the fact that pat is always the first to start crying in any stressful situation really sticks out to me.

when gun was drunk and got sick in ep 8, pat was the first to cry and cling onto his friends, maybe because he was scared? when he was talking to por and telling him to go home in ep 11, he had to hold back his tears, he probably silently cried to himself after he left. when gun and win both left because they couldn’t bring themselves to play after losing, pat starts crying in the back and asks, “what’s wrong?” during their big fight, pat starts crying while trying to hold back sound and then gun. he looks so desperate as he holds back gun screaming at him to stop.

i’m a little saddened that people don’t pay much attention to pat, because he is such an amazing character. prom did an amazing job and i am really hoping he gets a main character role in a series, because he really deserves it.

i don’t know, i wanna look into pat’s character more and do a thorough analysis on him even though there’s not much to go by, but who knows if i’ll get to that. but pat is 100% my favorite character in the series. let me know what you think about him :)

A random thought: i think a huge part of why i loved and will always love this show was getting to experience it with my mutuals and friends on here. particularly you sufa! and petri @petrichoraline and mel @justafriend-ql and vi @isvisomewhere and so many others i met through this show! and of course @chinzhillababy who watched it live with me every week and even waited for me to catch up when i overslept the morning of the finale TT__TT

An unpopular opinion: i actually liked sound when he was still mean to everyone else LMAO also i'm not that upset that they didn't win hot wave oop

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): hmm not a specific character but i do wish they had written in more of the development of soundwin's relationship after ep 9 :(

Favourite Friendship: soundgun! i wrote a whole post about it.......

Character I most identify with: tinn my darling ... having a similar relationship with my parents / high expectations for myself, struggles with saying no to things, being an acts of service king, having nerdy hobbies and using them to be dramatic, etc etc

Character I wish I could be: honestly would love to just be a background student at their school and watch all of their shenanigans play out from afar and hold my obligatory LED sign at the hot wave performance

no bc i’m so upset that pat’s ending was sad. he just wanted to be loved, the feeling that everyone around you is finding love and you’re left behind. it leaves you thinking, “am i lovable? do i deserve love?” and at an age like that no less where teenage insecurities are at their height, i sympathize so much with pat. i get that it was probably for comedic effect, but it just makes me sad. and the fact that he started crying, CRYING, in front of everyone and no one did anything, not even por, hurts. HURTS.

if we ever get a s2, which is pretty doubtful, then omg i need pat to find somebody, preferably tiwpatpor, but mannnnn

markprom are the reason i started watching my school president 🫶🫶 and the fact that changmo AND tiwpat are coming home in ourskyy2 has me giggling and kicking my feet

so my school president ep 7 basically confirmed that tiwpor will be happening, and i’m really excited for it! however i can’t stop thinking about something,,

so yesterday this thought popped into my mind about pat. i’ve known about prom and mark since bad buddy and i hopelessly shipped chang and mo bc they looked so cute 😭 and the behind the scenes of ep 6 sparked my love for markprom again and made me really want pat and tiw to end up together (i had rooted for those two secretly since msp trailer but shh).

but then pat and por had so many cute scenes in episode 6 that my endless thoughts about those two ignited.

so i thought, why not all of them?

why not all three pairings? why not poly? i can’t stop thinking about tiwpatpor especially with the cute ramen shop scene, like the possibilities?? i just love pat sm and his two boyfriends who are endlessly in love and show that at any given moment. and it sucks that poly usually isn’t considered in series with love triangles, like why not all of them date? i wished gmmtv would explore this but it doesn’t seem likely :( unless they already have and i haven’t seen it
