushing your arms behind you, the edge of his palms grazing your lower back with every bounce of you on his cock.
"What did I say, baby? Huh? Lift your head and look at me." When you refuse to listen and keep staring at his chest, he decides to give you a countdown for when he's going to stop. "Three..."
"No! Okay, okay," you say, complying with lifting your gaze. Your pleasure skyrockets when you make eye contact with him. He gives you a little smirk, like he's proud of you for showing him that you'll always be good for him, even if you're stubborn about it.
"Shit, mama. You feel so fucking good. Might just cum before you, if you keep this up."
You moan at the threat and bite the inside of your cheek to keep yourself from looking away again. Every sound you let slip makes Toji pick up the pace of his thrusts. They're always precise, so with the speed rising, you think you might catch up to his pleasure. "Please, Toji. Please." The second plead comes out as a whine. "Please, i'm... um..." you hum, shutting your eyes briefly at the sensation of him prodding your sensitive spot again and again. "I'm..." Another whimper slips out.
"Yeah?" He murmurs, watching you struggle to finish your thought, through lidded eyes. "Get it out. All of it."
You're cracking. Your little moans are becoming more and more audible. "I'm trying." You gasp, the breath coming out shaky.
Toji is devouring all of it. His focus is unbreakable, and his thoughts of you are greedy. He wants more than what you're giving him. He wants you to be louder, he wants you to scream his name, he wants to make you cum so hard that you let go of all that embarrassment and moan freely for him.
He removes one of his hands from your wrists, keeping them restrained with his other hand, so that he can toy with your clit. The rush of pleasure makes you twitch above him, a sweet moan instantly released by you. You feel so flustered, you can't hold the sounds back as well as before. It's the unfaltering look he throws at you. He has no trouble holding eye contact with you.
He's obsessed with this show you're putting on for him. The way you're crumbling for him, slowly giving in and losing your tentativeness towards making sound. You remain overwhelmed by all of it. The heavy breathing, his groans, the rapid movement of his thrusts, his rough thumb stroking your clit, the way you're so lost in the pleasure of it all that you've become just as greedy as him, chasing even more stimulation by grinding your hips against him. It's a loud scene.
"T-Toji, Toji!" You gasp. "I'm- Oh!"
"Oh fuck. Cum," he growls. "Cum, pretty girl. Cum for-"
Your entire body is trembling on top of him. Loud cries fill the room as your orgasm washes over you, in the most unbelievably messy way. Toji is stunned, entirely speechless as he fucks you through this intense orgasm. Your back is arched in so much you think your spine might snap, and you can't for the life of you stop crying out his name. This is one of the most powerful orgasms he has pulled from you, if not the most powerful. Toji's lap is drenched, your ass and the backs of your thighs are wet. It's never happened this way before. Your mind is so clouded, you can't even think of what just happened.
Not even a minute later, Toji mirrors you in experiencing that feeling of pure ecstasy, heavy pants and groans released, carelessly, by him. His warm load is shot into you, adding on to the mess when it begins to drool out of you and down his length.
You're both breathless, left frozen in your positions for a good amount of time, while you think about what just happened. You come down from your blissful state first and can't even think to look at him. You pull your hands out of his weakened grip and rest them on your thighs and just stare at them until he says something. You don't know what to say, so you'll let him do the talking.
It was a heat of the moment type thing. Completely unexpected and he's shocked to say the least. It takes Toji a couple minutes himself to think of what to say, but ultimately, he thinks this is the best way to break the ice...
"You just squirted... all over me."
You don't even look up at him when he says that. You just might cry from the continuously skyrocketing level of embarrassment you're feeling.
"Do you have anything to say about it?" He asks, to which you just shake your head. He lets a couple seconds go by, just to add an unnecessary dramatic effect to the situation, before picking up the conversation again. "Well, good thing I have some things to say about it, pretty." He grins and wraps you up in his arms, allowing you to return to your safe space. "You know how much I love you, right?" He says, turning his head to look down at your face. You hum in response and nod against his shoulder. "And that I only pushed you so that you wouldn't hide your voice from me anymore?" You nod again. "Well, I was right." He smirks, thinking of how he got exactly what he wanted. "I'll leave it at that so you don't overheat on me."
He sighs, contentedly, at the feeling of you being so relaxed in his arms now, compared to before. "You did so well for me, mama," he says, before pressing multiple kisses to your head.
There's a beat of silence. Toji can't stop thinking of that spontaneous moment. It's stuck on loop in his head. It's not convenient in this moment, since you're cockwarming him, but before you know it, he's half hard inside you again.
"You think I can make you do it on purpose, this time?"

You're A Villains Daughter + Them Falling In Love With You (Batboys)
Tumblr media
--------------------------------------------------
Dick: Being a police officer he had seen you in and out of the police station. Your hair had been bleached so many times to the point it was falling out. Your father was amazing when he was taking his medication, but the second he forgot, he slipped back into that other persona, the Mad Hatter. He would go crazy and start claiming that you were Alice, and any bit of hair that you had grown out would be bleached, you'd have to dress a certain way to appease him and calm him down.
Oftentimes, you could usually get him back on his medication, but there were days that he would put you in the most dangerous predicaments. Either the cops would be called or Batman and Nightwing would show up.
"I know you love him, and I know you want to take care of him, but the best thing for him is for him to be put in an institution. I'd hate to see the day that we don't show up in time." Dick spoke honestly with a clear sign of worry in his voice. He shrugged off his coat and put it upon your shoulders.
"You're a pretty woman and I hate to see pretty women cry, much less hurt..." He had such a warm smile on his face; when most of the cops tried to comfort you, they tended to sound creepy even though they said similar things, but there was something in the tonality of his voice that sounded genuine and sweet. His thumb gently brushed tears off your cheeks.
You had finally listened to Dick about putting your father into an institution where they could take care of him and make sure he takes his medication. It was expensive, but it was nothing like Arkham.
Dick found out easily that you had been forced to move into a really shitty small apartment in a not-so-good part of Gotham; when he looked up your father on his work computer, he found that he'd been put in an extremely nice institution and realized that you were probably struggling with money.
He found their phone number and called the institution. Dick made sure that every month he would be the one to pay for your father's treatment and stay, the institution wouldn't tell you who had put forth the money, but after a while, you wore them down and soon as you figured out who it was, it brought tears to your eyes. This sweet cop, the one that had put his jacket around your shoulders.
You found your way to his work and quickly offered him dinner, it was 'the least you could do' you had said. Dinner was lovely and the both of you clicked the same way you did every other time you two had met up. He gave you that same safe feeling and those same butterflies when he's compliment you.
Obviously, one date led to another. He was more than happy to take care of you and to make sure that you never had to take care of your father alone again.
--------------------------------------------------
Jason: Bruce had requested that Jason join him on a mission to Simon Stagg's labs. The both of them follow down such a long path of what looks like abandoned laboratories and vacant cells.
"Bruce, there's clearly nothing here we should just split." Jason wasn't entirely happy with the fact that he had to look for paperwork and investigate around the old and what seemed to be a barren laboratory; he'd rather be kicking ass.
"I mean it looks like the goddamn Back Rooms in here." Jason huffed with obvious irritation.
That feeling just about vanished as he made it down a corridor where he saw a glass room with a woman inside. Her skin was green, and she looked so similar to a villain he had seen before, one that tended to prefer eco-terrorism to the safety of human beings.
"Bruce! Bruce, there's a girl! We have to get her out of here." His voice started shaking, he was suddenly extremely worried about her...maybe it was how skinny and malnourished she looked? The hunger and thirst, he had seen that quite often before Bruce took him off the streets.
Jason pushed away the chairs that were sitting in front of the glass. He dreaded to think what they were used for, but he pushed the thoughts away. He gently tapped on the glass, hoping you would answer him. He could see the monitors attached to you and see that you were still alive, but every monitor seemed exceedingly slow.
"Sweetheart, I need you to look at me." He asked before your eyes fluttered open with confusion, it had seemed like months since you even spotted a single fly.
"That's it. Good girl, that's all I need from you I just need you to stay awake. We're going to get you out of here, I promise." Jason looks through the folder that sat within the container on the wall; he's desperate to figure out a way to get you out of there. He finds out who your mother is, Poison Ivy... the rest of the things he finds are vile and disgusting, but he pushes past it trying to find a way to get you out of there.
Jason then handed the file to Bruce and punched the combination into the keypad on the wall before rushing into the room that contained you.
"Jason! No, she could be dangerous!"
"Look at her, Bruce, she's too exhausted to be even remotely dangerous. She's been left alone here for lord knows how long." Jason disregards any part of him that tells him not to pick you up. He scoops are up and gently guides you out of the hell hole she was residing in.
"It's all right now, Babygirl, I got you. Jason speaks almost as if in quiet whispers; Bruce had never seen him be so soft and gentle to a stranger unless it was a little kid or something.
Jason took on every single duty of taking care of you. He would help nurse you back to health, and he would change your saline drip as often as it needed to be. His eyes lit up the first time he got you outside and your skin started turning even more green as if thriving in even the most minuscule amount of sunlight. He was there for you in every sort of moment of need you had. You're beautiful, gentle and kind, and he be damned if he ever let anything happen to you. In his mind suffered more than enough.
He is extremely attentive to you and anytime you notice a shiver he would cover you with a blanket or his jacket. The second he heard your stomach growl or even the slightest indication that you were thirsty, he handled it immediately.
Dick wanted to introduce you to everyone and Jason made sure that you understood that you didn't have to if you didn't want to. They invited you to watch a movie, but considering how exhausted you were, you ended up falling asleep on Jason's chest, his fingers brushing through your hair like it was natural for him. Not a single person in that room couldn't see the fact that he was falling so deeply in love with you.
--------------------------------------------------
Bruce: Bruce was running a few samples, he heard of what Scarecrow had done. Crane had been slipping a new version of fear toxin into several other drugs around Gotham.
Normally, he would go to Mr Freeze, but because his wife just recently got unfrozen and they were putting her through bouts of therapy for her case of Huntington's disease, he didn't want to bother him.
Victor had recommended a young doctor from Gotham General, Y/N Strange. The daughter of Hugo Strange, but from what he could tell, you didn't have much to do with your father anymore.
Bruce sent the samples over before he showed up several hours later. You had never seen Batman in person so it was a bit startling to see such a tall man clad in black, his blue eyes peaking out from under that black mask.
"Ah, Hello...Um, Mr. Batman." It was obvious you were nervous, and in a way, he thought it was really cute but he ignored tge feeling for now.
"Did you receive my package?" His voice deep and menacing.
"Oh, of course, I received everything. If I'm honest I never expected to receive a package from Batman but anyways..." In a way you were trying not to fangirl. 'Batman needs my help? Oh wow!' But you tried to pull it together.
"Yes, of course, Mr Batman, I cross-referenced the drugs that you sent me via the test tubes, and I...um, it would appear to be a Ecstasy, Heroin, and Weed... of course, they've been modified, so there's a component in here that looks to be Datura. Datura plants contain tropane alkaloids such as scopolamine, hyoscyamine, and atropine, which has led to their use in some cultures as a poison and as a hallucinogen for centuries. It would seem, from as far as I can tell, that this is what is also contained in these drugs. The hallucinations can be just downright terrifying."
He tries to look as if he understands but some of these words he's just not picking up on. Maybe it's because he's tired or maybe it's just that he doesn't understand or it could possibly be by the fact that he is distracted by how cute you look in that white lab coat but he's not going to let that show.
Even after Mr. Freeze is back in working order, has got a job at a very similar lab and has started to redeem himself for his past issues, Bruce still goes back to you for information everytime.
You find yourself in the elevator going from one level to another, and who pops in but Bruce Wayne? There wasn't a single person in Gotham who didn't know who Bruce Wayne was. In a bit of shock, you dropped all your papers all over the ground.
"Oh my god, Mr. Bruce. I am so sorry." You said as you kneeled down to pick up all of your papers. He joined you on his knees, helping you with all of the papers, his hand brushed against yours.
It was nice to be able to touch your skin and not have the barrier of a glove between the two of you, he thought.
"I- um, I usually don't ask out strangers, but if you would like to... I- I believe there's a connection between us." Bruce said as he gave you his card as he got out of the elevator, he knew what the connection was obviously, but you were none the wiser.
'Did that just happen? Did Bruce Wayne just ask me out? Oh my God. Oh my God!"
You didn't question it when you found your phone number. You had thought, 'Of course, he's got connections. He's Bruce Wayne.'
The date was lovely, and he found himself extremely entranced by the way that you talked about the things that you were passionate about, even if he didn't understand what you were saying. He also found it extremely adorable the way that you seemed to be so nervous around him but relaxed as the night went on. It didn't matter that you were Hugo Strange's daughter; you were adorable and he found himself completely enchanted by you.
--------------------------------------------------
Tim: He had been hacked, which was really odd considering the fact that he had top-of-the-line security equipment on his computer, and not even he could hack it. The second that it happened, he knew he needed to figure out who did this, not only out of admiration but because someone with this skill could be a danger to Gotham or anyone they pleased really.
He found a really old way to track an IP address that most people didn't even use anymore so most hackers didn't protect themselves against it and you weren't an exception to that rule. He found your name and information, Y/N Nygma. The Riddler's Daughter?
It took a lot of time and doing, but he got the both of you sending messages back and forth, leaving little bread crumbs for each other to find like a little game, it was fun. He could sense you didn't have a desire to harm anyone so he talked to Bruce and offered you an opportunity to get away from your father and his dirty deeds.
You loved your father and of course you didn't want to have to leave him but recently he's been acting psychotic, controlling and dangerous so you lept at the opportunity.
"You must be DxrthSkywxlker." You said as the man approched.
"Only if you are ButtSniffler2000." He said jokingly, his voice was just as you imagined it, smooth and playful.
"Oh, my god. No, but I guess I got the right guy." You laughed, that was something that drew you to him was the fact that he made you laugh so easily with such the dumbest things.
"Yeah, That's me. Honest to God, I didnt expect you to be a girl." He was swooning as soon as he saw you in the dim lighting, your humor and now this? He was done for.
"You're gorgeous." He had meant to say in his brain and not out loud but as soon as he saw the blush on your cheeks he"d realized he didnt say it in his subconcious.
"Thank you." You said as you hid your smile behind your hands.
"Oh my God, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to say that out loud." His cheeks were turning pink as well.
"It's okay, I believe that if you have a compliment to say someone, most of the time you should. It's just a good way to put goodness into the world especially in such a shitty city." The second those words came out of your mouth he knew he was done for, Tim's such a positive and optimistic person. Having someone else say something so similar to his outlook on life just makes him even more in love with you.
--------------------------------------------------
Damian: Of course, it made sense after he pieced it all together the way that you were so skilled with a blade and the way you weren't scared of him when you first met him.
