i need to reprogram my brain to stop recognising songs that became tiktok trends as “tiktok songs” and start thinking of them as “live action animation meme songs”. this would not achieve anything but it would be amusing

#anyway just heard a cool song in a tiktok and knew how to find it because it was very clearly a switching vocals nightcore #it’s bizarre to me how many tiktok trend songs are nightcore. like yeah people call them ‘sped up + pitched up remix <333’#but in my heart i know it to be nightcore through and through #(<- went thru a nightcore phase when they were younger)#anyway i have noticed some similarities between animation meme songs and tiktok trend songs #(<- also went through an animation meme phase when they were younger)#and think it’d be funny to start calling tiktoks live action animation memes #not even just the cosplay ones which are kinda meant to be live action animation memes i mean just in general #tiktok dance?? nah nah you must mean that new live action animation meme
