I would like to argue against that, as in it wasn't without meaning, but I do see your point and I tip my hat to you
Kinda sad when you realise the first person D-16 killed wasn't sentinel it was his best friend.
#however#i will put the argument here#i dont want to create like discourse discourse#because i do see wht you mean OP but i just dont think its gully true?#to say any death is without meaning#i am at work and my memoy is a bit patchy but im pretty sure that scene with the bot that nearky captured them and D/Megatron brutaly beat#to death happened after they got their cogs#emotions are still high; they had to leave the kast alive prime to escape from sentinel who wishes (and nearly did) execute them#and this deathwatch bot#this sentinel golden bot#bot who d probbaly held in high esteem#part of a greater lie they all live under#this golden bot neary killed him and his friend#(s)#is the first outlet of his anger he is the first blood of many#it could be argued that it was done is self defense but was it really?#this is the death that started it all#the first act of vioelnce from many more to come#the nameless bot was the start of it and Orion death was the death that soldified his resolve

Maul x original female character
Fluff ahead! Title: Sickly encounter
A shiver manages to rise up her back, goosebumps now appearing down her arms as the formal meeting of counter attack is settling into place before the holoprojector. A few of the Deathwatch members join in to gather the newly information, which Maul explains very much in detail of the plan to take over Mandalore.
Just as Maul begins to finish up, a tickling sensation begins to fill her nose as she desperately tries to hold it in. Savage who now glances in her direction, raises a brow ridge in amusement before crossing his arms over his chest and a grin forming his lips. Rhea looks up at the yellow Zabrak with a glare before bringing her attention back with fighting the upcoming sneeze.
“Indeed, this might just work.” Vizsla remarked, setting his eyes before the Sith lord.
“Exactly,” Maul merely replied.
“A good plan.”
Achoo!
A eyes begins to cross over in her direction before a blush begins to form her cheeks. Even Maul seems to narrow his eyes slightly from the distraction, his brow ridge raising up in question before she excuses herself from the area.
“Please excuse me.”
Shivering more now, Rhea begins to make her way back to the tent as the nightly cool air begins to creep up her form, another sneeze escaping her lips as she makes her way back. Slowly but surely her vision around her begins to take a toll around her, suddenly very nauseous as she takes another step. Pausing to collect herself, she takes deep even breaths before another wave hits her core, sending her to her knees and collapsing to the ground beneath her.
Just mere seconds away from losing consciousness, a mighty figure peers before her in deepened panic before darkness begins to take her.
“I need a medic over here, now!” Savage barked out.
*
Soon enough, quieted voices begin to fill the silence in the air. With a weak groan, Rhea manages to crack her eyes open just enough to see her surroundings. Panting now, she looks around seeing that she is back within her tent. Neatly tucked in sheets covering her shivering body, her eyes catches a pair of two worried golden orbs, who now stand merely inches away from the bed that she now layed in.
“It appears she has the case of Influenza,” the medic bot replied. “Her bodily systems began to shut down not too long ago, given as to why her sudden collapse. But, I was able to give her some medicine, to help bring down the fever. She needs to rest and drink plenty of fluids.”
With that said the medical droid takes it leave, leaving the remaining three inside her tent.
“So she’s sick,” Savage scoffs. “Humans, such weak beings.”
“I can still hear you..” Rhea groans out, but quickly coughs from the process. Slowly raising herself up from beneath the covers, a hand manages to press back onto her shoulder, forcing her back down.
“Do not even think about getting up,” Maul firmly scolds, reaching beside her desk to retrieve the cup given to him earlier. Pressing the cup to her lips, Rhea looks up before Maul, who’s eyes begin to narrow slightly from viewing her blushed cheeks.
“Drink..”
Nodding she lets Maul tilt the cup just a bit as the cool water begins to fill her mouth, easing away the dryness down her throat as she swallows. Finishing the entire cup with a satisfied sigh, Rhea tucks herself back beneath the covers before softly raising her voice towards the Sith lord, who now places the cup back onto the desk beside her.
“Thank you, Maul.”
A small smile manages to form her lips as Maul stares before her, repeating the words within his mind at the given thanks.
“You are welcome.”
*
Small shivers begin to rouse her from her sleep, her body shaking from the cool air that surrounds her tent. With a tired groan she tucks herself more securely in the bed sheets, pulling the remaining silk up and over her form with a sigh. So far nothing is working, tossing and turning around there isn’t enough heat to warm her up. Rhea begins to grow agitated, by just laying in bed with no more sheets to cover her up.
A thought crosses her mind.
‘Maybe I could sneak into Maul’s tent. He has way more coverings than I do.’
