Other times, they get straight to the point and just answer, without the occurrence ever happening. If the first thing happened 100% of the time, no one would ever get anything done. It’s funny, but sometimes you gotta keep things simple.

“Well what do we do now? You guys tied.” Everyone sat in silence for a minute thinking on what other game to play. We have already challenged eachother to Wizards Chess many times. We really cant play Quidditch with two people. James then got up in excitement and went in the other room for a moment. “I swear we are not playing spin the bottle!” James yells from the other room. As he came back into the room, holding what looked like a silver briefcase. I get slightly nervous when James has some unknown object in his hand. He leads us to a round table in another room. “We ladies and gentlemen, are going to play some poker.” He opened the briefcase and took out chips. “Does everyone know how to play?” Everyone nodded in agreement. James decided he would be the dealer then we will take turns after that. 

“Wait, so we have no money, how is this fun to play?” Peter asked, 

“Sirius dont you dare say it!” Alice said 

“Then we play strip poker.” Sirius smirked. Alice, Lilly and Peter’s mouths dropped. I mean i was totally ok with this because i would love to see Remus with no clothes on. After they closed their mouths they surprisingly all agreed to play, “So heres how it works if you lose you have to remove one item of clothing. Lets say someone ties they both win, does everyone understand?” Everyone nodded in agreement. What they dont know is that im actually pretty good at poker. “Oh i also forgot, if you fold at any time you dont have to remove a piece of clothing.” James dealt out the cards and the first round of many began. There was a Queen of Hearts in my hand as well as a 8 of hearts. Not to horrible but wasnt feeling confident. Everyone stayed including myself. James dealt out the first 3 cards. 2 of hearts, 10 of clubs, and 7 of hearts. James looked intrigued so he stayed so did Sirius, Remus and myself. Everyone else folded, James dealt the next card on the river it was a 3 of hearts. I sighed because i wanted them to see i was frustrated which i wasnt. Everyone else stayed no one has even raised yet. James put down the last card, it was a 6 of spades. 

“I’ll check” Remus said 

“I raise to two pieces of clothing.” Sirius smirks. Remus sighs and James starts to tap his fingers on the table. 

“Alright, i see your two pieces of clothing.” James decided. 

“I am actually going to raise to 3 pairs of clothing,” Alice and Lilly lean in. Everyone matches the bet. “Remus you first.”

“Pair of 10′s.” Remus blushes. Sirius laughs and shows his cards.

“ Straight, 2,3,4,5,6.” Remus puts his head on the table in defeat, Peter starts laughing. The girls just are looking intrigued because we can see Remus with three less pieces of clothing. “Ok James your turn.” James hesitantly places is cards down.

“Two pair, 3′s and 7′s.” Sirius clapped thinking he is still the winner, (Y/N) what do you have?” 

“Start stripping boys, Flush!” All the girls cheered. All three of the guys heads were on the table in defeat. The three boys took off their socks and then their shirt.  Alice and Lilly cant help but giggle. I try not to stare at how hot Remus looks without a shirt on. A couple of rounds later this is where we all stood. Remus, Sirius, James and Lilly all had shirts and socks off. I only had my socks off and well Alice and Peter just kept folding. With no surprise Peter, Alice and  also James actually folds for the first time and everyone else checks. I deal out the first 3 cards. Queen of Clubs, Jack of clubs, and a 4 of diamonds. Holy shit, if i get a ten i will have a straight, but if its a 10 of clubs it will be a Royal Flush. Its not rare but not really gonna happen. Everyone still checks as we go to our next card, a 7 of spades. Everyone still checks, i really thought someone would have folded by now at least. We start glaring at eachother, there is one asshole here that probably has absolutely nothing and i think its Lilly. I deal out the last card and its a 10 of clubs! Holy shit i have a Royal Flush. “Im gonna go all in!” i said. Everyone gasped then looked back at their cards seeing if it was really worth it. I know i have the best hand here. Everyone else matches all in. I think they may just want this game to end already. “Ok, we start with Lilly.”

“Pair of twos.” Everyone laughs because you should rarely go all in on a pair of twos. I think she also wanted this game just to be over. 

“Ok Sirius your turn.”

“Ace high card,” Peter almost falls of his chair he was laughing so hard. “Come on i thought u had nothing.” 

“Ok next is Remus.” Remus smirks and looks down at his cards, I try not to laugh because i know i beat him already. 

“I have a Flush.” Sirius slams his head on the table and Lilly sighs. They know they already lost. Everyone then looks at me. I get really excited because i won. 

“Royal Flush.” Everyone's mouths drop as i smile. Remus just stares at me. I finally beat him. Remus just stays in his boxers. “Good game everyone!”

“You said you sucked at poker!” Remus joked. 

“Well Moony i lied.” Everyone laughed at him as i left the room for a minute. I couldnt believe i actually beat Remus at something. I actually left the room because i couldnt stand seeing Remus just in his boxers. He was so hot in just his boxers. I have had a major crush on him for the longest time. A/n: Y'all it took me a hot minute to finish writing this and it kinda sucks, but here I am, publishing it anyways

It's been over a week since you've seen him.

You've been so busy with trying to unpack and get acquainted with living in the new house. You wanted to talk to him, sure, but you were scared, what were you gonna say? You couldn't just go up to his house and knock on his door. So maybe you just had to wait for the right moment.

You had your first day of school a few days ago, it wasn't terrible, but it's highschool so you can't expect it to be amazing. The teachers were decent and the clubs seemed pretty fun, you might go to a few but minus that, the kids seemed like assholes. You had no friends at the new school yet and you didn't plan on making any. No one seemed to want to talk to you and you were completely fine with that. But this meant that sadly, you had to eat lunch in the bathroom, it really wasn't that bad though. It meant you had some time to think about everything and it gave you time to do homework.