He wasn't mad, Damian just wished you'd've told him. He laid everything out there on the floor for you, him being in the League, his mother, him being Robin, his dad being Batman but you couldnt tell him this? It stung, it felt like you didn't trust him.
"You're Deathstroke's daughter?" He asked randomly while the two of you were eating dinner. It was out of the blue, he didnt want to give you a chance to lie to him or prepare to answer.
"Yeah...I- I am but I haven't talked to him in years." You wanted nothing more than to put your father in the past and act like he doesn't exist especially after what he did to your mother. Damian instantly saw the pain in your eyes as he pieced it all together.
"Was he... did he...that was him?" He knew the story of your mother and how she had passed away but you never had mentioned who did it. You looked down, not really wanting to find his beautiful green eyes. You knew the second that you peered into them you'd be a sobbing wet mess.
Understanding immediately falls across Damian's face. Unfortunately for him he understood that you may be your father's daughter but that doesn't mean you are your father.
When he initially did his search on the computer Damian was very judgemental but he realized he was being hypocritical because if everyone just saw him as his mother's son then he would be doomed.
"I get it, nothing makes you want to crawl out of your skin more than remembering that you share blood with someone so horrible. It's like that with me and my mother. She's done awful things and she wishes I would forget all of them but we can't forget such cruelty." He speaks from the heart because he knows exactly how you feel. His hand reaches across the table and he grabs yours in his.
"He did it cause he hsd another family and he didnt want my mom interfering. I found her after school one day."
The pain and cruelty of your parents was just another way the both of you bonded. Damian loves training with you it's one of his favorite things to do because most people can't keep up.
"Just admit it you've been defeated." You smiled as you sat on top of him having tripped him and then quickly pinned him onto the mat.
"Alright, Alright. I've been defeated." Damian smiled a mischievous smile before he quickly flipped you both over and pinned you down.
"Just admit it, you've been defeated." He mocked you with a shit eating grin before leaning down to kiss you, pushing his body between you thighs. He kissed your neck, his words causing you to giggle.

Double Lives
Damian was certain that his wife was keeping a secret from him.
He trusted her with his life, of course—Marinette had kept a number of things from him in the earlier stages of their relationship, like her experience and trauma in Paris. He knew not to pry, and eventually she opened up. He was glad that some burden was taken off her shoulders.
But this was different. She was deliberately trying not to get caught; she took care to hide her phone from his view, and there were days she'd come home very late. When asked, she'd get irritable but also nervous around him. Damian didn't want to assume things right off the bat, but he did hope she would finally grow comfortable to talk it out with him. And so he resisted using his ‘resources’ to peek into her life—what kind of distrusting partner would he be if he did that?
He knew, too, that he was being awfully hypocritical. He was still yet to sit her down and reveal his vigilante alter ego to her as well as his family's. Damian would swear he planned to rip the bandaid off when they got engaged. But he couldn't bring himself to do it, out of the fear that she'd leave him. As far as he knew, Marinette wanted a normal quiet life after living through the Evil Butterfly Man's reign of terror. Telling her his identity would just put a target on her back, if there wasn't any already after she became a Wayne.
He couldn't imagine his sweet innocent wife exposed to the horrors of vigilantism.
Still, even though he had his own secrets, it felt quite frustrating not to know hers. That was what Damian was thinking one dark night when the door finally opened, signalling her arrival from work.
“Damian?” Her eyes widened. “Why are you still up? You shouldn't have waited for me.”
“It's alright. I couldn't sleep anyways.” And I will be sneaking out for patrol later. He stood up to kiss her cheek—
But froze upon seeing a red mark right at the base of her neck.
Marinette hummed tiredly. “Next time, don't wait for me if you're tired, okay?”
“. . . What's that on your neck?” He dared to ask.
Her hand immediately flew to the spot on her skin. For a split second, her expression changed into a hint of annoyance. “It's—it's . . .” she stammered, “I accidentally hit myself.”
“You hit yourself?”
She nodded meekly.
Damian stared at her for a moment. There was one thing he knew about his wife: she was a bad liar. But she was expert at omitting things, partly because she probably knew he wouldn't interrogate her further. He knew that she was aware it was the vaguest of explanations but she never tried to elaborate.
He mustered out a smile. “Be careful next time.”
She let out a nervous laugh and squeaked out a ‘yes’.
“By the way.” He took a deep breath, “I visited your office this morning.”
“Oh?”
“Yes, and your secretary told me you hadn't punched in for the day yet.”
The silence between them was thick.
“Ah . . .” Damian could practically see the gears turning in her head. “That was . . . erm, I had to run an errand before work! Yeah . . .”
“I see. I was hoping to have lunch with you earlier but it seems that you're busy nowadays.”
She cursed in French under her breath.
“I'm really sorry, Damian.” She fidgeted with her fingers. “I'll make time this week. I promise.”
She hurried off to their bedroom, leaving Damian with his thoughts.
He really really didn't want to assume the worst. But his heart was racing and when he looked at the signs, they were clear as day. His mind started to spiral a little, wondering where he could've gone wrong, wondering if he didn't spend enough time on her or if she felt that he wasn't giving enough effort.
But he pushed all those thoughts away and followed her to bed.
***
One Saturday afternoon saw Robin and Superboy in the Watchtower's breakroom, talking about Damian's predicament. He hoped his friend could at least contribute an objective outsider's perspective in his dilemma and encourage him to broach the topic with Marinette.
“She's cheating,” Superboy deadpanned.
“She's—she's not,” he argued back, “Perhaps I am just reading too much into it . . .”
“Um but the hickey? The late night escapades?” Superboy frowned. “I don't know about you, but I don't think there's any other explanation for it.”
Robin bit his tongue. No, it's not possible. He loved Marinette terribly, and he knew—he could feel the same love from her if not more.
His friend sighed, “Look, I know it's hard to believe. Even I don't think M can be . . . unfaithful but you should confront her about it.”
“I can't. I can't face her like that when I am still keeping a secret of my own.”
“Then tell her you're Robin. A secret for a secret, hm?”
Robin didn't even want to think about how messy that conversation would be.
“It's all just about communication,” Superboy continued. “If you're worried she won't accept you, take my mom and dad as an example—”
He stopped talking, indicating that he sensed another presence nearby. Just on cue, a fuming Ladybug stomped into the breakroom, heading straight to one of the refrigerators.
The two men watched as she muttered angrily while looking around for food—Robin could see the clear exhaustion on her tensed figure. The Parisian heroine had joined the Justice League after the Hawkmoth fiasco became public; the heroes were quick to recruit her but not before she voiced out her complaints about the League neglecting her city. Though she hadn't revealed her identity to anyone, she had formed bonds with the other heroes her age, not excluding Robin and Superboy.
Superboy winced when she kicked the fridge door.
Ladybug did a hundred eighty, showing both the fires of hell and sleepless nights in her blue eyes. “You don't happen to have an extra stock of Kryptonite, do you?”
Superboy looked at her warily. “What happened this time?”
“Your dad assigned me to another magic-involved mission!” She tugged at her hair, sitting beside them. “I thought I made it clear I didn't want to be involved in too many missions especially if it's non-miraculous related ones!”
“You could . . . tell him that?”
She shot a sharp glare at them. “You don't think I did? They're insisting it's miraculous related when Constantine hasn't even confirmed anything! Just because Paris was terrorized, it doesn't mean miraculi are going to pop out from everywhere! These missions are affecting my normal life!”
It was a common complaint for heroes who had alternate civilian lives, but Robin was a bit surprised that she was that open about her feelings.
“And—and Batman too!” She pointed a finger at Robin. “I know Monsieur Furry's guilty about the Paris thing and all and me not having a mentor but he keeps checking on my progress after missions liked a damned helicopter parent! “
Before either of them could reply, she continued ranting, “I was going to meet an important client yesterday but they just had to call me in to help with the mission! And then it goes on until freaking midnight! What about my precious sleep?! Then Zatanna accidentally used a spell on me—it hit my neck and now it looks like a hickey!”
Her head dropped onto the table. “How the fuck do I fucking explain that to my husband?!”
Robin and Superboy looked at each other, wide-eyed.
“You—you haven't told your husband that you're a hero?” Superboy asked carefully.
Not lifting up her head, she replied with a muffled voice, “Of course not! I can't do that to him! He's already exposed to enough danger because of his last name! I just can't tell him ‘ hey mon amour so I'm actually that heroine from Paris on top of my emotional PTSD!’”
Robin swallowed. That was Marinette's name for him.
It ticked too many boxes.
He started to subconsciously connect the dots: catching his wife absent at work at the time the magic-wielding team of the JL was away on a mission; Ladybug sharing that she finally linked up messages from her yoyo to her personal phone; his wife coming home late, tired and fatigued from head to toe when all she was supposed to be doing was designing.
“I'm sure he'll come to understand your circumstances,” Superboy consoled.
“He won't.” The heroine sat up, revealing that her eyes were now welling up with tears. “He probably hates me right now because I'm sending the wrong signals. What if he thinks I'm just taking advantage of him for his money? His family already hates me! What if he's filing for a divorce right now?”
Robin felt the nudge from his friend, as if to tell him to do damage control. Superboy abruptly stood up, spouted out an excuse about being called by someone, and left the room to the two of them.
Ladybug sniffed, “Sorry, you probably didn't want to hear all of that.”
“It helps to get your problems off your chest.” Robin awkwardly patted her head. In truth, she was really Marinette, he wanted to pull her into a hug already.
He coughed. “Why—why do you think your husband's family hates you?”
“Oh . . . I don't know, but his father’s always distant. Whenever I'm at a family dinner, they're just very quiet,” she replied sadly. “I know they're good people but I felt like I didn't belong somehow. My husband keeps saying they adore me though.”
Robin wanted to sigh out loud. His father still had his guard up because he believed she was a civilian, hence there was a side of her family they could never show her. It was always quiet due to Alfred's stern lecture about behaving in front of Marinette lest they accidentally spill something they shouldn't.
“It sounds like your husband cares a lot about you,” he told her, “Don't you think he would trust you if you told him the truth?”
“But I can't! I don't know where to begin!” She pursed her lips. “He's always been good to me and he never steps the line even if I'm obviously lying. I just . . . I thought I could tell him before we got married but I was too scared and I didn't want to ruin what we had.”
“But he won't think any differently of you, would he?”
“No . . .”
“Then you have nothing to be afraid of.” He smiled a little. “It may come off as a shock at first but he will accept it in time. You will be stressing yourself out even more if you keep thinking about the worst scenarios.”
She stared at him. “When did you get so wise?”
“Ever since I started thinking about what my wife was doing.”
She tilted her head. “Huh?”
It was unmistakable. Those gleaming blue eyes were Marinette's.
He was such an idiot.
“She keeps coming home late, hides her phone every time I'm near,” he listed, gauging her reaction. “Last night, I found out she hadn't come to her office even when she said she was working, and I caught her with a strange mark on her neck.”
Her eyes slowly widened as she seemed to come to the same realization. The heroine's gloved hands flew up to cover her mouth. “Damian?” she whispered.
He checked if the coast was clear and slowly peeled off his domino mask to show his full face. “I'm sorry I didn't tell you habib –”
He was cut off by her warm lips, her arms winding around his neck. Damian immediately melted into her touch, relieved that they finally divulged their secrets. He wouldn't have to be worried about introducing her to the hero world after all.
He was extremely relieved, in fact, that he hadn't noticed his father and eldest brother stroll into the room.
“ROBIN! Are you cheating on your wife?!”
Robin pulled away from Ladybug, withholding a sigh of exasperation. He put his mask back on and turned around to see Batman looking constipated and Nightwing utterly shocked.
"How could you do that to—to . . ." Nightwing cried out.
"Leave us." He glared.
"Robin—" His father's voice was tinged with disapproval.
"Leave. Us."
Fortunately, the two scurried off. Damian faced his wife, who seemed as flabbergasted. He was worried since it was her identity that was at risk, unless he embraced the unexpected cheating allegations.
"Oh my kwamis," Ladybug said softly, "I called my father-in-law a furry ."
"It's deserved." He rubbed up and down her shoulders. "What do you want to do?"
"Oh um . . ." She ducked her head. "Maybe go home and I'll—I'll explain everything from the beginning."
***
Damian had to recount his life story after his wife shared hers whilst they cuddled in bed. After they talked, he was surprised to learn so many new things about her—he thought he had her memorized already, even before they exchanged vows. At the same time, he was mentally kicking himself for thinking that Marinette was never closely involved in the war against Hawkmoth.
Of course she was Ladybug.
Of course she was a hero.
So while she was spiraling at the number of times she'd unknowingly mocked her in-laws in the suit, he was regretting not telling her the truth sooner. If they'd opened up years ago, he would've stayed by her side during missions, helping her deal with the troubles of having a masked alter egos, and sharing his own experiences with her. A stronger bond would've formed between them, because they both understood the hero's life after all this time.
Not long after, she finally decided she was ready to tell the Waynes who she was. ‘It would do more harm than good if I kept hiding it anyway,’ she reasoned. He did agree, since she was part of the family, both as Ladybug and Marinette. The others would surely be overjoyed (and less overprotective) if they found out that she was a hero. What Damian found strange, however, was Marinette seemed to worry that Bruce's opinion on her would change and he'd become ‘distant’ as Batman as well.
“Remember, Batman is afraid of you,” he had reminded her over and over again.
(And Batman would be ecstatic to discover that Ladybug was his daughter-in-law, but Damian would never tell her that. The caped vigilante had grown fussy over the Parisian heroes as his way of ‘making up’ for the Paris incidents . . . But at the same time, he cowered ever so slightly when Ladybug raised her voice on him. Damian's siblings blamed Ladybug's black hair and blue eyes for triggering the adopt-itis.)
And so Damian and Marinette decided to arrange a family lunch to break the news to everyone. It was then Damian remembered that there was one issue he hadn't resolved yet.
“If you don't tell Marinette today, I'm telling her.” Dick glared at him from across the table.
Damian glanced at his watch. His wife wasn't present yet, and had sent him a message about picking up pastries from Paris first.
“Tt. That would mean revealing our identities, Richard.” He crossed his arms.
“Just because you have the mask on it doesn't mean you can do that to her!” Dick argued. “Does Ladybug even know you're married?! ”
“What did he do to Pixie-pop?” asked Jason.
“He---he—” Dick was once again trembling in anger and disbelief.
“We saw him kissing Ladybug.” It was Bruce who replied. “Damian, I never expected this from you. You will have to talk and apologize to Marinette.”
“You did what?!” Jason stood up so abruptly that the utensils clattered.
“What the fuck?” Tim exclaimed.
Stephanie gasped. “What the hell Damian?”
“Holy shit,” Duke whispered.
Damian could only stare at the entryway of the dining hall, hoping that Marinette would arrive soon. If he was left with his family any longer, they'd be beating him up and disowning him.
