I haven't given Bubble girl much thought in some while but i thought about if she is in UA like she was originally intended to be she completely never interacted with Deku until after the Shie hassaikai arc/she met him after he started working with Nighteye, after that she approached him at school cause she thought it would be weird to search for his dorm, she doesn't even know his classroom number it's pretty weird to track down some guy you just met so she just waits to approach him or ask if anyone has seen a "plain" looking guy (everyone thinks Deku is plain looking in this world i hav no idea how but thats normal to them)

When she does find him he's absolutely surpised cause he didn't know Bubble girl even went to school from Deku's perspective he thought she was grown - using this as a play on how she's is portrayed an adult canonly because i like to portray things :) because this is the first time they meet outside of agency Bubble girl doesn't wanna take up a lot of his time however she wants to hang out if he's cool with that so this is either where she tells him her dorm number or he tells her he's from class 1-A which baffles her in the conversation he's in the literal best class but this also tells Deku she didn't do any research on him or look at his resume

So they talk for a while and hang out later after school, because your asking me about Mina, i don't think Deku would invite Bubble girl over to his dorm but i feel like Mina or Jirou (via Mina asking her to eavesdrop) would find out about Deku talking to an unknown girl and she would then wonder and wanna know who he was talking to

I feel like at this point the only reason Mina would have to even meet her is to get information because she likes to tease her friends about romance, i don't feel like Mina would go out of her way to meet with Bubble girl but now her interest is sort of peaked because theres a girl who goes to their school that also goes to the same agency as Deku and Mirio , she isn't super insane about meeting her but her interest in peaked.

Do i think they would get along? yeah likely, to answer your question i don't feel like Bubble girl would be someone Mina regularly associates with but they could be friends i could see it

BnHA Chapter 003: Superhero Academy Entrance Exam

Chapter 3 of my not-actually-live liveblog of Boku no Hero Academia! And I have to say, this one is my favorite chapter so far. We’ve got new characters, we’ve got weird video game point challenges, and we’ve got a new crowning moment of awesome for our protagonist! All this, and a guy with the power of jeans. What more could I ask for in life.

Notes: As of posting this I’ve read up through chapter 6 of the manga and watched episodes 1-5 of the anime. My comments (aside from ETAs), however, are from my initial readthrough of the chapter and are unedited. And despite residing here on tumblr where BnHA is a trending tag like every week, I somehow continue to remain almost totally unspoiled (boy that feels like I’m jinxing it).

Uraraka is generally a bubbly, empathetic girl with a positive outlook on life. She hides a lot of her more negative feelings from her friends to keep them from worrying.

Her reasoning for being a hero is to make a lot of money to make her parents lives better. She was used to growing up and telling them it was alright to take money out of her piggy bank or that she wasn't going to get a lot for holidays or that all of her clothes were hand me downs or second hand. Luxury is such an oddity to her that it's almost like being presented with an alien concept.

She's well aware of her flaws and is more interested in making herself more well rounded than emphasizing what she's already good at.

She has zero gravity powers and little kitten like finger pads! Touch is how she can activate her quirk, which can be used on practically anything and multiple things at once and can also 'release' things she's made float. She's also trained in hand to hand combat with Gunhead.

"Switch sides?" She asked, tipping her head. "I mean maybe if I had to pretend to be a bad guy to save my friends or something, but... I don't think that's something I could do. Even for a lot of money or good food." She admitted with a heavy sigh as if it was a hard decision for her. "Besides, if I'm a bad guy, how am I supposed to do better than my friends?" She asked, clenching both of her fists. "If I'm off planning world domination or whatever, how will I be able to compete with Deku and Iida- or one up Bakugou in something?! I'm not letting that go, he's gonna get it from me in something, just wait!" She declared. "So that's impossible! I can't do it- well... maybe if EVERYONE became bag guys- ooohh that would be like a drama though, wouldn't it?" She asked with a laugh. "A conspiracy! Mind control, maybe? Ahaha! It'd be funny to see Deku as a bad guy!" She admitted, holding her stomach. "Do you think he'd be a fan boy still? I feel like he'd be easy to save but the hardest to fight! She paused, painful memories of failure flashing through her features. "...The girl who lost to Bakugou, probably..." She admitted, head lowered and brow furrowed- she looked seconds from tears, but... "Aaaaugh!" She angrily yelled, holding up a fist. "Just wait! Next year that's going to be different!"

"Ahhh, that's such a hard question." She admitted with a soft drone, eyebrows pushed together. "In my class alone everyone has such cool powers... Ah, but people like Deku and Tokoyami have such serious draw backs in spite of being really cool... Ah- I guess Yaoyorozu has a really cool power I wouldn't mind having!" She decided, clapping her hands together. "Ah- but... she has to eat a lot more than normal people... I'm not sure if I could... afford that..." She admitted as she awkwardly glanced away, meaning affording in every sense of the word. "Todoroki's seems pretty well rounded and without a lot of draw backs!" She decided. "And it'd be a nice way to save money in the summers and winters! Yeah, yeah I think I'd want Todoroki's powers!" She decided excitedly at the prospect of not having a heat or electric bill because of his powers. She could cook without using the stove too! No chimney fires! A walking AC! There was a sparkle in her eyes that said the prospect excited her. Even better actually... "Hey, hey- do you think there's someone out there who has a quirk who can make gold or something?" She was practically drooling at the prospect.

Secret? What secre- She felt her face turn cherry red as she pressed her hands to her cheeks. She could practically hear the question echoing in the room 'Do~ You~ Like~ Him?' "Ah- um! Nothing! I don't have any secrets! If you don't do anything bad, you don't have to worry about keeping secrets, so, um... Next question!" Like him... no way, she didn't! Yeah, he was cool and kind and strong and... and really cute... but she didn't have time for that! She! Agh! No it wasn't a secret if it wasn't true, so there!

If there was one choice in your past you could change, what would it be?

She was quiet for a long moment, lost in thought. "...I don't... think I would do something like that, even if given the opportunity. I mean maybe for small things like not eating that three week old pizza or not buying this really itchy comforter, but... Nothing seriously major. I'm very happy with all of the decisions I've made because I've learned from them and am the person I am now because of any mistakes I've made along the way. I haven't really had any major life changing moments that I could have really done differently, anyway. I gave it my best, and I feel as though as long as that's what I did, nothing else matters so I'm happy with the results, even if they weren't that good." She admitted softly, quietly nibbling on her bottom lip afterwards.

If you had one day where you could do anything you want, free of consequences, what would you do?

"Anything?" She asks, her face turning cherry red. "Ah- um! Maybe just... hang out with some friends!" Right. Friends. They were friends, that was an acceptable answer. "At like a cafe or something- with like those sweets that look like bunnies or something." She fumbled. Bunnies. Midoriya's hero costume. Oh boy... "I-I mean it's kind of hard to get some time off without worrying about someone being in trouble some where or having that kind of anxiety on your shoulders. I know Deku and All Might do that a lot so, um... maybe... take him- THEM!" She quickly corrected. "And some other friends!" Right. Friends. Because she didn't have time to be worrying about dates. As a hero. As a student. As a friend... The last thing she needed to worry about was dating. Or rather not worry, maybe just... Oh jeeze, she felt kind of stupid... She was asked if she could do anything and the first thing that came to mind was go on a date that she poorly covered up... How... average... "I... I'm sorry, can I try to answer that again?" She requested awkwardly, head lowered as she clung to her skirt. "...I dunno, something about that answer feels kind of silly... you know?"