You were sitting in the stall eating the last of your chips when the bell rang, you shoved everything into your backpack quickly and began walking to your class in the chaotic sea of people walking in the hallway. You head to your locker to pick up your Biology textbook and thats when you feel a set of eyes on you. You shove the textbook into your backpack and turn around to find the eyes that are staring at you. The eyes were dark, like they could stare into your soul from across the busy hallway. Yoongi, you knew those eyes. You could stare at them all day but before you could head over to him, he simply gave you a small grin and with that, he disappeared into the dense crowd. You frown and scold yourself for not going over and talking to him sooner but with that you head off to your bio class.

Once the bell rings, you race off into the sea of people in the hallway that just want to go home. You don't waste time to stop by your locker, you just want to go home and sleep. You finally make it outside of the school and thus begins your slow walk home. You've only taken a few steps when you hear someone calling your name, you turn around and you feel the person bump into you, making you drop your phone to the ground. "What the hell??" You stumble backwards and wipe your hands on your shirt and you can hear the person who collided with you apologizing profusely. When you look back up you see that it's Yoongi and he is holding your phone out to you, "Yoongi!" You hate that you just blurted that out, it made you sound too excited, considering that he just made you drop your phone. He chuckles and once you grab your phone from his hand, he rubs the back of his neck awkwardly, "well hey atleast the phones not broken" you let out a small laugh and smile up at him after you examined your phone for any scratches, "So did you need something or..." You both continue to look at eachother before he breaks the silence, "Oh! Yeah I was wondering if...if maybe...I could walk you home?" He looks down at the ground nervously rubbing his hands together, and you're glad he is because you don't want him to see how your eyes lit up, "Sure, I'd like that, it would make up for knocking my phone out of my hands" you smirk at him and he lets out a soft laugh.

You two begin walking when you both hear someone shouting Yoongi's name, when you turn around you see a girl walking over towards him, she's gorgeous, she's extremely pretty from head to toe. You've seen her around school but you don't know her name, but you know enough about her to know that everyone loves her. She strides towards Yoongi and when she's standing in front of him she sticks out her bottom lip and does a pout, you hate it, "Yoonggiiii,  where are you going? I thought we had plans today?" She gets closer to play with the bottom of his jacket.

"Right...I uh...look, I'm busy right now, just let me walk y/n home and then I'm yours for the rest of the day okay?" He sighs and gives you an 'I'm sorry' look. She pouts even more and her eyes make their way over to you and you swear she gives you a death stare that could rip you to pieces but you try to remain calm and you glance at Yoongi, "Sure, I guess you can walk her home but just be ready for tonight" she gives him a quick peck on the cheek and she walks off, when she walks off he lets out a big sigh almost as if he's been holding his breath. He doesn't say anything and just starts walking off and you have to speed walk to catch up to him.

You two both continue walking side by side in an awkward silence, "so what was that all about?" you wanted to break the silence but you thought it was a stupid idea to bring it up again, but that's exactly what you did. He gives you a quick glance as you both continue walking, "well she more or less just said we were hanging out today and then she walked away before I could have time to say no, so here I am" he sighs and he has a defeated look on his face. You feel bad for him, how couldn't you feel bad for him? You try to lighten the mood and you playfully bump into his shoulder, "Well let's look on the bright side, atleast you don't have to see her right now, you're with me!" He has a big smile on his face now and he chuckles, "Yeah you're right, but I really don't know that much about you...how about we play a game" The playful glint returns to his eyes and he's smiling, "hmmm, sure whats the game?" He pretends to think really hard for a moment until he opens his mouth to speak, "Well it's sorta like 20 questions, we can ask eachother whatever we want, unless the question makes you uncomfortable of course" you think about it for a second then you nod your head, his smile grows wider, "Alright I'll go first, hmm, why did you move here?" You laugh, "Really? Why did I move here? I thought these were gonna be juicy" He grins, "Well this is just a warm up question" he stops walking and you turn around to see him smirking at you, "we're just getting started here" you can't help but blush, he looks too handsome with that smirk on his face, you look at the ground and continue walking, clearly flustered by what just happened. You hear Yoongi chuckle behind you and he catches up to you, you both continue to ask eachother questions for the rest of the walk.

Talking to Yoongi is amazing, it puts your mind at ease. You almost forget how beautiful the scenery is around the two of you. You guys walked home the long way so you could talk longer. You are walking down a dirt path thats right in the middle of a forrested area. The rocks are overgrown with moss and theres a small creek flows by the two of you and it goes into a pond that is inside the park not far from here. The sky is grey and is swarming with clouds but the sun still shines through and theres a small gust of wind blowing through, making the leaves blow onto the path and fly through the air. Its a shame that you're almost home though, you don't want this moment to end.

"I can't believe you haven't seen that! It's one of the best movies ever!" Your laughs fill the cold air, "Well it's not my fault that no one ever wants to watch scary movies!" He chuckles and you two both walk up the stone steps that lead to your front door, "Alright well then I'm gonna sit you down one day and make you watch it, you have to watch The Shining!"