“I have . . . a reason,” he said through gritted teeth. He couldn't exactly tell them right off the bat, since Marinette wasn't there yet.
“Open . . . open relationship?” Cass frowned.
Suddenly, a bright light appeared at the ceiling—a portal— and from it, a figure dropped down, much to everyone's shock. Ladybug, unified with the Horse miraculous, grinned at them with an armful of boxes filled with croissants and macarons.
“Ladybug?” Bruce gaped.
“Your daughter-in-law actually.” She lowered the sunglasses, showing her narrowed eyes. “And your worst fucking nightmare.”
“W---What?”
Damian could barely control his laughter, seeing his father frozen.
She detransformed completely and scowled at Bruce. “This is technically your fault, furry old man! If you didn't keep agreeing to send me on those magical missions, I wouldn't be so tired and caused a misunderstanding in the first place.”
Damian didn't have time to shield himself from the eruption of noise on the table. With his wife's theatrical reveal, everyone was in different states of shock. Tim stood up quietly to face a wall with a blank stare, entertaining another existential crisis. Duke choked on the water he was drinking. Jason was crouched on the floor miserably with his hands over his face, perhaps because of the times he complained to Marinette about Ladybug's uptight methods. Dick's jaw was completely unhinged, and he was slapping himself every minute or so. Stephanie passed a hundred dollar bill to Cass.
And Bruce. Poor Bruce was paler than their porcelain plates, speechless and unmoving.
Damian exchanged a wide smile with his wife. He loved her so much.

Quinn had been convinced he had a type, until he met Hayden. The moment he laid eyes on the freckle-covered brunette behind the bar, all his ideas of the perfect woman went out the window.
He hadn't planned on approaching her that night--he rarely did that sort of thing--but something about her made it impossible to stay in his seat. Maybe it was the way her eyes sparkled as she teased the patrons, or the quick, confident way she moved, shaking cocktails and sliding beers across the counter without missing a beat. Or maybe it was her laugh, low and raspy, floating above the noise of the crowd and hitting him like a bucket of cold water.
When he reached the bar, he still hadn't figured out what to say. But she noticed him right away, tipping her head at him with an arched brow. "You gonna order something, or just stand there looking pretty?" she asked, smirking.
It had taken Quinn half a second too long to respond, his brain short-circuiting at the sound of her voice. Her smirk only deepened as she watched him scramble for words.
"Uh, yeah--just a beer. Whatever's on tap," he finally managed, shoving a hand through his hair.
"Sure thing, champ." She poured the drink in one smooth motion and set it in front of him, wiping her hands on a bar towel. "That'll be six bucks."
Quinn handed her a twenty. "Keep the change."
Her green eyes flicked up to meet his. "Big spender, huh?"
He shrugged, suddenly unsure of himself. "Just figured you deserve it. You're working hard."
That made her pause. The teasing look on her face softened for a split second, and she gave him a small smile before moving on to the next customer.
That had been six months ago. Now, Quinn had her memorized in ways he wasn't sure were healthy. He knew how her lips curved when she smiled, the exact spot on her shoulder that made her shiver when she kissed it, and the way her voice sounded when she moaned his name in the dark.
Not that they were anything serious--she'd made that clear from the start. "I'm not looking for a boyfriend, Hughes," she'd said one night, perched on the edge of his bed, wearing nothing but one of his hoodies. Her legs had been tucked under her, and her fingers toyed absently with the hem of the sweathshirt. "I don't have time for that right now. Gotta focus on work and school, and I don't need a distraction."
"Fair enough," he'd replied, leaning back against the headboard and trying to sound nonchalant, like her answer didn't sting just a little.
It wasn't like he could blame her. She worked crazy hours at the bar, saving every spare dollar for tuition. And yet, every few nights, she still found her way into his bed--or his car, or his couch--looking at him with those green eyes and making it very clear she wanted him.
And that was the problem, really. He knew exactly what she wanted from him, but the feelings that had started creeping up on him were a hell of a lot messier.
Like now, as they drove through the winding roads to the lake house. Hayden was sitting in the passenger seat, scrolling through her phone, completely oblivious to the way he kept sneaking glances at her. She'd insisted she could come as a friend--"We're just hanging out, right? Your brothers don't need to know anything."
Quinn had agreed, mostly because he didn't want to push his luck. But the idea of her spending an entire weekend around his brothers and friends--Jack, Luke, Cole, and Trevor--while pretending they didn't have history? He wasn't sure how he was supposed to keep it together.
Especially not when she looked like that.
~~
Quinn tightened his grip on the steering wheel, forcing himself to look at the road instad of Hayden. She was lounging in the passenger seat like she owned the place, legs pulled up and bare feet resting on the dash--something that normally annoyed him, but didn't when it was her. Her hair was twisted up on top of her head with a claw-clip, dark sunglasses perched on her nose, and her shorts were so short they were more like denim underwear. And worse, she didn't seem to have a single clue what she was doing to him.
"Any bets on how long before Trevor starts acting like an idiot?" she asked, not looking up from her phone.
Quinn exhaled, shaking his head. "Two minutes after we pull in."
Hayden snorted. "I'm giving him 30 seconds. Kid doesn't have an off switch."
"Don't let him get to you," Quinn warned, though his jaw clenched at the thought. He already knew how this was going to go: Trevor was going to flirt, Jack and Luke were going to egg him on, and Cole was going to sit back and stir the pot like the chaos-loving menace he was. The last thing Quinn needed was his brothers and friends turning this weekend into some weird interrogation.
She finally looked at him, dropping her phone onto her lap. "Relax, Hughesy. I can handle myself."
That was the problem. He knew she could handle herself. Hayden could flirt and toss back jabs like it was nobody's business. She was cool under pressure, quick with comebacks, and completely unfazed by guys like his friends. If anything, they were going to love her. Which was great--except it also meant they were going to keep pushing, keep prodding, and Quinn was going to have to sit there and pretend it didn't bother him.
He wasn't entirely sure he could pull that off.
The house was already crazy when they arrived. Quinn barely had time to turn off the engine before the front door flew open, and Jack and Trevor came sprinting out like a couple of dogs that'd been cooped up too long.
"Quinny!" Jack hollered, dragging out the name like he was twelve. His eyes darted to Hayden before a shit-eating grin stretched across his face. "And you brought a friend!"
"Careful, Jack, you're drooling," Hayden teased, sliding out of the car like she hadn't just turned Quinn's brain to mush.
Trevor skidded to a stop next to Jack, pushing his sunglasses up onto his head as he gave Hayden an exaggerated once-over. "Who's this?" he asked, like Quinn wasn't standing right there.
"Hayden," she said, unfazed. "You must be Trevor."
His grin widened. "Guilty. Did Quinn tell you that I'm his favourite?"
Quinn groaned, dragging their bags out of the trunk. "Literally no one has ever said that ever."
Trevor ignored him, zeroing in on Hayden. "So, you a hockey fan? Or did Quinny trick you into coming up here?"
Hayden shot Quinn a quick, amused look over her shoulder before turning back to the blond. "No tricks. I just like the lake."
"I'm gonna like you."
"Trevor," Quinn said sharply, but it was too late. Hayden was already laughing, and Trevor looked delighted, like he'd just discovered a new game.
This was going to be a long weekend.
~~
The kitchen was already loud by the time Quinn woke up the next morning. Jack was rummaging through the fridge, muttering complaints about the lack of skim milk, while Luke stood at the stove making ovens. Trevor was leaning against the counter, already drinking despite the early hour.
Then there was Hayden, perched on a stool like she'd been part of the group for years. She was wearing a tank top and athletic shorts, her legs crossed as she sipped a mug of coffee one of the guys had made for her. She looked completely at ease, laughing softly at something Trevor had just said.
"Morning, sunshine," Jack called out when he spotted Quinn. "You sleep okay on the couch?"
Trevor smirked. "Guess you're more of a gentleman than I thought, letting Hayden have the bed."
Quinn ignored him, heading straight for the coffee pot. "Someone had to make sure you idiots didn't scare her off already."
"We're harmless," Jack said, grabbing a yogurt and joining Hayden at the counter. "Right, Hayden?"
"Sure," she smiled. "Totally harmless."
Trevor licked his lips, setting down his beer. "So, Hayden, what's your deal? You work at a bar, right? Bet you've got some wild stories."
"Plenty," she said easily. "But I'm guessing you don't wanna hear about drunk bachleorette parties or old guys claiming they already tipped me when it's the first time I've ever seen them."
"Come on," Trevor said, flashing her his most charming grin. "What about the weirdest pickup line you've ever gotten?"
"I don't know... probably the guy who told me I had eyes like a mermaid and asked if I wanted to 'swim into his arms.'"
Jack snorted. "That's terrible."
"Right?" Hayden laughed again. "I told him I'd rather drown."
Trevor laughed so hard he nearly spilled his beer. "Okay, that's solid. But what about the best pickup line? You've gotta have one."
Quinn, pouring his coffee, clenched his jaw. He knew where this was going.
Hayden glanced at him briefly. "I don't really go for pickup lines," she shrugged. "If a guy's confident, he doesn't need one."
"Oh, I'm confident," Trevor leaned a little closer.
Hayden smirked. "Good for you, bud."
Quinn's knuckles tightened around his mug as he turned and leaned against the counter. "Shouldn't you save some of that energy for the lake, Trev? Or is embarrassing yourself in the water not enough anymore?"
Trevor shot him a look, but Hayden only smiled, her green eyes sparkling with amusement. "Careful, Hughesy," she said lightly. "You're starting to sound jealous."
Quinn froze, scrambling for a response. "I'm not--"
"She's got a point," Jack interrupted. "You're lookin' a little tense there, Quinny."
"I'm fine!"
Hayden raised her coffee mug to hide her smile, but the damage was already done.
Quinn's nerves were frayed by the end of breakfast. Hayden had slipped easily into the background, chatting with Luke about something or other, but Trevor and Jack were relentless in their interrogation.
"Hayden, what kind of guys do you usually go for?" Trevor asked carefully as they started clearing the plates.
Quinn stiffened, glancing at Hayden out of the corner of his eye. She didnt' miss a beat.
"Hmm. I guess I like guys who can make me laugh."
"That's me!" Trevor said excitedly.
"Right," she said, deadpan. "But I also like guys who know when to quit."
Jack laughed, clapping Trevor on the back. "Ouch! Guess you're out of luck, bud!"
Quinn didn't bother to hide his smirk, but his amusement didn't last long. Trevor wasn't giving up, and Hayden seemed determined to keep sparring with him.
The group wasted no time in dragging all their gear down to the water. Paddleboards, kayaks, and inner tubes littered the dock, and Jack was already trying to wrestle Luke into the water just for the sake of it.
Quinn had just finished setting up a folding chair near the edg of the dock when he caught sight of Hayden emerging from the house.
His brain short-circuited.
She was wearing a simple blue bikini, nothing overly flashy, but it might as well have been haute couture for the way it made his chest tighten. Her hair was loose now, claw clip abandoned, and her sungless perched on her pale nose as she carried a towel in one hand and a bottle of water in the other.
She walked like she owned the place, completely oblivious to how every head on the dock turned her way.
"Jesus, Quinn," Jack grinned. "Where'd you find her?"
Quinn scowled. "Shut up, Jack."
"Hey, Hayden!" Trevor called, waving her over like they were old friends. "You ever paddleboard before?"
Hayden stopped at the edge of the dock, plating her hands on her hips. "Once or twice. Why?"
Trevor pulled a board toward himself. "Because you're about to get a free lesson from the best."
"You mean Luke?" she quipped, smirking proudly.
Trevor clutched his chest like she'd stabbed him. "That hurts. I'm actually really fucking great at this!"
"Uh-huh." Hayden tossed her towel onto a chair, kicking off her sandals. "Fine. Show me what you've got."
Quinn groaned internally as Trevor guided her toward the paddleboard. He tried to focus on adjusting one of the chairs, but his eyes kept returning to Hayden as Trevor "helped" her climb onto the board.
"Keep your knees bent," Trevor said, standing waist-deep in the water beside her. "It's all about balance."
"Got it," Hayden said, adjusting her stance.
"You're a natural," he grinned up at her. Then, with an exaggerated wave of his arm, he tipped her board slightly to the side, sending her wobbling.
Quinn tensed instinctively, stepping toward the edge of the dock, but Hayden quickly recovered, giving Trevor a look that could melt steel.
"Do that again, and you're swimming home with this thing shoved up your ass," she said flatly.
Luke burst out laughing from where he was lounging on an inner tube. "She's not wrong, Trev. You're annoying as fuck."
Trevor ignored him, hopping onto his own paddleboard. "Alright, then. Let's race."
"You're on," Hayden paddled toward the deeper water with ease.
Quinn really wanted to stay out of it, but watching Trevor and Hayden laughing and splashing each other in the middle of the lake was slowly driving him insane. He stood at the edge of the dock, hands on hips like a dad, until Jack strolled over and gave him a knowing look.
"You good, man? You've been standing there glaring at Trevor for five minutes."
"I'm not glaring," Quinn said, moving to cross his arms.
"Sure," Jack said, dragging out the word. "Hey, maybe we should all take turns teaching Hayden how to paddleboard. I mean, I've got skills."
"Don't."
Jack raised his hands in surrender, laughing as he walked away.
~~
Quinn moved from standing to sitting, his feet in the water, when Hayden paddled back toward him. Trevor had abandoned his board by this point, leaving her to float leisurely near the dock.
"Not bad, huh?" she said, smirking as she climbed off the board and into the shallow water.
"You handled yourself," Quinn said, shrugging like it didn't matter.
Hayden raised an eyebrow, stepping closer until she was standing waist-deep in the water in front of him. "You sure you're okay? You've been looking kind of... tense."
"I'm fine," he said, though his shoulders gave him away.
"Right." She reached past him to grab her towel, her arm brushing his in the process. The touch was brief, accidental, but it was enough to send a jolt through him.
"Hayden," Trevor called from the shore, "you wanna head out again? I think I can beat you this time."
Quinn didn't miss how Trevor's eyes flicked down to Hayden's legs as she pushed herself up on the dock, or the stupid grin on his face when she finally looked at him.
"Pass," she waved him off. "I've already proven I'm better than you."
Quinn couldn't help it; he smirked.
As Hayden sat down beside him to dry off, he caught her looking at him through the corner of her eye. "You're glaring again," she mumbled, covering it with a fake cough.
"I'm not."
"Sure..."
Quinn didn't say anything, looking back out over the water. Trying his hardest, and failing, to think of anythingbut how much longer this weekend was going to last.
~~
Dinner was even more chaotic... if that was possible.
