the copies of Unmasking Autism got delivered a week ago to every member of my immediate family, the "aha!" moments regarding other close family members have already begun

#unmasking autism #devon price #autistic #my dad is 50 pages in and already is like wait my mom was definitely autistic and/or adhd #it's way too soon for the inward reflections to result in anything anyone feels comfortable articulating but that may yet come #I specifically refuse to armchair diagnose anyone but I'll make suggestions of things to read/informal tests to take #and there are certainly networks of murmured speculation within my family #if you know the vibe of when someone is likely queer but not out yet and your fam/friend group is supportive but don't want to force it #it's kind of like that in my family atm but in all directions #nd