"Sounds like a plan to me, how about we do it this Wednesday? You can bring the movie over to my house and we'll watch it, just you and me"

You're staring up at him now with your mouth agape with wide eyes, you know you look stupid but you cant help it. He wants to hang out with you. You give him a hopeful smile, "Really? You want to hang out...with me?" He stares at you and his eyes get smaller because of the big smile plastered on his face and he chuckles, "Of course I wanna hang out with you, this walk was pretty good, it makes having to hang out with Taeyeon after this alittle more bearable"

His expression softens a bit and there's a look in his eyes that you can't read. You two share a look and you stay like that for what seems like forever. The buzz of a phone breaks the silence between the two of you. Yoongi takes his phone out of the pocket of his jacket and when he sees who the notification is from you hear him curse under his breath and sighs. He types out a quick message and with that he puts the phone back into his pocket and he grins at you one more time, "Duty calls, it's time for me to await whatever torture Taeyeon has planned for today" you laugh softly but a part of you hurts, a part of you wants to reach out for him and keep him all for yourself, but you keep your nonchalant posture, "Alright drama queen it can't be that bad, go have fun" you playfully hit him and he chuckles as he begins walking away, "Stop by my house at 4 for the movie, and don't trip on your way there this time!" You can hear the teasing tone in his voice by the end of his sentence and you roll your eyes and try to hold back the smile forming on your face, "It was a one time thing! Let it go!" And with that you turn around and unlock the door to your house.

The first thing you do when you step into your room is find The Shining and place the Dvd on your nightstand. As the sun begins to slowly set, the sky becomes shades of orange and pink. You do your homework while the sky goes from light to dark and before you know it, stars begin popping up throughout the sky. It's taking you so long to do your homework because your mind can't help but wander off, Yoongi is the one thought that's been crowding your mind. You can't wait for Wednesday to roll by, you're honestly just happy that you can call atleast one person your friend in this town so far

like, imagine eddie working in a 24/7 convinience store during the night shift (like,,, 11pm-4am) and richie is a regular that just comes in the weirdest hours and buys the most bizarre combo of items and is always trying to flirt w eddie making puns with whatever items hes buying and eddie lowkey likes it (cue stan rolling his eyes)

lmaooo yes yes yes!!

eddie fucking HATES it

but he’s a destitute student (arent we all ha ha ha… send me money) so its not like he really has a choice ya know

he only really likes one of his co-workers (martha) and hates everyone else

but at least theres… something interesting about his job…

richie tozier is 18 and he lives by himself at a condo downtown and his life was pretty fucking boring taking he’d just moved into derry and he knew literally NO ONE other than the cool chick who lives in the same block of flats and richie saw her wearing a the smiths shirt so they became friends 

but then one night,, richie was about to go for a smoke when he realized he’s all out 

also he was kind of in the mood for chicken nuggets

and now that we’re at it how great would a bottle of soda be with that

he remembers seeing a convenience store near his house so he gets up from his couch and glances at the clock ,,, 2am its not that bad yet

so he gets out of the house and walks over to the store

he swings the door open and glances around. the lamps create a rather ugly yellow shade inside,, an old backstreet boys song is playing from the stereos and richie snorts

he doesnt see anyone behind the counter so he just goes straight to the fridge to grab some nuggets,, waddles over to the soda section and grabs a huge bottle of coke

and then he walks out from behind one isle and sees the prettiest?? boy?? ever??

richie drops the coke bottle and it starts to gush out 

the boy behind the counter snaps his head towards richie the SECOND

richie does nothing

“HEY? EXCUSE ME???”

tozier just gapes at him

“ARE YOU GONNA PICK THAT UP??”

“holy shit” richie literally just blurts out 

“??????” this guy is looking at richie like what the fUCK??

then richie flinches back to the moment

“shit,,, i mean,,, yes,, fuck,” richie starts to reach out for the bottle and eddie is like WHAT is this dude seriously gonna grab the-

the soda is still spilling out and some of it shoots straight against richie’s glasses 

“FUCK” he yelps out and drops the bottle, some MORE of it just filling the floor

“oh my gOd just leave it,,, pay for the rest,” eddie sighs knowing he’s gonna have to clean it up

“i am so,,,so sorry” richie blurts out as he rubs his glasses against his shirt and walks towards the counter

eddie looks at him clearer now that he doesnt have the ridiculously big glasses covering half of his face,,, and he swallows because wow?? he’s actually really cute?? 

“yeah its… whatever” eddie murmurs, licking his lips nervously

“so you’ll take that only?” eddie asks, nodding towards the chicken nugget pack

“and a green marlboro”

eddie fights the urge to roll his eyes. he doesnt get smokers

but instead he just hands him the pack 

“that’ll be 6.50″

“here,, and again i am terribly sorry about…”

they both glance behind richie where the coke is only now starting to die out

“yeah.” eddie just says

a few days later,,, richie’s at the skate park with his only friend in town 

“can i tell you something.” richie asks as they’re chilling on top of their skates

“sure” beverly says,, takin a drag out of her cig

“i saw someone”

beverly starts to smirk wide at him 

“oh yeah??? whats she look like i might know her”

richie glances away

“uh.. not a she, actually. a he”

“i go both ways” richie shrugs as beverly’s silently asking if he’s..? not that she’d judge him but out of curiosity

“okay well, whats HE look like”

“he works at the convenience store” richie says and the second he does beverly bursts out laughing

richie’s like ???what???

“oh my god, EDDIE KASPBRAK???”

“you know him???”

