I don't know if I was able to send my other question, ignore this, but what day was that? I was very surprised when Teo asked Elanor on a double date with Angel and Leon, omg, why? Wasn't he the one who wasn't interested in romantic relationships? That was very suspicious, and why the hell did she accept it, even though Teo was flirting with his sister in a straight face, leaving her as a second option? It was also very strange of him when we spoke on the phone and he even said that we didn't seem jealous, I obviously wanted answers, but he cut the call. I remembered an old post of yours, saying that Teo liked to make people he was interested in jealous, was that his purpose? I definitely don't know!!! And because Ren wanted Angel to agree to go on this date, wouldn't it be more advantageous for him if we rejected it? I don't understand anything anymore! This man is very strange to me, he's up to no good, it's bizarre how he managed to cut off all the people we chose to talk to at the end of the day, it seems kind of obvious that it was his doing. I think I ended up talking too much, I'm loving the progress of your game, I'm really looking forward to what's to come and please get rid of the mouse problem 😭

Why did Teo ask for a double date? You have to keep in mind that everything Teo does is for his own enjoyment. He likes to mess around and live a hedonistic lifestyle, and he thrives off of receiving attention from others. To him, this date is just a bit of harmless fun and a way to pass the time.

Why did Teo flirt with Elanor specifically? She was the only one who responded positively to his flirtations — and seemed genuinely interested in him.

Why did Teo want Angel to be jealous? Again, he's just trying to "mess" with people and have a bit of fun. There's also a small sliver of him wanting some sort of reaction out of Angel — since most of the time — they're pretty dismissive of him.

Why did Ren want Angel to go on the double date? Two reasons! The first is that the 14DWY storyline is (ultimately) very linear and the only way to progress is by following along with the main plot. Secondly, I wanted to showcase Ren's... "abilities" a bit more; by subtly hinting that he's able to manipulate the game — and to give a bit more "Dead End" lore!

It definitely would be more advantageous for Ren if you declined the double date, but then there wouldn't be much of a story afterwards ^^; Angel would go home, and Day 4 would just be them hanging out in their apartment while Ren watches from the cameras. Not much fun to write or read about hghdsjgjs

Or are they like maybe in the process of being made, or they've been conceptualised at the very least? When are they gonna get revealed on Patreon??? They're not made or conceptualized right now, aha. It's a mystery even to me exactly what they'll look like in Step 4. When that art is done, it'll be posted on the Patreon first. Then it'll showed publicly later on.

I imagine that won't be worked on until 2025, though. There's no need for that art right now, programming-wise, and it's better to think about it for as long as possible.

"What moment in Supa Strikas & Rookie Season made you fangirl the hardest?"

OH GOD! WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN TO EXPLAIN MYSELF FOR THIS FRANCHISE?? BECAUSE THERE SO MANY- (So I hope me having multiple answers is fine-)

(Tad bit' Spoilers for Rookie Season in some of the Questions- Nothing grand or anything for the plot, just things mention in Rookie Season)

Well, for starters, one of the things that make FANGIRL, REAL HARD is just seeing the Supa Strikas boys, or any of the Super League team players having tender moments, like just hanging out or having a bro moment together. Multiple times in show makes me 'heart warmed' by just seeing Supa Strikas just being there for each other.

Like, in "Own Ghoul S3E3", where Big Bo was bothered by his past and terrified to tell the guys what went down between him and Spike Dawson, but Dancing Rasta and the others ensured him they're be there for him. Or something like in "Man in the Iron Tank Mask S5E2", where Klaus was insecure being in the roll of a Supa Strikas player, that he thinks he needs to become a Superhero to prove himself to be someone. And the guys were REALLY SUPPORTIVE in that moment! Dancing Rasta saying Klaus is always a hero every time he plays soccer with them, and North making a point that Iron Tank is TERRIFIED of Klaus' skills, that they need to think of a plan to stop him. (When I watched this episode, I was REALLY WORRIED how will it end, because Klaus mostly is the center of the joke in most episodes and I was scared the others might blame his ego or self-doubt for his actions, which Klaus is the episode CLEARLY needs some words of affirmation and support from the guys. I'm glad they Validated him in the end! :D ) And in "The Perfect Match S7E8" when Shakes got dogpiled from the guys and Dancing Rasta says "Teammates are closest of all!". Like, THAT'S CUTE! YOU CAN'T TELL ME THAT DOESN'T MAKE YOU AT LEAST SMILE!!! Sure, the guys sometimes bicker and fight, I'm not denying that, but when they do have a moment, IT'S THE SWEETEST THING!! I SQUEALED INTERNALLY AT THEM BEING BROS!!

