“anytime when a young team comes into our gym and dose that it’s a disappointment and this game I am disappointed with the outcome of the game but I am so proud of this season with what we had and were we started and I think the coaching staff will agree it was a very emotional season for all of us and tonight is nothing more than more of that I want to thank my seniors Luke ,Albert ,and Zach thank you to you we love you so much I am proud each and every one of you guys in this room and that includes the best coaching staff in new York coaches “

“I don’t know where to begin I want to thank the seniors the coaching staff this year was a hard year this season was supposed to be like the 27 years coach gosz had and like last year make back to state and win we as a team hope and tried but didn’t get the result however I am not going to be negative this season was a learning process for me as I struggled from a 16-11 record to a 13-11 this year but I want to thank our seniors “

“no no no I am to tire for it, I was ready to take a break before this season started with everything that happen with Matthew and myself my marriage I know what it is I know what my image at the school is still good and my career is still great but it’s not me right now “

“maybe you’re lucky that is what it is ,maybe you have to have a break once in a while when you get here something that you have to make right for the school and your legacy at the school ,something that you are proud of ,when I was in high school we won two state titles at Buffalo Central I went 65-4 in my three years I think that I want it to be just like that at Rufus king but I don’t want to be like that team because I want to create my own legacy here at King , when I got to state last year I thought It was going to be like those years that gosz had and I was ready for that I never saw it coming but that is why I coach in march for games like this “