“ohh boy eddie kaspbrak is the princess of this town there’s no way in hell you’re gonna get with him”

richie’s heart sinks a little 

“but hey!! theres plenty of pretty boys in this town”

richie doesnt care he wants that one

eddie’s lowkey thought of the weird guy who spilled coke all over the carpet also 

one night richie’s about to make food but realizes he’s out of french fries. and he wants to eat chicken with french fries. he cant possibly eat it with rice that he has,, he just has to eat it with french fries oh well haha what a great thing he lives next to a convenience store!!

so he goes there,, and ,, its faith its destiny or at least thats what tozier thinks eddie is working 

eddie’s stomach flips

mostly because he’s afraid he’s gonna break something again 

“hello” richie says

“…hi..” eddie says, watching as richie walks,, trying to be all cool and casual but ends up walking against a Lays shelf

eddie drops his head quickly to hide his laughter as an embarrassed richie starts gathering up the chips

he ends up taking one tho only so that he can say he “did it on purpose”

“so you’re taking chips and french fries huh???”

“well why not. i like potatoes”

“great”

“uh-huh”

richie’s just staring at eddie as he’s doing his job and eddie can feel this so his cheeks are kinda heating up 

“and a pack of green marlboros”

“right” eddie says,, remembering this from last time 

“that’ll be 10dollars”

“thanks eddie”

eddie almost chokes as the guy flashes him a smirk and is about to leave

“how do you know my name???”

richie just winks and eddie’s stomach flips again but this time its over something completely different and before eddie could ask his name richie’s out of the store already. proud w himself

richie doesnt say anything to bevvie tho even tho they hang out bc he doesnt want 1) beverly to bring him down 2) to ruin the great moment when he’s gonna tell beverly he’s got a date with eddie and see the look on her face

after a couple of days richie goes back to buy a twix bar. and more cigarettes

“hi eds” richie says as he walks in and eddie goes bright red

“do not call me eds”

richie smirks as he shuffles to the desk 

“can i have a pack of-”

eddie slams the marlboro green to the counter

richie smirks lightly

“and a twix” 

“those are in front of you” eddie snaps

“yeah i know that, you handing it to me would’ve just been a great moment to accidentally brush my fingers against yours tho” richie sighs as he grabs the twix and places it on the desk with a sweet smile

eddie’s eyes widen and he has to fake a cough 

“FIVE TWENTY, THANK YOU”

“here ya go” richie says and slides him the money

“whats your name??” eddie asks 

“oh, are you interested in knowing??”

“no, but since you somehow know mine which is kind of stalkery and creepy-”

“richie” richie says as he opens the chocolate bar wrapper and bites down to it 

eddie blinks at him

“richie”

“yeah” richie bites his chocolate again “thats me”

“you enjoying that?” eddie nods towards the twix bar that richie’s literally gorged

“i’ve had better things in my mouth but its okay”

eddie’s jaw drops lightly and he just stares at richie 

and then someone clears their throat so eddie turns his gaze to the rather pissed off looking lady behind richie and he clears his throat

“oKAY! NEXT CUSTOMER PLEASE!”

richie glances behind him 

“hey we were having a conversation here”

eddie’s eyes widen

“UH, NO WE WEREN’T!” Eddie fakes a nervous laugh “please just,, step ahead!!”

“wow, rude eds. im gonna go then”

“ooookayyyyy,,, byeeee” eddie says as he’s already beeping the next customer’s stuff but as richie walks away he still steals a glance at his back

richie just keeps on going back

everytime he buys something weird

days pass by,,, richie coming in practically every day and he just doesnt even look around anymore he just grabs the first thing at hands length and puts it to the counter

and eddie actually lets out a chuckle. an actual ,,, true chuckle and richie gets the biggest smile

“you want your regular?” eddie asks

“oh no i quit” richie shrugs and eddie looks surprised

“yeah” richie shrugs

richie’s feeling flirty one friday and buys a pack of condoms

“yyyyello” he says as he slams the pack against the table

“who’s the lucky girl” eddie comments as he beeps the pack

“who says its a girl” richie asks and eddie gets even more pissed off now because??? hE LIKES BOYS??? THATS EVEN WORSE

“right” eddie just dramatically snaps and before he can say the price richie speaks

“im kidding i dont really wanna buy those” he says

eddie quirks a brow

“huh?”

“yes ,,oh my god PLEASE i’ve been coming here literally every day i thought it would be obvious as im buying things like fucking,,, tampons and protein bars when you can clearly see i haven’t worked out a day in my life”

eddie starts to smile (bc thats true)

“okay”

richie’s taken aback

“huh??”

“okay, i’ll go on a date with you��

“what seriously???”

“yeah” eddie smirks but then jokingly goes serious “just… dont put tampons up your nose”

“i promise i wont i dont even- well sometimes when i do get-”

eddie raises amused brows

“sorry” richie apologizes for talking too much again

eddie grabs a piece of paper and scrabbles something before folding it and handing it to richie

“oK THATS GREAT I GOTTA GO NOW BYE” richie’s shocked™

“wait!” eddie stopped him just as richie was about to turn around

richie could fucking cry as he looks at the smirk on eddie’s face

eddie doesnt say anything just raises his brows so richie swallows and nods and grabs the pack, shakily shoving them to the back of his jeans before he gets out and looks at the paper

bc literally seconds later eddie walks over (he was just around the corner)

“hey!!” eddie smiles as he makes his way over to the two of them,, leaning down to press a kiss to richie’s lips as he sits down 

“beverly,, you might know eddie” richie looks at beverly as he speaks ,, mentally saying HA HA BITCH!!!

beverly just gapes at the two of them

“hi:)” - eddie

“…hi…” beverly gives him an awkward smile

“so like,,, i was supposed to go to work today right?? but then my boss called me and wait im gonna show you this mail i was supposed to take to the post office-”

as eddie starts to grab something from his backpack and goes on with his talking,, beverly turns her shocked gaze to richie who just looks so fucking proud 