There's not alot of 'Bro Moments' when it comes to the other teams (Is mostly either Technicalli or Iron Tank, although Iron Tank's 'Bro Moments' are mostly insulting each other-) But when it happens, it makes me happy. :) Like, pick ANY Technicalli episode around 'Season 3' to 'Rookie Season', there's chances of the guys are supporting each other, despite Toni Vern's treatment towards them. There's also this really short moment in "Dooma's Day S3E13" I really like, where Skarra scored for the team and Automatic, Dingaan and Dooma was celebrating with him. And you can clearly see Skarra wasn't sure how to feel at the moment, by he gives in and joins with them. I know it's short and in the end of the episode, there's havoc ensuing. But when I rewatched the episode, that's the few moments I saw from Skarra actually seems like he feels loved and fits in (without being a 'Bad Boy'). Especially knowing more of the context from 'Rookie Season', he probably never had something endearment in a long time since 'Rookie Season'... It's not much, but I take moments like these to HEART! ✨💜💛💜💛💜💛💜✨

Other than that, I get REALLY excited when there's little scene where you can miss them if you weren't paying close enough intention. And sometimes it cause me to speculate VERY DAMN SCENE IN THE SHOW- (But it's fun! Never regret this mind of mine~)

Like... DID YOU KNOW, in "How To Get a Header, In the Super League S3E8", there's a brief moment where North Shaw has a Barka FC jersey WITH HIM???? When I first notice that back in 2021, I thought to myself:

"BRO, WHO GAVE YOU THAT JERSEY?! WHICH BARKA FC PLAYER GIVE YOU THAT??!! I NEED TO KNOW!"

Like I was feuding with that particular scene in general- 😭😭

Or that short scene in "Broken Record S6E7" where LIQUIDO IS SHAKING SHAKES' HAND???? LIQUIDO IS SHOWING GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP?!?!?! I JUST KNEW THIS LIKE 2 WEEKS AGO?!?!?!?!!?

And this little scene in "Live and Kicking S4E3" where you can briefly see 'Rock Rockin' Howar' (not sure how to spell his name-) the Motivational Trainer back in "Dribbler on the Roof S3E10" where he works for Sheik. Now he's working FOR MS. ALTIVO??!!??!! I guess he's meant to work with powerful people-

Speaking of Speculating, I've been analyzing non-stop with this show- I love just thinking of ideas that would fit into the context it was given to the audience and I just analyze it, piece by piece, like not a sane person-

Like in "Hypno-Test S2E10", where Rasta claims him and 'Old Chuck T. Chipperson go WAY back!' And I NEVER BROUGHT UP AGAIN??!??! So, were they teammates before they join the Super League?? Were they Colleagues??? (YOU CAN'T PUT THAT IN THERE AND NOT TELL US, WRITERS!!! 😭) I've been fixated by that piece of dialogue for AWHILE-

Also, in "Score To Settle RS E6" where it shows Thor being all emotional, singing about his feelings and got angry when he caught off side- So, it's canon then? Thor has been struggling with, not only his anger issues, but also his masculinity. I've always thought that Thor is the softest one out of the buff guys, and was struggling with his gentler side because of the hyper-masculinity environment in Iron Tank. (Hope in the future, if there will be more seasons being made, I like to see Thor embracing his soft side, like the CHAD HE IS! >:D )

And in "Total Replay S5E12" where when Shakes (and then Supa Strikas as a team) was playing against Legendary Football Players in the simulation, every football team (even Colossus FC) have a player to represent them... EXCEPT FOR 'INVINCIBLE UNTED'.

Huh, I WONDER 'WHY'???~

(OKAY, THIS IS THE LAST ONE, AND I'M DONE RAMBLING-) Other things that make me Fangirl HARDDDD, is Dingaan. Short answer-

LONG ANSWER is that I just LOVE THIS MAN WITH ALL MY HEART!!! When I came back to the fandom this May this year, I really thought Klaus would be my favorite (HE STILL IS, JUST NEXT TO DINGAAN-). But, MAN! That guy grab my attention. I've always have a soft spot for him back in 2021, BUT I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT CAME OVER ME TO HAVE SUCH A FIXIATION OVER HIM NOW-

Maybe is the silliness he brings when he shows up on screen? Maybe is because deep down his a 'Heart of Gold' Guy, who so happens to be in a very antagonistic team.