Rising up from her bed and meeting the ground from her feet, she slowly begins to trail up and out to the tent, pausing before to take a quick peek outside, seeing if anyone notices. Surprisingly everyone seems to be within their own tents, only leaving the open fire pit just inches away from her tent. With the coast clear, she makes past her way towards her destination.
Paying attention in her line of direction, she finally pauses before Maul’s private tent, as he is further away from the others. Clearly from their point of view, they wanted to keep as much distance as possible from the Sith lord, knowing great powers he had within.
Hastily stepping inside, she seals the opening from behind her before turning her back and letting out a yelp.
“Mau!” Rhea exclaimed, pressing a hand towards her chest from the sudden scare. “Don’t do that! You scared me..”
Maul who merely steps out from the changing covers, now appears before her. A narrowed look in his eyes as he just finished removing his tunic from his body, which now reveals his tattooed patterned chest.
“I thought I told you to stay in bed, young one.” He hisses out, pinching the bridge of his nose before meeting her gaze once more.
“It’s too cold in my room,” she quickly replies as Maul begins to take a seat at the edge of his bedding. He raises his brow ridge from her reply, giving moments time to think before he answers.
“Very well. Come.”
He raises an open hand in invitation, and with a brightened smile she quickly removes her footwear before pacing towards the bed, swiftly taking a hold of his hand in her own before letting out a soft moan, his touch much warmer than her own.
“You’re so warm,” she purrs out, pressing his hand against her cheek before looking him in the eyes, noticing the way his eyes seems to lighten up in amusement.
“Two hearts,” Maul replied, pointing towards his chest before finishing. “Indeed our body temperatures are much more than humans. We are merely used to high temperatures of heat, and it does not affect our state.”
Rhea chuckles at that, now pulling him closer towards her, seeking warmth to stop her violent shakes throughout her body.
“So warm..” She coos out, before her eyes begin to slowly close, demanding more rest from her body and ease away the dull ache from her temple.
Seeing her state, Maul finally brings himself to close his arms around her shivering form, where she quickly wraps her arms around his chest and presses her cheek against his chest, listening in to the soft thumps of his heart beating within from his body.
Thump thump. Thump Thump. Thump Thump.
“My dear you are freezing .” Maul hissed out.
No reply.
Glancing down he notices that she’s already fallen asleep, now tucked neatly within his arms as she snuggles closer in his warmth. A deep sigh leaves his chest before he pulls the bed sheets up more, tucking the two of them beneath the covers before drawing her up closer now. Reaching up he begins to trail his fingers through her hair, smelling the sweet scent of her skin that fills his nose as he watches her.
‘Peaceful.’ He notes himself.
With a hum from the thought, he closes his eyes and follows her in a deep slumber.

Since Angilaka is there, out of curiousity, how would Host or Noria fit in? Since it’s a detective/noir theme, would any other characters be involved like Batman, the deathwatch and so on?
Host: She’s either part of the same broad paladin-esque organization Audrey is from, or a roaming heroine who gets called into the action after a suitably nasty moment where the Society’s cover is blown and people who disapprove of their actions get a chance to intervene. This might be a good chance to make use of her at her most powerful, combining both extremely potent magical knowledge in a body composed of thousands of individual robots, each one castng magic proficiently as a single unit. She would appear in this advanced nanobot body, as well as a small army of networked robots each suited to a specific purpose, and finally the cute green nanobot-slime body you like in particular! She would come and join the hero group to defend poor Tia and her family.
Noria: Perhaps she’s a partner of Audrey in this situation and she joins up as an investigator, to handle the stuff he can’t and encourage the old bot to relax a bit. His health ain’t looking too good and she worries about him!
some other OCs of interest:
Salmave: She serves the Society as someone they have need of; a powerful gadgeteer who can create the weapons they require, who is smart enough to understand the possibilitties of monster parts, interested enough to deal with the dangers, and disinterested enough in politics to not care about what the brass are doing with the stuff. She’s unethical and mostly in it because its her job, but she’s unaware of what they’re actually doing or that she’s giving them the weapons to deal with harmless beings. The question is, are her morals enough to overrule the potential their body parts have for her creations? Mad scientists suffer a compulsion, after all.
Brainlord: As mentioned before, and I’m willing to retool her, but in brief, she was the original leader of the Pequod Society back when its intended purpose was to contain monsters and extradimensional entities, ensure they were of no real threat, and understand them if possible, and destroy them if there was no alternative. She gave the initial okay on making use of the body parts of the ones they did kill, but she left out of disgust when the Society became something more selfish and concerned with its own power rather than a containment system. However, no one knows her present location, and Tiashar herself may be the very best breeding partner she’s ever want for the ultimate dream goal: the recreation of extinct life forms.
