"but adam is traumatized </33" AND SO AM I AFTER SUFFERING THROUGH THIS MAN'S INDECISION FOR THREE CONSECUTIVE BOOKS. he's a grown ass man with the emotional stability of a middle school student. learn to communicate and set/respect some goddamn boundaries. let the DETECTIVE set some boundaries. if adam needs space then TAKE YOUR SPACE. the route should've been adam learning how to be friends with the detective first before any romance happens because this pacing is, much like the rest of book 3, absolutely incoherent. how is he simultaneously confessing his love and trying to understand what these mysterious feelings are. what the fuck is happening here.

the A route is supposed to be "slowburn" and what i'm getting instead is a frozen microwave meal that's just sitting there because adam can't decide whether or not to actually fucking heat it up. HIT START OR PUT IT BACK IN THE FREEZER BUT MAKE A DAMN CHOICE AND STICK TO IT.