Or maybe I relate to him in a personal level, where he shows signs of neurodivergence and people around him would take advantage of that and his kindness. And when they're finished with him, they will think he's stupid for following their plans and use his loyalty to gain more benefits for themselves. And will underestimate him because of his "stupidity", when actuality he's more capable than people would realize. And also gets ridiculed for being himself and his interests because they think is "stupid" or "silly". And deep down he is actual a sweet guy and wouldn't hurt a fly, but unfortunately under circumstances, he could only obey under the abusive hierarchy in the system he is in. And the only thing he can show to people is his 'Aggressiveness", that is also been taught to him, under that hierarchy, and is semi-rewards him if he follows it accordingly, next to 'Doing your job Right'. But they won't award his achievements, because the system is meant to make you inferior than the HigherUps. And Dingaan is trap, probably not knowing, he himself is not going to be seen as equal to them because of his status and neurodivergence, and will punish him if he slips once. And when he shows him being himself, he will get punish, because being his neurodivergent self is not the standard in the system and they will "correct" him, like they want him to be.

.... No idea why I like him so much, but HE'S MY BEAUTIFUL BOY, AND I WOULD PROTECT AND DEFEND HIM IN MY HONOUR! (I will one day make a Analysis Post dedicated to Dingaan. YOU'LL SEE!!)

I know I don't talk about him much here, and only show drawings of him here, like 3 times. But behind the scenes, he's the few things when it comes to Supa Strikas is on my mind. And I've grown appreciation for Dingaan as days goes by. He's on my mind SO MUCH, I rewatch episodes of Supa Strikas he's BARELY IN- (NO, LITERALLY!! I rewatched "On Klaus Inspection S6E8" so many times, JUST TO SEE DINGAAN AT THE END- AND IT'S A KLAUS FOCUS EPISODE😭😭😭) (I still see the episode for Klaus, but is MOSTLY for Dingaan- 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️)

AAAAA NO WORRIES THIS IS LITERALLY ME WHEN PPL ASK ME QUESTIONS ABOUT MY BRAIN BLORBOS;

1) yes, yes he does

2) He’s pretty used to it! both sides of his family are pretty different from him, the Cuddles’ being almost completely inorganic & his family in Japan being yokai. He doesn’t really feel it actively so much as it’s led him to think of himself as, *waving hands around face* different. For a few reasons, but it’s no more of an issue for him round the turtles than it usually is :D

3) He’s lucky enough to not have had serious injuries, his organs are pretty well protected by flexible metal! The most danger he’s been in is when he had to run away from a family gathering blind into a forest. (When he cries, water can get too deep in his eyes, & since they’re cameras they short out and go offline.)

But basically, it’s really hard to kill or injure him cause he’s kinda like if an octopus had metal protecting its organs lmao

4) He is absolutely not, since he can stitch limbs back on & sew himself up like nothing, Miyamoto has to constantly remind him to be more careful haha. (Since he’d be a yokai in Rise, his ghost lives in the Ki-stone; the Usagi family uses it as an artifact similar to the scrolls Splinter shredded in S1)

He has a few nicknames but they aren’t really used regularly; Jersey Jack, Raggedy Ichi, Cottontail, Skewer-Me-Elmo, mostly one liners like those haha. but Miyamoto calls him Ume-chan (lil plum) pretty regularly hahaha

& unfortunately yes, he is quite familiar with mrs cuddles ( ´△｀)

5) Yeah! Draxum’s seen him around cause he hangs out with his kids, Big Mama hasn’t really taken much notice cause he hasn’t done anything yet, & hueso knows him as “the guy who always orders motor oil to go with his breadsticks.” ksjfjaksjskjs

6) When they met, Raph was scared shitless for a solid few seconds, Don was like “hahaha you terrify my brother haha, who are you.”

Mikey, same as Cassandra & Magicsaurus, chilled out quickly & was excited to meet a new person & have a fun time with a new friend.

