i’m so confused as to how everyone seemingly came to the collective consensus that the dream premiere was some huge pivotal moment/statement for taekook. i don’t rlly understand how them showing up to a movie premiere together is a huge deal? it’s not like they waltzed in holding hands or anything like that. it very well could have just been two close friends/bandmates going to a movie premiere together bc why not? if any two other members had gone to a movie premiere together it would be seen as completely platonic and normal so why is tkk going made out to be some crazy brave and “wow” moment for them? everyone knows they’re friends. is it just bc jk was shy? bc that’s pretty normal for him tbh especially given that it was his first public outing since being on hiatus for a long time and only doing weverse lives from his house/gym.

also everyone seems to have concluded that they were definitely intentionally wearing queer coded clothes when honestly their outfits were pretty normal. ppl just dug extensively into the background of every item they wore and found some far-off connection to queerness/tkk when rlly it’s so unlikely they planned each article of clothing out like that. bc for what? they’re not actually trying to come out so why would they plan queer coded outfits as some “secret sign” ? like ppl really think jungkook looked up the exact quotes of the print on his jacket and traced it back to being vaguely alluded to something queer? and then said to himself “yes this is what i’ll wear to show the world” ?? and ppl genuinely believe taehyung intentionally wore the brand juntae kim to symbolize the connection of their two names together…like rlly? it’s just a brand…we talk so much abt how shippers connecting clothes/accessories to prove a relationship is stupid yet we’re out here doing the same and making it one of our biggest moments?

Let me start by saying I also don't put much into the clothing. They may have been styled for it, they may have chosen themselves. Who knows? But I also wouldn't be surprised to find out it was deliberate. Tae is knowledgeable about queer culture, British music and art, etc. I don't think it's a reach to assume he knows who Morrissey or Oscar Wilde are. But ultimately no, I'm not factoring it into my thinking.

Aha! I had a feeling Mercury would be in Virgo!! 😄 Mercury is the planet of information, how we receive it (learning, thinking) and how we share it (communication, correspondence, travel.) So this would imply a methodical way of learning, a very analytical mind. Perhaps a very dedicated, practical, organized means of learning new subjects. Might be inclined to learn subjects one finds useful. Might be more of a hands on learner (earth, body, physical.) Very witty. Very detail-oriented. Very focused. An ability to pick up patterns, processes, and problem-solving. Direct in communicating. Decisive. Dry/sarcastic humor. Virgo really colors the way your mind works.

So let's start withhh...Libra, you gorgeous thing you. (Always gotta remind you how hot and badass you are!)

Also this is...Weirdly evenly split? I generally think of Virgo as being very Hufflepuff with Ravenclaw leanings, and Libra as Ravenclaw with Hufflepuff leanings.

Virgo is the mutable (changeable, adaptable) earth sign (stability, security.) Virgo is the Maiden, and is ruled by Mercury (information.) Virgo is service-oriented. Very perfectionistic, critical, capable, adaptable, meticulous, analytical, practical, and reliable. Earth is very based in the physical and material world. Very routine and organization. Very checklist. Very tidying, cleaning, straightening, correcting, etc. Earth's need is security, and for Virgo this shows in a need for things to be "right." If things are "right", they will be safe. If things are "right", they are good, and okay. It's this idea of control, in a sense. "If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself." A sense of being the one to make sure things are up to par. But Virgo is also adaptable. Virgo doesn't necessarily like change, but it is more than capable of handling it. Virgo rolls with the punches. They're smart. They're prepared. Anything you throw Virgo's way, Virgo is going to catch and perfect it.

A sense of harmony and balance that can be found in style and aesthetic, but also in their rapport with others, and a desire to have balance in all things. Within and without. Libra is the peacekeeper, the diplomat, the devil's advocate. Often known as indecisive, but only because it cares so much about knowing and understanding all sides.

So with both Virgo and Libra I get their Ravenclaw vibes from a less traditional sense. It's less knowledge for its own sake and own value, and more knowledge for purpose. For Virgo, the purpose of knowledge is for wellbeing, for resourcefulness, to make correct and perfect, to make neat and organized, to make safe. For Libra, knowledge is for the sake of harmony and justice. Libra is knowing for the sake of understanding and accepting others. And Libra gets the sense of wanting mental stimulation from others, but not necessarily in hard facts, but what is beautiful and brings a sense of harmony and beauty. What feels good.

So both are very Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw in their way. And the points sort of balance out. I will tentataively give the win to...