Rubicon: a REALLY old OC, back when i was first starting to write, and one that never actually made it into my fics at all. He’s a robot employed by the Society as a hunter, an often cruel and indifferent bastard of a bot who enjoys testing himself against these threats, and regards them as monsters to be slain, and nothing more. he’s not comfortable with Edhitha’s level of personal obsession, though, and he has no personal enmity with Tia.
----
Batman: This more low-key stuff is pretty much his main focus in Crossthicc! Batwoman handles the big stuff, while Bruce tends to more street crime things, and an out of control monster hunting society would definitely need to be curbed. He would probably function more as an element the Society desperately wants kept away, as while he is dangerous enough, he has friends like Kal-El who would pose a MASSIVE threat to their plans... among which, require that no one realize what they’re up to, the extent of their plans or the corruption in leadership.
Deathwatch: Technically, they would have a similar job to the Society. They’re an elite group from the Coalition from many of the Primarch worlds, banding together to face unique threats and hidden dangers no one else is equipped to handle, and noted to take on anyone from any faction if they can prove themselves worthy. They take pride in being apolitical and favor no faction when it comes to defense. They regard the Society as poor pretenders, however, and amateurs messing around with very dangerous stuff. They would be VERY alarmed at their use of consuming and empowering themselves with monster parts, as this is VERY dangerous to do. Possibly the Society’s biggest fear is bringing down the wrath of the Deathwatch, and Audrey’s plan? To convince the Deathwatch the Society must be curbed, no matter the cost.

LIFE ON THE MOON HC
Robert Grossman (A/CVR) Robert Grossman
From an artist who reveled in illustrating “the un-illustratable,” a historical graphic novel based on the “Great Moon Hoax,” the most successful newspaper hoax ever. In 1835, New York newspaper The Sun published a series of six articles declaring the discovery of life-and even civilization–on the Moon, which the paper attributed to the famous contemporary astronomer Sir John Herschel. According to The Sun, the lunar inhabitants included unicorns, bison, bipedal tail-less beavers, and intelligent humanoids with bat-like wings.
Life on the Moon is a full-length graphic novel capturing this mythical world. Creator Robert Grossman said the book is set in a time when “many of the signal achievements of the 19th Century still lay well in the future, Andrew Jackson was president, the steamboat was the summit of technology, and news traveled slowly.” The unfettered novel includes real historical figures such as P.T. Barnum, Jean Jacques Audubon, Lorenzo Da Ponte, Charles Goodyear, and Edgar Allan Poe.

Kill Team Campaign - Introductions to the teams
Elucidian Starstriders (played by @raddigested) Elucidian Starstriders are a rogue trader group comprised from all sorts of folks all over the Empire. That’s what the Starstriders’ commander Elucia Vhane had always prided herself with, surrounding herself with the best people she could, who also wanted the same as she. There was no glory to be found in this universe at war, but money, money was always to be made. Members: 1. Larsen van der Grauss (Comms) 2. Elucia Vhane (Commander, Strategist) 3. Voidsman Gunner (Heavy) 4. Voidsman (Demolitions) 5. Sanistasia Minst (Medic) 6. Voidsman (Veteran) 7. Aximillion 8. Voidsman 9. Knosso Prond (Combat) (miniature subject to change) 10. Voidsman Nitsch (Leader)
The Deathpack (played by @raddigested) The Deathpack consists of Space Wolves, who all have, at one point in their lives, served as part of Deathwatch. After returning to their home chapter, the members had been recruited to the Deathpack, Ragnar Blackmane’s Great Company’s special order of Deathwatch veterans. With special arms and ammunition, mementos from Deathwatch service, these men, led by Brother-Sergeant Rolf take on tasks few else would dare to take. Members: 1. Brother-Sergeant Rolf (Leader) 2. Brother Ivar 3. Brother Hjalmar 4. Brother Snorri (Comms) 5. Brother Uffe (Combat) 6. Brother Bear (Zealot)
Gellerpox Infected (played by @nemossubmarine) Once part of the Starstrider crew, these people working under deck became suddenly infected with chaos. Mutated beyond recognition, they are led by their commander, a former head engineer Leon Hartmann and his two assistants fused together, the creature known only as “Lämmin masu”. They are on a strange planet, and don’t recognize their former comrades anymore, but there’s a smell in the air; something familiar, something just like them that draws them near. Members: 1. Lämmin masu (Commander, Combat) 2. Tim Cook (Leader) 3. Huge Hefner (Zealot) 4. Ben Ten the Amazing Alien Man 5. Smoothie 6. Manbat, the Man who is a Bat 7. Merituuli 8. Luigi the Jumping Man 9. Twinsitters 10. The Fly Boys 11. Gummy (Demolitions) 12. Hörgi (Veteran)
