i have an iwtv art idea….but i’m not sure about which character to choose and i would want a second opinion
#so the idea is basically a redraw of the painting of ivan the terrible and his son#with either louis and claudia or lestat and claudia#and rn i’m leaning more to lestat because the backstory of the piece aligns more with their relationship i feel#ivan the terrible murdered his son by stricking him in the head with his spear and immediately felt remorseful#and that kinda parallels lestat vouching for claudia to die#plus the similar visual of lestat crying into her yellow dress and ivan being at his sons side#BTW I HAVE NOT READ THE BOOKS THIS IS ALL BASED OFF OF ONE NICE PERSON EXPLAINING BOOK LORE TO ME#BUTTTTT i still kinda wanna consider louis since that painting just on a surface level is so stricking!!!! and so visceral!!!!#and they make me crazier than lestat and claudia!!!!! aahhhh!!!!!#but also keep in mind if i go with lestat and claudia i’m planning to change their (esp claudia’s) expressions to be more enraged and upset#ANYWAYS!!!!! what do u guys think#interview with the vampire#interview with the vampire 2022#iwtv#claudia iwtv#lestat de lioncourt#the vampire lestat#louis de pointe du lac#kaitlinshottakes