“are you serious???” beverly mouths

“ohhh yeah” richie mouths back at him

“hey babe?” richie asks 

“yeah?” eddie asks, turning his head towards richie from his backpack

“gimme another kiss” richie pouts and eddie rolls his eyes, kissing him again. richie starts jokingly planting dozens of tiny kisses on his mouth, making eddie giggle

beverly’s jaw only drops lower

they hang out for some time but once eddie leaves,, beverly speaks

“well,,, guess i was wrong” 

richie just smiles wide bc ofc she was

a/n: so this is something i’ve wanted to write for a while because it’s actually semi real life (not me ofc i cry someone i know) and i think their story is super cute. i’ve made some alternatives e.g. in real life it’s a church/school setting but because i’m posting on tumblr i decided to change it to a tutoring academy/school setting. but do let me know if you want a  version of the original setting :) also this ended up being really really long (mainly bc i know like a lot of exact details and wanted to include as much as i can) and im unsure if you guys like my writing style but im hoping to improve more over time as i hopefully write more bullet point styled scenarios :) 

so you’ve been going to this tutoring academy for a while and you go like once a week

you actually look forward to tutoring bc u were actually put in a really good class where everyone is friends and even have a group chat for memes 

anyways theres this guy called joshua who sits at the back

and hes like the most handsome guy in the class and all the girls /not so/ secretly fawn over him 

and like there are loads of rumours about him which claim that he opened his own lil company that makes apps and stuff which earns him $$$ at the age of 12 and how he like used a drone to capture the whole of his relatives wedding and how he like mastered 3 instruments and is a tech genius and on top of that really smart

which you obviously dont believe because thats not even human ??

anyways you do admit he’s sort of ok-above-average lookswise but u aint that shallow because he has a bad personality and you just hate him 

but you have evidence for hating him !! 

one time you accidentally walked into him verbally being mean to this other poor guy 

so you naturally just assumed he was a bully and had a bad impression of him

you thought he was a prideful annoying rude and horrible person 

and you just dont understand the hype about him at the tutoring academy 

like they literally give out flyers with his face on it ?? umm ?? what marketing purposes lmao 

anyways one day at tutor

your friend kyulkyung is like omg did u hear joshua is transferring to our school next year hdkhfaaku

kyulkyung is highkey a fangirl of him and always tries to talk you into him being a lil angel and nice person but you just snort lol

anyways you obviously dont care that he’s going to your school next year so you just shrug whatever 

later that night when u get home u get a friend request on facebook from...dun dun DUNNNN what a surprise joshua hong 

and you’re kinda like well ok ?? no harm in accepting a friend request 

you accidentally click on his name too and think oh well might as well stalk him a bit 

and damn his fb profile is super interesting bc he actually posts a lot but its not like dumb stuff boys usually post about video games 

but like cute family pictures of him and his lil bro and you’re like this boy is family oriented i LIKE 

then you suddenly come across a video...of this guy from your tutor...on kids masterchef

so u watch it and its the cutest thing ever 

lil joshua stirring an egg and trying to make an omelet hehehe

and omg apparently he made it to the semi finals of KIDS MASTERCHEF???

you keep scrolling down and thats when u come across the evidence of him opening up his company with an app and tech jazz and u r like is this guy even rEALL

you’re still doubtful tbh so u go the appstore and type in his app and it comes up...even with CREATOR OF XX APP: JOSHUA HONG ???? you literally fall off ur chair bc wow 

he cooks, he makes apps, he’s family oriented..that is all i need in a man HA HA 

so next time at tutor u see him ur lowkey like the other girls staring at him bc wow he seems decent all of a sudden lol 

ur other tutor friends are like: u r so lucky y/n josh’s gonna be at ur school 

and ur kinda thinking maybe i should befriend him now cos he’ll defs be super popular at school 

but tbh this fawning literally stops after 2 days and you go back to reality and focus on ur studies and all that 

well as for joshua he doesnt really know u too to him ur that cute girl from tutor nothing much 

fast forward to the next year ~

you kinda fully forget that josh is even coming 

so the first school day back is all nice and chill and u get to ur fave class music heheh 

you love music bc it really helps u concentrate and you also play clarinet and piano and love it 

you’re also topping the class and sometimes you think you wouldn’t mind being a music teacher 

so in music u take a seat next to your friend seungkwan who has power vocals and plays trumpet and when he sings at school performances you always accompany him as a pianist with woozi on drums 

you and suengkwan are just chatting and catching up about holidays

when the teacher walks in followed by a student and you see that its joshua 

and you’re like thinking o crap this is really awks i should hide

before u can do any of that tho he kinda makes a  beeline for you and takes the seat next to u cos he only knows u in the class haha 

and you’re literally looking the other way and u pretend u dont notice him take a seat next to u and you’re overly engaged in conversation with seungkwan

but seungkwan being the lovely and outgoing kid notices joshua and is like: hey!! are u new dont think ive seen u before

seungkwan is friends with everyone and everyone loves him back

joshua: uhh yeah i’m new 

and seungkwan is super excited and like welcome!! i’m seungkwan and he sticks his hand out and is like and ur name is?

