Not that the gods becoming mortal isn't interesting and all, but what cycle does this end when other mortals could potentially ascend to their vacant spots within a century or 1000 years. maybe the current gods would hold that position in mortal form via the luxon but then what's stopping other people from, again, hunting them down and taking their position anyway. what's stopping people from making themselves new gods like vecna did? is imogen supposed to be the vessel forever to keep people in check? will the role be passed down then? how does that happen?