Leo was like “lmao, you from Jersey?” & Yuichi said “Yeah lmao,” & Leo was like “no wayyyy, surely you are evil and crazy/hj” and he proceeded to be completely biased towards Yuichi’s “jerseylike behavior.” (Yuichi in reality was just reminding Leo of all the things he dislikes about himself cause they’re so similar. Once he realizes this, their rivalry becomes a lot more jokey like Teru and Mob from mp100 & they grow closer)

Splinter did not really mind his presence either way, just some kid, friend of his kids, in his house.

Yuichi reacted in a very boisterous & unserious way in response to their interest & hesitation. & when he found out they were attacked by his aunt he was very apologetic haha, he got them a fruit basket that said “Sorry my estranged aunt attacked your home, the rest of my family dislikes her too, have some fruit, so sorry.”

7) After Leo & Yuichi grow close, Leo begins to see him as a person he wants to stay close to. He thinks he’s impulsive, arrogant, but he also sees how he affects others and how they feel very easily. And he can talk a LOT. Note how in the show, Leo goes silent when he runs out of ideas, he’s incredibly stressed, & his family isn’t taking notice of him. As opposed to his family who he always feels the need to talk around to “cope,” Yuichi is the guy he trusts enough to let the mask slip and go quiet when he runs out of mana.

Chapter 8: An Angel's Head Table of Contents | Profile

Word Count: 2128 A/N: aaaaa take it. we're getting more miledy backstory in the next chapter, cheers!

Feeling a gentle hand sweep through my face, I open my eyes and see Al. I wiped my own tears away and sat up.

“Couldn’t sleep well?” he asked somberly.

“Yeah, just- it’s just a few months until her birthday is all. I just miss her so much,” I answered hugging myself trying to shake my anxiety.

He sighs, probably feeling the same way. Al left us before Abby could even reach her 4th birthday. He adored Abigail, in some way she had her grandmother’s face that made him attached to her even more. So, leaving without seeing Abby through adulthood has been rough on him. Though I’ve him told stories about our lives, how Abby missed him and often quoted his sayings from his recorded shows that she begged me to give her when she found it in her father’s old studio when we were cleaning it out. It warmed his heart that he was still an important part of her life despite being gone, clearly pleased that he didn’t end up like his own dad that he grown to despise.

“I know, but since we haven’t found her here. She must be off up there, somewhere better… safer…” he mutters almost regretfully.

I tried to smile and held his hand in assurance, “Yeah, I hope you’re right.”

He raises his lips to a smile and says, “Well then! How about some breakfast to lighten up the mood?” and guides me to the table in the woods in our room placing a dish for me and a deer carcass on his side. I roll my eyes playfully at him and said, “I’m not standing next to you if you don’t take a mint after.”

“Of course, of course. I won’t forget.”

While we enjoyed our meal together, the door bursts open to reveal Vaggie and a bunch of Eggbois.

“Alastor!”

His eyes shifted from her to me and his meal before replying, “Do you mind? I’m in the middle of breakfast.”

“Good morning to you too, Vaggie,” I greet before eating a mouthful of the meal that Alastor prepared for me.

“Hi,” she responds dryly, “Pentious' eggs are all over the place, and I need you to get rid of them.”

He throws away his utensils and summons his microphone before responding, “Oh, well, in that case, I'd be delighted to!”

“Humanely!”

“Hmm. Well, that's a lot less fun,” he remarks turning his head from Vaggie and on to me revealing his glowing red eyes and the x-mark on his forehead, “but I suppose I can take care of that on my outing today.”

“Great!” she looks at our table and sees the dead deer and comments, “That looks disgusting.”

“Dear, can you wait after breakfast?” I sighed, while Vaggie saw herself out.

“Alright, I can wait,” he smiled smiling at me and sitting in front of me again.

“Hello, little men. How are you all doing today?”

“Hi, pretty fish lady! We’re well, though we got kicked out by the owners, now we’re going wherever you go!”

I laugh at them petting their heads, “I see. Now be good eggbois and follow Alastor and I closely. We don’t want you ending up cracked.”

They saluted at us rather clumsily making it endearing for me to look at, they remind me so much of how the children in the orphanage played pretend.

As we enter Pentagram City, the little Eggbois kept pestering Alastor with questions making me cover my giggles under my hand as I watched his eye twitch in annoyance from their never-ending questions.

“This seems rather familiar. Remember when Abby reached the age where she would question us about everything?” I started with a smile, trying to calm him down.