joshua is like i’m joshua 

and seungkwan is like oh btw this is y/n 

and it gets super awks cos u guys know of each others existence but maybe have talked like once when he had to pass u a bag of chips at tutor and u were like thank u 

and seungkwan senses something and eyes you guys back and forth 

after 837491 decades josh breaks the silence and is like hello y/n in a really meek voice

and you awkwardly smile and say hi 

luckily class starts and the teacher introduces joshua to the class and asks him what instruments he plays 

and the rumours prove to be true - he plays 3 instruments piano guitar and flute the real life guy cant play piano lmao

teacher asks him to demonstrate with the instrument hes most confident in 

and so he starts playing the guitar to the tune of fireflies by owl city and also shyly starts singing to the lyrics check out how cute joshua is playing fireflies on his guitar here IM sOFTTT

and everyone is in awe at how good he is 

and you lowkey feel your heart rate increase bc boi you love guys that play guitar and sing well 

the way he sings is very gentle and sweet and the way he strums the guitar with his long fingers and how his eyes are full of gentle passion just makes you sWOOON

and somehow the way he sings with his emotions poured in just really touches your heart 

after his performance everyone starts clapping and some girls even stand up and cheer lmao 

he gets back to his seat and seungkwan gives him two thumbs up and says: bro are you kimbap kidding you were great you really should play guitar for me next time i sing

thanks says joshua bashfully and he kinda looks over to you with a hopeful look as if hoping you’d say something too

so you’re quickly like: yeah you were really good :)

josh: thanks y/n

anyways the teacher shushes everyone and is like: let me announce your first assignment! it’ll be in groups of 4 and it’ll be a cover of a pop song of your choice which you’d have to arrange yourselves. if you need help, you are welcome to ask other classmates that have experience in arranging or to ask me

whenver its group work you and seungkwan always join woozi

woozi comes over to you guys 

and then both woozi and seungkwan are like to joshua: wanna join our group pls

and so joshua joins your group 

and everyone else in class is jealous lmao because u 4 are definitely the top group with all the musical geniuses 

ur kinda happy that joshua joined ur group bc he’s really good at guitar 

and so u guys decide that u will do keyboard, joshua on guitar, woozi on drums and seungkwan on vocals 

and y’all learn that joshua knows how to hack into arranging music programs for free 

and woozi is like: WHAT MY LIFE HAS BEEN A LIE????

also shows u guys that infamous app you made and he has some secret code so u guys can download it for free instead of buying it for $15

ur group actually gets along really well and has good dynamics bc everyone has great ideas on what songs to do and how to do it and stuff 

and its actually really fun with them even though you’re still awkward around joshua for no reason and he’s kinda shy too lmao

joshua suggests doing “breakeven” by the script 

and u have a fangirl moment bc u love the script and everyone agrees that its a great song choice :)

anyways one day you guys decide to meet after school to practice and  to refine the arranged piece which joshua and woozi did 

BUT FOR SOME ODD REASON seungkwan can’t make it anymore bc he has to babysit his little brothers and woozi has a student council meeting 

so its just you and joshua

and you two have never been like alone before like during group practice you guys make small conversation when the other two there and its all good and sweet but this was gonna be AWKWARD 

anyways so you try to initiate conversation by asking how he’s finding the new school 

and he just gives a short answer: pretty ok 

and it becomes you two just asking each simple questions and giving short replies

but its only when you he asks you how you started getting into music that the conversation really starts going somewhere because your eyes light up while talking about music and so does hie eyes

and you guys talk about how classical music is so under-appreciated these days and how mozart is a music legend and just the beauty of music etc. etc.

and in no time its getting really dark and you both have to head home

you guys walk to the bus stop and he gets on your bus 

and you’re like: hey i don’t think i’ve seen you catch this bus before?

joshua: yeah, but this bus also takes me home there are two buses that stop near my home!

you: oh ok cool 

from that day on you and joshua actually got super close due to both your love for music

you guys always practiced together with seungkwan and woozi even when the group performance was over (and your group topped and got A+!!!!!!!!)

you also encouraged joshua to join the school band club which seungkwan and woozi were also part of

you literally baited him in because the school band club was going on tour to europe next year to get some sick masterclass training and perform at famous places in austria 

so he basically joined so he could go to europe ;)))))) HEHEH

and even though you guys have different friend groups you guys sat near each other in the classes you shared, went to band club every monday morning at like 7am and also sometimes grabbed food together before tutoring 

this was when literally EVERYONE at tutoring and school started shipping u two together and you’d get embarrassed and joshua wouldn’t really say much either 

and to be honest deep in your heart you thought joshua was the ideal boyfriend but you had a rule where you weren’t gonna date in high school bc you wanted to focus on studies and you thought that high school relationships dont last and that they were pointless

and you’ve never really had a crush before so you’re super clueless lmao 

one time students in ur music class volunteered to busk on the streets and you thought it’ll be fine so u and ur squad (josh, seungkwan and woozi) all signed up for it ^^ 

BUT when the day came around, woozi had a really bad fever and couldn’t get out of bed and seungkwan’s mum had to show up to work so seungkwan had to babysit his little brothers again

and so the busking was at school ..,,, except when u got to school the gates were locked AND it literally started pouring 

you regretted not agreeing to your mum driving u bc u were a good daughter and didn’t want to bother her when it was her birthday 

you also regretted not bringing an umbrella with u as u didn't want to miss ur bus 

and so there you were soaking wet in the rain on a saturday morning not pleasant 

you didn't know what to do and none of your gal friends were busking and u didn't want to bother them so you ended up calling joshua and he picked up in 2 rings 

joshua: hey whats up?