The dining table was a mix of empty beer bottles, half-eaten burgers, and bowls of chips scattered across every inch of available surface. Luke and Jack had teamed up on the grill, burning half the patties while Trevor heckled them from his seat. Cole had claimed his spot across from Hayden, watching things unfold with a look on his face that Quinn was starting to resent.
And of course, Hayden--perfectly unbothered--sat at Quinn's right, sipping a beer and laughing at the guys' stupid antics. Quinn tried not to notice how her shoulder brushed his every time she shifted in her seat.
"So, Hayden," Trevor said suddenly, wiping ketchup off his fingers, "we've all been wondering--what's your deal?"
"My deal?" she bit back a smile.
"You know," he leaned foward on his elbows. "What's a girl like you doing hanging out with a guy like Quinn?"
Quinn choked on a sip of water, sputtering into his napkin. "Jesus, Trevor."
"What?" he innocently flashed a grin. "I'm just saying. You're cool, Hayden. You've got, like, a vibe. Quinn's... well. Quinn."
Hayden turned to Quinn, tilting her head dramatically as if evaluating him. "You're right. I could probably do better."
The table erupted into laughter, Jack banging his fist against the table as Trevor fell back in his chair. Quinn groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose, though he couldn't stop the smile tugging at his lips.
"See?" Trevor said, pointing at Hayden like she'd just proven his point. "I like her. She's honest."
"Honest, huh?" Hayden smirked, lifting her beer to her lips. "Careful, Z. I don't think you can handle honest."
Trevor was undeterred. "Oh, I can handle honest. Hit me."
"Alright. Honestly? You talk a lot of shit for someone who fell off a paddleboard twice today."
"Hey! The second time didn't count!" Trevor argued, pointing a potato chip at her. "I was distracted."
"By what?"
"By you," he smirked, like he thought he was the smoothest guy ever.
Quinn's hand clenched under the table. He forced himself to take a sip of his drink, trying to mask his irritation.
"Well, don't let it happen again. I'd hate for you to embarrass yourself three times today," she giggled.
Luke snorted into his drink, while Cole howled from the other side of the table.
"I don't embarrass easily."
"Could've fooled me," Hayden said, giving Quinn's thigh a squeeze under the table.
"You're good at this," Jack laughed. "You should come to dinners more often."
"Don't encourage her," Quinn rolled his eyes.
"Oh, come on, Quinny," Jack nudged him with his elbow. "You're just mad she's better at coming up with comebacks than you are."
"Not mad."
"Uh-huh. I'll see it when I believe it, Quinnifer."
~~
Once the plates were cleared and the guys had moved outside to do god-knows-what, Quinn hang back in the kitchen, rinsing dishes just to keep his hands busy. Hayden lingered, drying plates as they were handed to her.
"You sure you're okay, Q?"
"I'm fine," he said, though his jaw was still tight.
"You've been 'fine' all day," she teased. "You sure you don't want to try a different excuse?"
He sighed, setting down the plate he was holding. "They're onto us."
"So? Let them wonder. What's the worst that could happen?"
Quinn stared at her, incredulous. "Are you serious? We're not... dating. I... don't need them knowing about... us."
"You're worried because we're casual? Quinn, I'm sure they've all had flings before."
"But, you--"
"Hayden! Quit flirting with my brother and come play pong!" Jack called from the sliding door.
"Coming!" she pressed a quick kiss to Quinn's cheek before rounding the corner and disappearing out of his sight. Maybe Hayden was going to be the death of him and not this weekend.
~~
The house was finally quiet.
Quinn lay on the couch, staring at the ceiling lit dimly from a lamp in the corner, the soft hum of fridge the only sound he could hear along with the occasional snore from upstairs (Trevor). His pillow was lumpy, the blanket was scratchy, and he'd long given up trying to get comfortable. He wasn't sure how long he'd been lying there, but it felt like hours.
Everyone had settled for the night, laughter and shouting just a ghost of the day now. Trevor had been the last holdout, talking loudly about his plans to crush everyone at volleyball the next day until Jack shoved him up the stairs to the guest room.
Quinn waited until he was sure--absolutely sure--the house was still. Then, as quiet as possible, he swung his legs off the couch, folding the blanket and tossing it over the armrest.
The door to his bedroom creaked slightly as he opened it, and he winced, glancing over his shoulder to make sure nobody had heard. The hallway remained silent, and he slipped inside, shutting the door softly behind him.
Hayden was lying on her side, her back to the door. She was scrolling through her phone, her hair splayed out across the pillow, one of his old t-shirts draped loosely over her frame.
"Took you long enough," she murmured, not bothering to turn around.
Quinn rolled his eyes, tugging his hoodie over his head and tossing it onto his desk chair. "I had to wait for them to fall asleep."
"They're not asleep," Hayden said, her voice low but teasing. "Trevor's probably lying awake right now, trying to figure out if you're sneaking up here or not."
Quinn froze, his hand on the edge of the bed. "He's not."
"Wanna bet?"
He sighed, pulling back the covers and sliding into bed beside her. "If he was, he'd already be at the door making some dumb comment."
"Fair point," she sighed, finally setting her phone on the nightstand and turning to face him. Her eyes gleamed faintly in the low light from the hallway. "Still, you're playing a dangerous game, Quinny."
Quinn propped himself up on one elbow, frowning at her. "I'm not the one who spent the entire day letting Trevor flirt with me."
She smirked. "What was I supposed to do? Tell him to stop? That'd make things way more suspicious."
"You didn't have to encourage him."
"I wasn't encouraging him," Hayden cocked an eyebrow. "I was shutting him down."
Quinn scoffed. "You call that shutting him down?"
"What would you call it?"
"Flirting," he muttered, unable to keep the bite out of his tone.
Her smirk only widened. "You sound jealous."
"I'm not--"
"Relax," her tone softened. "If I wanted Trevor, I'd be in his bed right now."
Quinn stared at her, unsure of how to respond. Her tone was casual, but held a quiet reassurance he hadn't been expecting.
"Besides," she added, shifting onto her back, "he's not my type."
"Yeah? What is your type?"
Hayden turned to look at him, biting her lip to hold back her smile. "You really wanna know?"
"Yeah," he said, his throat dry.
She didn't answer right away, letting the silence stretch between them. Then, finally, she reached out, her fingers brushing lightly against his arm. "Go to sleep, Huggy."
He exhaled a quiet laugh, lying back against the pillow. "Night, Hayden."
If I wanted Trevor, I'd be in his bed right now.
He wasn't sure if that made him feel better or worse... so much worse.
~~
Jack and Trevor had dragged the volleyball net out from the shed, while Luke attempted to detangle it and Cole sat nearby offering unhelpful commentary.
"Hayden, you any good at volleyball?" Trevor asked, tossing the ball lazily in the air and catching it.
Hayden shrugged, standing at the edge of the makeshift court in one of Quinn's t-shirts knotted at her waist. "I can hold my own."
"Perfect! You're on my team then," he said, his grin widening.
Quinn grimaced, adjusting the net. "We didn't even pick teams yet."
"We don't have to," Trevor said, tossing the ball at Hayden, who caught it easily. "I already called dibs."
"Dibs don't count," Jack argued, stepping into the sand. "Besides, I don't trust you not to ruin every single serve she makes."
"Guys," Hayden interrupted. "We can rotate teams."
Jack and Trevor exchanged a look then both shrugged, apparently satisfied.
"Fine," Trevor smirked. "But don't be mad when we crush you."
~~
"Out!" Luke yelled, pointing as the ball bounced into the sand.
Trevor threw his hands in the air. "That was not out!"
"Dude, it was so out," Jack said, shaking his head as he jogged to retrieve the ball.
Meanwhile, Hayden stood at the net, adjusting her ponytail and smiling. Quinn couldn't help but stare, admiring everything from the curve of her neck to how her shorts fit her thighs.
"Q, stop staring and serve the ball!" Jack called.
"I'm not staring," Quinn mumbled, lining up to serve
The next rally was fast-paced, with Jack diving to save a ball and Luke lobbing it back over the net. Hayden held her own, quick on her feet and unflinching as instructions were barked at her.
"Nice hit!" Trevor exclaimed after she spiked the ball, raising his hand for a high-five.
She slapped his palm lightly, her smile easy, but Quinn caught the way Trevor's hand lingered for just a second too long.
"Focus, Trev," he snapped, tone sharper than intended.
Trevor turned to him, eyebrows furrowed. "I am focused. You okay, man?"
"I'm fine."
~~
A few points later, Hayden stumbled as she went for the ball, her foot catching in the sand. Quinn moved without thinking, reaching out to steady her before she could fall.
"You good?" he asked, his hand warm on her arm.
"Yeah," she said, brushing the sand off her leg as she looked up at him. Her eyes get his and the rest of the group seemed to fade away.
"Thanks," she added softly.
"Anytime."
"Alright, lovebirds," Cole called, ruining their moment. "Can we play now?"
Hayden laughed, stepping back to her spot. Quinn shot Cole a glare but didn't respond, his ears burning.
The final play came down to Hayden, Trevor, and Cole on one side, with Quinn, Jack, and Luke on the other.
"Just hit it over," Quinn muttered to Jack, who was already bouncing on the balls of his feet.
Trevor set the ball perfectly, sending it sailing towards Hayden. She jumped, spiking it cleanly over the net and straight into the sand on the other side.
"Game!" Trevor yelled, throwing his arms in the air.
Hayden raised her hands in victory, giggling as Trevor ran over to give her a congratulatory hug. Quinn gaze looked like it could kill as Trevor lifted her slightly off the ground, spinning her once before setting her back down.
"Alright, alright," she said, patting him on the shoulder as she escaped his grasp. "Calm down, Z."
"Can't help it," Trevor said grinning as he turned to Quinn. "You guys put up a good fight, though. Better luck next time."
Quinn didn't respond, heading straight for the water with the ball tucked under his arm.
Hayden watched him go, her smile fading. She didn't follow right away, but when she did, she caught up to him at the water's edge, where he was skimming the ball across the surface.
"You okay?" she whispered, wanting to keep their conversation private.
"I'm fine."
"Still just fine? Because you seemed... tense back there."
"Not tense," he muttered, thought Hayden knew him well enough to know he was lying. She could tell from the tightness in his posture.
"You know you can quit the protective act, right? Trevor's harmless."
Quinn snorted. "Harmless isn't the word I'd use."
She knocked his shoulder with hers. "Chill, babe. You need to be more... zen."
"Zen?"
"Shut up, I'm trying. And... just for the record, you're way more fun to play with."
"Yeah?"
"Duh," she said, her smile teasing. "But don't let it get to your head."
"Noted."
~~
The fire crackled softly, sending soft ambers into the air around it. The group lounged in mismatched deck chairs around the campfire, beers and marshmallows in hand. Luke was poking at the logs with a stick, while Jack balanced on the two back legs of his chair... strongly against Hayden's wishes.
She was curled up in one of the chairs, her legs tucked up to her chest, the glow of the fire casting shadows across her face. Quinn sat across from her, trying--and failing--not to stare at how majestic she looked.
"This is nice," she mumbled, sipping her drink.
"Best part of the trip," Jack agreed.
"Well, second best," Trevor added with a grin.
"Let me guess," Hayden said dryly. "The best part is beating everyone at volleyball."
"You fucking know it!"
Quinn rolled his eyes, taking a long sip of beer.
"Alright, I've got a question for you, Hayden," Trevor giggled to himself, already tipsy.
"Here we go," Cole cackled.
"No, no, it's a good one," he insisted. "If you had to date one of us, who would it be?"
The group erupted into groans and howls of laughter, with Luke flinging a marshmallow at Trevor's head. "Dude, what's wrong with you?"
"What?" Trevor asked, popping the sweet into his mouth. "It's a valid question!"
"Is it?"
"Yes! And you have to answer. It's the rules."
"What rules?" Jack asked with a snort.
Trevor ignored him, looking back at Hayden. "Come on. Hypothetically. Who's your pick?"
Hayden looked around the circle, her lips twitching like she was holding back a laugh. "Hmm," she said, drawing out the word just enough to make Trevor lean forward in anticipation. "I think... I'd pick... Cole."
Cole nearly choked on his s'more. "What?"
"You're the least annoying... I think," she shrugged.
"Fucking brutal," Jack shook his head.
"Good choice," Cole lifted his beer to her in toast.
Trevor pouted. "That's not fair. I'm not that annoying."
"Very debatable," Cole said, earning a hard shove.
Trevor, however, wasn't done.
"Okay, new question. What's the most romantic thing a guy's ever done for you?"
"You're fucking killing me," Luke groaned.
"Just answer the question!"
"Probably this guy who made me tea every morning for a week after my late-night shifts. And he didn't even drink tea himself."
"That's cute," Cole nodded.
Jack frowned. "Quinn doesn't drink tea."
Hayden bit her lip, trying to hide her amusement.
Quinn's cheeks burned as every eye in the group turned to him. "What?"
"Nothing... just making an observation."
"Interesting."
"I think it's time for bed," Quinn said abruptly, standing and brushing the sand from his shorts.
Hayden lingered for a moment, finishing her drink before standing and following him.
~~
Quinn was already lying on "her" bed when Hayden slipped into the room, closing the door softly behind her.
"You okay?"
"You keep asking that."
"Let me guess you're fine?"
"Yup," he said, popping the 'p.'
Hayden shook her head, pulling off her tank top and replacing it with one of Quinn's t-shirts before climbing into bed beside him. "You didn't look fine."
"They're fucking relentless."
"It's their job. They're... feeling out my vibe."
"Trevor sucks dick," he rubbed his hands over his face.
Hayden reached out, running her hand through his hair. "You didn't like his questions?"
"No."
"You're cute when you're worked up, you know that?"
Quinn rolled his eyes, but smiled despite himself. "Go to sleep."
"Fine," she said, rolling onto her back and pulling the covers over her. "For the record, I wasn't lying about the tea."
"Goodnight Hayden," he chuckled.
"Night, Huggy."
Hayden couldn't help but wonder if this weekend was proving that maybe... they weren't meant to just be "friends."
~~
Breakfast passed as normal, Trevor making comments about "volleyball rematch strats" and Jack pestering Hayden about if she'd ever stay for another "family" holiday again. Quinn kept his head down, gritting his teeth through most of it.
By the time they made it down for another round of games in the late afternoon, Quinn was wound so tightly he could feel it in the back of his neck.
And then... Trevor started again.
"Hayden, I think you should be the ref," he said tossing the ball between his hands. "You're way too good at this. It's like totally unfair to the rest of us."
"She's not that good," Quinn said, adjusting the net.
"Oh, come on, Qball. Don't be bitter just because she carried my team yesterday."
Hayden cocked an eyebrow. "I'm standing right here, ya know?"
Trevor smirked. "Trust me, I know."
Quinn felt a rush of heat flood his chest, a sharp pang of jealousy and irritation that he couldn't ignore.
