#I’m taking a break to see how they dry before I keep going#pro tip for anyone considering it. don’t buy 100 year old furniture from a tired med student with 4 cats!! you might just regret it!!#but still. considering it is 100 years old it could be WAY worse#once I get the stains and smell out the only issue will be the fading#which. happens to velvet in sunlight#so considering it’s age it’s a miracle that particular issue isn’t Worse#and through the power of tide pods and baking soda I think I got Most the smell out?#idk I’m gonna steam it again then scrub it down again to ensure I got as much out as possible#and I found the little spoons I sold a couple days ago! which is v good cause I had NO IDEA where they were before#apparently! they had been grouped together with my aunts old jewelery for some reason??#eh it’s fine just gotta package them now XD