He huffs out a laugh and nods, then shakes his head, “She was so talkative, it seemed like she would never lose her voice.”

“She’s a lot like you in that way,” I grin bumping my hips at him.

We get caught off-guard when Zestial comes before us, I guess we were so engrossed in our conversation that we missed this mighty being’s arrival.

“Hark, Alastor, M’lady. How fare thee this day?”

He places a peck on my hand in greeting while Alastor makes a little static sound.

“Who's that, boss? Want me to rough him up for you?”

“Follow in silence if you value your shell!” he replies tapping their heads and then turns back, “Greetings, Zestial!”

“Ah, the weather, doth become this fine day.”

 “Indeed, looks like we might have some acid rain this afternoon!”

Not a moment later, a demon overhearing their conversation lights themselves on fire and runs away screaming, my eyes following his figure before our party continues with our walk. I let the two gentlemen talk with themselves—listening in to their conversation.

“If our luck doth hold! I do revel in the screams. How art thou? It has been an age since thou hath graced us thy presence. Some hath spun wild tales of you falling to... holy arms.”

As he says this, my eyes couldn’t help but widen at the implication. This wasn’t just about him helping Charlie, who by proxy is Lucifer’s daughter—an angel. Does he mean that he made a deal with someone from heaven. With a confused look, I turn my eyes on Alastor who looks around somewhat nervously.

“Oh, I just took a well-earned sabbatical, nothing serious,” he adjusts his bowtie in the mirror as he answers, “Though it's fun to keep everyone on their toes!”

“There too hath been rumor of thy involvement with the princess and her recent flight of fancy. Tell me,” he stops walking and opens his coat briefly, making me somewhat embarrassed for looking directly at him, “how does thou fall in such folly?

“That is for me to know. But please, do guess, I'd love to know the theories!” Alastor answers holding his cane in one hand and the other on my waist pulling us forward.

“T'would be grander folly by far to assume the workings of your mind, Alastor. Thou hath been naught but an enigma since thy manifested in this realm!” Zestial comments.

“Coming from someone as ancient as you, I take that as quite the compliment!” Alastor ‘smiles’ as we arrive at the entrance to Carmilla’s building. While we got on the elevator, the little Eggbois closely followed only to be stopped by Alastor.

“No, no. I have a very important task for you. Stay here and guard the front until I return,” Alastor commands making them salute. I raise my eyebrow counting only four of them. I find the other one near the door, which I pushed behind me with my foot signaling him to stay quiet.

We entered the venue, quietly greeting Rosie then sitting between her and Alastor.

“Welcome, Hell sovereign overlords. I've invited you all here because you represent the controlling powers of our city. Together, you own millions of souls. Souls at risk with the new Extermination schedule. We need to discuss what can be done to minimize the impact to our interest.”

“Zestial, so good to see you, my friend,” she greets when he sits near her.

He summons a teacup and saucer and replies, “Enchanted as always, Carmilla.”

She finally notices my husband and calls him, “Alastor?”

He replies smugly, “Yes, I know I've been absent some time. I'm sure you've all been wondering!”

“...Not really. But welcome back in any case,” she replies dismissing him which he narrows his eyes in offence to.

“This year's Extermination was brutal, far more even than years past. We have assessed that about 16% of the population was lost With the angelic legions now returning twice as quickly, I think it prudent we—"

She gets cut off when Velvette enters the room on the phone with presumably one of the other Vees, side-eyeing her for her impertinence.

“Yes, I've got it handled, Vox. Are you doubting me? Really? Me? That's what I thought. Haha! Yes, I know. They're all a joke. Thank you, V. See you soon. Kisses, darling.���

“Nice of you to join us, Velvette. Will your... colleagues be joining?” Carmilla asks despite being rudely cut off by the brat.

“No, they have better shit to do than to listen to an old windbag who thinks she's tough shit. I'm here to represent.”

“Charming. So, as I was saying, we need to discuss—"

She again interrupts Carmilla by waving her hand to get her attention.

“Yes?”

“On the subject of discussion,” she starts before taking out an Exorcist’s head throwing it onto the table lolling side to side as it rests in front of us.

“Holy shit!”

“Oh! Tasty...”

Narrowing her eyes, Carmilla asks, “Where did you get this?”

“We found it during Extermination Day. If these Holy Rollers can be killed, the game has changed. We can take the fight to them. The boys and I have come up with a full assault plan—"

Velvette stops talking as she and the other overlords look at Zestial, who is sipping his tea loudly and aggressively to drown out Velvette.

