Honestly, collecting pokemon cards but only the amigurumi ones and the grubbin/charjabug/vikavolt ones is actually really satisfying. Because you can usually find them even as holos for under $2 with shipping and they come out with new ones just often enough that you can be like "oh neat there are 3 I'm interested in in the latest deck they put out; can't wait for them to be available in the states in English" and you can just have predictable treats for the future.

Like, rip to the people who like the eevee cards or other overpriced ones but grubbin is different. Genuinely nice to specifically love the cards that the people trying to resell have more of than they can get rid of. Hope they never do a crocheted one of like pikachu or something and then it would cost way too much I'd refuse to complete my collection on principle etc.