you: sorry to ask of this but are you almost at school? because the gates are locked

joshua: oh really? i’ll be there in like 1 minute

you: ok see you soon

and in exactly one minute a car appeared and joshua hopped out with an umbrella

and he had the most concerned expression when he saw u soaking wet without an umbrella

joshua: omg y/n are you stupid why dont you have an umbrella

you just sighed as he held the umbrella above both ur heads 

joshua: why don’t we go inside my mums car before we decide what to do i dont want you getting sick :( 

you guys headed to his mums car and he just held the umbrella above both your heads and you noticed that it covered more of you than him

he could have easily put his arm around u so he wouldn’t get wet at all 

but this was one thing you came to notice and really admire about joshua

that he’s such a respectful gentleman 

whenever you befriended a guy you’d low key make it clear that you weren’t interested and just jokingly friend zone them 

he never made you uncomfortable with his actions or words and always 100% respected you and kept his boundaries 

anyways soon u guys found out that you had to enter the school from the back gates instead of the front  gates and the rain slowly came to a stop

cue: joshua’s mum eyeing you two in the rear mirror from the front lmao

anyways the day went well and you guys had a lot of fun busking together and even got ice cream together afterwards :)) 

next year rolls around and you guys have only maths and music classes together but still hang at tutoring

its  valentines day and tbh u never expect much because you’ve never received a red rose you’ve only gotten those  yellow friendship roses 

but during roll call the person giving out roses is like: y/n a red rose for you!!!! and you’re so SO happy bc who could be this secret admirer??

the rose also came with a super lame pick up line “did it hurt when you fell from heaven?”

anyways europe FINALLy  rolls around and heck u are keen to visit mozart’s house

some of your girl friends like eunwoo, yuha and roa are also going 

when the whole band club arrives in europe every day is busy busy with music workshops and such and its only 5 days in where the teachers who came on the trip give the students like 3 hours of free time

teacher: ok u guys must be in a pair at least so u don’t get lost!!

however, all ur friends only want to go shopping while u wanted to take a walk and admire the scenery of europe 

but then someone taps you on the shoulder and u turn around and its joshua 

joshua: hey what were you planning to do during the free time?

you: i wanted to look around and see the architecture and the scenery and stuff but everyone wants to go shopping :( 

joshua: oh really! thats so good because me too i’d rather take a walk around here rather than go shopping; all my friends wanted to shop too 

you: omg thats great we are always in sync arent we haha

joshua: yeah we are! let’s go together then?

so you and joshua walk around the land of austria and admire the beautiful architecture and takes pictures of the scenery and visit all the pretty churches 

it’s literally your favourite day so far in europe bc you’re so happy ahhaa

(little did you know tho seungkwan literally refused joshua to hang out with him bc he was so sick of seeing joshua tiptoe around you. seungkwan: I BEG U TO HAVE SOME ALONE TIME WITH HER PLS BE ROMANTIC PLS CONFESS ALREADYYYY)

so that night dinner is also free time so students can choose where they wanna go to eat and seungkwan joins you guys and you guys all end up in a really fancy and aesthetic restaurant 

where the lighting is dim, there are lit candles and roses hung around and its literally a beautiful restaurant

you’re super oblivious but seungkwan is like glaring at joshua the whole time and kicking him under the table 

while they’re having a staring contest you’re just chatting away about how much of a great time you’re having and how this is the first time in your life you’ve been inside such a nice restaurant and  chugging on your food 

after the meal you take a toilet break and little do you know while you’re doing so seungkwan is giving mediating lessons to joshua so he can calm down 

and by the time you get back seungkwan is gone

you: oh where did seungkwan go?

joshua: oh he just went to chat with woozi

you take a seat and is like: so do u reckon we should head now?

and then joshua is like: actually there’s something i really want to say to you

and you just look at him super confused bc did something bad happen?? and you’re just super clueless and oblivious to his feelings towards you

bc the reason why ppl even ship u guys in the first place is because everyone can see how the way he stares at you, cares for you, catches your bus thats a 15min walk to his home when there’s one that stops directly in front of his home, how he always helps you with work, how he always encourages you to not give up whenever you’re having a hard time 

and then joshua is like: y/n you probably have an idea already but i really like you, i like you a lot. i’ve liked you since we got ditched by seungkwan and woozi in music class and we ended up talking about music and had a proper conversation. also the rose for valentines day this year, that was me too