“If it be true thee and thy colleagues desire to war with such meagre proof, thou art far more... foolish than I be thought,” he laughs.

Velvette scoffs and crosses her arms, “Meagre proof? It's a dead fucking Exorcist. I'd say that's pretty fucking definitive. You going blind, old man?”

“We know not how this perished. Mayhaps t'was not by a demon's hand at all. If we rush to war without knowing mightn't, they purge all of Hell for daring an uprising?”

The other overlords mutter in agreement. Velvette notices Carmilla's expression and smiles.

“Oh, I get it. So, Grandpa is too pussy to fight, so I guess there's no point, right?” she says getting on Zestial’s face, “Oh, what's the matter, Fossil? Too senile to make a real power grab for—"

I lost myself with Carmilla and Velvette’s little duet. They’re completely different styles but they blended well together which I appreciated a lot. Despite Velvette being a little brat coming here, I can’t help but enjoy her singing. I got startled when Carmilla announces that the meeting was over. We didn’t even properly start it when Velvette came in and suggested picking a fight with heaven.

Alastor and I walk out of the room eyes never leaving Carmilla. She seemed so defeated.

“Hmm. Well, that's interesting,” he then points at the remaining Eggboi with his cane, “You, little egg creature. I have a job for you.”

“Oh. Yes, boss!”

“Follow them!”

He then salutes and scuttles over inside the room.

I looked at it worriedly, “Will he be alright?”

“Darling. It’s a little egg thing. No need to get so attached,” he titters holding my waist and takes us to the elevator.

“But it’s so cute!” I pouted.

“Alright, we’ll ask Pentious if he can lend you one of them when he can,” he compromises making me beam at him. “Only if, he can tell us something valuable.”

“Deal!” I reply excitedly then giving him a kiss on the cheek are we got off the elevator and waited for the little egg to report to us.

He bounded happily and stops in front of us.

“So, what did you hear?” 

“First, the old guy w-was all, "Y-you're not yourself. You're the one who killed the angel," a-a-and, she was all, "♪ Whatever it takes ♪"” he reports clumsily making me smile a how adorable it was.

“And then what was the last thing?" Alastor asks getting annoyed by how jumbled up his sentences were.

“She killed the angel?”

Alastor hums finding this information important, “Interesting. Let’s keep this between us. Shall we?”

“You got it, boss!”

My eyes still wide about the information, “She killed exorcists? How? I mean the evidence was staring at us dead in the face, quite literality but, this changes everything.”

“Indeed. We should keep this to ourselves for now, this could help us someday,” he answers mysteriously.

He’s been doing that more often now with me after those years that he stayed gone. Oh Al, what happened.

We arrive at the hotel seeing them get together so happily bantering with one another.

Vaggie says from the balcony, “Alastor. failed to get rid of the eggs, I see.”

“Yes, well, the little monsters prove to be rather useful,” Alastor replies eyes glowing with excitement.

“Why don't you give them back to Pentious,” she says smiling.

“Really? Sir Pentious asks teary-eyed.

“Yeah. After today, I guess I can trust you with them. But seriously, no more weapons,” she announces putting her foot down.

“Why don’t we go to our room ourselves, dear?” Alastor suggests escorting back us to our room.

Hi, hi! Im glad that you felt safe enough to come to this blog to ask this question, and I hope that I manage to answer it properly.

First of, I'm proud of you for coming to me and asking this, and I'm proud of you for considering the idea of joining! I know I was so anxious the first time I joined something like this.

If it helps calm your nerves, this fandom is a bit small in my opinion. While it's not impossible, miscommunication that seems to happen in bigger fandoms is less likely to happen here.

If you happen to do something wrong, the most that'll happen is that someone will try to inform you privately, through private messages or through anonymous asks.

And the thing about secret-santa events, and this is just something I noticed, is that people are just happy to get anything, especially in a fandom so niche. Especially with gifts of people's MCs, people are appreciative of every single crumb they get!

But even if they didn't like your gift, it's still unlikely for them to lash out and be mad at you for it. If your gift isn't up to their preferences, you tried your best to create a gift based on what they said, so be proud of yourself anyways!

I used to not join these types of events. I was anxious, and honestly, I thought my art wasn't worth it.

