Just went to SUCH a good concert my god but like all their energy came from performing and being onstage and idk if the recordings would be as good
#like they won grammys#but it was for their concerto album#bc theyre a cross of folk americana and classical#they did a song they had of an emily dickenson poem and i was thinking about gender so you know it was a good song#and then they did hallelujah by leonard cohen right after which was crazy bc i was thinking about jow leonard cohen would set poems to music#during the emily dickenson one#and the there was a sick as hell transition slash bass solo to transition from hallelujah to an original#and the bas player quoted bach cello sonata 1 prelude#it was so FUCKING GOOD#i grabbed a setlist