Death isn’t pretty nor is it peaceful. its load, startling, and slow. you feel useless and yet you’re doing everything you can at the same time. you’re scared but everyone is. you’re load too and its hard to be quiet but you’re trying so hard cause she isn’t having a good time and you don’t want to stress her out while shes already laying in a puddle of mucus, saliva, and you think stomach acid. all you can do is pet her face and tell her shes a good girl and she’ll be okay. your mom isn’t helping and almost antagonizes you but you have to be there for her cause shes scared- who wouldn’t be scared? Shes a dog, she already doesn’t know whats going on or how to tell you, let alone why or what is actually happening. shes fighting something- she snarls and growls and screams, her lips curl up in such a way you only saw once and it was right before she attacked that bird right out of the sky. Dad comes home and gives you a hug but you’re so numb you can’t feel it. he doesnt want you getting too close because he doesnt think she knows what shes doing and later you’ll learn he was right. it takes hours to find a vet and than it turns out they are booked so your mom is on hold for thirty minutes with the humain society. the entire time shes moaning when she isnt sleeping- you think shes sleeping, shes breathing like shes sleeping and snores but it could have been the foam in her mouth muffling the snarls she makes at Death or her imagination or her situation. She growled at siturations- your sister not being home, being told she can’t go outside, being put in the wheel chair. She slowly throws her head back and for a moment you pray to God its a nightmare because the sounds she makes and the way her eyes roll back and the foam and the smell all make movies like The Grudge or The Conjuring look tame or even heart warming. She moves her legs as if to stand up and you ask if it would be a good idea to move her off her side and onto her belly. its decided this could be dangerous so you sit and pet her back. this goes on and on and on like a broken record or a video on loop. the silence, the moaning, the snarling, the head roll. you clean up the puddle as best you can and you rush to the toilet to vomit. you’re sure its not just mucus, stomach acid, and saliva now. a dark and twisted- no, terrifying!- thought enters your mind: you don’t want her to survive this. This is suffering. the damage will be too much. your mom says you’re not being realistic because you want her to describe the situation to the people on the phone instead of just saying “Our dog is dying.” so you scream. you scream and wail and hug yourself because your dog is suffering and you can’t help her. you dog is suffering and you can’t help her. your dog is suffering. and you can’t help her. she cries and screams and snarls all at once and you’re sure that sound will haunt you forever. you go back to petting her and cleaning the fluids away from her mouth. theres bits of flesh. you don’t acknowledge them since no one else did and the silence explains that every did indeed see them. mom gets though and she says two people are coming. you tell Bear she is going to be okay, that there are people she isn’t going to like because they are strangers coming to help her. she barks a sad bark that gets cut off by her gargling on foam you wipe away. shes quiet after that, but the head rolls continue and at one point she puts her paw on you. you think she wants you to hold it so you do. you’ll find out soon she wasn’t aware you were there or that you were holding her paw. you don’t know what to do so you trim her nails; she never let you trim the ones on her back leg so you do that. the others are fine. she has a matted chunk of fur you never saw on this paw. you trim it up and hear the sound of a truck stopping near the house. you go outside and two women in MHS uniform walk up: they see you crying and understand, one of them had a pet die recently. they ask dad if its okay to go inside, if theres other pets, what the situation is besides “the dog is dying”. when they come in your sister tells Bear “Bear, i know you’re not gonna like this, but there are TWO strangers here!” and she doesn’t react. the one lady speaks to dad while the other speaks to you and your sister. its explained they are going strait to the humain society with Bear because of her condition. Bear doesn’t loll her head, but she is pressing into Haley’s knee. Its explain she will be put down at the society. Its explained since they are taking her you can’t be with Bear in the room when they euthanize her. you remember how angry you got at a class mate when they said they hated these people for euthanizing dogs and you want to show him Bear. you want to scream at him “You think she can survive this?”. the lady says something about a paw print and it is explained unless we want to Take The Body Back you can’t have the ashes. you think about that and almost vomit right there in the living room while you pet Bear. Haley breaths out “fuck” and shes crying just as much as you. Haley says we can’t wait to take her some place else and the ladies agree. you want to go with them but you can’t, its not allowed. you want Bear’s ashes but the thought of going in, getting Her Body, and Holding On To It Until You Or Your Parents Or Sister Find A Cremation Service horrifies you and one of the ladies expresses she herself could never do that- she would break. Bear is going to be cremated with all the other dogs that need to be cremated At The End Of The Month. They have a guy that comes by. they’re going to send you a paw print- they were going to do that if you wanted it or not. Bear lolls her head and presses into Haley’s knee again. Dad asks how much this will all cost and the second lady leaves. “we don’t charge”. the lady comes back with a blanket and a rope leash you’ve seen on that Animal Planet show where they follow around Humaine society members and film them working. you tell Bear they have a blanket, just for her! the lady loops the rope leash around Bear’s neck and mom finally sees Bear. she asks all these questions that haley answers “thats how its been all morning.” Bear gets muzzled and the two women hoist her up onto the blanket and wrap her up. her nose sticks out and you reach out to wipe the foam from her chin but they move away and take her to the van. you follow them out and your legs are trembling. Haley says good bye first and thats when you learn Bear Had A Stroke. A very bad Stroke. Shes seen it lots of times. her own dog died of it. seeing a dog go though a stroke is terrifying. when they survive its heartwarming but they never survive ones this bad. mom says she wants to give Bear a treat. “She wouldn’t eat it. shes checked out up here.” she taps her head. “She doesn’t even know shes been moved. She probably doesn’t even hear your daughter, ma’am.” Haley gets out of the van and you climb in. you rest your head on Bear’s neck and tell her how much you lover her, how she was always a good girl. How you’ll see her again. “not soon” you assure her because you know Bear was always worried about you. she did everything she could to be by your side. “I’ll be okay. You’re going to be okay too!” you tell her and you’re positive she isn’t breathing anymore. you pet her again and climb you. the humanie society lady gives you a hug and it takes you a minute but you hug her back. she has good advice and assures your family you took great care of Bear. they say if you need anything to call them, and they remind you that if you get mail from them not to throw it out- it’s Bear’s paw print. the van leaves and you wail into your dad’s chest. mom ushers everyone inside and you stare at Bear’s food bowl. She didn’t get to eat breakfast. you and your sister sit in her room. you cry and shutter as you watch youtube on the xbox. it hits you that you should eat something but the thought of going into the living room rips a scream from you. your sister gets yo some water- she gets you three glasses of water- and she makes parsnip chips. you can barely sip the water and you eat the chips because you havn’t eaten all day since 9am and its 4pm now. you realize how long Bear suffered and you want to vomit. you realize how long Bear suffered. and you want to vomit. eventually Haley wants to go to bed, so you get up. you don’t want to be alone, you don’t want to be alone, she didn’t get to have breakfast she isn’t here anymore she wasn’t even aware you were comforting her you were useless and powerless you decide to stare at the ceiling as you walk into the living room and notice how quiet it is now that Bear isn’t barking you pawing at the standing fan trying to knock it down because she didn’t like it. you make yourself some chicken nuggets and fall to your knees in a silent scream. you go non verbal as your sister comes in to give you the water you left in her room and she hugs you. you eat your nuggets. you stare at Bear’s bed. you decide to make a tumblr post.

Death isn’t quiet and peaceful. Death is hearing your dog scream as she has a stroke.