Then I realized events like these were unlikely to come by. So I just reassured myself, and joined despite being anxious. My experiences with events weren't perfect, but what I remember the most is the enjoyment of creation!

What helped me was realizing that honestly, events like secret santa exchanges were rare, and if I wanted to join, the best time was to join now. The memories that'd stick with me wasn't the ones where I was anxiously waiting for people's responses, but the fun of drawing.

if anyone is confused they all work for the same merc company im just stuck on what the company name should be 😭 (im thinking of naming it something really simple and on the nose like “merc folks” or something. i might name it something different tho. idk) also another note: sometimes eddie tags along on missions as well!! not all the time but he’ll go when he’s needed :^)

ive been planning like. a comic thing with them. and for said comic thing i designed 3 side characters and a planet for it to take place on!!

(lmk if u guys have a fav out of these 3 btw!! my personal fav to design was spoog. they were all fun to draw overall tho. also that fish in the second pic was super fun to paint!!)

for those interested: the basic story of the comic would be like. so that ham guy (pictured and labeled above) hires viv and scorch’s merc company (eddie would also be here in this hypothetical comic) for like 900K pixels because he goes to this mostly-water-planet to catch a highly sought after and rare fish, but it’s recommended that to catch it you have at least like. 5 people at the BARE minimum, and he only has two other people already. (i also had the idea of shrike and beebs being there too?? sorta like. you hired two merc companies?? is that allowed??? or something. but they still do it bc a) ham goes like “well the more the merrier!” or something because to catch this fish? it really is, and b) its for 900K for both companies. how? the fish would end up being around 2.7 million so it just gets split up among the 3 parties involved 👍)

As mentioned before, Yaki is an open-minded individual; he'll always make sure to get a good picture of the person before coming to the conclusion that they don't deserve his kindness, etc.. plus he has a lot of patience!

At first, I think Yaki would be flattered but also highly hesitant about the question; after all, this is their first times encounter, and he doesn't trust u that much.

What is the story about? And The role of the characters?

I’m putting a cut here because i yapped a LOT and I’m too AAAAA to look at it again because I’m self conscious about it lmao (you can tell i don’t write much)

(This is very much a rough draft of it) but basically it’s about how one of the main characters, Sebastian, is trying to distance himself from the organization he works for because he’s trying to get away from it/ tear it down in a way. But because the organization has files on every person they’ve interviewed, had an employee of, or just person in the general area - they kinda of have an idea of what Sebastian is doing, therefore making them attempt to track him down and either kill him or just . Something?? I’m not entirely sure yet

But since the organization is kind of unknown to most of the area their in (not that the city they’re in is secluded, but more so the organization itself is pretty much hidden in plain sight if you aren’t looking for it), its one of Sebastian’s roles/ jobs to make sure that his full identity/ occupation is unknown, in case he comes across someone who works there aswell

So, while he is out he meets Micah, who’s pretty much just an ordinary guy at the start, going to his small apartment downtown from the main parts of the city/town after picking up his medication. The bus is empty except for him and Sebastian - Micah’s very cautious at first, kind of finding Seb weird for sitting next to him even though they were the only two there.

Sebastian only explains what he’s doing almost a week after they started talking to one another and Micah hesitantly agrees to help him (which makes their relationship kind of a slow burn almost romance? Kind of??)

They then stumble upon Sebastian’s former coworker, Jonah, who was visiting the town/ city since he doesn’t live anywhere near there anymore after quitting his position at the organization (he was the one who went through files and kept them in order, which is what piqued his interest for having his own library in a different town in a different country (the library is also his home so his whole occupation currently is a librarian))

The two speak to Jonah, who says he will attempt to help them. So he goes to the organization, and the people there talk to him, however they do not record the conversation/ interview due to Jonah’s request.

And he comes back a while later with information and then that’s the spot I’ve ended at because that’s as far as I’ve gotten :D but i wanna add some horror/ freaky elements to it yknow bc i know it’s not the best but i don’t write / make fully fleshed out stories often ;>;

So yeah, that basically explains the storyline in a way, and there’s going to be many other characters that make their way into the story !!:>

And fun fact the place Jonah currently lives in is connected to a different story with other characters in a world i made with one of my friends

I plan to do voice claims for the three characters sometime too!!! But that’s a small project for later shgdjshs

I apologize for yapping so much i know it’s probably a bit scattered 🥲

Charlie's nightmare in the last part was so intense, I cant wait to see the moment it sinks in for the poor guy that he's finally safe. Tikki has been so kind and understanding to him despite going through a lot herself and just aaaaa my heart ;u; Sorry to be a bother, I've just really been enjoying it so far. I rarely ever leave Ao3 for reading, but Charlie reminds me of a comfort character of mine so I'm glad I gave the story a chance! Now I want to see them heal from their respective traumas together!

