why icarus why is icarus your oc /genq im not trying to me mean lol

because i saw a trend within the prime souls in ultrakill that i thought i could make a good oc out of -- human figures in greek mythology ! both minos and sisyphus fit that bar obviously, so i went through all the more well-known humans in greek mythology thinking up how i could interpret them in fun ways in the context of ultrakill, and icarus was the one i ended up sticking with :]

#icarus prime #another point is that the two canon primes have 'twists' in their stories that seperate them from their original mythological counterparts #i.e minos being a benevolent ruler instead of a cruel one #and sisyphus using his punishment to his advantage rather than suffering for eternity #and this aspect specifically was what drew me to a hypothetical ultrakill icarus interperatation the most #in the sense of; what if he fell on his own volition? what if the melting of his wings was an intentional act rather than due to hubris?#it was just so interesting to me. so i fucked with it . and now we're here