"Alright," he snapped, letting go of the net and stepping back. "Can we just play already?"
"Jeez, man. Relax," Trevor blinked, his grin fading slightly.
"Quinn," Hayden mumbled, but he was already walking toward the house, his jaw set and his fists clenched at his sides

She found him a few minutes later, standing in the kitchen and staring out the window at the water.
"What are you doing?" he exhaled sharply.
Hayden frowned. "What'd you mean?"
"This," he gestured towards the lake. "With Trevor. With all of them. You're enjoying this way too much."
"So what if I am? It's harmless, Quinn."
"It's not harmless," his voice rose. "They're pushing, Hayden. They're asking all these questions, making comments--and you're feeding into it!"
"I'm not feeding into it," she said, her tone defensive. "I'm just... playing along."
"Well... maybe you should stop."
"What's your problem, Hughes?" she narrowed her eyes. "You're the one who agreed to keep this under wraps. I'm just doing what you asked."
"Yeah, well, it's not fucking working. They clearly know."
"So what?" she challenged, stepping closer. "What's the worst that could happen? They find out we're sleeping together? Who cares?"
"I care!" Quinn yelled, his voice echoing off the walls.
Hayden froze, her eyes as wide as saucers.
He sighed. "I care, Hayden. Because this isn't just some game for me. It never has been."
The tension in the room was thick, the weight of his words hanging between them.
"Quinn..."
"You have no idea how hard this has been," he said, his voice low and intense. "Watching them flirt with you, tease you--like you're just some... some random girl I brought along."
"Q..."
"I know we're not serious. Not official," he continued, his words tumbling out in a rush. "I know you don't want anything serious. But you're mine, Hayden. And it's fucking killing me to sit here and pretend that you're not."
Her breath hitched, her eyes locked on his.
"Say something," his voice was rough, almost pleading.
Hayden didn't say anything. Instead, in two quick steps, she grabbed his face and pulled him down into a kiss.
Quinn froze for a quarter of a second before his hands found her waist, pulling her closer. The kiss was hot and urgent, everything that Quinn had been bottling up for months spilling out at once.
They stumbled back toward the counter, Hayden's hands tangling in his hair as he lifted her onto the edge. She wrapped her legs around his waist, pulling him impossibly closer as his lips trailed down her neck, leaving a burning path in their wake.
"Quinn," she whispered, breathless.
He pulled back just enough to look in her eyes. "Tell me this isn't just casual for you."
She stared at him, her lips swollen and her cheeks flushed. "It's not," she admitted. "Hasn't been for a while."
"Good," he murmured, leaning in to kiss her again.
~~
The lay tangled together in his bed, the room quiet except for them both trying to catch their breath, Hayden drawing patterns on Quinn's bare chest with her finger.
He felt lighter than he had in days, the knot in his chest finally loosened... maybe even gone.
"You okay?" she whispered, pressing a kiss to the skin of his pec.
"Yeah, you?"
She tilted her head up, scruncing her nose as he kissed it. "I'm good."
Finally, they could both breathe easy.
~~
Jack and Trevor were already bickering as Hayden headed downstairs in the morning. She paused in the doorway, taking a second to tug the hem of Quinn's hoodie further down her thighs. It was comically oversized on her, the sleeves swallowing her hands, but it was warm and soft, and she hadn't felt like getting dressed into her own clothes.
Her hair was a mess from both sleep and sex, and her skin was flushed in places Quinn's stubble had brushed against the night before. She wasn't even thinking about it was she padded into the kitchen, bare feet against the hardwood floor.
Trevor was the first to notice. Of course.
"Morning, Hayden," he said cheerfully, taking a bite of his eggs. Then his gaze dropped to the hoodie, and his smile widened. "Wait a second. Is that--"
Jack turned, taking in her appearance. "Oh, no way! Is that Quinn's hoodie?"
Hayden blinked, feigning innocence as she grabbed a mug from the counter and poured herself a cup of coffee. "Good morning to you too, Jack."
"Don't 'good morning' me," he pointed the spatula he was using at her. "What is going on here?"
Trevor's eyes flicked to her neck, and his jaw dropped. "Oh my God!"
"What?" she asked, sipping her coffee like nothing was amiss.
Trevor laughed, loud and incredulous, gesturing wildly. "You've got-- Jesus, Hayden."
"You're gonna have to be specific, Trevor."
Jack moved closer, squinting his eyes like he was solving a crime. This his eyes widened. "No fucking way!"
"What?" Luke asked. He followed Jack's gaze and nearly dropped his fork. "Oh, damn."
"What?" Cole said, peeking over Luke's shoulder. His eyes moved from Hayden to the hoodie to her neck, and then to Quinn, who had just walked in from the living room.
Quinn froze, his hair still damp from the shower and a fresh t-shirt clinging to his chest. "What's goin' on?"
Jack and Trevor turned to him in unison, both grinning like maniacs.
"Quinn," Jack started, his voice high-pitched with fake shock. "Care to explain why Hayden is wearing your hoodie and why her neck looks like she lost a fight with a fucking vampire?"
"Can we not do this right now?"
Trevor cackled, doubling over. "Oh, we're absolutely doing this right now."
"Dude," Luke shook his head. "I thought you said nothing was going on."
Cole smirked, "Guess the couch wasn't so comfortable after all."
"Not helping," Quinn shot him a glare.
"Y'all are making a big deal out of nothing," Hayden said, popping a piece of bacon into her mouth.
Trevor pointed at her, smiling like the Cheshire Cat. "Oh, no. This is not 'nothing', Hayden."
"Looks like something to me," Jack wiggled his eyebrows.
"Guys," Quinn's voice was strained. "Can you please just drop it?"
"Oh, come on, Quinny!" Jack nudged him in the ribs. "This is a big moment. You've got a girlfriend now!"
"She's not my--" Quinn started, but Hayden cut him off.
"Careful, Jack," she smirked. "You sound jealous."
Trevor howled with laughter, gripping the counter for support. "She's good. She's so good."
Quinn groaned, running a hand through his hair. “I hate all of you.”
“No, you don’t,” Hayden said lightly, taking another sip of her coffee.
Luke, who had been mostly quiet, finally spoke up. “So, uh... are we gonna talk about this, or are you just gonna keep pretending it’s ‘nothing’?”
“It’s nothing,” Quinn muttered, glaring at his brothers.
“Yeah, sure,” Cole said, smirking. “We believe you.”
Hayden laughed softly, setting her mug down. “Alright, boys. Enough interrogation. Let the man eat breakfast in peace.”
“Fine,” Jack said, holding up his hands. “But this isn’t over.”
Quinn sighed, grabbing a plate and filling it with eggs and toast. He sat down at the table, avoiding everyone’s gaze.
Hayden slid into the chair beside him, her smile softening as she leaned in close enough for only him to hear. “You okay, Hughes?” she asked for the millionth time that trip.
He exhaled a quiet laugh, his shoulders relaxing slightly. “I’m fine.”
“Good,” she said, squeezing his hand three time under the table.
Quinn didn’t look up, but the faint smile tugging at his lips didn’t go unnoticed.
Maybe the chaos was all worth it in the end. Because Quinn Hughes finally had the girl of his dreams.

Synopsis: dad!Simon stops you from heading to a date and has you hang out with him instead.
Cw: incest
Come Sit On My Lap
"Where do you think you're going?"
The voice rumbled out of the darkened living room causing your heart to leap into your throat. You whirled around, diverted from your trek towards the door.
"Dad! You're home," you exclaimed happily, a smile creeping across your face as you made out his shadowy form sitting in his recliner, tucked back into the far corner where he could see everything.
It's where you'd normally find him after coming home from a deployment. Still too tightly strung to find rest in a bed, the position far too vulnerable. So he'd post up in his big, comfortable chair instead. It allowed him a clear line of sight of the entryway while also letting him find some sort of rest if he could manage to doze in the plush cushioning.
"Mmm. I'm home and the first thing I see is you trying to sneak out of the house, how's that for a welcome?"
"First off, I'm an adult. I wasn't sneaking out of the house. I just didn't realize you were back," an admonishing smile peeked out as you made your way into the darkened living room, "second off, what if I was sneaking out? What're you going to do? Ground me?"
"Well, I guess that depends on why you were sneaking out. Going to meet up with a boy, were you?" he asked, giving you an obvious up-down and judging your attire. You smiled and gave a little twirl, showing off your new dress you had bought for just this occasion.
"I am, actually," you smoothed a hand down the skirt, making sure it was laying correctly, "seeing a guy, that is."
You didn't notice in the dark but your Dad's face grew stony, no emotion finding it's way from behind his eyes. It was like the whole room was holding it's breath for a split second.
"Is that so?" he took a drink of the amber liquid sitting next to him, "Why don't you come over here, let me see you better."
Not seeing any reason to argue you made your way over, coming to a stop directly in front of him. He gave a little 'spin around' motion with his finger which made you laugh before you complied, spinning on the ball of one foot to allow the skirt to flair out ever so slightly with your movement.
When you came to a stop facing him once more you smiled in delight, not noticing the predatory look in his eyes. What you did notice was him leaning forward and grasping your waist.
"Dad?"
With a sharp tug he pulled you into his lap, legs over the arm of the chair as your shoulder and side pressed into his abdomen.
"Dad! What are you—what are you doing?" you gasped in surprise, putting your hands on his shoulders to try and stabilize yourself. It had been years since you'd sat on his lap but you fit just as well now as you did back then.
One thing about your dad was he was always larger than life. This behemoth that never let anything get in his way. It had never failed to comfort you. If there was a problem you knew he could handle it, you only had to ask and it would be taken care of. It went to your head sometimes.
You tried to pull your legs down but he wrapped a large arm over your knees, placing a work-roughened palm against the outside of your thigh, holding you in place.
"Who's this boy you're going to see?" he ignored your slight squirming as he encased you in his arms, his other going behind your back to pin support you.
You settled down after a moment, accepting this would be your position for the next little bit. You relaxed into him, letting him take your weight and rested your head on his shoulder, forehead tucked into the crook of his neck as you looked down at your hands placed in your lap. You started to twiddle your fingers.
"I don't know, just someone who I've been talking to. He's been really sweet so we were going to go to a drive-in tonight to watch a movie."
He didn't say anything for a moment, just sat and held you, resting his cheek ever so slightly against the top of your head. You thought you heard him sniff your hair but that must've been a mistake.
The silence prompted you to fill it.
"He's been really nice to me, I think you'd like him," you tried, unsure of this thing that was hovering in the air but trying to inject some normalcy into the conversation. "He's been excited about seeing this movie with me all week."
"Of course he has," your dad scoffs in admonishment making your shoulders rise towards your ears for a split second before you lowered them again, "a drive-in is where you go to fuck your date."
"Dad!"
"It's the truth and if you're too naive to see it you won't be going tonight." You tried to pull away so you could sit up and look at him but he just cradled you tighter, fully tucked into his warm body.
"Well maybe I want that tonight, have you thought of that?" you sputtered your rebuttal into his chest but tried anyways. You felt your face heating talking about this with your dad but he was the one who started it.
And besides. It was true, you did want something to happen tonight. You'd been thinking about it all day and you were slick between the thighs even now. While getting ready you had touched yourself over you panties, teasing yourself with a glimpse of what was to come—working yourself up. The slick slide of your thighs reminded you of your debauchery with every move.
And now your dad was trying to cockblock you.
You pouted down towards your lap, safe in the assurance he couldn't see you.
"Pouting about how badly you want it?" You jerked in surprise, how did he always know what you were doing? "Want someone between your thighs tonight, you little whore?"
~~~
"I don't—that's so inappropriate," Simon smiled as you stuttered, clearly unsure of what was happening. He'd never acted this way before and watching you flounder had him chubbing up in his pants, blood rushing south at your sense of propriety.
He was going to enjoy pushing you tonight.
It was your own fault for coming out looking like that.
" 'S not inappropriate. It's a fathers job to take care of their kids, no matter what that looks like," his hand rubbed back and forth against the warm skin of your outer thigh. It felt silken under his fingertips. "If you need someone to deal with your whining cunt then so be it. I'll be handling it."
He felt you clench your thighs together tightly at his quiet commandment that he would be addressing your problems. He knew how it turned you on when he was competent. He'd seen you shuffle in your seat or excuse yourself to your room when he took care of things for you.
Your pussy was going to be included on that list.
His hand came around to rest at the seam halfway between your knee and hip, his wide palm covering a good portion of skin. He didn't press, just slowly stroked his thumb along the soft plushness, waiting for you to open up, to let him in.
"We shouldn't be doing this," you whispered, grasping at straws "this is wrong."
That finally got him to let you sit up. Still with one arm behind you he grasped your chin with his other, turning you to look into his eyes, unable to look away. They were inky black pools in this shadowed corner—watching everything and allowing nothing to slip past.
"There is nothing wrong with pleasure. I'm not the kind of father to sit back and watch his kid hurting." He watched as your eyes darted down to his lips before looking away. Felt the heat of your face against his fingertips. "I don't want you getting hurt by some overeager little shit rutting like a beast between your legs."
"I don't—Dad . . ."
Even now you looked to him for guidance. It went to his head how trusting you were, looking to him to help you out of this situation he was placing you in. He'd help. Make no mistake about it.
"I know, sweetheart," he cooed condescendingly as his thumb raised to trace along your lower lip, a wave of heat rushing through him when your tongue subconsciously followed the path his thumb took. When it caught up to the digit he knew he was gone. The wet give of the muscle against his skin was unlike anything he'd felt before.
You were such a fucking slag.
He held himself back from shifting his hips to rub against you through pure force of will. He wouldn't scare you off just yet, not when the reward was sitting right in front of him, waiting to be coaxed into his hand, sweet as you please.
"I thought that I raised a good girl. But you haven't been one, have you? It seems like when I'm away you turn into quite the little slut. I bet if I reached between your legs right now, played with those cute panties you have on, I'd find you dripping, wouldn't I?"
You didn't respond to that, your eyes darting away in shame as you tried to pull your chin free. Simon tightened his grip to keep you pinned facing him. He drank up your discomfort with delight. He wanted you to make that same face when you were tucked underneath him.
"No need to be shy now, after all you wouldn't have been shy once you got to the movies. Go on then, prove me wrong. Show me you're not wetter than a whore right now."
He watched tears fill your eyes as you valiantly fought not to let them spill over your lashline while you squirmed in discomfort. He was fully hard at this point and every movement you made rubbed his cock between his own leg and the fat of your ass. It took everything in him not to toss you to the floor in that moment and crawl between your legs.
He had to fight to keep his breathing steady as your legs slowly parted giving him access to the treasure housed between.
Maintaining eye contact he dropped his palm down to your knee, squeezing in a mockery of comfort before slowly trailing up the inside of your thigh. You radiated heat, soaking into his skin with every slow inch climbed. He listened to your hitched breathing with delight knowing he was the one causing such reactions.