Adeptus Mechanicus (played by @nemossubmarine) Kill Team XZ / 370 was a team made up of experimental Mechanicus, sporting add-ons no standard Mechanicus could claim to have. They were tasked with retrieval of lost relics, a task they performed outstandingly, until a mission to a far off planet ended with their mechanical parts to gain feelings and sensations they hadn’t had before. XZ / 370 was unsure what caused the change; was it radiation or something worse? Their leader, now known as Eden, ordered them to continue on their missions. Perhaps they could avoid having this change detected and flee to the vastness of space, before anyone noticed and wanted them fixed? Members: 1. TI-84 or Tora 2. P://1319 or Persilja 3. 8.4_KL or Bonnie (Zealot) 4. #583 or Vivek Baak (Sniper) 5. E-E \\ 821 or Eden (Leader) 6. 1146 x 784 or Iiris 7. 74_785 or Zeki Maris 8. IX c4I or Xia 9. Rn:d (5:1, 3):12 or Demir (Combat) 10. K303 2:82 or Melchor Mendoza or Kuru 11. AAA/9 or Agda Maris 12. Mk. III or Max
Setup:
This story starts with the Starstriders, rogue traders ready to take just about any job that would pay enough, led by the gorgeous Elucia Vhane receiving a rather lucrative offer. A kill team of Adeptus Mechanicus had apparently broken down. They had still continued on their mission to a distant moon of Plilia C-550 by the name of Iethea, and it was now crucial they would not complete this mission, or there would be no knowing who would be getting their hands on the precious artefacts they were hunting. An easy enough job, right? Elucia barely glanced at the missive before accepting; there was no way this would ever go bad.
It was Elucia’s communications officer, Larsen van der Grauss, an AdMech himself, who read through the missive. A name jumped out among the list of the broken down kill team’s members; K303 2:82, or as Larsen had once known him, Melchor Mendoza. Mendoza had never been a pleasant man, and there had always been something off about him. He had been a brutal, ruthless murderer. If there was even a slim chance the rest of the Mechanicus had became like him, Larsen wouldn’t want to face them alone. He brought this to Elucia’s attention, who rolled her eyes but took his advice to heart.
A kill team called the Deathpack made of Space Wolves who had returned from Deathwatch, was in the vicinity, so Elucia asked them to join in this mission. Perhaps the dirty work of actually dealing with the malfunctioning bots could be left for them, and Elucia could still get most of the reward, and the artefacts.
They hadn’t even gotten to Iethea before things started to go bad. It had started with strange noises at the engine rooms of the Starstriders’ ship. What emerged from the depths of the ships were no longer human, but infected mashes of metal and flesh, accompanied by chittering, maddening daemons of the Void. The Starstriders had to make a rather hasty landing.
Maybe this wasn’t going to be as easy as they thought. But there was no way the Gellerpox infestation on the ship and the broken Mechanicus could be related... Right?

We are back with more “The Inquisition finds Mata Nui”
Previous entry: https://www.tumblr.com/lordfrezon/694513720979783680/last-time-on-the-inquisition-goes-to-mata-nui
Alice and the goons (along with Helrynx, Botar, and probably Jerbraz) are in a meeting.
Alice explains that she’s an Inquisitor that was assigned to investigate Inquisitor Dominus’s blatant corruption and dealings with the Xenos.
Also has her own agenda, as a member of the Ordo Chronos, is interested in timey wimey stuff, which the Vahi qualifies.
Plans to bring the Vahi to the God Emperor and let him fix shit or speed up his body to get healed or something, it’ll probably be a good idea.
Now that she has it (or has Oswald the toa-bot, who has it), it’s time to go all in
She calls up her Deathwatch contact, they switch sides to her.
The Adeptus Mechanicus are in full schism so they’re out of the picture.
Only one to stand in her way is Dominus himself. Which is an issue.
So Alice wants the party to head up to the Constant Intercession, their big ass spaceship, and steal the ship’s Vortex Bomb, aka the “Exterminatus bomb” aka “the bye bye planet bomb”
Because it’d be bad if Dominus had that.
Slight issue: The Ad Mech, Deathwatch, and Inquisition agreed to a power sharing arrangement, where all three would be given a case that MIGHT have the bomb inside, but only one actually did.
So the party’s job is to go to the locations where each faction hid their maybe-bomb and check to see if it’s there and steal it for Alice if it is.
