There are beasts of some sort loose in my home.
#i love how you can see Baizhu in the reflection on the table. doxxing my build in my cat announcement#its been strange! the only cats i've ever had were my childhood cats and they grew up with me#so meeting and getting used to adult cats i've never met before has been interesting#one of them is so so easy so friendly loves being pet all over wants to be friends with EVERYONE. other cat included#the others a bit more cautious. hes not sure on us yet. hes a little nippy (hasn't bitten me yet but not for lack of trying)#he has sat on my lap a few times so hes warming up#he has NOT warmed up to the other cat yet which isn't ideal. we're working on it.#its hard not to be impatient because until they start getting along we need to keep one of them locked in a room away from the other#and they both meow so so pitifully the instant you detain them it makes me feel bad#its for their own good though. want to make sure we get this introduction right#anyway. tentative names are Christopher (tabby) and Haru (long fur) but we'll see if those stick#snow blogging