When he reached your apex he was greeted with exactly what he'd been expecting.
"It seems I've raised a whore."
That caused the tears to finally spill as you denied it fervently. You tried to push his arm away but it was useless. He had you in the palm of his hand and he had no intention of letting go now. You closed your thighs around his hand, trying to protect your center but only pinning him firmly against you.
"I don't know why I expected anything else—everyone knows your mother was a slag so it's my own fault for thinking you'd be any different.
"Dad, please!" you cried, holding onto his forearm now that it was clear you weren't going to be able to push him away. "Please don't be mean to me."
You always were his sensitive little girl, weren't you. Couldn't stand a harsh word spoken to you without breaking down into tears. He was gratified that same reaction remained even now. He wondered how far he could push you before you would sob.
A goal for next time.
"You don't want to be called a whore? You want to be my good girl instead?" —you nodded firmly— "Then spread your legs for me, let me see this cunt that won't quit crying on my fingers."
You sniffled as you reluctantly opened your legs giving him free range. So obedient. Maybe he did raise you right.
Now with room to properly explore he dragged firm fingers up the indent of your slit, enjoying the texture of the soaked fabric against his skin. Watching you give an aborted twitch of your hips sent heat racing down his spine. He wanted you making those twitches while speared open on his cock. He wanted to feel every muscle spasm and hitched hips you'd give him. Pulling the wet fabric to the side he repeated the motion skin-on-skin.
Your whimpering moan was musical.
"You say you're not a whore but you sound like that when I get my fingers on you? Your own dad?" He scoffed deridingly, "you must think I was born yesterday."
"I'm not a whore," you insisted with a gasp, hips moving like you were unsure if you wanted to press closer or pull further away. "It's just—it feels really good," you ended on a mumble, ashamed.
"Feels good, hmm?" Simon smirked to himself, "well let's see what else feels good for this needy cunt."
Moving down he wasted no time pressing one finger in to the knuckle, entranced at the lack of resistance. Your body practically sucked it up inside it was so greedy. He watched the faces you made as he stroked at your sensitive insides, his callouses adding a delightful roughness to the sensation.
It was the work of minutes to have continuous moans falling from your mouth as you humped his hand—the wet squelch of his fingers a counter-tune. By this point your slickness was all the way to his wrist, smearing down onto his clothed thigh—staining the fabric with your essence.
He watched with avarice as you grew closer to your peak.
"I need to cum."
That was the best you could do? No, he wasn't going to let you off the hook that easily. It was clear you'd been suffering from a lack of discipline since he was gone so often. If he wanted to correct your behavior it would start here.
"That was pathetic. Try again."
"Dad," you cried, whether from your encroaching orgasm or from his harsh words who knew, "please, I need it. Please make me cum."
"Still not quite there, try again."
He watched you scramble trying to find the right words, trying to figure out what he wanted to hear in order to let you cum. He wasn't going to help you, not when those pretty, pleading eyes went straight to his cock.
"I—I'm sorry for being such a whore," you tried, mumbling it quietly under your breath.
"I couldn't hear you. Did you say you wanted me to stop?" he slowed his fingers and began to withdraw them.
"No!" you choked, clawing at his arm as if you were trying to sink your nails in and hold him in place, "I'm sorry I'm such a slut."
"—who gets wet with her daddy's fingers inside her."
"I can't—" he shifted his fingers again, "who gets wet with my daddy's fingers inside me," you finished quickly, shame coating your voice.
"There we go, that wasn't so hard now was it?"
Getting what he wanted he returned to his motions with purpose, bringing you to the edge of your orgasm within moments. With one last twist of his fingers he sent you over the edge, falling into the abyss that was him.
He watched your face as you fell, drinking in the parted lips and unseeing eyes. This was something to remember. The first time he made his baby fall apart on his fingers.
It certainly wouldn't be the last.
Easing you down gently he tucked you back into the crook of his neck as the last aftershocks raced their way through your trembling muscles.
"Look at that, seems you've missed your movie. I guess you'll have to stay home with me instead." He pressed a kiss to your forehead, "Let's head to bed. I know just the thing to tire me out so I can get some sleep."
I'm not done talking about how stupid of a take that 'Stolas is selfish because he chose Blitz over Octavia' is.
But this time, I want to talk about the implications that Blitz being executed has.
Let's start with the I.M.P crew, Loona loses her loving father, who she very clearly cares a lot for, Moxxie and Millie lose their best friend and their jobs at the same time, as the asmodean crystal is registered in specifically Blitz's name, meaning that Blitz dying means the human killing business dies with it, because they have no other reliable options for getting to the living world. Fizzarolli loses his best friend as well that he only recently got back into his life.
Plus, Blitz being executed would just send Satan's message loud and clear to all of imp-kind, which basically amounted to 'We'll kill you if you step out of line. We'll kill you if you even attempt to rise above your station we forced upon you. We'll kill you if you ever dare to challenge our power and authority. We'll kill you if you aren't our little obedient puppets.'
Stolas knows that Blitz is a father, Stolas knows that the Asmodean Crystal is registered in Blitz's name, and if chose to let Blitz die, he'd have to live with the fact that his choice caused so much suffering and pain to others, including to other people Stolas knows Blitz cares about deeply, showing that the stakes have always been much higher than just 'Blitz vs Octavia', even for Stolas.
Tumblr media
Stolas went into that trial fully expecting to be killed, Stolas went into that trial assuming that Blitz would eventually be okay after his death, to allow Blitz to keep his found family and keep being able to provide for himself and others with I.M.P, to allow Blitz to keep making that name for himself.
Tumblr media
You might be thinking at this point, 'but wait, then why did Stolas mention his daughter after he lost his powers and such then?', and I have the answer to that question right here.
Again, Stolas went into that trial fully expecting to be executed, and in s1 e2, during that song Stolas sang to Octavia as a kid, Stolas says "When I'm gone, you'll be okay…", which is quite literally saying that Octavia will be okay, even in the event of Stolas' death, which I'm pretty confident in saying that Stolas genuinely believes in this. I just don't think that Stolas factored in Stella and Andrealphus being abusive and manipulative towards Octavia specifically, which I believe perfectly explains why Stolas only mentioned Octavia after he got his actual punishment.
Tumblr media
Plus, Stolas knew that Octavia would inherit everything of his in the case of his own death, because he literally ensured that everything and I mean everything would pass to Octavia, as Andrealphus bluntly points in s2 e4, alongside giving Octavia the chance to experience happiness, to be able to choose happiness, even when he's dead.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finally, I shouldn't even need to say this but,
1: We all know that Stolas would literally sacrifice everything for Octavia, he literally was sacrificing his own happiness for so many years so that Octavia could live a 'normal life'.
2: Stolas had to make a split-second decision there, he had zero time to think anything over, plus Octavia wasn't anywhere close to being in mortal danger, but Blitz was.
In conclusion, if you all want to insist on making this thing a trolley problem, then I beg of you, remember the problem is nowhere near purely 'Blitz vs Octavia' for all of the reasons I've brought up in this post, and also remember that it's Andrealphus and Stella who tied them down on the tracks to begin with.
You sigh as you lean into the leather seat. The music is loud enough to hurt, but you don’t turn the volume down, glad of the noise even if you don’t feel like singing along. Trees fly by outside the window as you drive.
A sign passes in a flash but you catch the number; 45. Your speedometer reads 55.
Making sure you’re alone on the road, you push it to 57 just for kicks. Even as the dark scenes on either side pass in a blur, the road ahead is clear. The moon hangs low and bright above, reflecting off the filled-in parts of the pavement.
The song changes and you sigh again upon hearing the familiar tune. It only reminds you of your wife; who should be home and in bed with you, but ended up on night-shift instead after hassling a suspect a bit too hard, canceling your planned evening.
Which leads you to driving the backroads between Westview and Eastview, hoping the journey will tire you out enough that you can sleep. Instead it lands you in the position of blowing past a hidden cop.
Just your luck.
You groan as you turn the music down and pull off the road into a flat area of grass. With the lights, you can’t tell if it's a Westview or Eastview officer at first. You have pretty good chances of getting off with a warning if it's one of Agnes’ coworkers.
But it’s not one of the regular officers. It’s the Chief’s car. You hit your head against the steering wheel. He’s been riding Agnes’ ass for months and will likely give you a hefty ticket just to spite her.
While you’re hitting your head against the wheel, there’s a knock on your window. You roll it down without looking, “Look, Chief, I know the deal. You can just write me a ticket and I’ll pay it tomorrow.”
“Oh, will you now?”
You pause.
Looking up in disbelief, “Agnes?”
“That’s Detective O’Connor to you.” Her face doesn’t change from the stern facade, “You were driving pretty recklessly back there. Have you been drinking tonight, ma’am?”
Subtly as you can manage, you check your side mirror to see if anyone else sits in the police cruiser. It wouldn’t be unlike the Chief to put Agnes through some insane test. No shadows lurk in the other car.
You drag your eyes back to Agnes. She’s waiting, still just as stoic, but you see the mischief in her eyes. Well, if she wants to play, why not up the stakes?
Tilting your head and smiling, “Of course not, detective. I’ve been a good girl.”
A split-second pause tells you she wasn’t expecting that. She licks her lips before the act slips back into place. She scoffs.
“That’s what they all say. Wait here.” Her hand pats the open window before she’s heading back toward the cruiser.
You watch her walk away in the side mirror with a grin. Her confident gait stirs something in you, always has.
For a split second you consider throwing the car in drive and peeling out of here. You’re curious to see what Agnes would do. You hope she’d chase you all the way home; that way when you get there you could finally have a taste of what tonight was meant to be.
You want Agnes painfully. Between work deadlines on your end and long hours on hers, you’ve been too tired to do more than cuddle, or some heavy kissing on a better day. You miss the connection that comes from baring yourselves to one another. And the orgasms, too, of course.
Agnes is back at your window, breathalyzer in hand. You make a split second decision.
“Please, detective, I can’t afford another ticket, and my wife will be so mad.” You plead, using that innocent, wide-eyed expression you know turns her on, “Is there anything I can do to… pay it off, per se?”
To her credit, she doesn’t crack this time, “Are you soliciting an officer of the law, ma’am?”
“No, of course not! Unless that’s what you want.”
“Step out of the car.”
The commanding note in her voice goes straight between your thighs. You open the door and step out, watching her brows raise at only the long nightgown you’re wearing. There’s a chill in the air that makes you shiver. Her eyes are drawn to your chest before she shakes away whatever is going through her mind.
While you’re enjoying the game, you do hope she’ll let you get back in the car soon. The cold is unmanageable without more substantial clothing.
Agnes holds up the breathalyzer, “Open your mouth.”
You do so without thinking. A blush races up your face. Agnes can’t help but smirk.
It’s not the breathalyzer that finds itself between your lips, but two fingers that settle on your tongue and press. You jolt at the pressure. Tears come to your eyes as you gag, but the weight of her fingers doesn’t ebb. You fight against your gag reflex to curl your tongue around the digits.
Closing your lips around them, you swirl your tongue like one would around a piece of candy. Even through blurred vision you can see how Agnes’ eyes darken. She leans forward, staring at your lips.
Her fingers move deeper, pressing harder, fucking your throat. You swallow around them.
You find your mouth and throat empty as Agnes pulls out. Her hand grabs your face before you can close your mouth and holds it open, fingers wet against your cheek. She grins meanly.
“Stick out your tongue.”
The second you do, Agnes spits in your mouth. You whimper. It’s humiliating and you feel yourself clench around nothing. You leave your tongue in the position she demanded, obedient as ever.
Agnes laughs, “Swallow.”
Humiliation, in combination with your startling need for her touch, forces the tears to spill over and down your cheeks. The sight of them seems to please her. She’s always loved seeing you thoroughly debased; loves knowing only she can break you down like this.
Partners in the past did try. Yet they would hesitate, hold back, believing they knew the limits of your desire instead of trusting you. A few would panic when they saw tears in your eyes and pull out of the scene completely. You often found yourself pretending; toning down your desires to ‘acceptable’ levels and leaving yourself unsatisfied to avoid that worried look in your partner’s eyes.
But you’ve never had to pretend with Agnes. From that first time, she went as far as she wanted, knowing that you were an adult capable of safe-wording if it was too much; it wasn’t. You had been dripping and needy the entire time. You had cried while she sat back and watched you polish her boots with your tongue, and had nearly come undone from the act alone. It was everything you craved—Agnes was everything you craved; trusting, dominating, cruel when it suited, and the most loving partner you’ve ever known.
You had vowed then and there that you weren’t letting her get away. And how lucky for you that she put a ring on your finger; the ring that is so much more than a symbol of love; but a brand, too, just as you desire.
“I wonder what your wife would think of you offering yourself up to me,” Agnes muses, “but you’re so eager for it, I can’t help but wonder if she’s not satisfying you properly.”
“Only you can satisfy me, detective.” You flutter your lashes.
That draws a real laugh from her. Something inside you preens. You lean forward into Agnes’ space, angling your head for a kiss, but she pulls back.
“Be that as it may, soliciting an officer is a crime, as is reckless driving.” Her hands reach for her belt, where her handcuffs rest in one of the holsters, “I’m going to have to take you in.”
Though the idea of being cuffed and fucked however she pleases excites you, you’re not entirely pleased with how your original plan was ruined. Agnes knew where the line was during interrogations and she crossed it. Knowingly. It’s safe to say you’re a little pissed she acted out.
A mean-spirited voice in your head considers pushing Agnes away entirely, leaving her wet and turned on for the rest of the night shift while you go home and find solace in your favorite toy. The rational part of you knows that no toy can replace your wife, and it’s her you want. You’re just not going to make it easy for her.
You fall to your knees before she can work the cuffs off her belt. She jolts at the unexpected change. You slam against the ground pretty hard and wince, but don’t dare stop.
Your hands find her belt buckle. Deftly, you start to undo it, “Please, I can make you feel good. I’ll do anything.”
Agnes raises her brows. She doesn’t stop you from undoing her belt or slowly lowering the zipper of her pants. There’s a tenseness in her jaw as she thinks over the request. Intent on sealing the deal, you move your hands from the front of her pants; instead leaning forward to place a kiss where they’d just been.
Looking up through your lashes, you beg, “Please.”
“Well, since you’re so eager for it.”
Ignoring the screaming in your knees, you shoot to your feet, capturing Agnes’ lips in a hard kiss. You attack with lips and teeth and tongue. At the same time, you slip your hand inside her pants and past the waistband of her panties.
She groans against your lips when your fingers play in her wetness. Your fingers ghost over her clit and you grin into the kiss. Two hands settle on your hips and shove, your back hitting the side of your car; it hurts for a moment before you’re once again lost in the feel of your wife, how she’s using her position to grind against your hand, the obscene noises leaving her throat.