Initially, I took a look at what the Hermits say they are/what they look like on the server

So that's how Creeper Hybrid Doc, Attempted Flesh Construct Cleo, and Slime Hybrid Jevin immediately come to mind

Then I looked at popular headcanons in the fandom and went "Okay what does the fanbase like? What do I like that they like?"

Which is how we got people like Parrot/Watcher Grian, Vampire Mumbo, Werewolf Ren, Nature Spirit Gem, and Voidwalkers X & Ex

Then I went in farther and went "Okay what are the vibes that these guys personally give me?"

That's how I ended up with God of Inspiration Joe, Shadow Cryptid Etho, Demon Impulse (this was before there was that huge wave of fans making Impulse a Demon btw), and Siren Hypno.

Keralis has always vibed to me as a human but why have people insist on looking into his eyes all the time? What's so special about that? And I'm always weak for empathic bonds whether temporary or permanent. So that's how that happened.

TFC surprisingly gave me very little trouble when it came to figuring him out. I knew he was the oldest person on the Hermitcraft server and I had heard the now infamous "Philza made Minecraft" joke by this time. So I just patted TFC gently and said "This Minecraft Grandpa can hold so much love inside him!" and made him a God too lol

After that I sort of blended other people's takes with my own for everyone else.

Like I love how people make Tango have Nether Origins, but I see him being made a Blaze so much it's kinda boring to me. But a Magma Cube? Now that's cool!

Or like how after I read a series on AO3 called The Meteor Effect where a magic meteor causes the Hermits to physically change forms/give them powers, I ended up hooked on Phantom Hybrid Bdubs and Dragon Hybrid Wels. So I gave them my own little twists and boop! There ya go!

I had to do a bit of research but I pretty quickly found out ConVex/ConCorp, and all the related Vex shenanigans. But Scar and Cub don't look like Vex all the time, in fact they wear masks to show when they are Vex. So if they aren't Vex completely what are they? Well maybe they're Changelings, half-human and half-fae and they'll become full Vex when they permadie.

Sheep Hybrid Zed is a pretty popular headcanon, but I then went "Huh. What if that's just like... a suit that Zed wears?" And since Zed is one of the crazy redstone guys of the server, I figured making him a Gremlin that powers/controls a robot body would be fun!

Iskall & False were also mostly gathered from fanbase ideas that I then added my own spin on later. Like Iskall being a bit more cybernetic than the fandom usually makes him and False having the Blessing of the Blood God.

You did ask me before about how I came up with Cryptid Beef and here's a bit of extra knowledge to add to that.

So as previously explained, I had already had the idea of Beef eventually transforming into a Cryptid because of his physical changes in S8, but no thoughts on what the end result would look like beyond the Prawn from District 9 which was his original intent.

Then I saw the mantis that Doc made in s8 and my insect loving heart went 😍 AWOOOGAAAA! 😍 over it and I knew what I had to do.

I had to make Beef that Mantis.

But why would he change into a Mantis specifically? Well I already had it that being around Cryptids for too long kinda makes you a bit... not quite human yourself. So obviously Moon Big messed with him and triggered him to change into a Mantis. And that, in combination with me loving alliterative names, made them Moon Mantises.

And yeah that's sort of how my thought processes go

Saturn - Oh wow, that's pretty hard. At the moment I'm loving Weak and Powerless by A Perfect Circle, and This is the Time (Ballast) (Acoustic) by Nothing More.

Venus - yes, but my beliefs follow a mixture of religions; predominantly spiritualism and Christianity with further elements of Buddhism and paganism. For a quick example, I believe in heaven and hell (the latter not as it's often depicted), God, Jesus, but also reincarnation, karma and ghosts/spirits etc. I also believe that you choose your life path and that this is a test world. I'm open minded and so I go with what I feel on an instinctual level as opposed to following a rigid socially approved construct. As a general rule, I don't enjoy talking about religion with friends and family so do not often do so. Everyone deserves a right to privacy in their belief system, and sadly not everyone is accepting of others simply following their own paths and beliefs. It is nice to occasionally dip my toes into it though if I sense a fellow open mind. I am by no means an expert or particularly knowledgeable in any religion, and I don't go to church or read the bible. I just think as I think.

Milky Way - Would totally be Cadburys dream if they were still a thing 😍 wispa, twirl, milky way are all pretty great but I'm not a huge chocolate fan.

Neptune - Probably hard rock at the moment ~ Folk-rock and acoustic music too.

Mercury - History, particularly Medieval and Tudor 😊 really loved English and Music as well.