Helrynx thinks this is all a mess, but agrees that it might take precedence over getting the Staff of Artakha earlier, so sends the crew back up to space.
Also sends Jerbraz, because having an invisible dude might be a good idea.
The crew arrive back on the ship, learn the location where 2/3 of the factions hid their bomb
Dominus hid his in the kitchen
The Deathwatch hid theirs in a safe deposit box in the prison complex
No one knows where the Ad Mech hid theirs, probably nowhere good.
But, the crew has a mission and a location, time to hoof it.
To the kitchen!
The 4 of them (plus the two schrodinger’s team members) head to the kitchen
However, along the way, they run into a Sister of Battle
She, apparently having to fight various Mechanicus constructs every other hour, starts shooting at Emilia the Mechanicus and Oswald the Robot
Also at Treytor, because their skin is attached to their clothes, and that looks like a mutant trait
Fortunately, Treytor pokes her with the Knife of Saving Things for Later, saving the Sister for later
Continuing on, they run into a bunch of Ad Mech soldiers.
Emilia and Oswald hide, Treytor get’s confronted.
Thinking quickly, Treytor pokes themself with the Knife.
A very angry Sister of Battle pops into existence again, and sees an Ad Mech fire support team
A minor battle breaks out, the Knife is grabbed off the floor and Treytor is brought back.
To the kitchen!
Due to the slight civil war happening on the ship, the kitchen is closed.
Using their mastery of stealth and intrigue, the party sneakily hacks the security and deactivates any alarms, entering the kitchen unnoticed
Nah lmao Oswald revs up his chainsword and they cut their way in.
Inside the kitchen, they find an honest-to-God-Emperor Custodian (a 10-foot tall space marine with golden armor) eating beans.
He recognizes Emilia (she had seen him before) and they have a relatively pleasant conversation, all things considered
Jerbraz wanders off, to eat beans.
The party asks the Custodian if he has seen any vortex bomb shaped boxes, he pulls it out.
Unfortunately, the bomb is not inside.
They cautiously ask the Custodian if he wants to help them find the bomb, pointing out that if it goes off his hiding place is unlikely to be secure aboard the ship.
He agrees and they set off for the prison.
On the way there, they run into a group of heretic Mechanicus
(aside: the Mechanicus have been having an... interesting month. Since their leader is actually a Great Being and there’s several races of biomechanical beings on the planets and there’s also a bajillion foot tall robot underwater, there’s been some Mechanicus who think that Mata Nui might be their god, the Omnissiah. Which is encouraged by the Great Being, the Lord Dogma Magna Esse. About 2/3rds of the troops believe this and thus are technically heretics, while 1/3rd remain loyal to the God Emperor. Also the heretics are likely aligned with Dominus. It’s a fucking mess).
Anyway, Emilia recognizes their Tech Priest, she may have possibly maybe turned him to heresy to try and get better prices for her implants.
But he respects her position and they chat.
It’s rather tense since there’s a super heretical robot and a paranoid sociopathic yandere hiding in another room and Emilia doesn’t want them to be found.
But she manages to not insult the Tech Priest (and actually gets a bunch of praise from him and might be in line for a promotion in the Ad Mech structure) and he leaves.
Whereupon they arrive at the prison door, that says “If you’re more that 50% metal, fuck off”
And that’s where that session ends.
(Next recap coming soon, the session is done, but I got a new job and had to move so have been busy)

Warriors of Mandalore is a discord server mainly about Mandalorians! It has Unbelievaboat which includes Mandalorian market of starships and ground vehicles that you can buy and you can work for credits, it has tupoerbot which lets you create bots for roleplay, and also it has a general chat! Bur that’s not all! You can even create an existing Mandalorian character or your own Mandalorian character! The discord server is fun to join!
In a galaxy far, far, away…
The Clone Wars have been raging on, and Mandalore is splitting into factions. Darth Maul has taken over Mandalore with his loyal Deathwatch members. Those who remain loyal to the Mandalorian people oppose his rule, and civil war ensures. Darth maul is sent a droid army to aid his rule, and the rebellious members of Deathwatch formed the Mandalorian Resistance. The Republic sends in the clone army to aid in the fight for Mandalores future. With the chaffing amongst the warriors of Mandalore under a pacifist government, and then a hostile takeover, the death of Satine and the rise of Maul has resulted in splinter cell clans. Different clans start to take individual action. Some have been aiding the Republic all along, others joining in after the death of their leader.
The way of the Mandalorian Warrior has returned. The clans each have a different specialty on the battlefield and something unique to offer to their allies. The 2 sides are locked in combat all around the world...
Who will win?