Your clit throbs with every roll of her hips. It’s intoxicating that she’s just taking what she wants, using you as a toy to achieve her own pleasure. But the desire between your own legs reminds you of the end goal.
Agnes’ hips pick up speed, her usual low groans evolving into panting, high-pitched whimpers. She’s so close. You consider letting her have what she wants.
Moments before she can fall over the edge you pull your hand from her pants. Hands settling on her chest, you shove her back. She jolts and stumbles. Her fucked-out expression from seconds earlier shifts to confusion, then anger.
“What the fuck?” Agnes snarls.
“You’ve been bad, detective.” Still leaning against the car, you cross your arms over your chest, “Or should I say Daddy.”
Agnes stands straighter. There’s steel in her spine now, jaw taught as darkness comes over her expression. Amusement alights inside your chest.
Her hands begin to unravel the belt from the loops of her pants, “I’m going to paint your backside blue.”
“I don’t think so.” Your voice is hard. “You see, I had a lovely evening planned for us. Dinner, a movie, clean sheets for us to spend all night ruining. And we didn’t get to enjoy any of it because someone couldn’t control her temper. So you, daddy, are going to fuck me until I decide I’m ready to forgive you.”
“It’s cute that you think you’re in control, baby.”
Agnes steps into your space, belt in her hands. You stop her with a hand on her chest before she can get close enough to do anything.
“I am in control.”
“Those with the upper hand don’t usually have to state the fact.”
You tilt your head, “If you don’t give me what I want, you’re not going to touch me for weeks. I’ll fuck myself and all you’ll be able to do is watch. And I’ll stuff all the pairs of panties I ruin into your bag, your pockets… everywhere you go, you’ll be reminded of just what you’re missing.”
The smug expression slowly slips from her face. She tries to push forward again, but you’re unyielding; clenching your fist in the fabric of her shirt until she feels the subtle bite of your nails. There’s fury and a small trace of fear in her eyes.
It’s rare that you have the upper hand. Usually Agnes is twelve steps ahead of everyone—you included. But this time she miscalculated, and she’s going to pay for it.
“Your choice, daddy.”
She scoffs. Shaking her head, a few pieces of her hair free themselves from her low ponytail. They lay in and over her face before she blows them out of the way carelessly. She hasn’t been taking care of it, you can tell; and briefly, you consider if you can get away with commandeering her into taking better care of herself.
You likely shouldn’t push your luck. Agnes is going to punish you enough for this stunt, you’re sure.
The belt is tossed onto the ground a few feet away in a silent show of surrender. Her eyes are dark, churning with a mixture of fury and arousal. A brief moment passes where you wonder if you’re taking this a bit too far, but you shove it down; Agnes is an adult just as you are and will tell you if you cross any hard lines.
“Is the heat on in the cruiser?” You ask.
She pauses, taken-aback, “Yeah, of course.”
“Good. You’re going to fuck me in it later. But first—”
You open the back door of your own car as wide as it can go, just so you can perch on the seat with your feet still outside. With a smile, you open your legs wide. You hadn’t considered this outcome when you left the house for your drive, so your panties are relatively plain, but it doesn’t matter since they’re soaked through.
Agnes takes a step forward and you hold up a finger. She pauses. You point at the ground.
Her face goes red, “Not fucking likely.”
And then she’s on you. She’s holding herself up with one hand on the seat, the other dragging your face to hers. Her body rests perfectly between your legs. With a low moan, you roll your hips against her front.
Her grip on your face is painful. Thank god her nails are clipped short.
Agnes pulls away from your mouth to bite and suck at your throat. You throw your head back, still grinding up against her, moaning with abandon. The friction is nice but it isn’t what you wanted.
“I want you to eat me out.” You force out.
“I don’t care what you want.” Agnes growls.
“Oh? Well, I guess I should be prepared to handle my own orgasms for a while, then.”
As you say that, you stop grinding, and lay fully against the seat, one of your arms snaking its way down your front and between your thighs. You’ve only circled a finger around your clit twice before her hand catches your wrist in a punishing grip.
“Try it and I’ll tie you to the bed everyday when I go to work.”
“I made my terms abundantly clear.”
“You know what you forgot though, brat?” Agnes taunts, lips right next to your ear, “You’re too greedy to settle for your hand or your little toys. It’s only a matter of time before you get bored and come crawling back to me.”
“Maybe I’ll just crawl to someone else. Agent Vidal has been hanging around.”
A hand closes around your throat and you whine. She squeezes, your vision going fuzzy around the edges. You roll your hips.
“I’ll lock you in the house if you even think about it.” Her voice is hard, promising, “You’re mine, baby.”
“Prove it.”
That’s the wrong thing to say.
Agnes pulls back completely. Her hands leave you, the pressure of her body is gone. You look up and she’s standing just far enough away that you can’t touch her. You growl.
The look on her face is one you’ve seen a dozen times; the very same one she wears when you’re about to endure something you don’t like. But you vow not to let her have the upper hand. Not this time. This time, you’re going to make her bend.
“I’ll see you in the morning.” She says.
The words are like a bucket of cold water over your head. You don’t spend long dwelling on the threat, there’s no time.
Agnes is halfway back to the police cruiser when you worm your hand into your panties and bury two fingers inside without preamble. Despite being the source of your own pleasure, you jolt, back bowing off the seat. The moan that leaves your lips is exaggerated; pornographic.
“Oh, yes!”
You hear her footsteps come to a stop. You don’t dare open your eyes, not yet. The pleasure you’re experiencing is real, even if it is half of what it could be with Agnes’ help, but you have to keep up the act—have to make her jealous of your own fingers.
Though she hates to admit it, Agnes is jealous in all aspects of life. There’s a bit of healthy competitiveness worked in there that you can admire. Yet some days… some days she comes home fighting mad, hair a mess and muscles clenched tight as she recounts the events that made her that way. And lately they’ve all had the same person involved—
Agent Rio Vidal.
A loaner agent from the FBI, here to figure out some of the more poignant details of a murder on the Westview-Eastview county line. She’s confident and cutting and painfully attractive. Somehow, she knows how to push every single one of Agnes’ buttons, in work and play.
You’ve only met her twice and each time Agnes was an animal afterward. The appreciative glances and suggestive words made you blush—and though you won’t admit it, turned you on a good bit—while Agnes could barely hold herself back from attacking the woman. So possessive. So jealous.
You can use that.
The door on the other car hasn’t opened and you know she’s watching with rapt attention. You put on a good show, rolling your hips into your one hand while pinching at your chest with the other. You could get off on her watching.
Another exaggerated, high-pitched moan, “Oh, Agent Vidal!”
Though the woman is attractive, you can’t imagine anyone but your wife. Agnes doesn’t need to know that.
Strong hands grab your calves and pull you half-way out of the car. You squeak, eyes snapping open. Agnes looms above you and oh fuck you’re in trouble.
“You little bitch.” She snarls, hand coming to wrap around your throat.
You try to moan but she doesn’t give you that much air. Another deft hand rips your own from your panties, even going so far as to rip the fabric off completely. There’s the ghost of her fingers above your center. You roll your hips.
The sensation of loss and blurry edges is usually a huge turn-on; maybe it’s the intense change from oxygen to no oxygen, but you’re struggling more than normal. You tap her wrist three times.
Agnes pulls away completely. Her hand is off your neck, the other gone from between your thighs. You take in large lungfuls of air and feel your heart-rate slow just a little. A little whine works its way from your throat, though it’s mainly a result of the throbbing between your legs that’s still driving you crazy.
Your wife’s hands hover over you, eyes concerned, “Honey?”
“I’m okay. You didn’t hurt me.” You assure, sitting up and kissing one of her palms, “The quick change just… startled me. I’m okay.”
“Should I… Do you need me to take you home?”
“Oh no, Agnes O’Connor, you’re going to finish what you started.” Spreading your legs offers an obscene picture of just how soaked you are, made even more tantalizing by the ripped panties clinging to your thigh, “Unless you want me to find someone else who can finish the job.”
It’s like flipping a switch.
Overwhelming is a word that could be used to describe Agnes in bed—smothering, even. She has a way of overtaking every single one of your senses at once. Your skin is on fire with her touch, with the faint strands of hair tickling your face. The scent of burnt break-room coffee clings to her jacket. You even taste it when her tongue invades your mouth, moaning obscenely against your lips.
You like being smothered, though. You crave it; aching for anything that will let you turn your mind off and just feel.
Agnes pulls back. Her breath is hot against your lips, “You’re such a brat.”
“Only for you, daddy.” You murmur.
A shudder passes through her at the name. Her grip tightens on you, near bruising. You moan.
“Where do you want me?”
“With your mouth between my legs.”
“Fingers?”
“Yes, please.”
Agnes chuckles, “So you do remember your manners. Interesting.”
You roll your eyes. To your luck, Agnes doesn’t see—if she had, you would have been punished accordingly. Though you realize things are a bit off-balance with your threat hanging in the air; any other time, Agnes would have you bent anyway she pleased, taking all she wanted until you couldn’t handle any more.
Being in control is… odd. Not unwanted, but odd. You have to be more aware of yourself, confident in every command that leaves your lips. You’re glad that this is Agnes’ preferred role even if you’re enjoying the change.
Lips kiss the inside of your thighs and you shudder. When she sinks her teeth in, you squeal, jolting at the change. Your hand falls to the top of her head.
“Not what I meant!”
“Oh, then what did you mean?” She taunts.
“If you don’t make me come right now so help me—”
The heat of her mouth on you is enough to shut you up. Her tongue drags up your slit with agonizing slowness. She teases at your clit for only a moment before repeating the slow drag, making you whine, pressing her head closer.
You feel the rumble of her laughter and god help you the vibrations feel amazing. Yet when you try to move your hips for more, her hands keep them pressed firmly to the leather seat.
Another threat sits on your lips that never comes to pass. With the last slow lick, she fastens her lips around your clit and sucks, hard. It’s painful and wonderful and your back bows off the seat, hands scrambling for anything to clench into. The weeks have been long and you know you’re not going to last.
“I’m going to come.” You force out.
She laughs again. That, in combination with her attention focused solely on your clit, sends you straight over the edge. You feel wild, unhinged as your hips move without any guidance from your mind, chasing the waves of pleasure that make your every muscle go taut.
But when the pleasure subsides, Agnes doesn’t stop. She pushes two fingers inside and curls them in that way you like so much. You clench around them, though you ache, not ready for more so soon.
“I can’t—Please, I can’t.” You beg.
“One more, baby. You can give me that, can’t you?”
“I can’t.”
“You can.”
And you do. Her fingers know every inch of you well, her mind cataloging every spot that makes you whine, every move she performs that sends you over the edge. She calls on that knowledge as the pads of her fingers rub against that spot inside you with abandon until you can’t breathe, shrieking and moaning loud enough that you worry someone will hear you miles away.
The pleasure tenses your body so tight that you worry the muscles will never relax again. It hurts in that delicious way only Agnes can bring out.
When you do relax, she’s licking gently at you, collecting the flavor on her tongue and savoring it like a fine wine. You twitch. The hand you have in her hair pushes as you attempt to slide further onto the seat, away from her mouth.
“No more,” you beg, “please.”
“Am I forgiven?”
You laugh, breathless, “Not quite.”
You tug her up wordlessly until the weight of her is draped over you. It’s nice, comforting to feel her close. Her warmth helps fight against the cold biting at your lower half. Sighing, you bury your face in her neck, your hand coming up to lazily play with her hair.
Agnes accepts the touch. She traces little patterns on your hip over the nightgown, soft and quiet. You can still see the red and blue lights from your hiding place in her neck.
“Why do you have the Chief’s car?” You ask.
She scoffs, “Mine broke down three hours into the shift. Had to call the Chief and walk all the way to his house to get the cruiser.”
“What? Agnes, why didn’t you call me?”
“I wanted you to enjoy your night in, honey.”
You think about arguing, but you recognize the exhaustion in her voice, and decide not to push it—for now. It’s an argument you can save for later.
“So what was it, the battery? I thought we just replaced it.”
“I think the old girl might just be done for. We’ve had her for a while.” Agnes shrugs.
“But that’s… we brought Nicky home in that car.” You whisper, chest aching.
Another piece of your life—connected to your baby—that you won’t get to keep. Agnes tenses, her breathing growing ragged, and you feel terrible; she’s likely already thought about this the whole shift, spent all these hours remembering it alone. That’s why she didn’t call you—she didn’t want to drag you bag into the deep end of the pain, too.
You press a gentle kiss to the side of her neck. No wonder she took the first opportunity to play with you, she needed the distraction.
“I’m sorry, my love.” You murmur.
“Not your fault, honey. These things happen.”
She sounds less and less like herself with every moment. You don’t want to shove the grief aside—the grief counselor said that only made things worse—but this isn’t how you want to handle it; Agnes draped over your freshly-debauched form in the backseat of your car.
This is a conversation, a breakdown for home, where the two of you can take all the time you need to soak in the new loss. You need to distract her away from this.
“Will the force offer you one of their vehicles?”
“Yeah. They should.”
“Where did you break down?”
“By the bridge on Old Forest.”
Perfect.
“Let’s give her a proper sendoff, then.”
Agnes pauses. The look she gives you is questioning, as if not quite believing your suggestion, but she knows better—knows you’re serious about this.
“Alright.”
Which is how you find yourself halfway across town, on a back road with no streetlights, pulling off perilously close to a ditch. Agnes' car is unmistakable even in the dark—from the extra mirror on the hood reflecting the moonlight to the dent in the back bumper she never got fixed. You feel suddenly overwhelmed as you trace your fingers over the body.
So many memories, good and bad. Your late-night trysts in the back seat. Bringing Nicky home. The back seat full of his stinky sports gear. Agnes’ old case files winding up on the floor.
Agnes comes up and drapes her jacket over your shoulders. The warmth of her body has seeped into the cloth, now blocking out the chill in the air, “This might not be the best idea.”
You raise a brow, “Cold feet, detective?”
“Mine are nice and warm. Yours, however...”
She looks up and down your scantily-clad form with a worried furrow of her brow. It’s sweet, but not needed.
“I don’t think our plans will keep me anything but warm.” You smile, leaning back against the car while pulling Agnes close, until every inch of her is pressed against your front. Her hands settle on your hips as she kisses you with a softness belaying the vulnerability she still feels, “Unlock the car.”
“Honey—”
“Agnes, would you rather I went home?” You murmur.
“Of course not.”
“Then what do you want?”
“Beats me.”
“You know what I want?”
Using your leverage against the vehicle, you draw one of your feet up the inside of Agnes’ leg, careful to press every part of yourself against her. Her warmth radiates through her flannel and jeans and you smile.
She raises a brow, “I’m sure I can guess.”