Omigosh anon pls you are not a bother, you have no idea how happy it makes me to see someone enjoying our story!! Especially when its ocs, it kind of feels like posting into the void sometimes. TwT; That's part of why I make illustrations for it, in hopes I can catch a few eyes. (The other part is that I wanna make em because these characters are fun to draw XD and there's some future parts of the story in particular that I REALLY wanna draw)

But to answer your question, Mystic and I have a lot more written, and I plan to post more chapters soon, once I can get illustrations made! This month has just been A Lot since i'm trying to work on art fight revenges (i have a handful sketched but still need to ink and color), finish the monthly secret drawing for my patreon, and was out of town for my dad's funeral for part of it. Not to mention I've still been searching and applying for work, oof... I've been a bit scrambled to say the least .w.

once you were done filling out your form, you scrolled on your phone while waiting for your turn with the artist.

by the time jenn showed up to the shop, it was time for you and sage to get your piercings. while jenn filled out her own form.

you chose to get them before the tattoos since it’s going to be quicker and less painful.

sage decided to get a smiley piercing and you chose snake bites. you just know felix and the guys are gonna flip when you see them.

the piercer was nice and talked with you while doing the jewelry to make you less nervous, which worked.

jenn had it the easiest out of the three of you. with her only getting her ears pierced and she settled on a dainty designed tattoo that had stars and hearts splayed in her shoulder.

you on the other hand, chose a more risqué tattoo that could be hidden easier, on your lower back. it was a heart with flames. sage ended up getting one on her wrist. a few little doodles of stars and a cat.

after you were all done, the three of you took pictures of your new designs and jewelry and paid at the counter. you thanked the workers and on your way out.

it was 5pm and the drive to the boy’s apartment was a 30 minute drive and the three of you were anticipating the surprise reveal.

“hey, what if right when we pull up, we post the pics on twitter and then just go in the house.” sage laughs

“that could be fun, but what if one of them has notifications for us on? that’ll ruin the surprise!” jenn whined 

“if anyone does, it’s probably lix.” you continue her thought

“or chan for you.”

you raise an eyebrow at jenn, “why would he have my notifs on?”

“well you are besties after all.” she shrugs 

she could be right. but at the same time you just let the thought sink in. what if he does have notifications for you?

First to find out: the player character, while travelling w Arven for the titan quest!! Though if you wanna get technical about it, the professors Do Also Know. It's probably a lot of connecting two and two. Arven stopped showing up to school around about the same time as rumours started spreading of a monster in mesagoza. He's been camping in the paldean wilderness to try and draw less attention to himself. In an rp w a pal, we had the player character discover his empty tent in the middle of the night, only for arven to return in the early morning, looking dishevelled.

His pokemon know, but for the most part he keeps them in their pokeballs. Rascal (mabosstiff) has known ever since arven was a kid, and was a main protective force throughout his life. He would be there to protect and calm him when he transformed. When Rascal got sick, that was the first time arven discovered he'd gone on a "rampage", and the rumours started spreading. I don't think he initially knows it was Rascal who was keeping him from running wild.

Pokemon hybrids aren't common in this au but arven definitely isn't alone!! And not all of it comes from the same source. In Arven's case, he initially believed it to be caused by terastal energy exposure from a young age, but later he finds out about a paradox lycanroc who was summoned through the time machine and attacked him as a child. Its bites had the ability to curse humans. This lycanroc was mentioned in the scar/vio book and is the source of the term "lycanthropy" in this au!! Other causes can be things like divine intervention (Arceus pointed at someone and decided they were gonna be part pokemon), genetics, various environmental factors, basically using the logic of "humans are adjacent to pokemon and sometimes the wires get crossed". Another hybrid in this au is Hassel, who (and this hc was also provided by a friend) is part dragonite, as part of his noble lineage that is mentioned in the game. At some point in the au arven is able to confide in hassel about his situation, so at least he has one supportive adult in his life.
