#music wank#like john williams’s music at least isn’t copy&paste across franchises#Jurassic is Jurassic and Starwars is Starwars#but who’s the guy who did Alice and 00s Charlie&theChocolateFactory? yeah his music is monotonous too#super dissapointed with that Alice OST when I made the mistake of instantly buying iy#and to a degree I get it. nearly ANY composer regardless of era plops motifs they hyperfixate on#prolly why I find a crapton of ‘classical’ to still be incredibly boring (and overly mathmatical)#but...agh#aaaand I’ll shut up now#but yeah. if there’s ANY zimmer music that isn’t straightup C&P from Gladiator...it’s ‘cause someone else worked on it too#buuuut since they’re not As Big Named they don’t get credit (if interns) or Public Recognition (if composers in their own right)