“I want you to bend me over in the backseat of this car like you did that first time. You remember, don’t you? How pissed you were that I’d been teasing you for five dates.” You laugh at the memory, “You couldn’t even make it out of the restaurant parking lot.”
“You were so loud we almost got caught.” She recalls, voice low, gravelly.
“There’s no one around to catch us now.”
Agnes wraps one of her arms around your waist and uses it to tug you sideways, making quick work of unlocking the car. With the hand not on your waist, she opens the back door, and eases her jacket from your shoulders. She lays it out on the cold seats with the warm side up.
Not for the first time, you’re moved by her consideration of your comfort. It would be so easy for a partner to disregard the little things if it meant getting to the end goal faster; but not Agnes. You reward her with a long, slow kiss.
When she pulls away, there’s a fond little smile on her lips. She pats your hip, “On your hands and knees.”
You obey without question. Crawling onto the backseat, you’re reminded of just how confined the space of a car is. You have to keep your head bowed so as not to hit your head on the roof. It’ll be worth your while, but you know the two of you will be feeling the adverse effects of this choice for days.
Agnes follows and shuts the door behind her. She works her way into the backseat until not a bit of space exists between the two of you. Every inch of her front is pressed against you, draped over you like a warm blanket. You push your backside back into her crotch, teasing.
“I should’ve sent you home to get your purple.” You say.
“Be good and you can have my cock later.”
Warm fingertips trail up the back of your thigh until they snake under the hem of your nightgown. The soothing heat of her touch is lovely compared to the bite of the cold air. You lean into it.
“Yes, daddy.” You sigh.
Her body pulls away from yours and you turn, confused. A sharp slap to your backside makes your breath stutter, your core clenching around nothing. Your toes curl.
“Interesting that you want to be good now, when you’ve been testing me all night.”
“What can I say? I’m motivated by rewards.”
You’re satisfied that Agnes seems to be in the moment, rather than locked up in the memories in her head. Intent on keeping it that way, you lean back into her, arching so you can match her entirely. Her muscles go taut and relax and being able to feel it makes you ravenous.
Two fingers push your ripped panties aside and begin to drag up your slit, teasing. It should be noted that you are trying to be good for her, offering the control she takes to so well. You like to think she can tell, too.
When she slips her fingers inside you without torturing you further, you’re sure she knows.
You push back, desperate. You want more of her and bad. It’s as if the orgasms she gave you less than an hour ago never happened. Every muscle in your body quakes with the knowledge of what only Agnes can give you. And you want it so deeply that it threatens to bring tears to your eyes.
“Please.” You beg without prompting, “Please, more.”
A split-second hesitation belays her surprise, but she does slip another finger inside, stretching you even wider. You can’t stop how you move, nor the noises that come out of your mouth. You feel cursed with hunger only she can sate.
It’s this car, this backseat, and the memories here that are driving you so mad. It’s the life attached to it that you never thought you would get; a family, a future, a wife who loves you despite all the ugly parts others had run from. It’s the years you haven’t had to live out alone, the pain you’ve shared. It’s the fact that this act was once a beginning and now it’s an end.
Her lips press against the back of your neck, impossibly gentle, so unlike the role she’s meant to be playing. Something inside you breaks.
“Agnes—“ You choke out.
“It’s okay, honey.”
You let go.
You let go from holding yourself back—fucking yourself on her fingers until you shriek with pleasure. You let go of the ball of emotions in your chest, of hunger and pleasure and guilt. You let go of the pain and let tears spill over onto your cheeks.
It’s not the best orgasm you’ve ever had, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s a goodbye to this piece of your life. It’s an end. And it hurts just the same as it feels good to embrace the potential of something new.
Agnes holds you, steady as ever. You feel the dampness of her own tears on your neck.
You turn and lay on your back, welcoming the weight of her. You use your thumbs to wipe away the tears coming from her beautiful blue eyes.
“Am I forgiven, or do we have to go another round?” She asks.
You grin, not taking your hands from her face, “You’re forgiven, my love.”
“Thank god.”
Agnes drops her head until it rests on your chest. You laugh, extracting the hair tie so you can run your fingers through the length of it. Her arms wrap around you as much as they can.
She presses a kiss to your chest, over where your heart is. You gently work through a knot in between your fingers. The windows are clouded with perspiration. Beads of water reflect what little moonlight peeks through the trees. Moonlight or no, you know every dip and curve of your wife’s form, and could identify every part of her without sight.
The stale coffee smell has worn off, replaced by the faint undertones of the cologne she wears each morning. It’s deep and musky and comforting.
Maybe it’s the weight of her head on your chest in combination with the memories that makes you speak, “Have you ever thought about us trying again?”
She tilts her head so she can look up into your eyes without lifting from her resting place. Her brows are furrowed.
“Trying again?”
The weight of her beautiful eyes on you almost makes you change the subject. These conversations are so much easier without that layer of intimacy. But you’ve started something and you’ll be damned if you don’t finish it.
“To be parents.” You whisper.
“I’m a little past due on that, baby.” Her smile is self-deprecating.
“I’m not.”
“You never wanted to carry. I remember that much.”
“That was then.” You continue smoothing through her hair, “Now… If you want to try again, I’ll do it. I want to do it.”
You can’t decipher the look in her eyes. She doesn’t pull away, but she’s tense.
“We don’t need to decide right now. We have time.”
She nods, “Alright.”
“You’ll still be daddy, even if you aren’t my baby-daddy.”
“That was terrible.”
It doesn’t stop her from grinning, nor does it stop you from laughing. Something in the tension eases. You can’t lean down and kiss her like this, so you press a kiss to the pads of your fingers, and press them to her lips. She nips at them playfully.
The quiet is nice, but you can feel the cold settling into your bones. You need to be back in a heated car before you get sick.
“When is your shift over?”
“In a few hours.”
You nod, figuring out what time she’ll come home and how it fits into your schedule, “I have nothing after work if you want me to make good on those orgasms I owe you.”
“I look forward to it.”
It takes some time, but you and Agnes manage to untangle yourselves and worm your way out of the back seat. She sits, keeping you wrapped in her coat, until the inside of your own car is nice and warm. That earns her a few lingering kisses.
She trails you on the drive home before speeding off to do god knows what during the last few hours of her shift. And when you fall asleep—already feeling sore—an eagerness sets in your chest of what awaits. With an end, a new beginning.
A funny prompt: Gaz’ No-Good, Terrible, Very Bad day. In which in the span of 24 hours he walks in on NikPrice, GhostSoap, then AleRudy bumping uglies because those pairs of idiots keep having sex in weird places and Gaz keeps having to bare witness.
How you wanna play it is up to you, but I love the way you write Gaz and I wanted to lean more into the comedic side of sexy times rather than the hot n heavy stuff this once.
Mikey, I love you for this prompt. I actually wrote it all out and then Tumblr shat itself. Serves me right for writing in the app on my phone, eh? I hope this redo is as good. Two of my favourite things: humour and sex.
Gaz has a really bad day.
cw: sexual content.
Really, Gaz should have called it a day when he had decided to have a Rich Tea with his breakfast brew and the fucker had broken off in it because he had gone zero point one second over the optimum dunking threshold. Bad omen. Yeah, pack it all up lads, turn in.
If someone were to ask him precisely when his day had gone to shit, he would definitely say it was then, because if he had to recall the next part he was pretty sure he'd require several sessions of therapy.
It was unusual for the store cupboard to be locked, which was his first warning that something was amiss. But airpods in and his mind on the afternoon's planned exercise with Bravo Company, he didn't think much of it. There were only five people on base with a key, so it was easier to leave the door unlocked. When it came time for inventory at the end of the week, Price was disturbingly effective at nailing anyone with sticky fingers so no one bothered pushing their luck.
As DJ Snake turned down for what and the beat dropped, Gaz tugged his lanyard out of his shirt and jammed the key in the lock. Shouldering the door open, he slapped a hand over the light switch and looked up at the same time, only to be faced with Lieutenant Riley's lily-white arse pounding between two hairy legs directly opposite. "What the fuck?"
Gaz practically slapped himself in the face in his haste to snatch the airpods from his ears and cover his eyes with his palm. He heard rather than saw Tav slide down the wall he'd been pinned to, and the resulting yelp as he hit the concrete floor.
"Did ya ma no' teach ye tae knock?" Tav squawked.
"You're in the store cupboard, Tav! The fucking store cupboard!"
"We locked the door..."
"He has private fucking quarters, which is... literally what they could be used for, fuck my life!"
Ghost cleared his throat and Gaz chanced a look through the slats of his fingers. He regretted it almost immediately when he glimpsed the lieutenant's monster hog, which was somehow three times the size hard as it was soft, according to the sparse glimpses Gaz had snatched in the shower. Professional curiosity, you know. Ghost was completely unfazed, standing there with it all just hanging out. "Uh, sir, if you could..."
"What'd'ye want, Garrick?" Tav growled, pulling his hoodie over his lap to hide whatever gaping devastation the lieutenant had inflicted.
"Camelbak skin. Top shelf on the left."
Gaz heard a box grind over the metal shelf and the split of plastic sellotape. When the rustling stopped, he looked through his fingers again and saw Ghost holding the skin out for him to take. He hadn't even pulled his boxers up, his hard dick still on full display. Gaz sidled over, keeping his face turned away, and took the offered plastic parcel. "Cheers," he murmured awkwardly.
"Welcome," Ghost rumbled back, and if Gaz didn't know him better, he'd say the bastard was laughing at him. Seconds later, he hightailed it out of there as quickly as he could, pinching the bridge of his nose and hoping the image of all that pale skin thrusting away between Tav's hairy stalks wasn't going to haunt his fucking nightmares. Luckily, he had a fitness course to coordinate that afternoon, which would help take his mind off of it.
No such fucking luck, as it transpired.
As Bravo Company were taking a breather after making good time over the course, Gaz snuck off into the woodland for a quick slash before they moved on to first aid training. As he rounded an old oak tree, he caught the sound of hushed voices over the usual bird song and rustle of leaves. Little fuckers had snuck off for a smoke and thought he wouldn't notice.
He did up his fly, put on a stern face and readied his most blood-curdling shout as he stomped in their direction. The 'oi, ya little cunts' sat on the tip of his tongue as he burst through the bushes, only for it to dissolve into a high-pitched little 'ah!' when he came face to face with Rudy, slack-jawed and sweaty.
Colonel Vargas was two knuckles deep in him, Rudy's cock drooling over his superior's wrist, hips twitching. That was all Gaz managed to see before he swung himself round and covered his eyes for good measure. The low voice he had heard must have been some truly filthy Spanish, because Rudy looked about ready to blow.
"Hola, sergeant," Alejandro said calmly. "¿Qué tal? I thought you were not due in the woodlands until tomorrow."
"Uh, yeah, orienteering is... tomorrow, sorry, colonel, I thought you were trainees, I, uh..." Gaz glanced over his shoulder and saw that Alejandro had moved his body to shield Rudy from view. He whispered something softly in Spanish in his lover's ear, because Rudy was hurriedly yanking up his trousers, his belt rattling, looking panicked.
"It is I who must apologise, amigo. I cannot control myself with Rudy, and with all this nature around us, I let my heart lead my head," Alejandro said. "I would be... grateful if this indiscretion did not get to the captain."
"Uh, sure, mate, yeah. Mum's the word... I'm gonna... go this way. As you were, or... not." Gaz hotfooted it back through the bushes, his face on fire, and was relieved to find some troopers slacking off because he had someone to beast. Seriously, this day could fucking do one. It couldn't get any worse.
Famous. Last. Fucking. Words.
First aid training concluded in time for dinner and Gaz sent the troopers to mess. He didn't go himself because he wasn't sure he could look Tav or Ghost in the eye just yet. Instead, he headed to his bunk and snacked on some Pringles as he finished off a report on the week's progress for Price. And yeah, he left out the sheer volume of unnecessary cock he had seen that day.
Last thing on the day's list was to submit the report and he could turn in, hoping that tomorrow had less cock and arse on the agenda for him. He rapped twice on the captain's door and let himself in, missing the sudden scuffle of movement as the hinges creaked. "Hey, sir, got the summary ahead of sched-u-oh, Nik."
Nik was sitting in Price's chair bolt upright, his hands in his lap beneath the desk, shoulders squared. "Gaz, my brother," Nik greeted, but his voice sounded a little... tight. "Kak dyela?"
"Where's... the..." Gaz studied Nik a bit more carefully and began noting a few more oddities. His skin was flushed, eyes blown wide, usually slick hair all ruffled out of place, and he was shifting minutely in his chair, but keeping his feet very, very fucking still. "He's..." Gaz pinched the bridge of his nose, "he's under the desk, isn't he?" Because of course he fucking was.
Nik flashed a mischievous smirk.
Gaz sighed. "Jesus fucking Christ..."
Nik bit his lower lip and then opened his mouth to say something, but Price got there first, his voice low, rough and husky from his hiding place beneath his own desk. Probably from where he had just been gobbing off Nik's--no, no, for Gaz's own sanity he just couldn't finish that thought.
"Leave the report on the desk," Price growled.
"Yup, right, it's on the desk," Gaz replied, getting as close as he could to be able to chuck it on the keyboard without risking seeing Nik's cock next to his captain's face. "Have a, uh... a good..."
"Garrick," Price snapped.
"Right, yeah, going. Going."
Nik waved at him as he left but Gaz could do nothing more than cringe his way back into the corridor. Three for three. Fan-fucking-tastic.
There was no way he was getting any sleep after that. Gaz headed for the mess and a cup of tea. Maybe if he managed to dunk the biscuit properly, the day would stop fucking with him.
He was completely engaged in a thousand yard stare when Tav slid onto the bench opposite. Gaz gave him the side eye. "Surprised you can sit down."
Tav smirked. "Aye, s'taken some practice."
"Nope, no, no more. It's gonna take years of therapy, decades, to get over seeing that man's arse between your legs."
"Dunno what yer whinin' about, ah've got bruises from where the fecker dropped me."
Gaz snorted. "Good."
"Look, ah... ah came tae apologise. It weren't decent, an', uh..."
"Mate," Gaz sighed, slapping his hands on the table as he sat up. "The shit I've seen today, Ghost's pale arse ain't even the half of it." He scrubbed a hand over his jaw. "Do you fuck in there a lot?"
"Oh aye, and other places."
"Oh god..."
Gaz's eyes narrowed as Tav turned in his seat and extended a leg. That was an exit manoeuvre. Tav rolled his lips into his mouth, smirked, and then landed the killer blow. "Pretty sure we've done it in yer bunk."
"You cun--oi, c'mere you rat Scottish bastard!"
Tav fled cackling and Gaz followed with full intent to put a few more boot-shaped bruises on his arse. Perfect end to his no-good, terrible, very bad day.
